It’s a lovely property and there are not a lot of options anywhere near as nice. The staff are all super friendly, competent and lovely.
Sardinia is surprisingly rigid about most things but this resort was so laid back and nice, while also very competent. I had a terrible flight situation and they were just fantastic helping me last minute. My friends at other (much more expensive but no where near as nice) hotels were so jealous!

Hotel very friendly staff. Two receptionist went out of there way to help us. Pool area beautiful.
Rooms not so good need up dating. Floor in bedroom didn’t look like it hadn’t been cleaned sometimes.
Garden area beautifully kept, wine waiter missed use out three times. The guys who served us meals and took our order, they are friendly and helpful-polite and charming. Food in restaurant very good.
Would stay here again but maybe look at getting a suite next time.

Exceptional Sardinia, close to porto cervo

The ambiance on the hotel was exceptional, the service was very friendly and genuine.
We stayed in the small house by the pool in one of the suits and it was truely beautiful. Tasteful decoration throughout the whole hotel and a great view over baja Sardinia.
I strongly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sardinia and wants to find the perfect get-away!

I had the most amazing suite with a private pool which was amazing. The suite was perfect - only thing I would add was a coffee machine but everything else was perfect.
Breakfasts were a bit disappointing, tinned fruit, undrinkable fruit juice and horrible coffee. The bar is inside the hotel and not staffed a lot of the time so quite difficult to get a drink. Also they could do with pool service for drinks and snacks.

Beach is a 25 minute walk away - not a problem for me and the hotel does operate a shuttle service for 2 euros.

pool area is shut on Saturday afternoons when there is a wedding - not great unless you have a private pool. Would definitely go back to the hotel.

Basic...Expensive...NOT 4*(sorry) MUST have car

I don't usually review (especially bad ones) but if I'd been better informed I wouldn't have stayed here. We were 3 adults | Booked: 7 nights in a Classic Triple Room.
ROOM: very basic, dated, musty smell, looked like a hostel room 2-3* at best. Balcony with 5ft concrete wall if you stood on your tiptoes you could just see pool. Immediately went to reception to change rooms-only had suite available in 2 days (additional cost). QUEEN bed's tiny (small double slept in 1 each) and 1 single bed (felt like wooden bench with a sheet over it). FOOD: Breakfast very basic. Only hot food was fatty soggy bacon and mushy scrambled egg (that nobody ate) if you wanted a boiled egg you had to pay €4 for them to boil it! LOTS of bread/cakes. Quality wasn't the freshest. Mouldy fruit & tomato's some days. 1 choice boiled ham, salami, sliced cheese (didn't look great. ate cheese/toast every day. Family had the same museli/yoghurt EVERY day. Coffee like tar (in Italy!). Did not eat in the restaurant (heard similar reviews about food) & dinner was €40pp for buffet. Went out every night to eat. 1 restaurant nearby walkable you MUST HAVE A CAR. Moved into BEAUTIFUL suite day 2 (which was 4* - only has 6 suites). Last day had a €7 sandwich for lunch, ham/cheese leftovers slapped on a piece of white bread,so bad it went in the bin. Holiday was a double special occasion which I mentioned on booking, NOTHING was even acknowledge. Grounds are stunning and look 5* BUT hotel is 3* at best :(

Suite with pool - amazing!

This is a small but beautiful hotel in an absolutely stunning location. We stayed in the suite with the private swimming pool for our honeymoon and it was perfect. Hotel location is great for cycling, relaxing, very close to deserted sandy beaches and easy to get to the main beaches.
Having said that- the hotel charge £5 for a bottle of water which is pretty shocking considering we are paying half board and £350 a night. However the food quality is very good and varied in the evening. The staff are first class. Highly recommend this hotel and will be back.

My biggest recommendation to the hotel would be to put a proper screen between our suite and the suite next door as currently you only have some plant pots separating it and no privacy. We did expect some privacy considering the private pool etc.

The hotel is set in a picturesque hillside overlooking the bay. Very nice finishes throughout and the staff were great. Highly recommend for people looking for a relaxing place to stay but note you will need to travel by car for activities.

