My family of 4 loved this holiday here. It was peaceful and relaxing and was very close to restaurant and the jetty port. There was also a sunset cruise at the hotel as well.

Rubbish hotel. Not a Ramada hotel

Rubbish hotel. It’s basically a multiple rooms converted to a hotel. Ramada has just put their brand on it. Not secure, anyone can access the room without even passing the lobby. Public restaurants at the ground floor which is noisy with lots of tourists from tour buses coming for meals. Lots of lizards in the room

The rooms are over a mall and stores and it was noisy when people hung out talking in the late evening. The walls of our room we so thin and a connecting door and we could hear the people talking and more at 1pm at night. We raised our voices and ask them to quiet and that helped.
The people working at the hotel were very helpful. The pool was nice too.

Peaceful, clean and boutique in size

The hotel is 5mins walk from the main wharf. Despite this, it is very quiet and peaceful. Our room looked right over the yachts to the sea. The room was very clean and light. I enjoyed looking out over the harbour. The breakfast is very ordinary. But the small size of the hotel, the location and the pool make up for it.

Stay right on the water overlooking marina

Good hotel attached to the Yacht Club. Multiple restaurants and bars with reasonable price. Small pool with pool bar. Friendly staff and all areas were renovated and clean. Short walk to Duty Free stores at the Ferry Terminal or 10 minutes to supermarket, more Duty Free and McDonalds. Breakfast was not 3 star standard and plumbing smells need attention. Overall we were very pleased and will stay again next visit.

We stayed in the 3 bedroom suite, it is tastefully decorated, but the floor was a bit slippery if you are wearing your socks while walking. Love the curved smart TV in the living room. My master bedroom was facing the sea view, it is awesome but at night the noise from the bar downstairs disturbs my sleeping time. Only after 12 midnight, the sound of loud music stops. The pool is dark at night despite opening till 8 pm, there should be enough lighting within the compound of the pool. No room service is available here. Nevertheless, my stay was good.

Location is great in regards to the view, but driving through the ferry’s traffic jam is frustrating, not that I blame the hotel, it’s the unnecessary jam.
The check-in/out process were smooth, and the reception ladies were super friendly and great.
We did not have the breakfast, so no feedback.
The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was good. Everything is included in the bathroom, and the hot water is available.
The housekeeping service is great and friendly.

The hotel is quiet in the evening. In the morning, there’s some noise could come from a construction nearby.

The balcony was good with its amazing view of the ocean.

I’d love to stay there again.

Thank you very much to the team for keeping this place in a good condition.

Disappointing stay

First the good, the sea view was lovely. Bar/ restaurant had great views of the sun set. Unfortunately that’s were it ends. Cleanliness is poor and general maintenance of the room and hotel. Staff were not friendly preferred to be on their phones rather than doing their job. Shame as good be good place to stop.

Room was big and the double beds were comfortable. Not the cleanest as some visible stains on mattress protector. Balcony sliding door was faulty but they fixed it for us. Breakfast was simple local fare of bread and nasi lemak. Tucked at a corner but it was easy to get grab cars to move around.

Okay for a night

Stayed for a night before our ferry back to penang. Not really a place you wanna spend more than one night but perfect location for the ferry. Room in okay condition, was a funky smell in the bathroom we couldn't get rid of we had to hold our breath in there pretty much.

The location of the hotel is very far and not strategic. Overall the condition of the hotel and the amount i paid is not worth. I feel they should improve on the cleanliness. Not comfortable to sleep as the room is quite small. Breakfast was very normal. Nothing extra ordinary in this hotel.

A very disappointing stay

Didn’t expect the hotel was actually a budget type hotel. Paid rm250 per night, I thought the room will at least had a nice beach deco and a comfortable bed. Guess I was wrong. Also, I didn’t get to use the wifi service bcos they gave me the wrong credentials. Didn’t asked fr a new one bcos most of the time I was not at the hotel and by the time I got back it was already dark. Breakfast spread are very limited. Good thing the nasi lemak tasted very nice. Also due to the hot weather, I always like to keep my room cold but despite me asking “do you only gave one key card?” at the reception, they didn’t even bother to offer me another one. Also during breakfast I wonder why it’s so hard for your service boy to turn on the fan. Sorry for the complaint but I’m a frequent traveler and had stayed in so many hotels before and IMO my stays this time is rather quite disappointing. The only thing I love about the room is the smells.💕

Nice hotel at a marina.

