Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the bathroom and toilet was unacceptable. We had to contact reception and request that someone be sent to clean the facilities. Additionally, the quality of the food was very poor, with extremely limited options. During the entire duration of our stay, we did not have a single meal that was enjoyable. On a positive note, the staff were very polite and kind, and we appreciated their attitude and professionalism.

This was the worst hotel we went to in turkey. All they had was false advertisement. They said they “have market” and “water park for kids”, both were shut down. They said they were not in season when I asked. Meanwhile on their instagram they are posting they are in season (see screenshot). I had to go to the market numerous times because the drinks and amenities they had were so limited. I even tried to tell staff, where is market it is on the sign (see photo) - they said ohh well actually not around.

Not only that - the buffet had bugs in the food ! None of staff spoke English, which no worries I understand but it was so hard to talk to anyone, and they said they did have English speakers.

Lastly, my husband and I called ahead of time and asked if the spa takes credit card. He gets done his massage and they go actually we don’t sorry , making us go to the market again. I spent $109 on taxis alone.

EVERY OTHER HOTEL IN BODRUM LOOKED NICER ! HAD BUGS IN FOOD. SAID THEYRE NOT IN SEASON WHEN THEY ARE!

This was a nice family run hotel. It was convenient to and from the airport. They had transportation available at the hotel and saved us from an unfortunate car rental experience. We had the breakfast only meal option and it ended up being the best.

Great location and great view. Food is good. Service however is terrible. Room service wont happen everyday. You would need to call reception and ask for it. NO TAXI IS ALLOWED. you are forced to use their VIP service which is more than double the price of regular taxi! even if you call for a taxi yourself they will deny your taxi to enter to the permitter of the hotel which is insane!

Great hotel that needs some updates

Excellent staff! Great hospitality and view. The sea is great. Location is close to a lot of famous resorts. The only issues are that the rooms needs an update and feels dated, some minor electrical issues that turn on and off and happened occasionally and final the resturaunt food is just ok but the service was great.

Sea view is amazing but the sea was awful, most of the hotels has flat sea but this hotel beach has always waves, it was not easy to swim and spend time in the sea. I dont think that i stay there once more, sorry…

Not worth the money 2night max stay

This hotel is not worth the money, if it was half price I would of been happy and expected it. The Al a carte food was worse than a cold buffet, the chefs do not know the menu e.g salmon with creamy sauce came without the sauce, pancakes with fresh fruit and sauce came completely plain. The staff are friendly but need training and need to improve their English as it was a complete guess if they even understood your order and you would get when you asked for. The menu stayed the same for the whole week which is also the same as the majority of the lunch menu so very bored by day 3 of eating so much bland/ cold/ overly fried food (see ‘fillet steak’ which looked like beef schnitzel). The room was basic, had to ask for mini fridge and shower gels to be replenished each day which when we complained they then filled our whole side with showers gels which is quite petty and does not look good. The alcohol was awful I’ve tasted better £1 lambrini as a teenager than the wine they served, the cocktails also didn’t come as they should (doesn’t take basic Googling for them to learn how to make them considering the cocktail menu doesn’t change). The reception staff were rude and clearly did not want to be there.
I’m very glad I don’t have children as the kids pool looked like it has never been cleaned! Such a shame for this hotel as the beach and pool area is gorgeous and they could make the hotel sooo much better!

The moment from I stepped in to the hotel i was very disappointed. The room was not ready, so we had to wait 2 hours or more to just to get in after the check in time.

The hotel do not allow you or help you to get a taxi. They have their own transport services, which is overpriced and you can’t get anywhere unless you use it. The price to get anywhere from hotel is the double of what the original price of the taxi.

The food was just below average of what you expect to have from place like this. I have stayed at their junior suite for 5 days, and the only good thing i can say is the room was decent. However, the jacuzzi was broken so we couldn’t use it. The whole point of me getting that room was to use that jacuzzi. We couldn’t fill up the water, and when we did the colour of the water was brown/yellow.