A great hotel in a perfect location

Stayed half board. Food was exceptional. Typically Italian. 4 course dinner starts with mainly seafood buffet and gets better with pasta, main and dessert. Hotel well presented and staff were very friendly and helpful. Close to all the best parts of Costa Smerelda.

The dining experience is absolutely wonderful. Great wine selection, very high end service. Lovely garden property. Clean rooms! This is not a beachside property - 40 minute walk away roadside.

Disappointing hotel.

We spent 10 days at this pretty hotel in September. Quite remotest so car is essential an only one restaurant in walking distance and the hotel does not provide a shuttle bus as mentioned on some websites. Staff minimal and therefore the service is not 4 star. Rooms very sparce and we didn't see a roof terrace in the time we were there. No Wi-fi anywhere in hotel although they do tell you it's an outside problem but it is available everywhere else you go. Breakfast was quite stressful as constantly having to ask the one reluctant waiter for food, plates, tables to be replenished. Would recommend Sardinia but not Hotel Pulicinu.

Nice hotel but car needed -breakfast not great and fruit juices were watery - also should look to vary breakfast - waiters mixed - some very helpful others surly -
Manageress was really good and polite and helpful - hotel had lots of character but poop area could be made more lively and atmospheric -

Stunning views and rooms good and manageress did whatever required to make stay comfortable
Overall would recommend and hotel could really be top if a few minor improvements such as in the restaurant were made

Fantastic ! We loved the suite ,and it was furnished to a very high standard . Bose sound system that even played music in the garden and pool. I would without question return . The private pool was wonderful and the views spectacular.

Totally understaffed hotel , surly attitude at best . In fact I witnessed one guest help himself to drinks because no staff could be found. The hotel had an atmosphere of what I imagine a Morgue would be . The breakfast was , and I use the word deliberately, \"dished\" up at 8am and not replenished at any stage. If you dared to arrive at 9am there was not only hardly any food left ,but no tables had been cleaned , and dirty dishes and crumbs everywhere. On one occasion when they ran out of Tea, I heard a guest say \"your supposed to be a 4star hotel\" the waiter/gardner/pool cleaner replied \"I know, but mostly about 2 stars these days\" enough said really....!!

Lovely grounds - pity about the hotel.

It's under-staffed (by not very cheery people - apart from the breakfast waitress) and badly managed. The lounge/bar area is soulless; the bar was permanently unlit and un-staffed, so no one went near it and the whole lounge area was dead.
Breakfast not over-exciting and often had to wait for replacement bread and glasses. Coffee could take a while too.
Didn't dine there because it was a flat e30 per head for a 3 course meal. We only like a single course for dinner.
Room OK but a bit Spartan; comfy beds though, and nice view. Bathroom cramped and frayed towels/shower mats very off-putting.

Lovely location as long as you have a car -lovely terrace and great breakfast staff very courteous and efficient.
Rooms are clean and comfortable , nice clean pool area no problem getting a sun bed, plenty of shade if you need it -it was worth paying extra for the sea view as you get a balcony to watch the amazing sunsets -this was a return visit and we will visit again.
20 minute walk to Bai Sardinia and Some fabulous beaches.

Perfect honeymoon stay!

Stayed in one of the suites for our honeymoon. Had a lovely private pool and garden. Indoors was very comfortable, big bed, large corner sofa and large bathroom with double shower. Staff were very friendly and helpful with booking day trips and vehicle hire. Lovely food. Public transport links are not very frequent and taxis are really expensive, so recommend having own transport for going anywhere.

Clean, good location but see commen about ur stay

It was a very good hotel, we were there for 1 week.
The only problem I had with this hotel was after being out all day & came back to find our room door open & no one around (staff), also our shower head was missing.
When we told the reception they said they were changing the shower head (for no reason, there was no problem with it) & said there were staff around. That want the case cos after getting back we stayed in the room for 15 min & no staff was to be seen. They did even see the problem with this, we had our money & passport in the room, the safe was not working.
Also please not the hotel has a lot of wedding at weekends.

Relaxing laid back hotel

Nice hotel in pleasant surroundings just outside Baia Sardinia. Car definitely required and ideal for exploring the North East of Sardinia. Very good local restaurants.
Good for location, continental breakfast included was pretty good. Very popular for weddings at the weekend so can be a little noisy. Staff were very helpful.
The room was spacious and included a safe and Sky TV, the bed was quite firm.

