Good location and a lovely large room with cable TV that included English language news channels. The policy of charging for even a single bottle of water and not providing a water cooler in reception or a kettle in the room seemed very penny-pinching. Near-boiling water downstairs, but only plastic toothmugs wasn't really a solution. Adequate, western breakfast (not a buffet) but only only one smallish cup of coffee. We stayed twice - we liked it the first time, but whilst Floor 6 seemed to be insect-free, there were several small (4-5mm)insects on our bathroom floor on Floor 5 during the night. Still, not surprising in this climate and I've met far larger visitors in far more expensive hotels than this.

Great location & affordable price

Location and services were great for the affordable price we paid. The only downside was there were tiny cockroaches in the room (bathroom, beds, cupboards etc). Friend & I were not scared or bothered but it's something that they can improve on. Otherwise we had a great stay! Thanks

Affordable and easy to find

Hotel is easy to be found.. Our double bed room is spacious and has a small terrace. However, its so dusty.. I have asthma so room is not good with people with asthma

A cheat to smoker

If you are smoker，please get away this hotel because the management aims to impose a penalty of 2000B for smoking inside the room when you check out just by the smell inside the room. Be careful all all smokers，the residual smoke in your lungs may cause you adequately to pay 2000B，think carefully before you book this hotel.

you get what you paid

The male front desk staff was rude and does not read any check in instruction. He even degrading Expedia reservation and almost said reservation was invalid. The female staff was professional. Bed was too firm to provide comfort sleep.

Nice hotel in silom

Usually book the new rooms none available the standard room needs upgraded eg toilet shower some broken tiles and shower head should be moved up higher .no light in fridge .the desk staff are very helpfull ,and the area has plenty of shops bus transport food outlets ,i always book this hotel as the roomrate is very reasonable

Good value. Clean room. The deluxe rooms are recently renovated. So if you want newer cleaner rooms, try to upgrade to the delux rooms, if they are available. It’s only $1/night diference. It’s worth the upgrade. Also avoid the rooms facing the street if you prefer a restful sleep. The noise can be 24/7. It would be helpful if the Hotel provides a kettle.

Cockroaches in the room!!! </3

On our arrival, the receptionist was very friendly and accommodating. However, when we got to the room, there was a surprise waiting for us... COCKROACHES!!! They were all over the room - beds, pillows, cabinets, washroom, even inside the refrigerator! It was so bad so we called the receptionist that night. Unfortunately, there was a change in the receptionists' shift so we had to deal with the guy. He told us we couldn't transfer since they were fully booked. The next day, there was a new receptionist again. We asked her if we could transfer to another room, she said it was okay but got mad at us for telling her so late. (confusing) Anyway, we got transferred to another room. The new room was new and clean and we were okay with that.

Hard mattress

The bed mattress is very hard and not comfortable at all and feel like sleeping on the divan. Shower drainage is blocked. Not a very good stay. Overall use the service for sleeping only. Tq

Good location, 15mins walk from BTS Surasak station (exit on a right side - Coffee Club) friendly and helpful staff, there's 7-11, Starbucks and restaurants nearby. Breakfast is also good. Careful with tuktuk they might overcharged you (always try to haggle).

Excellent budget hotel!

Loved this hotel. Reasonably basic, but air-con was excellent, bed was firm but comfortable, and bathroom, tv and fridge were all positives and in good working order. Paid roughly £50 for three nights in low season.

Affordable

It was nice just didn't really like Bangkok and we only stayed here for 2 nights passing through but it was very affordable. A little way out and often the main road was too busy to get a taxi places. The bed was hard and was slightly loud being in the front of a main road but it was nice for what it was. If you're looking for a good cheap place to stay for just a couple of days I will recommend it. A word of advice just bring hand soap as they didn't have any

Not being promptly informed...

Request for a smoking room upon booking. Not being informed till we reach there, only then being informed no smoking rooms.. Very bad english knowledge, even when i asked for a rubber band.. All the way from Singapore, and tgis is the 3rd times we stay in this hotel.. Previously was good since we request for a side by side room.. But Nowadays too many unreasonable excuses.. No more next time.. Goodbye..

Excellent hotel in a great location

This hotel was an excellent choice in light of cost and location. The hotel is located about 10 minutes from the BTS station and is in the heart of the Indian community. Staff are wonderful and so helpful. The rooms are great though the amenities are in proportion to the price of the hotel. (No in room coffee maker or free water.) My only complaint is that there is no wifi in the bedroom. To use the wifi you have to go down to the lobby. The free breakfast is not a large portion. This hotel is also next door to a 7-11 which means most of the basic things you need can be found there.

Comfortable and convenient

Despite the compact size and limited amenities, the room was clean and comfortable. Thanks to the city-centre location where there were plenty of dining options as well as convenient stores all around, it was possible to find easy meals all day long when the hotel restaurant serves mainly breakfast and even no complimentary bottled water in room!

Best hotel in Bangkok so far for me. It was my first time staying at For you residence and it was the best. Will be staying at \"For you residence\" every time I visit Bangkok. I love the cafe next door. The main thing about this hotel is location. It is located at heart of the city. It was easy for me to meet my clients. Very close to the shopping malls. I loved the staffs. Very friendly and willing to help you in any way possible. I have stayed at top resorts to budget hotels in Thailand but I have never met staffs this friendly and helpful. Thank you so much for all the help guys.

Great Location

The location is fantastic for good coffee, great food and massages right outside the hotel's door. It is close to the water and the night markets. However, the the mattress was rock hard and the room looked absolutely nothing like the pictures. It is on the main drag but surprisingly quiet during the night.
