The property was clean and tidy and had a good size swimming pool for guests. The food was basic and could improve. Hotel is conveniently located and close to the Splash Park, Eagle and a shopping mall. If you are looking for something affordable, this is a relatively good option.

Staff very helpful,friendly ,professional and very efficient. Room large, very comfortable awesome views,,shower good, booked for 2 nights,stayed for 4 but would have extended but had to leave due to own travel itinerary.
We are mature couple,loved room 720, and would highly recommend
Pool was clean, nice size, plenty of seating around and towels available
15 minute walk into centre of town, not a great deal but lots of duty free items.plenty of restaurants at reasonable prices.
Hired a scooter to go round island, roads good.
Ferry port a 15 minute walk from hotel or pay 5myr for a taxi
Ferry to Thailand very easy.
Would highly recommend this hotel.

Overall not bad, but a bit ordinary.

The rooms have to re-paint again ( a bit old ) and the amenities have to include the toothbrush, cotton buds and extra toilet roll. The smallest 2 bottles water in room were not enough, should give a bigger bottles. Many switch socket out of order. No bellboy in the hotel.

Great value, happy stay in Kuah

Choose the room with the big balcony facing the ocean! It’s lovely. Otherwise the standard one is ok too, well-ventilated and bright.

Downside is there were some ants in both rooms we tried so a thorough look into this matter will be nice.

Friendly staff, decent breakfast (although salad bar can be better), small pool but good for us both at low season. 10 min walk to a mall and Wednesday night market.

Rent the room with big balcony you won’t regret it

We started with one night at this hotel and ended up many cos of the friendly staff and good breakfast (the salad bar and coffee can be better). We changed to the bigger room with a nice balcony facing the ocean and it was absolutely great. Pool is small but sufficient for two of us during low season. One problem was the ants crawling around the balcony/ exterior wall and sometimes they came inside...a thorough looking into this matter will help.
Overall good location in Kuah (10 min walk to a small shopping mall and to a night market) and reasonably priced for this quality.

the pool has a nice cozy area to sit on. location is not far from the airport. breakfast was good. along from bellman did a wonderful job in welcoming us and has a positive attitude. desk staff was accommodating and housekeeping too.

2 days family stay

The front desk staffs are friendly which made the check in very smooth. Our requests for connecting room was granted. However the room is a bit old although renovated. There is no shaving kit available so bring your own. The bed is ok & the condition is generally clean. The breakfast is good with western & local variety. There are cakes & cream puffs served! The pool is small but is ok for kids. The gym room equipments a lot of not functioning. Overall is value for money 👌

I can say the best hotel I ever stay in Langkawi. The hotel is clean and facilities are in good condition. Good hotel to stay for both leisure or work purposes. Extra point for a great view from the room. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Varsities choice of breakfast.

Checking in was no problem. They accomodated an earlier check in around 120pm. The room was a bit unclean and my wife was quite surprised the hotel used blue colored towels. The sea view from our seaview room was barely visible on the super small outdoor patio. We asked the front desk for assistance on a rental car, which was delayed by over an hour (not sure if front desk or rental agency responsible for the delay). Free overnight parking for the rental car was a plus. Overall, the place is good for budget conscious solo or couples travelers. No luxuries here.

Not a bad look location,some staff are very helpful some just want to play with there phone.room service needs to be done quicker having your room cleaned at 4pm is rediculous.oceanview rooms need to be looked at as our room flooded twice.breakfast is nice but not food is always cold.also tried to hit me up with more tax when we checked out,we payed this at the start it was added into total when we checked in !

The hotel located at Kuah which is very far from Cenang beach,it is inconvenient cause Kuah is not busy as Cenang beach with a lot of shops and restaurant. The hotel is old and toilet is too small. Breakfast buffet has a lot of choices but it served cold.

Horrible cleanliness of the room. Found my bed full of bed bug (obviously can be see) at the mid night and cause my whole body itchy and red. Beginning was thought might be unlucky for only the room which have this issue, but after requesting for changing second and third room, it was still the SAME!

The room and closet smelt musky, but after awhile you will get used to it. Aircond takes a long time to cool the room due to the room size, suggest to put a bigger horsepower aircon, or put it near the bed.

Parking is plenty, buffet breakfast isn't that bad either.

We've stayed here about 5 times. Prefer the king bed rooms with sea view and the breakfast buffet included. Last time here the pool was under maintenance, and the gym is useless. But we like this place anyway. Convenient for us.

It was a nice stay. I have to say it was a bit of a walk to town were the better restaurants are located, a few places around the hotel. The breakfast buffet was good with a big selection of items. I had a room with a great view. The Wi-Fi worked well.