Fabulous hotel close to beach.

We have just arrived back home after a wonderful 14 night stay. The gardens were magnificent, the staff so helpful and the pool was so clean and a great area for swimming lengths. There were plenty of sunbeds and a drinks service was always available. The breakfasts were fantastic with so much choice and the views were incredible sitting at the tables on the terrace. You could have evening meal in the hotel if you wished. There was always lots of choice, buffet style and the cost was very reasonable. There was a restaurant about 5 minutes walk from the hotel which becomes one of our favourites with lots to choose from. Baja Sardinia was about a 5 minute drive with lots if restaurants to choose from. A car is a must for you to explore Sardinia and you can pick one up at the airport for a very good price. We would highly recommend Hotel Pulicinu - we would definitely like to stay there again. We booked a suite which faced directly to the pool. It was so convenient and very quiet and the bed was extremely comfortable. The shower was also very big and powerful.

Very good value and location

Super medium-sized hotel, with excellent food, good range of choices, clean and comfortable rooms. Child- friendly, nice pools and grounds. Close to good beaches and local supermarket, in a quiet location. Would be happy to return. You need a car, as with most of the island.

Perfect Paradise

This wonderfully set hotel hidden in the mountains of north east Sardinia is a great place to stay. but do yourself a favour & go half-board as the chef is excellent. The views from the restaurant are breath taking which makes the excellent food even more enjoyable. The breakfast selection is extensive and what you expect from high class hotels
The outside pool is split in to two with a mini-waterfall connecting them which makes it perfect for kids.
Its the perfect place for a romantic getaway .
You need a car if you stay here as the main beach at Baja Sardinia is 2km away however they do offer a daily transfer to this beach.

Fantastic hotel in the heart of the costa smerelda

This hotel is fabulous in everyway. Staff were friendly , helpful and polite .
The pool and views were out of this world. So well kept and clean.
The food was incredible .. Four course meal everynight, with choice to suit any needs. The restaurant staff were brilliant .

Yes you need a car in this area , but to appreciate sardinia - you need a car anyway .
The hotel is close to every amazing beach in the area

Cannot reccomend this hotel enough .. Would definitely return anytime....

Very restful - great hotel

The hotel is up a hill and away from the main road in a quiet location with a very nice view over the bay. The nearest shops and the beach are about 5 minutes drive but parking there was quite easy.
The hotel and grounds are very attractive and the staff are very friendly and helpful and speak good english.
We had half board - 4 courses - and the food was excellent. The dinner code is \"smart casual\" which makes a nice change after a day at the beach.

The hotel boast unique designed swimming pool sunny location,views with very good furniture and shades.surrounded by well maintained gardens and ample shaded parking which is out of sight.The hotel lounge,restaurant and sea view bedrooms have excellent views over the bays.\"book a sea view bedroom\"
The hotel restaurant has a value for money four course menu,drinks are reasonable,breakfast could have had more fresh fruit rather then out of a can
and the toaster \"like watching paint dry\" TV and menu's beside italian mostly in german language.The staff do speak english reception staff helpful the restaurant staff tend to be shy..Plenty of nice beaches.and lovely inland areas to visit .
This Hotel is location behind the coast on a hill side easy access to all locations.
Would return to this\"hands on\" family managed hotel .

L'hôtel et la piscine sont tres jolis, belle vue et bien situés. En revanche les chambres sont délabrées, aucune insonorisation. Je n'ai pas ferme l'œil de la nuit, c'était insupportable.

Mention speciale au restaurant qui nous a comptés un menu entier a pres de 50 euros alors que nous n'avons pris qu'un plat.
Le personnel est sympathique, mais belle arnaque

De hotelkamer had wat gebreken. De TV werkte niet, AC maakte veel lawaai en met een stortbui stond er water op de vloer in de douche. Het ontbijt viel elke dag tegen maar het diner was 2x echt onder de maat en 2x OK.

