The room had a very strange moldy smell, all of our clothes were damp, and there were lots of small flies. We even found two small reptiles inside the room. The staff were unfriendly and kept staring at us in a strange way, nothing like the warm welcome we received at other hotels in the area. The food was expired and in terrible condition. Honestly, this is the worst hotel we have ever stayed in, and we do not recommend it to anyone.
We checked out early because of the conditions of the room.

Absolutely do not stay if you have young children

Terrible communication from hotel beforehand - over 1 / 2 weeks to reply (if at all), refusing to email (no hotel email I could find).
Promised a cab from the airport (our expense) - have screenshots. Didn’t arrive, zero apology from the hotel.
No “Hello, welcome…” upon arrival, in fact not one single smile or hello in passing from a single female member of staff throughout. The male staff were fine.
They hate children. We had two under 3 (so a bulky double-stroller) and were put on the lowest level - had to navigate lots of narrow stairs in the dark with all our luggage, with a little help from the bellhop. Receptionist promised they’d move us first thing the next AM - of course they didn’t. No further help forthcoming when moving things up stairs - other guests kindly helped carry when they saw we were struggling & the staff were ignoring us.
For some reason they took away our electricity card twice whilst out - leaving us to wait for a replacement in the dark and slamming the phone down for us having the temerity to ask for the card back!
Air-conditioning (July) in one of our rooms never once worked. In the other room it couldn’t be adjusted/turned off. Safe didn’t work in one room. Didn’t feel comfortable bringing these things up with the staff due to their general attitude.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was very disappointed with the overall experience, especially considering how overpriced everything was. The room conditions were poor definitely not what you'd expect for the rates they charge. The air conditioning barely worked, making it hard to get a comfortable night's sleep.

To top it off, I was charged $15 just for an ice bucket, which felt completely unreasonable. The restaurant prices are also very high, and the breakfast, while included, was the exact same thing every day. If you want something as basic as orange juice, expect to pay extra.

The only real positive is that the hotel is close to the plaza, which is convenient. The staff was generally polite, but service could definitely be improved. Overall, I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it. For the price, you can find much better options with better service and facilities.

There was no gym even though it was advertised that there was a gym and no iron and not enough facilities. No free complimentary food in the room and no blanket. But it was cleaned every day and the location was good.

The location is fantastic and walkable. Unfortunately in the low season most of the shops in Porto cervo were closed . People should be aware of that if planning to go in low season

No coffee making facilities in room , the weather was very poor during our stay, meaning venturing outside the hotel was not a option Porta Cervo was what. I would class as closed, designer village closed for the total 4 day stay. However only a single bar which was empty and a single restaurant. Then there’s the cost , I can only describe as senseless, yes I know the area is expensive, however we could walk down the road and buy drinks at half the price. If the hotels price was sensible I am sure it would encourage guests to stay in the hotel and spend.

We used the restaurant once in the evening, all I can say Wes our food was good but cold, ended up swallowing down and not enjoying it as it was that cold. parking 30 euros a day, off peak, also a joke.

Yes I will go to Sardinia again, not in May, it’s all about the beaches, which high winds and clouds, rain most off the week, Sardinia has nothing else to eat.

Ps. We booked a superior room which was so small we could walk past each other and we are both small people , we questioned if we were in a superior room and told yes, superior simply means sea view and a very small terrace, however 5 mins later we we contacted by reception and moved to another room , yes slightly bigger with a small sofa bed in 1 room and our double bed in another, The terrace was also bigger. However it was still small in general as I think all the rooms are. I would say most travellodges in the UK offer more room.

Had the loveliest stay at this hotel (air con wasn’t happening and didn’t get sorted) but it was minor compared to how nice everything else was. Staff were absolutely great - hotel itself is spotless and the location was lovely. Would definitely go back.

From the very first moment I loved everything about this hotel: stylish, quirky, elegant, reflecting the local culture and ...the view! The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The rooms were spacious and cleaned every day to a very high standard. Even-though we stayed outside of season, which meant everything around was closed, it was overall a very pleasant experience and good value for the price we payed.