Hotel has a very nice vibe, relaxing with a nice view of the marina.

Room is simple but nicely decorated. Toilet is huge but unfortunately ours had a funky smell and the glass shelf that is supposed to hold the toiletries was slanted downwards, unfixed. Couldn't put my toiletries anywhere. The shower heads were also rusty.

Breakfast buffet is simple but tasty. 3 hot dishes, 2 choices of cereal, toast, egg station , a few fruit choices and yoghurt.

Incomplete Hotel with ongoing renovation works

The hotel staff were friendly, and helpful. Breakfast was simple but satisfying ad I prefer simple good and tasty food compared to s complicated spread with a lack of quality and taste. We stayed in the courtyard room, which had a balcony which had to be kept closed at all times as it was facing the walkway and the entrance of other rooms across the terrace (about 10 feet away). Our privacy was compromised. However, the rooms were clean and the towels were new and very clean.

The location of the hotel has easy access to the jetty area, but far from all other attractions. The duty free zone was not much of a plus point for us as the entire island is duty free anyway. I would have preferred a hotel either by the beach or in the town centre, which I will opt for during my next trip.

In summary, no regrets staying here but will try out other hotels in future.

Spacious, clean, neat room with 2 large double beds,better sleep on 2nd nite after repair air cond, great view of yachts with sunset while swimming & jacuzzi. Good b/fast but better if more choices. Front desk efficient and attentive. Will recommend n go again for more.

Terrible hotel in the middle of nowhere. The hotel, other than it being new, was small, and it was loud and noisy outside. In addition, the place was in the middle of nowhere and the pictures you see as mostly photoshopped. Do not plan to see the same room as the actual room is worse than the pictures! Not Recommended

Told at checkin only twin available. Charged same as double. Beds ok. Our room was at end of block so quite quiet. Our friends were give rooms directly over renovation of s bar bellow. Biting the day they spent most of the time sitting in the relaxation area because of the noise of the drills. Brackfast nice and easy. Jakes Bar best streak I’ve had in years. Charley’s Bar good for pub grub.

Overall comfortable stay

The hotel seemed relatively new and has a good location - about 5 minutes walk from Jetty Point/Eagle Square, and 15 minutes walk from Langkawi's largest shopping mall (Langkawi Fair) where we could do some duty free shopping. There are also several restaurants serving fresh, yummy seafood below the hotel - e.g. Charlie's Bar & Grill, Scarborough Fish & Chips, so even if the weather was bad, we could easily pop down for lunch or dinner. We chose the sea-facing room, and our room had a really gorgeous view of the yachts at the jetty/wharf. Our room looked exactly like the photo in this website. It was comfortable, clean and equipped with iron, ironing board, hairdryer, kettle, TV, high-tech safe that went by fingerprint recognition, fan and aircon. The hotel breakfast options were the same daily, comprising some local delights e.g. rendang, and some international options e.g. bread, cornflakes, eggs, and tasted alright.

Some areas of improvement would be: (1) Have better wifi reception in the room. We basically resorted to using the data from the SIM cards we bought at the airport because wifi was really really slow, probably because of insufficient bandwidth as there were many guests vying for limited connection. (2) Have better soundproofing of the rooms. From our rooms, we could clearly hear people in the corridors talking (they were speaking at normal volumes) and it was disruptive especially when we were trying to sleep at night. (3) Provide slippers in the room

Room was exactly like what we expected from the photos. Had a comfortable 2 night stay. Wifi connection drops once you lock your phone (for iOS) so it was a little annoying to have to log in multiple times. Breakfast area is overlooking the marina, which was nice but there wasn't much variety. Hotel is a short 5 min walk to Jetty Square.