L’état de la salle de bain dans les 3 chambres : le carrelage était sale, le porte savon et le verre à dent très sale! (on peut vous envoyer des photos pour preuve.)
Dans notre chambre, l’évacuation du lavabo était bouché: lorsqu’il l’ont débouché on entendait systématiquement le bruit dans les tuyauteries ; un compresseur a tourné toutes les demi-heure durant la nuit, Une ampoule était défectueuse, il n’y avait pas d´eau dans le frigo et le corridor qui nous amenait à la chambre n’était pas éclairé: il nous a fallu allumer nos lampes de poche...
C’est proprement indigne de demander 200 Fr. pour une chambre dans un état pareil ! En plus, lors du repas, lorsqu’on a demandé une bouteille de vin régional, le maître d’hôtel nous a proposé un vin sans nous donner la liste de prix et le lendemain sur la facture il coûtait 100 € !!! Nous avons évidemment refusé de payer et la réceptionniste a fini par nous offrir une bouteille pour s’excuser.
En toute honnêteté, je pense que nous sommes en droit de demander un remboursement partiel. Un établissement si bien placé avec des jardins et des infrastructures extérieures magnifiques mais dont le service et l’état intérieur ne correspond pas et de loin à un 4 étoiles...

Das Hotel schmiegt sich diskret auf einem Hügel und überblickt die malerische Baia Sardinia. Diesen tollen Blick kann auch vom Morgen- oder Restauranttisch genossen werden. Die Park- und Poolanlage ist sehr gepflegt und versprüht mediterranen Charm. Die Zimmer sind grosszügig geschnitten und verfügen Bad mit Fenstern. Es war ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt.

Unser Zimmer war sehr dunkel, die Dusche eng und insgesamt war die Einrichtung schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen, ich würde es „alt italienisch“ nennen. Ebenfalls störte die Hellhörigkeit, man konnte jeden Schritt auf dem Flur hören bzw. jedes Geräusch aus der Küche/ dem Eingang, über der/dem sich unser Zimmer befand. Somit haben wir dann auch die Hochzeitsgesellschaft hautnah miterleben dürfen, die zum Glück gegen 0.30 Uhr beendet war. Das Frühstück war typisch italienisch, da muss man Abstriche machen.
Sehr attraktiv hingegen waren der Poolbereich und die gepflegte Außenanlage. Auch das Personal war wirklich zuvorkommend und freundlich. Insgesamt gesehen war es ein schöner Aufenthalt, wir würden beim nächsten Sardinien Besuch allerdings ein anderes Hotel wählen.

Posizione ed inserimento incantevoli. Colpisce subito l'ingresso e tutto il verde che circonda la struttura, il personale è molto cordiale e disponibile. Ottima la colazione e anche la cena.
La struttura avrebbe però bisogno a mio parere di qualche intervento di ristrutturazione per quanto riguarda le camere che non sono in linea con il resto dell'Hotel.
Nel complesso il giudizio è più che positivo, ci tornerei sicuramente.

Recepcionista muito atenciosa, no checkin me orientou sobre os pontos de interesse na região e me deu um upgrade do quarto, para um maior e com vista para o mar, ao longe, café da manhã muito bom. Hotel é mais bonito do que parece nas fotos do site, jardim e piscinas bem cuidados, recomendo!

Hotel liegt schön in den Hügeln, daher ein wunderbarer Blick auf das Meer, man braucht ein Auto für den Strand und die Umgebung, das Personal ist nicht besonders hilfsbereit, wenn man z. B. an einem Tisch beim Fenster sitzen will, etc. Ich hatte ein schönes, grosses , sauberes Zimmer , dass Design war jedoch schon sehr alt. Preis/Leistung stimmt nicht