Perfect place to unwind

We really enjoyed staying at the hotel for 2 nights. The rooms with a view over the pool and into the bay are the best and well worth reserving. The pool is a very nice place to unwind. The bar and restaurant are also very good. If staying in Porto Cervo, this hotel is my favorite.

The hotel is in a nice location and our room had a great view on the port. However, the staff needs some serious improvement - the receptionist was rushing us to show the facility without too much of hello and welcome; and when we enter the bar, we were greeted with a look as if we were just another problem to handle before the waitress could leave.
The worst, though, was during breakfast. We came to the restaurant 45 min before the breakfast time was supposed to be over. After getting the food at the buffet and sitting down at the table, we still didn't have cutlery. My friend asked a waiter to provides us with some, and it took another 10 min to receive it. Another couple, who arrived after us (still with some 30 min to go until the end of the breakfast time), the waiter told it's closed and now they need to serve themselves (bring the cutlery, etc.).

Great location and view. You can walk to harbor and small beach. The staff upstairs were wonderful for evening drinks. Only complaint - no ice until the bar opens at 5. The beach bar wanted to charge us 10E for bucket of ice. The breakfast was not so good. Runny scrambled eggs and charged extra to order off of menu. I would definitely stay here again.

overall nice and clean - staff was extremely helpful - hotel is a very short walk to Porto Cervo for all the great restaurants/yacht views/shopping etc. Only negative was that they dont give out irons for saftey reasons and you have to use their laundry service if yo uneed something ironed.

In terms of location I guess it was a little isolated but still within good walking distance of local shops, restaurants and bars and with a superb view of the harbour (make sure you book a see view room:-) there are some beaches nearby (recommend Orange Resort beach) sunbeds will cost you between €25 - €40 so be prepared to cough up.

Amazing! Service, sea views, and LOCATION!!

I had an absolutely amazing stay at this hotel! The property is stunning, lovely pool on the cliff, gorgeous sea views from all rooms, impeccable service, and best location in town! 5 minute walk from the heart of Porto Cervo, and close to all restaurants / bars. The rooms are a bit outdated, but spacious enough, and the views are stunning. The rooms are charming, and the bathrooms are new and renovated. The price point is very reasonable, especially for the location and property itself. When I come back to Porto Cervo I will absolutely stay at this property again!

Beautiful Views of Porto Cevo. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and good as far as European breakfast goes. As for the area, if you like high end, celebrity, rich and famous, then this is for you. Very expensive to eat around the area. Something a bit more relaxed I'd suggest staying at Baia.
We ate at the restaurant one night and it was quite expensive €5 for a bottle of water, €5 to sit outside on the balcony where we ate breakfast for free everyday, the waiter didn't offer us any bread as they did with all the tables, a little disappointed.
You definitely need a car when staying in Sardinia and this hotel.

We were in Sardinia in late September, unusually wet weather, so we spent a lot of time in the hotel bar, which has lovely views and decent prices. The hotel itself is an interesting characterful building. Lucky for us, as 90% of Sardinian shops, restaurants and even supermarkets were closed in late September (contrary to loads of other sites recommendations of when to visit).

This is a good hotel. Their breakfast was richer compared to other hotels in the area. View of the marine is gorgeous. Sweeming pool is nice.

Avoid this Hotel unless you want your hols spoilt!

PLEASE AVOID! we had a very disappointing & stressful end to our holiday in sardinia due to this Hotel. It was twice any other hotel we'd stayed in and a star higher but the service & quality was shocking. Our room had been double booked so had to stay in another small room with no seaview & the hassel to get a refund was painful. Worst part was breakfast,there were never tables available and no food too. Suppose to be hot food but only ever cold scraps of bacon, cold omlettes & scrambled eggs which one day i had but had egg shells in it & they were left in cold metal trays with no heating mechanism, one day I tried the scrambled egg which had come out & it had egg shells in it! The very bare minimum was put out, few yoghurts, one bowl of fruit, half a dozen frozen & overbaked cold croissants. It truly was a misserable experience every day and so unlike our previous 3* hotels. Its certainly not true what they say in that you get what you pay for here, you get far less than you pay for. It was just so terrible from start to finish. We wish we'd never stayed it really did spoil our holiday and others as we saw so many people upset and complaining.

quiet porto cervo

slightly disappointed with this stay, most likely because we went out of season. Hotel was quiet and was understaffed, the pool bar was closed and breakfast was poorly organised. the whole of porto cervo was deserted and only a few shops and bars were open.

