Stayed here last Friday night. The staff were lovely and we really appreciated the free room upgrade and welcome drinks. The room was clean/comfortable, but the layout was a bit awkward and some of the furniture was a little scuffed. Also, inky one of the elevators was working so was a bit slow to wait sometimes. Still, it was a comfortable stay overall and a nice little escape.

Great property but rooftop dining expenses are absolutely outrageous prices. You can get food that is just as good for 1/3 the price. Examples. Cocktail - >15 USd….. steak 70 USD. I would stay here but dine anywhere around the hotel.

Good hotel, centrally located, we walked everywhere 86k steps in 3 days. Rooms good size and with modern feel. Staff very nice and friendly. Rooms cleaned and water refreshed.
Roof top bar superb, however the price of a drink is super, super expensive £28 for 2 330ml.😱

It is next to a skyrail station which is very convenient to travel around, even to the airport.
The room and toilet / shower/ bath are clean. The only problem there is no chair to sit on. Not very comfortable to drink your coffee by sitting on the edge of the bed

Rooftop bar prices definitely not value, zero atmosphere. Pool staff often not there to take orders, and again price’s definitely not value (same as rooftop bar), better to go out of hotel for food and drink. Hotel in a good location for ferries and metro links.

We contacted well in advance to ask for early check in - their reply came as we were leaving on day three! Not very helpful at check in and had to wait 5 hours.
This was our 4th stay here and our least successful- room fine, pool good, breakfast less choice than usual.

Very good location. Very friendly, kind, and accomidating staff. The rooms were not in the best shape. For example, some power outlets were lose and falling out, damage to walls and paint, the shower had to get fixed so hot water would work, and the elevator lost power causing me to be breifly stuck in the elevator 20 floors up.

Terrible experience… horrible customer service. DO NOT STAY HERE!!

We had no hot water for the first two nights. They tried to get it fixed but they couldn’t. The showers had mold everywhere in them. They eventually moved us to another room that had no air conditioning, dirty sheets, and ants in the bed. We eventually just checked out early to stay in another hotel because it was not anything like stated on the website.

With their no refund we still had to pay for the nights we did not stay because we refused to spend another night in their crappy hotel and be moved multiple times. It was our honeymoon and we were not going to spend it moving around.

Since all of this happened we have tried to work with Expedia to see how they are willing to make this right and Expedia has not made this right and is not willing to give us refund. They said that although they have tried reaching the hotel there is nothing they can do. This will be the last time we book with Expedia as clearly the do not care about the customer. Very sad experience.

The hotel was nice and the view from the executive room was incredible. The area is not central to a lot of dining or sightseeing options, but very close to a BTS station. Also, the fixtures in the hotel are a bit dated. I did notice that the hotel is trying to make prices for breakfast and the bar on the 38th floor more competitive. Overall, I would recommend to travelers looking for a peaceful and comfortable stay.

Could have been wonderful but….. our stay was let down by little details.

Good, helpful staff, excellent location sensible price, well appointed hotel. We got the feeling that post covid some routines had slipped, no minibar, one tea bag, hand towels not replaced, rarely any pool towels when required. The sky bar meal we had was ok, a Caesar Salad, but in a city where good, sensibly priced, food can be had on every street corner changing over £60.00 for it seemed off.

Room was very spacious, but not quite dusty and not too well maintained.
Lights were insufficient, coupled with dark carpets made the room look really dim at night.
No sitting piece like chairs or sofa, nor a desk, so not able to do much work. As a \"business hotel\", thats not very ideal.

Staff was typically good, and the room was also good. The hours for the rooftop lounge, pool, etc were horrible. Only open for a few hours and odd hours at that. The surrounding area is mediocre, not too much of interest to walk to. The price for food and drinks are kinda expected to be high, but at the Mode, they are very, very high. It is next to a train station, so that is a big plus. Overall, the Mode was fine, but for the price and everything else accounted for, there are better hotels to choose from.

We booked 3 rooms, but check in takes a little bit long time. Two of the rooms the electricity for charging are not working. And then we need to call the technician to come up to check. One of the room the hair dryer is not working. We will not coma back to stay in this hotel again.
The breakfast buffet food items is enough and the swimming pool is quite ok.

Great property! Love the location conveniently right off the BTS train stop. Easy access to all the night life and culture, but away enough for peace and quite in Bangkok. Fantastic view from upper floor suites which included VIP access to their M Club rom. Very chic!. Great roof top bar with amazing views. Strange layout, but it worked. Room, bed, shower, etc. were super comfy. An actual mattress and bedding rival that of any luxury brands. Room was clean, but found straggling long hair throughout the floor. Housekeeping could be a touch better. Room furnishings shows significant aging and wear and their light control was not very user friendly. Despite the little details, we would stay there again in a heart beat because of value. The infinity pool area was wonderful, but again, shows significant signs of aging (minor broken pool tiles, rust on their jacuzzi. Unfortunately guests who smokes cigarettes ruins the vibe and the experience.

1st time stay at Mode Sathorn. What impressed me was the layout of its room. They were spacious and comfortable, value for money- especially their huge toilet ! The only downside i felt was that the lightings in the room were not sufficient (without drawing the curtains) i could hardly see to read in the room except turning on their reading lamp.

The hotel was very nice. The pool was incredible and it was a good location in relation to the sky train which was a great benefit if you are only staying in Bangkok for a short period of time.
The reason why we weren’t completely satisfied with our stay was because the check in process took extremely long. And after a long flight you don’t want to wait 25 mins sitting with someone from the staff just to check in.