Ohne Auto ist man in diesem Hotel verloren. Es ist nicht zu empfehlen, gegen Ende Saison dieses Hotel zu besuchen, da die Leistungen überall stark zurück gefahren werden. Das Personal war leider auch teilweise sehr auf Saisonende eingestellt, wobei es wenige, dafür wirklich positive Ausnahmen gab, z.B. der Barangestellte. Das Hotel ist auch sehr beliebt für Hochzeiten am Wochenende, was den Gästen dann erst 1 Tag vor der Veranstaltung mitgeteilt wird. Es ist nicht zu empfehlen, vor Ort zu bleiben, da die Anlage dann vollständig für die Hochzeit eingerichtet wird und man sich als Gast dann eher \"unwillkommen\" vorkommt. Positiv: Die Einnahme das Nachtessens wurde immer zeitlich gut getimt. Um 20 Uhr war der Speisesaal für die Hotelgäste wieder offen und das Essen wurde pünktlich serviert. Essen: Wenn man nicht ein Package mit Nachtessen gebucht hat, war der Preis mit EUR 40/Pers. (ohne Abzüge von Reiseveranstaltern) zu hoch, da die Qualität nicht diesem Preis entsprach. Oft war das Essen nicht warm und leider auch eher lieblos angerichtet (Ausnahme: Vorspeisenbuffet).

Zuerst stand das gebuchte Zimmer nicht zur Verfügung. Nach einer Nacht könnten wir dann umziehen. Dieses Zimmer hatte wenigstens eine Terrasse. Was etwas merkwürdig war ist das am Wochenenden das Hotel zur Hochzeitsfeier genutzt wurde und so die Hotelgäste nur einen begrenzen Zeitraum zur Nutzung vom Pool und Parkplätze hatten. Die Lärmbelästigung war auszuhalten, liegt aber immer an der Lage vom Zimmer! Im großen und ganzen ist es ein sehr nettes Hotel.

Tolle Lage des Holtels am Hang mit atemberaubenden Blick auf das Meer. Bisschen ausserhalb, also ohne Auto und mit kindeen nicht zu empfehlen. Grosser gepflegter Garten tolle Pools, aber nicht für Kinder. Essen sehr gut, Frühstück okay. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Unternehmungen, aber die tollen grossen Strände gibt es in unmittelbarer Umgebung nicht. Man muss immer fahren. Zimmer einfach und dunkel, Bad könnte renoviert werden. Schlechtes Licht im Bad.

sehr schnuckeliges Hotel in toller ruhiger Lage

Wenn man zum Hotel fährt ist man schon mal beeindruckt. Es liegt mitten von Bergen etwas erhöht und die Außenanlage ist super gepflegt und sieht fantastisch aus. Besonders der Pool mit Aussicht auf‘s Meer in weiter Entfernung ist echt klasse. Das Zimmer ist in seinem eigenen Stil schön und sauber. Machnes etwas veraltet wie z.B. der Fön. Man benötigt dringend ein Auto in dem Hotel. Zur Baja Sardinia ist es relativ weit zu Fuß. Aber mit einem Auto hat das Hotel eine klasse Lage um viele tolle Strände anzufahren oder Ausflüge zu machen. Wer Aktion braucht ist in dem Hotel falsch und es ist leider auch sehr sehr hellhörig aber das sind die einzigen Minuspunkte. Wir hatten sehr schöne drei Nächte in dem Hotel mit einem leckeren Frühstück mit viel Auswahl und tollem Ausblick.

Schönes gepflegtes Hotel in Strandnähe

Das Hotel ist sehr gepflegt, herrliche Ausblicke, insbesondere die Suiten sind sehr schön landestypisch möbliert.
Leider lässt der Service und insbesondere das Essen sehr zu wünschen übrig. Antipasti und Desserts sind gut, aber alles andere entspricht nicht italienischem Standard.

Séjour 8 jours entre amis

Séjour de 8 nuits dans l’hôtel PULICINU.
Endroit très calme situé à 15mn de Porto Cervo et Baja Sardinia.
Les chambres vue jardin sont équipées d'un très grand lit de plus de 2m , d'un frigo et un balcon.
La salle de bain mériterait d'être rafraichie , robinetterie anciennes pas de mitigeurs et douche petite.
Le personnel est très sympathique
Petit déjeuner moyen pas de pain frais.
Diner en 1/2 pension excellent avec Antipasti en buffet , 1er et 2ème plat ainsi que les desserts.au choix entre 4 variantes , quantité et qualité sont au rdv.
Belle terrasse pour les repas.
Belle piscine.
Un havre de paix

Fantastisch hotel op een mooie locatie

Het hotel ligt wat hoger, zodat je een mooi uitzicht hebt als je een kamer met zeezicht boekt. Die is ruim met grote comfortabele bedden. Enig minpuntje is de krappe douchecabine. Wij hadden Hp geboekt, echt een aanrader, heerlijk 4 gangen diner iedere avond, volop keuze. Ontbijt met veel zoetwaren , zoals gebruikelijk in Italie. Mooi zwembad, kortom, een aanrader!