Hotel is nice. Good location, literally walking distance to the Porto Cervo center (300-400 meters) The standard rooms are extremely small. If you open your suitcase you have to jump over it. We had to upgrade to a junior suite which was ok. It is a nice hotel for 30 years ago. You pay a little more and stay in Petra Segrada which is a wonderful boutique hotel that is a world away from this hotel. We paid 300 Euros for this hotel Petra segrada was 400 Euros.
The staff is very nice and helpful. They spent a lot of time giving us advice about the island.The breakfast terrace has a very nice view. Parking is ok.

We had the impression that the room given to us was the worse possible available at this hotel, no sea wiev, from the window/balcony you see a huge wall and if you look up you could see a bit of sky. The televison is a very old 14 inches that you could not shift at a bootsale,not even for free, and there are no decent channels available anyway.
The car park is not secluded, actually is on the other side of a busy road.
But the hotel location is great, the atmosphere very good, the reception is first class, and you enjoy a stunning breakfast area with great views.
All in all we were pleased at the end.
So we were given the worst possible room, but pefect for a good night sleep and if the weather is good this is all you need, and we were happy at the end considering the price we paid.
We only wish that Expedia could be more accurate in future and not promise things that are not going to be there, and we wish that hotels, with lots of rooms available like this one was at the time, will treat Expedia customers with a room with a better view rather than a wall.

For the views alone, this is the hotel to choose...

From the moment you walk through the doors to this charming hotel, the friendly staff are there to do everything they can to make your stay as comfortable as possible. My mother and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Our room was cosy, spotlessly clean and well maintained; the decor was delightfully Sardinian. Our view was incredible, especially at sunsets. The restaurant was excellent and such professional service; well the Manager had worked at The Savoy in London. The food was delicious and plentiful and the views from the Terrace of the Marina and the mountains in the distance was the perfect back drop. Busy during the day with all the yachts and boats coming and going below, but in the evening romantic because of the pink sunsets over the mountainous landscape. There was ample space to relax in the lounges and bar terrace, and we loved the charm of the interior design which was both rustic and sophisticated. Down by the pool we had a Pool Bar which offered refreshments and snacks throughout the day. There was also a Life Guard in attendance throughout the day. All in all for the area this hotel offers five star service at great prices;it certainly was as good as the five star hotel we had just left in Alghero! We would definitely revisit this lovely hotel.

premetto che vado in quella struttura da quando ero piccolo e molte persone tra cui in particolar modo il direttore Giorgio sono persone eccezionali e professionali. In piena estate alle 10:33, mi siedo al tavolo per fare colazione, vengo avvicinato dal cameriere avvisandomi che la colazione chiudeva alle 10:30, gli mostrai il display del telefono, indicava 10:34 e chiesi un po' di sflessibilita'; mi rispose da domani no!.
con anzia velocemente vado al buffet per prendere da mangiare perche gia' stavano toglievano il cibo per portarlo in cucina, una cliente mi disse \"ma gia' stanno togliendo da mangiare?! ma ad agosto, non si puo' chiudere alle 1030 ..\" io le risposi \"si, sono d'accordo \" ad un certo punto sono stato aggredito verbalmente dalla responsabile di sala nonostante fosse lontana dicendomi \"se volete mangiare, il ristorante apre alle 12, potete venire dopo\" scostumatamente intromettendosi tra uno scambio di opinioni tra clienti. Non contenta la responsabile di sala, mi disse parole di odio verso i meridionali e ammise di essere razzista. Tutto questo il 10 Agosto mentre un cliente è in vacanza ed è meridionale. Oltre a questo si aggiunge che la mattina alle 7:30 venivo svegliato dall'aspiravolere elettrica che usava i personale delle pulizia nei corridoi soprastanti. ciliegina sulla torta il penultimo giorno , ho saputo che hanno rubato un cliente (meridionale) nella camera della struttura.