Beside great location and magnificent view from room balcony all other services were bad.
At the reception, staff doesn't speak any English so even basic conversation is not possible, ordering taxi in English or dinner via room service is such a difficult task not to say impossible. Reception staff not able to provide basic information about excursion offered, later on I found that for the same excursion they are asking 60 Euros while in Bodrum city it could be purchased for 30 Euros. Lady working at the reception instead of offering traditional Turkish hospitality was hostile at the moment of arrival, no welcome, no hello, no smile, just strange staring at guest and all she said you need to pay in advance and that is all. No information about hotel services, for example water sports and speed boat excursion. Only nice lady was working at the spa center and her English was ok.
Although small boutique hotel, manager was not bothering to say hello even once, turning his head away when I was passing by. Every day exactly same food served for breakfast.

Book for two rooms, both rooms when we checked in there are water kettle and coffee/tea making facilities.However, there are no cups whatsoever and also the bottled water which should be free of charge.
Called the reception, this is the only line you can call, to ask for water bottle and tea cups.The duty manager which is the only one that speak fluent english responded by promising to send the cups and water to the room, but until we checked out the next day...nothing being sent.

i do not know if it is because a busy time of the year,but they supposed to increase the level of vigilance and service during his busy season as well i believe.

However, the overall satisfaction from this hotel gained from total experience of welcoming and helping staff.Especially the gentleman,that night duty manager, that helped me printing out some documents and ordering a private taxi for late shopping.

Beautiful landscape and scenery surrounding the hotel is unbeatable, the trees are so green and provide enough protection from scorching mid-day sun and high wind.

The restaurant experience though,is our main highlight in this stay. Do not miss the dinner by the patio, a late afternoon just before the sunset would be a perfect timing.Watch the light change dramatically and feel the sea breeze that nicely swept your skin,while enjoying your appetizer and drinks.The breakfast in the morning not to be missed as well, they provide a basic turkish breakfast set with additional eggs to your liking

The hotel is located at a beautiful hill. Rooms are spacious and have a great sea view. The original design hotel and landscape was good but has not properly maintained. We experienced that the things such as air conditioning broke several times. The food variety was good but they definitely need a better cook. The hotel was understaffed although the staff is really working hard to compensate it. Not so sure whether this place is worth for its price. The management was completely absent to listen any feedback or offer anything to improve the experience.

I had a wonderful 1-week long stay at Sarpedor (Superior room, all inclusive basis). Friendly and caring staff, very clean premises and cleverly organised public areas. The hotel was very good at adapting to health measures - tables and rails cleaned multiple times daily, fresh plastic wrapped beach towels, hand sanitisers everywhere, staff get screened and tested regularly. Complete switch to ordering by menu was a nice bonus. There are only 25 rooms or so, and service was always efficient. Lovely food with good variety (especially barbecue), amazing cocktails and varied live music a few times a week. The hotel offers efficient, cost-affective and comfortable transfers all over the peninsula. Overall, you get a private boutique holiday experience. It is true, there are a lot of steps, so guests requiring accessibility might find it difficult, but the hotel doesn’t hide this. Multiple levels add to a beautiful scenery and there are plenty of secluded areas with amazing views. I have read few negative reviews from some guests - those guests were clearly noticeable during the stay and these are a type of guests who always find something to complain about. Special thank you goes to Ayperi who went an extra length to make our stay comfortable!

Stunning escape

Absolutely stunning hotel. Set just outside of the main town of Bodrum it's a tranquil escape from day to day life. The service was incredible (all the staff were friendly and knowledgeable - they even brought my drinks out as I sat down for lunch or dinner without me having to order. Such a great attention to detail!).
The spa is also worth visiting - especially for the Hammam, deep tissue and Hot stone massages. I will definitely be back!

Wonderful stay for a couples getaway!

Our stay at the Sarpedor was perfect! If you're looking for a quiet getaway in a comfortable hotel this is the place for you. The staff were helpful and treated us kindly from the moment we arrived. The front desk staff are very helpful and knowledgeable, and will take care of you. The staff go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your stay. The food is wonderful. The beach has room for many people even though the hotel doesn't hold that many guests. So you're not packed in, but rather you can enjoy the place like it's all your own. We purchased a salon package at a discount and it was very nice especially for that price during the office season. I don't think it's worth double that during the summer months though. If I had to name one bad thing, it would be the beds...very hard. If this hotel were to purchase new mattresses, it would be heaven!