My requested room was not available until 11pm - not much good when arriving at 2pm. The alternative room proved to be too small for comfort for two people and the shower did not work properly. Changed rooms the following day without problems to a similar room as requested. This was my 6th visit in 2-1/2 years and with the right room was as excellent as ever. Convenient location next to BTS Surasak skyrail station.

BTS역 바로 옆이라 교통도 좋고, 많지는 않지만 주변에 식당이랑 카페 24시간 편의점도 있어서 위치는 만족스러웠어요! 방 크기도 꽤 크고 침대도 크고 편했어요~ 수영장이랑 짐도 크기는 크지는 않지만 만족스러웠습니다. 한가지 아쉬운 점은 청소를 깨끗하게 하지않는것 같아요.. 체크인할 때부터 샤워실 바닥이 좀 더러웠고 룸 메이크업을 부탁하고 나갔다 왔는데 화장실 바닥에 머리카락이 그대로였고 물도 다시 달라고 연락해야했어요.

Stayed here for a night for work. The hotel overall was poorly lit which gives you a creepy feeling. They only have 2 lifts which takes forever and very small.

The bed is very soft. Found used cups not washed and pantry dusty. Room door lock not fully secured either. Big bathroom but desperately need to improve the lighting and housekeeping!!

Tiles are yellowish with mold. After bath the tiles at the shower area are really slippery. Found under the bed a used condom by accident! This is really disgusting!

Not coming here again.

Amazing hotel, will definitely recommend to anyone coming to Bangkok- absolutely loved the view from the roof bar and even the room. The room itself it’s amazing, the bath tub sitting looking out over the view is so so cool. The infinity pool also has an amazing view of Bangkok skyline and is so good to chill at. If I ever come back to Bangkok I will definitely stay here!

Very convenient to the Bangkok skytrain system, train stops right out front. Easy to travel anywhere else in Bangkok that you may want to go. And easy access to - from the airport. Very nice breakfast buffet with large variety of foods. Neighborhood a bit dull and road out front really busy but a reasonable walk to Silom Road and the river and taxi boats.

Place is scammy. All they want is to upsell and take advantage with lack of quality to back it. Rooms were gross. Newvyears eve dinner was pricey and then they wanted to charge even more for just drinking water. From there my wife and I were hanging at the pool, I left for a few minutes and they wanted to take our table away. Went as far as lifting my belongings off of it.

They accommodate after you complain. It was a nightmare here and after 2 weeks traveling it was the worst experience yet. Sad it was my last night of my honeymoon like this.

The hotel itself is nice enough but should be nicer by the look from the outside could do with a good interior designer just to put a few finishing touches because it is a good hotel like my room was big but the way the fridge was placed around the unit was weird could have been much nicer just to make it more cosey, the bed was nice and comfortable. The roof top bar is a rip-off and staff were rude, check in staff were ok but trying to get money off you as soon as you sit down like drinks at the roof top upgradeing the room tell you that the room you booked will not be ready for 2 hours but an upgrade room is ready now but at a price. There is absolutely nothing to do in the area it’s a total dump around the area. The buffet breakfast was just ok the person making the omelettes must have thought he or she was gonna lose their job if the made them any bigger got up to get more food and they gave my seat away twice. Wouldn’t stay here again. But it was just ok to be honest

Two years, two different experiences

I stayed at this hotel in 2017 and again in 2018. The room I had in 2017 was more modern than the one I got in 2018. There was a chair in the room that was very dated looking and one of the legs had been glued back on, crooked, so I refused to sit in it. Despite claiming to have 24 hour check in, they do not. Well you can, but you will not get a room until closer to 2 pm. This was a huge disappointment to me and my friends as we arrived at the hotel just after 7 am, expecting to get a room then. The pool is a great experience as is the rooftop bar/restaurant. Room service is a bargain! One of the best features of this hotel is it is not in the busy tourist district so if you're looking for late night hustle and bustle, this isn't the place. But it is a great place to grab a Tuk Tuk to get over to that area should you desire to visit it. Overall not a bad experience, but I wish I would have gotten the modern room I had before and access to a room when I checked in. Also the wifi doesn't like all apps. I don't know if they're blocked or if it is just slow but it struggled with some of mine.

This was my second year in a row staying at this hotel. I must say the my experience last year was much better. I chose this hotel for it's modern feel. I love the pool and the rooftop bar. This year I got to the hotel early around 8am. They advertise 24 hour check in so thought I would be able to get a room. I was mistaken as I was told check in is a 2pm. I sat in the lobby for 5 hour before getting a room a 1pm. To my disappointment it was a downgrade from the room I had last year. It was a horrible beige and brown room, possibly one of the rooms that hadn't been remodeled. The WiFi is very slow and many restrictions. I tried searching massage places and most of the sites I couldn't access on their wifi. I will most likely find another hotel the next time I go. If you do stay there you most go to the pool bar. The bartender Jack is amazing!

Great stay. Highly recommend.

The only \"bad\" thing was the very soft mattress, slow buffet refills and awkward lighting controls in the room. Otherwise it's a modern and clean building in a fantastic and quiet location at the BTS doorstep, service in general was great, the room was nicely designed with breathtaking views from the bathroom (we had room 3001), the pool was nice and clean, and the rooftop bar had nice views to unwind in the evening.

Perfect Location for business trip - at CBD

The location is perfect - a few steps to BTS!
Inside the room perhaps lighting should be improved - it’s a bit too dark.