Hotel extremamente bem localizado, vista linda pro porto, estrutura mais antiga.
Minha cama nao era casal, mas sim duas camas de solteiro juntas.
Box do banheiro nao tem suporte pra colocar shampoo, etc, ou seja, precisamos colocar tudo no chao.
Nao repuseram as coisas do banheiro todos os dias, so trocaram as toalhas quando jogamos no chao as usadas. Recepcionistas nao sao nada simpaticas. Os homens da recepçao sao, mas as mulheres não.
Estrutura do hotel seria 3-4 estrelas. Mas é um hotel bom.

Way overpriced for what it was, even at low season. It was very difficult to sleep due to noise from neighbor rooms and plumbing noises. We could hear the water running down the wall as if we slept near a waterfall. For a comfort room, the bed was pretty small as well.

A minha experiência no hotel foi incrível! Desde a gentileza na recepção.. restaurante, pessoal da limpeza.! Restaurante e o terraço com vista, onde pudemos relaxar, tomar um
drink no fim do dia.. Piscina linda,. A localização é perfeita, a uns 10 min da marina de Porto Cervo que é um charme.. Adorei a estadia, voltarei e recomendo!

Zimmer sind absolut renovierungsbedürftig (Schimmel & co) - sehr alte Ausstattung. Kein funktionierendes Telefon (mehrmals bei der Rezeption gemeldet, wurde ebenfalls nicht repariert). Service ist zu 90% schlecht (ohne Willen ein Problem zu lösen - Standardantworten) und unfreundlich - bis auf sehr wenige Ausnahmen. Das Schlimmste: Klimaanlage funktioniert nur 50% der Zeit (ab 1 Uhr nachts wird sie zentral abgeschalten bis 8 Uhr morgens) wodurch es nachts unerträglich heiß wird. Diese kann auch vom Zimmer aus nicht gesteuert werden, da das Gerät defekt war. Auch nach 5 Tagen und täglicher Erinnerung keine Reperatur. Minibar ist verschmutzt und unter den Betten sammeln sich dicke Staubschichten und Reste der Vorbewohner. Essen ist maßlos überteuert und wird lieblos serviert. Pool wird um 18.30 Uhr geschlossen und hat bereits ab 14.30 Uhr kein Essen mehr. Wir hatten insgesamt 4 Zimmer und die Probleme waren in allen vorhanden. Ein ausführliches Gespräch mit dem Manager führte zu nichts: wir mussten den vollen Preis bezahlen (bis auf 2 kleine Mittagessen um 100 Euro). Wir können nur dringend von diesem Hotel abraten.

Einziger Vorteil: gute Lage und schöne Aussicht - wird durch die Erfahrung leider getrübt. Schade, dass dieser schöne Ort durch so ein schlechtes Hotelmanagement kaputt gemacht wird.

Misfornøyd kunde.

Rommet var i nederste etg og det var kjellerlukt hele tiden. Kjøleanlegget bråket forferdelig. Termostat og viftehastighet var defekt . Kun av og på viket. Kjøleanlegget kunne ikke stå på om natten som igjen førte til at det ble veldig varmt om natten. Frokosten var middels. Brødet var flere dager gammelt. Alt for dyrt i forhold til standarden. En forlanger en del mere når en betaler så mye.

Una grande delusione

Arrivato in hotel in pochi secondi mi vengono dette moltissime informazioni orari e codici impossibili da ricordare, meglio consegnare un foglio con tutte le info. La stanza assegnata da vista giardino come prenotato era vista muro/strada, piccolissima e con forte odore di muffa, il condizionatore non funzionava. Dopo 3 richieste per fortuna mi è stata cambiata la stanza ma a fatica. La nuova stanza era migliore ma l’aria condizionata aveva sempre dei problemi. Colazione per un 4 stelle molto scadente e povera. Accoglienza generale molto scarsa. Non consigliato, forse sembra cambi gestione dalla prossima estate e quindi non badano più al cliente

Con il prezzo della camera, non c’é rapporto.
Posto auto 40€ al giorno...... all’arrivo nessuno per i bagagli.

Hôtel rétro mais très bien équipé

Hôtel au décor des années 80 style Camarguais. Vue port et chambre spacieuse. Hôtel très cosy et a proximité de la ville ou de ce que l’on peut appeler une ville qui semble avoir 15/20 ans d’age (sorte de village des -grandes- marques ;)