It was for three nights. It is a quiet hotel for families. Service was great. The A/C in the main room was broken, but they fixed it promptly.

In addition, they have a policy that no drinks should be brought from outside, however, they were very nice about it thee first time since there was no mention of that on hotels.com.

I liked the location, our room and view as well as the staff at the beach area. The Front Desk Manager did a poor job checking us in, it took him 45-60 minutes. I showed him our confirmed reservation but he made us sit there to verify with Expedia. He should have checked us in and then talk to us. First impression of hotel was horrible. Please talk to your front desk manager, rest of the staff was great. Then I asked him if we could check out 2 hours later and his excuse was “ we are almost sold out” which was a lie . Please talk to him. Small things like this are important

Amazing stay at Janna

We have stayed at Janna for 10 days with a family of 5. The hotel is very calm with no loud music and shows. Due to a smaller size it's very cozy. Also we liked the lack of Russian tourists. The room was very nice with new furniture and nice bed. It was cleaned daily.
Staff is very professional, polite and caring and speaks multiple languages (English, French, German). Speacial thanks to our seaside manager for great job.
Very nice and relaxing atmosphere with pine trees and flowers around the whole hotel. We have also enjoyed the nice sun beds next to the pool and the sea. Excellent food in different varieties. We will definitely come back!

The hotel is a great boutique style hotel. Only 50 rooms. We stayed at the junior suit which was a 80m2, very large room, with ensuite very large jacuzzi and amazing view. Service was great like a family run business. The only area that they can improve is the food. It was not bad but ordinary.

Relaxing break with a 1 yr old.

Awesome place to relax and wind down. The hotel has balinese feel which is what they have gone for. If you just want to relax, sunbath, swim in the sea and eat awesome food then this is the place! Theres not much around locally so you would plan to stay at the resort. Local bus can take you in to the bodrum centre which will cost you less than 1 pound and is very frequent. We did this twice but returned for food as we were full board. Would go back for sure

Excellent boutique hotel

Excellent boutique hotel in Bodrum. Only 35 rooms, not your typical 'mega' resort. I believe all rooms have a sea view. Stayed on a full board basis - food was delicious throughout with a wide variety of dishes on offer. The Spa offers a number of treatments at very reasonable prices. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for somewhere peaceful to relax and recharge.

Great Boutique Hotel For a Nice Getaway

I blame Expedia for the mix up, but the hotel was billed as All-Inclusive, which it is not technically. In addition, Expedia did not make it obvious that you could purchase breakfast only, or full board. I bought breakfast only and was approached by the staff during dinner the first night that we shouldn't be eating there, since we'd purchased breakfast only. It took about an hour on the phone with Expedia with no resolution, then a trip to the front office to get things straight.

The hotel originally wanted to charge us an additional $100 per day for full board. I haggled with them a bit, because Expedia offered full board for only an additional $18 per day. We eventually settled on $25 per day more and the rest of the trip was fine.

Additionally, the description on Expedia listed it as having a Kid's Club, which again, technically they did, but it consisted of a small room with toys for 1-3 year olds and adult supervision. We took our 6 year old daughter with us because we thought there would be activities for her.

The hotel is great, the staff is good, but the description of the amenities leaves something to be desired. We will definitely go back.

Amazing location and spectacular landscape

We checked firstly in a room which not as per expectation. Hotel Manager - Junaid upgraded us to a better room with jacuzzi, free of charge. Excellent hospitality in the restaurant especially Sawat. The only thing which makes the hotel less than 5 (perfect) is no hot water during the night!

My wife and I were very happy that we chose Sedative for our vacation. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are very spacious. The staff at the reception, restaurant and the spa were friendly. The Hotel only has about 30 rooms. Where we were there, only 30% of it was full. So it was super quiet. The hotel is over looking at the Torba bay and has a great view. Definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking to spend time in Bodrum but want to be away from the craziness of Bodrum Center.

