My first stay expirence is good and it near to night market and near to by chocolate place. It was a good place to relax and have a nice room, but the hotel staff are not friendly at all they don help when you needed a helping for wifi or someting you need to know? That is not good for a nice hotel. So all is ok

The studio rm with 6 beds was not as comfortable-
- Toilet no lock, no place to hang clothing
- Toilet cleaniness.. hmmmmm????
- We have to off the toilet light or else others can see the siluate from outside

Before I checked in hotel bahagia ,I expect the hotel will meet my expectation.but I'm felt sad when I was there and the room is smelly,all the bedsheet is too old. The choice of breakfast provided was too limited. The location is strategic at centre of town and 24 hours laundry is same row of the hotel.

Overall Review on my stay with Hotel Bahagia.

I have a great 3D2N stay with Hotel Bahagia. However, one day, after I came back to the hotel after a tiring day with my dear, I found that the room service cleaners have accidentally took away my own white shower towel and left 2 hotel towels for us on the bed.

Well, hope that the hotel cleaners could pay more attention to details next time and the overall review was amazing. As I love the breakfast buffet, the comfort bed, the reasonable hotel price, and so on.

Looking forward to book my holiday trip stay with Hotel Bahagia in the future.

Horrible stopover

We stayed a night as stopover. They did not recognize our reservation but they tried to provide a same type of spacious studio room - not cleaned at all. Looked clean, but there are pet bottles, tissues, etc under beds. Someone shouted at night and we kept awake for hours due to loose window locks. Location is in Kuah which is good to view Eagle Square.

Stayed for 3 nights. Check in was quick. Helpful and accomodating staffs. Tidy room comes with buffet breakfast for 2. A window complimented the room. Hotel location was good. KFC, PizzaHut was near by. But Car parking was convenient.

Affordable hotel in the middle of the town

This is actually my 2nd stay here after being pleased with the 1st but sadly the cleanliness of the toilet leaves a lot to be desired about selecting this hotel again for my next trip to Langkawi. Take note that you'll need to deposit RM100 during check-in which you can get back during check-out as long as your room is in one piece. As a side-note, be wary of the flyers showing various tours at a cheap price in your room as they're using OUTDATED flyers with previous promo prices. The only major advantage it has over other hotels is its cheap price and that's it.

During my check-in, i asked for free wifi password and got 1 chinese lady on my right make face when she heard my request. the way her face as if i desparate and cant afford to pay my own internet. i requested for free wifi bcause it stated during the booking. i stay there just because easy for us to go lunch dinner at Wan Thai Restaurant next door. if not because of Wan Thai, we wont be staying there. we preferred in Pantai Chenang. because of her making face, i will cancel booking that i've booked for my next visit. as an owner or worker that gesture was consider rude to us.

Superb location...near to shopping outlets

We stayed in 2 studio rooms for 3 nights. Rooms was spacious but not properly cleaned, dusty floor & hairs, very old n dirty looking bedsheets, no wardrobe just hangers on the wall, no fridge, tv not clear reception, breakfast was so so, same spread for 3 consecutive days....the only good thing about this hotel is LOCATION

I was really disappointed because when I reached to Bahagia Hotel, the room that I booked was way too far from the photo, I booked King sized bed but the reception told me that all their accommodation are queen sized only. The room was too small, it has NO cabinet to put all our stuff. So the manager asked us to move to their Junior Suite Room, which was double of the room they provided earlier, it was ok, relaxing but kettle cannot use, no rug to wipe our feet from the toilet, if you will request you have to pay RM5.00. our last day was really upsetting, the pipe of the toilet broke down and we checked out without shower or even brushing our teeth.

If you like to stay in some hotel with dirty linen, dirty pillow cases and filthy towels then you have found the right place...

Don't expect to get free WiFi or any WiFi in the room so have to be in lobby to catch up with your work

Breakfast is just about ok... But I would not pay anything for it... There is a local noodle store about 200m down the road where locals eat.

Overall an unforgettable experience for the wrong reasons and definitely will not come again..

Hotel in the middle of town

Nice hotel, even it compact we love it and feel comfort to stay. Since in kuah, easy for shopping & going back to jetty or other place such as cenang etc, just upgrade or repair the shower, because of the loosen tap. Will come again!