Middle of town, easy uber around

Staff was friendly and helpful. Although, the hotel food is not as yummy as i expected it to be. However, the breakfast spread was good with variety 👍 The room was well kept. Although the room i stayed in 917 had the aircon too loud, could be the machine. It was hard to sleep. On top of that, the matress and pillow was not as soft as it looks. My favourite is actually the fact that the hotel has special packages for sightseeing/fun activities with transport provided. 👍

overall ..hotel seems nice...happy with premier deluxe room ...cozy one .my only issue and significant is that Lobby of the hotel not having WiFi .. making not even booking a taxi via Uber or Grab possible. I sincerely hope that hotel will sort out this issue

Great quiet location

Travelled during non-busy off-peak period. Check-in and check-out experiences were good, we were given a spacious room with real 'Seaview' (room #820).
Covered swimming pool at L2 was clean, and beautiful.
Located at quiet but at a very convenient location, a supermarket, mall, fast food and other restaurant nearby.
The room was not carpeted yet it was dusty (really dusty!). They cleaned it upon notifying, however we were not satisfied.
Similar to many medium range hotel, their hot water kettle was dirty inside, I'm accepting it as a common issue in local hotels.
Breakfast: Pastries were not so tasty and variety was small. However, the local food was good i.e. Nasi Lemak.

I might add little extra and opt for different hotel on my next trip, which aren't dusty.

great hotel if only they'd renew their linen.

initially I had planned to stay here for a couple of nights but I ended up extending my stay for a week. the hotel was great, ever so slightly run down but quite good by Langkawi standards. the breakfast was bountiful and tasty and the rooms with their high ceilings and verandas we're really relaxing. my only gripe was the quality of the towels and the sheets. while smelling fresh they were clearly stained from previous use. if this one thing was fixed I'd happily give this hotel 5 stars because I really enjoyed my stay.

Looked good in the pictures, but turned out to be a badly built, smelly old building. It was either never finished, or skirtings etc had just fallen off and never been replaced. It appears someone slapped some paint on the walls in a weekend. The bathroom had hair everywhere. Breakfast was ok, but it would have been better to pay less and eat at one of the stalls close by.

Bad experience in Langkawi Seaview Hotel

We arrived at night in Seaview hotel and we already booked two rooms for two nights. The first thing that we faced, they told us there isn't the type of room which we booked and paid for in this hotel. So gave us another type of room that was cheaper, but we paid more. Second things, the behaviour of some staffs was terrible. We requested for blankets two times, but didn't provide and hung up my phone. Unfortunately, in this hotel we had a very bad experience of staying.

A Could Be Better Hotel Stay Near Kuah Town

Our stay was ok.
Room was just renovated.
The wash basin was installed at an abnormal height.
The bidet spray gun is difficult to press on due to short and sharp handle.
The aircond compressor was installed at the balcony wall and running noise could be heard from the bed.
Housekeeping did not change the bedsheet for 2nd night though we had rquested. I suspect it was not changed when we checked in. I felt itchy when sleeping at night. Bad sleeps for 2 nights. It was changed for 3rd night after I reminded them. Most hotels do not change the bed sheets; mark the bed sheets before you go out and check them when you return.
Breakfast was ok. The dining place visually looks ok but watch out for cockcroaches at the buffet tables.
This hotel has just been renovated and could be still ongoing now. It has plenty of parking space.
The checkin was fast but checkout was a little slow. The reception staff generally di not exude warmth as some reviewers had mentioned. I am ok with this as people can be grumpy on their jobs. However, the Manager is responsible for his/her staff behaviours.
I would return to stay for the current condition if the price is right. You need to have a car as the location is 2 to 3 km to Kuah town. The beach is some 25 km; do not stay here if you are a beach person.

Quiet and relaxing stay

The check in process was fast, just that there was a small issue with the baby cot.
Hotels.com said that it is included but Langkawi Seaview hotel staff told me that I have to pay for it. Room was clean and breakfast buffet spread was good.

ok for one night, but definitely not longer...

Good for a night before you leave for Koh Lipe as it's located close to the Kuah Jetty Pier. The whole building needs a full renovation. The rooms were unexpectedly clean after the surreal walk through a dark and dirty corridor. Don't expect anything from the breakfast: everything was just blend and the breakfast room was a random assembly of tables in a conference room.

First of all. The room is OK. Basic but functional.
There are some serious downfalls.We had a massage, but the massage lady didn't concentrate on her job at all
She chatted with the therapist next bed. HW whole thing was more a rub than a massage .
Breakfast buffet was nearly empty one hour before closure and nobody mad efforts to refill.

I stayed at this hotel because expedia made a mistake with my reservation. We got premeir delux room, and the room is spacious except they need some improvement.in our room, the glass door to balcony broken and we had to put a chair to prevent my baby from opening it. The breakfast is ok even though they don't have much choices but it's ok to me because i don't go there to eat.

1. Staff was great. Helpful and soft spoken.
2. Close to Eagle Square and in the middle of the town. Great Location.
3. Balcony did offer a great sea view.
4. Room (621) was in bad shape. Rusty balcony grills. Toilet seat cover was broken; extremely low water pressure in the wash basin. Could smell cigarette smoke in the toilet a lot of times. Hardly anything to watch on TV.
5. People freely smoked in the hotel lobby.
6. Not suitable for vegetarians; particularly Indian Vegetarians. The best available vegetarian option at breakfast also had EGG.