Bella location, ottima posizione, peccato i particolari: 0,75 L di acqua a 5 euro, ma perché?
Camere minimal e standard, da ristrutturare all’interno, presente solo lo stretto necessario!
Accoglienza fredda, chiedere subito 15 euro a testa per poter fare una colazione appena arrivati alle 9 del mattino, vero che abbiamo prenotato offerta economica, ma non mi sembra il massimo!

Bella vacanza!!!

L’hotel è situato a poche centinaia di metri dalla strada che porta, in pochissimi minuti di auto, a Baja Sardinia, su una collinetta molto tranquilla. Una volta parcheggiato all’interno della struttura si percorre un vialetto con intorno un bellissimo prato verde curato e si arriva nella Hall. Anche gli interni sono molto belli. La camera, abbastanza ampia e pulita, il letto enorme, il balcone comodo ed attrezzato.
Le due cose che più mi hanno colpito sono state: la piscina ed il ristorante.
La prima è composta da due vasche, una con l’acqua bassissima, adatta ai bambini e l’altra, confinante, per adulti, con le rocce all’interno. Lettini ed ombrelloni intorno e musica piacevole di sottofondo. Ambiente molto tranquillo e rilassante!
Il ristorante, alquanto romantico, con vista sul mare e sulla Maddalena. Ottima e varia la colazione e sublime la cena!

Sehr schönes Hotel typisch Sardinien

Hotel war toll ein bisschen hellhörig, jedoch hat das Hotel einen sardinischen Charme. Hotelanlage ist super gepflegt und sehr begrünt. Hotelpersonal ist und war mega freundlich und hat in jeder lage versucht zu helfen wenn es könnte.
Toller Pool. Schöner Ausblick wenn man ein See View Zimmer bucht.
Over all hat uns unser Aufenthalt im Hotel Pulicinu sehr gut gefallen und wir werden wiederkommen.

Hôtel de charme avec vue magnifique

Trés bon séjour. Hotel très agréable au calme avec une jolie piscine. Prés des plages et des commerces. Les chambres vue mer sont à privilégier ( préciser à l'étage supérieur ) pour vraiment en profiter. Il manque quelques accessoires dans la salle de bain ( voir surtout l'éclairage insuffisant et porte manteaux mural ) Hotel très propre avec un restaurant sympa et bonne cuisine.

HOTEL MAGNIFIQUE !!
Chambre prête à notre arrivée tôt le matin.
nous avions une junior suite à 2 pas de la piscine qui était presque rien que pour nous.
chambre magnifique, propreté rien à redire .
bien que près de la piscine, c'était très calme, nous avons pu nous reposer , clientèle haut de gamme et respectueuse des autres.
le soir buffet \"antipasti\" excellent, plus menu 3 plats avec choix.
possibilité de déjeuner, les prix sont corrects.
Le soir un pantalon est demandé pour les hommes et il faut un peu s'habiller aussi.
on reviendra !!!

...che dire..? Splendida location, bellissimo il contesto, esterni stupendi. Gestione così così, all' ingresso in camera non funzionava nè il frigobar, nè la cassaforte, nè la Tv; la colazione si fa su tovaglie macchiate dalla cena della sera prima - e non è stato un caso, ma si è ripetuto per una settimana-. A parte questo, l' atmosfera che si respira è molto rilassante .

Hotel situato in zona tranquilla, curato nel giardino e negli spazi esterni ,buon servizio di ristorazione (con i soliti limiti….es: per tre giorni privi di ghiaccio) .Camere obsolete con muri sporchi, arredi fatiscenti, illuminazione da terzo mondo e l' insonorizzazione non pervenuta.

Me hospedei 4 noites na suite Exclusive e não me arrependi, a suite é incrível e a vista impressionante. A estrutura e acessibilidade do hotel são boas (mas exige carro). O staff é bem amigável e prestativo e o jantar foi bom. O café da manha poderia ser mais caprichado...
