Very nice. Very short walk to area south shops, restart … very nice breakfast with many options. Pool is large and the pool bar menu is actually really really good! Food was great. Rooms large and bright. We had a room w balcony on top. Amazing ocean view.

We spent a few days here for our honeymoon and loved every second of it. We had a stunning sea view from our room, walking distance to lots of bars and restaurants. Every staff member we came across were extremely friendly and were very helpful. Breakfast was delicious and the food in the restaurant was fantastic. Want a give huge shout out to Leo who worked at the bar, really took care of us and made us feel extremely welcome. Would 100% come back again and will recommend it to anyone who is thinking of going to Sicily. Alex & Sean

We had a Sea View Room with a stunning view, large room and large balcony. The staff was wonderful here- very friendly and hospitable. Leo at the Front Desk and Bartender as needed brought us so many laughs and great conversation. The hotel is within a short walking distance to some delicious restaurants in the area. The pool is huge and we loved having our time to relax there. The breakfast is plentiful and beautifully presented. I highly recommend.

Most hotels are not as beautiful as the pictures, but this room exceeds every picture we saw! Amazing view, amazing balcony, 2 rooms, free breakfast and 2 free glasses of wine and affordable shuttle to airport. Most beautiful room I’ve ever seen!

This hotel has beautiful balconies with views of the beach. The staff was very accommodating and held our bags and provided a shuttle to the beach as well. The breakfast was spectacular, lots of options, and fully stocked. The pool is nice, clean, well kept. We only stayed one night but wish it had been longer. We loved it here and highly recommend it.

A fantastic hotel! Great location on the sea front and a 5 minute walk into town. The hotel was lovely and clean, breakfast varied and comfortable beds, air con etc. Fab pool with jacuzzi and a great bar/cafe. The staff were outstanding - very friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Special mention to Isabelle and Daniella - they arranged some special trips for us and went over and above to make our stay so enjoyable. You can’t go wrong booking this hotel … & worth trying to get a room with a terrace!! Brilliant holiday

Lovely warm welcome by reception staff, room was ready and we quickly made use of the lovely pool and private daybeds. Pool bar staff were lovely and lunch was delicious and drinks were chilled. Great location a pleasant 10 minute walk into town, to a busy street of restaurants and late night shopping. Bed was very comfortable, room spotlessly clean and a great shower. Breakfast had a great variety, something for everyone.
Would highly recommend, wish we had longer to explore beach with the courtesy golf cart.

They have one of the most amazing breakfasts ever...and I travel a lot. I will be back as the area is really nice and very well located for Palermo and to discover the eastern part of Sicily.

Beautiful way to end a trip!

What a beautiful hotel! And the view! Our 2 night stay here was delightful. The staff was courteous and friendly. They were able to suggest restaurants at a 10% discount that we ultimately did not get. The 2 restaurants we went to gave a 2 euro and 50 cent discount respectively. We let the staff at the hotel know this. The restaurants, however, were worth not getting a discount. Breakfast was excellent, offering the perfect variety of foods. The gorgeous beach walkable. The hotel did offer shuttle service to and from the beach. Centro Storico was also in walking distance.

Hotel and staff were excellent except for three things: bed pillows were very hard and uncomfortable, air con in room barely functioned, it never got cool. Finally the lovely and generous breakfast buffet is slated to run from 7:30 to 10 am. Upon arriving for breakfast just after 9 am, the crew was busily cleaning up the buffet! Some items were missing and others were doubled up in the remaining service platters. The crew was noisily and hurriedly clearing off table pre-settings, making it hard for folks arriving after 9 am to find a table that was set up for breakfast. What a shame to make customers arriving On Time only to experience excessive clanging and shuffling of table settings and to feel rushed in getting breakfast and unable to find certain usual items. This was a shame for such a nice hotel. Management needs to keep the buffet open and Well-stocked until 10 am as advertised to customers. Let clean up start after 10 am, so customers are not inconvenienced by lack of selection and excessive noise. We felt rushed as were several other customers

The Punte Nord Est is a lovely hotel. The pool is great & the poolside bar offers good options for lunch. The rooms were very clean with a good view over the sea. The breakfast was excellent. It is a short walk to the town & the main beach is also well within walking distance, although the hotel runs a shuttle service.

Wonderful hotel with an excellent pool, staff, and location. The weather was very hot, our hike got shortened, and we relaxed poolside instead. This hotel was VERY nice for a 3 star hotel. I would absolutely recommend it. It’s about a ten minute walk into the town (a pleasant walk, not a hard one). They have a shuttle to the beach as well, which is very convenient. The room was spacious and clean and the view from the balcony (I had a superior room) couldn’t be beat!

Great hotel! Views amazing, staff very friendly and location good. Room with balcony are the rooms you want. You can walk to town, shuttle to sandy beach and eat lunch by pool. Pool was out of this world! Play room for kids of all ages and a hot tub with outstanding views. Breakfast was ok (selection could use upgrade but not bad). You can’t get to rocky beach from pool due to beach erosion and damage to stairs but ask staff how to get to dirt path. It’s worth the long hike down. Wear your sneakers, bring water shoes and plenty of water if you decide to adventure down. We took our two kids ages 7 and 12 and managed just fine. It is worth the long walk. Overall great hotel. We will definitely return and highly recommend.

Hotel Punta Nord-Est was a great choice for family holidays. Very clean, spacious and great views of the sea. The beach nearby was beautiful with nice restaurants and kids play. Unfortunately, my daughter became ill with symptoms of chickenpox she got from her nursery in the UK. The staff was great and very helpful. They arranged for us to see a doctor and helped with all other aspects during this time. Would definitely recommend and hope to go back again in the future.