Otel çok güzel bir koyda. Odalar geniş. Odaların konumu manzara görecek şekilde ayarlanmış. Bol ağaçlı. Bütün personeller güleryüzlü. Otelin tamamı temiz. Plaj havluları şezlonglarda hazır bekliyor. Yemekler 10/10. Yemek yemek için yer bulamadık, almak istediğimiz şey bitmiş derdi yok. Tek dezavantaj (bize göre dezavantaj değil) kumsal yok deniz derinliği 2m den başlıyor. Ve çoğunlukla deniz dalgalı. Ama deniz çok temiz. Tekrar geleceğiz Sarpedor ☺️

Fiyat performansta sınıfta jalan bir konuklama

Öncelikle ilk girişte bir gün önce kontrol ettirmeme rağmen hotel comdan yaptığım rezervasyonu bulamadılar. Tek oda kaldı denmesine rağmen otel boştu ve bizi denizi gören üst kat bir odaya alabilecek iken her zaman yapıldığı gibi manzarası daha sınırlı olan bir odaya alındık. Restaurantta klima çalışmadığından ilk gece deniz manzarasından uzak bir masa da klima altında olmak için oturduk. Aynı durum sabah kahvaltıda da devam edince şef ahçıya sorunca bende çalışanım burda klimalar bozuk diye kestirip attı. Yetkili kişiyi istedim. O da genel müdürü çağırdı. İşte o andan itibaren tatil daha iyi bir seviyeye geldi. Çünkü Muarrem bey bu sorunla uğraştığını ve çözmek için elinden geleni yaptığını ve özürlerini ileterek bir genel müdürün otel misafirinin sorunları ile nasıl maksimum ilgilenebileceğini gösterdi. Kendisi aldığı sorumluluğun farkında olan gerçek bir profesyonel. Daha sonra bizi de plajda kaldığımız sürece kabanada ayarladı. Ancak otel eski ve yenilenmesi gereken yerleri var. Yiyecek kısmı aldığı konaklama ücretlerine ters oranda çok zayıftı. Yemek çeşitleri ve kalitesi nerede ise bir devlet kampı düzeyinde idi. Etten tasarruf etmek için mönüyü en ekonomik şekilde dizayn etmeleri tatilde en çok misafirlerce istenilen yeme içme keyfini eksik bıraktı ve sadece karın doyurmak için yenilen bir yemekten ileri geçilemedi. Sonuçta manzarası ve konumu güzel olan otelin yeme içme ve konaklama konforu olarak fiyat performans dengesizliği mevcut. Ama en olumlu yanı genel müdürü.

So etwas kenne ich nur aus dem TV!!!
Das ganze Zimmer stinkt.. Komplett alles veraltet..
Obwohl wir das Zimmer getauscht haben, funktioniert die hälfte nicht..
Kann mir nicht erklären, dass sie Positive Bewertungen erhalten haben!!!

Çalışanlar çok ilgili ve güleryüzlü otel temiz odalar geniş kahvaltı ve yemekleri çok güzel deniz güzel ama taşlık ve dalgalı bir denizi var çocuklar için ve iyi yüzemeyenler için uygun değil havuzu güzel ama derin değil ek çocuk havuzu yok sahile basamak merdiven ile iniliyor yaşlılar için pek uygun olmayabilir biz oteli çok beğendik Bodrum tatillerinde kesinlikle tercih ederiz

Toller Ausblick und sehr freundliches Personal. Ab und an gab es Straßenkatzen auf der Terrasse. Es wurden uns Wünsche wie Mückenspray sofort erfüllt. Jedoch gobt es in der Umgebung keinen Taxistand. Uns wurde ein Transfer angeboten, was deutlich zu teuer war (160 TL für 3 Min. Autofahrt) ohne eine Alrernative (Taxi rufen). Im großen und ganzen können wir die Unterkunft empfehlen.

무료로 방을 업그레이드 해줬어요 대신 계단을 많이 이용해야 하는 불편함이 있었어요

음식도 괜찮아요

수영장 깊이도 1.4m로 아이와 같이 놀기 적당 했어요
키즈풀은 정돈되지 않아 이용할 수 없었어요 가장 아쉬워요

쉬는 중 해를 피하기가 조금 어려웠어요
태닝하기엔 아주 훌륭해요

파도가 쎄면 바다수영이 어려워요 계단을 통해 바다에 들어가야 하는 어려움이 있어요

spa도 좋아요

지역이 습하기도 하지만 화장실 환기가 되지 않은 구조여서 곰팡이가 있어요...