I am not very happy with hotel facilities as room is very small with lack of Toiletries,food quality is below standard and poor internet facilities though they claim of having Wifi facilities.Sea beach is far away from the hotel.Hotel Staff is friendly and warm with the limitation of hotel facilities.They said internet is available only in lobby but I did not check whether their claim is right.

The room that I stay couldn't detech the WiFi, hence the WiFi ID and password provided was actually wasted and I have to use my own 3G to surf the Internet (room number 225). Other than that, everything is fine. I would rate 4/5 for my overall experience.

Rooms are very clean & nice with friendly & helpful staffs. Good selection of asian breakfast, free wifi and overall is value for money. Within walking distance, there are plenty of food stalls.

Parking is hard to find if you're driving because the hotel does not provide parking.

Not very easily accessible as it is hiding behind Pizza Hut and it is not shown on map. Does not have carpark for hotel guest to park the vehicle. Have to walk quite a distance just to have the vehicle park. Breakfast that was provided is still alright, but the coffee and tea needs more improvement. The milk provided for both cereal and coffee is more of evaporated milk then fresh milk.

Not clean properly the rooms, under beds there are so many used tissues and didn't sweep the floor.
Bedsheets and beds not make up well.its really ugly.....
Customer services isn't good also. Answering isnt proper and Never welcome.
Never get good wifi. It's very very poor that never loading any websites or apps.
All the way dont believe they deal or welcome the customers in stars hotels way ...

It was the second hotel on the trip as we wanted different experiences on one trip. What you pay for is literally what you get. Pictures looked new, hotel room itself though, shower was falling apart, no hot water, sheets and towel very old. Might wanna bring your own. On a good note, many nice local food shops nearby. Walking distance to the watersports.

A simple hotel which is located in Kuah Town.

The hotel is located in Kuah Town, and hence it is nearer to Kuah Jetty than the airport. Travel time from the airport is about 25 - 30 minutes while travel time from the Jetty is about 10 - 15 minutes.

Upon check-in, a few things in my room weren't working. There was a power trip in my room whenever I inserted the key-card, and the hotel electrician came to rectify the issue. The TV remote also wasn't working but that was rectified as well.

The air-con along the corridor of the 3rd floor isn't cold enough and sometimes it's quite warm.

The breakfast isn't fantastic, but reasonable. However, I would recommend that travellers head out for breakfast to try the local food instead as the breakfast is the usual \"budget hotel\" breakfast that you might get, unless you are planning to save money on one meal.

If you are planning to be out of the hotel for most part of the day due to your activities, than Hotel Bahagia is a hotel you can consider.

A Good Location Hotel

The room that I stayed is extremely small! If you plan to purchase numerous goods in Langkawi, this is not an ideal hotel for staying because the rooms are too small whereby you no extra places to put your goods. Nevertheless, the receptionists are very kind to allow me and a friend to check out at 1pm (extended 1 hour, supposed to check out at 12pm) without charges! They are very polite and helpful to show us the directions as well! The room price is pretty cheap with delicious breakfast! The hotel seems old yet with refurnished. The only drawback is the room is too narrow!

staff very rude, room very dirty, cigarette butts on the floor of the bathroom and trash from the previous residents and the towels are smelly and the water more like warm .. not hot.
although i was not allowed into the room until 2pm sharp !! after waiting for 2 hours because \" the room is not ready\" the room was not properly cleaned and was dusty. the staff are very, very rude and unhelpful. there was a fight with some customers in the lobby one day. the hotel is on a busy street, full of locals and local shops nothing interesting or good about the location. will never choose this hotel again and will never recommend to anybody

The room was great. Only got problem with access card when trying to get into the room. After go to reception, need to wait about 20 minutes for person in charge to come. Girl at reception can't do it. The space inside room was so small. For muslim, space for praying was too small. room condition was ok. bathroom also ok. great location.

The check in was smooth. The buffet style breakfast included was fine. Wifi need to pay extra for so be warned. Otherwise you can just use your own data which is likely cheaper if you get a local sim card. There are enough stores around to buy stuff or have food to eat if need be. Parking is easy. Only thing is that the towels once taken away are not replaced may be I am spoiled by North American standards.