We have stayed several times at this hotel and its sister property Al-Madarig and we have never been disappointed. As always, the pool was crystal clear, the common areas were well maintained, the choice at breakfast was outstanding and the service was friendly and helpful. This time there was table tennis added to the amenities, which made for a nice break between swimming and sunbathing. One minor niggle - the fresh coffee ran out every day well before breakfast ended, and the coffee from the vending machine was nowhere near as nice.

Overall, considering the price, this hotel represents staggering value for money. And Castellammare is a pearl of a town.

Pleasant large, older hotel. Our end room had a view of the town and side view of the sea. Hotel has an elevator and tunnel to a small beach at the base of the cliff. Enjoyed walking into town to eat. Visited Erice by driving from here and returning for another night. Very nice staff. Outstanding breakfast.

Booked for 7 nights but only stayed one as the location of the hotel on a busy road meant it was just too noisy for us.
Room was well maintained and comfortable although could have had a bit more storage for clothing
The hotel was fully booked and the reception staff were very helpful in trying to offer another room but we decided to seek an alternative accommodation

I would stay here again.

Liked: private beach, great staff (both clearing staff and front desk), large pool also good for kids, breakfast, easy walk to town. Near two public beaches. ~500m eastward public beach good.

The lowest floor sea-facing rooms face a provincial road which is noisy at all hours. Higher floors great. Mattresses could beer replaced soon.

The hotel was very comfortable and well positioned. The hotel amenities were great with a good size pool and very small but secluded private beach (although there were a lot of steps to climb to get to it. Generally we found the staff very efficient and helpful but not the friendliest. There was a good choice for the continental breakfast although due to the other guests it was quite a noisy experience. Our room had a blackout roller-shutter which was very useful for mid afternoon naps! The only two disappointing things was that our room was next to the stairwell which very noisy as people made there way to breakfast. The only minor issue was that we were charged for the use of the beach towels - which wasn't made clear to us until we checked out.

Hotel Nord-Est is an Oasis

We loved our two-night stay! The hotel has a very nice pool area with chairs for lounging and enjoying a spritz. Also, having access to the secret beach was AMAZING! The water is gorgeous and the views are spectacular. We walked down to the marina area for lunch and dinners, where we found great food and gelato. A nice buffet breakfast was included at the hotel.

Stunning view, comfortable room, incredible staff

We stayed at Punta for two nights while exploring Castellammare. Upon arrival, we were greeted by friendly and warm staff, especially Mary who was beyond accommodating. The room is moderately sized however the ocean views are absolutely breath taking. The hotel offers free parking and an incredible spread for breakfast which is also free (hard to believe) and is a 10 minute walk to restaurants and the marina. We will be back next year, thanks Mary!

The staff at this hotel were friendly, helpful, and a pleasure to speak to. The breakfast was good with a lot of choice, the food in the pool bar was excellent. The only thing that spoiled my stay was my room. It was small, dark and very disappointing. The bathroom was challenging, if I had been a tall person, goodness knows how you would get around in that room.

This hotel has excellent and attentive staff. It is also very attractive and well-fitted out inside despite the slightly box-like external appearance.
The breakfast is very good, and as my title indicates it is a great place to use as a base for a holiday. Town centre, which has some excellent restaurants, is a ten minute walk. At reception, there is good quality up-to-date information about trips to places such as Segesta and Erice and the staff are extremely helpful with coordinating these trips.
The pool area is clean and attractive. The only slight downside is that proximity to the road means there was quite a lot of traffic noise which was, at times, intrusive.
Overall, however, it was excellent.

But the locals treat the road out of the front like a race track especially on a Geiday and Saturday night. This is not the fault of the hotel, but it does impact on its residents.
Great hotel but take some ear plugs of you want a good nights sleep

The hotel was across the road from the sea. It had a private rocky beach which we didn't go down to because we prefer sand and people! The staff at the hotel were amazing - nothing was too much trouble. The pool and pool area were lovely and the rooms were spacious and clean. Air conditioning was in our rooms and easily controlled. The breakfast was outstanding - fabulous choice and it was all spread out so breakfast time was a calm and enjoyable experience. Lots of families there with small children and many couples, young and old.

Nice, quiet hotel between the harbour and beach.

A charming hotel placed high on a cliff-top between the town and beach. Facilities are basic but good, other than the pool which is excellent. The staff were all extremely helpful and we were made very welcome. The main beach is a ten-minute walk along a fairly busy road, but with lovely views over the sea. The town a ten-minute walk the other way, with the harbour area about 15-20minutes from the hotel. The hotel has a private beach, but it is rather small and looked fairly rocky - brilliant for exploring, but a bit \"rustic\" for us. Completely recommended.

Small,very clean hotel

Small,very clean hotel,good wifi,good choice of breakfast,close to beach,port and restaurants,but the weather was bad in this area ,different than in the other parts of Sicily,it was rainning for 2 days :(close to San Vito Lo Capo.

Fantastic hotel at a great price.

We chose this hotel after reading the great reviews. We were so happy that the reviews were right! We stayed for 12 days and hated leaving. The hotel was very clean, the staff was friendly and attentive. The breakfast choices were numerous. The view from our room on the 4th floor was fantastic. We had lunch at the pool snack bar and the food was delicious and inexpensive. Overall, on a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate the hotel a solid 10. Would definitely go back.
