Half the rooms are under renovation. The cost per night is absurd for the quality of the resort. When you get there, absent a rental car, you are nearly a prisoner. There Are less than 20 taxis on the area of the island. It is 50 euro to go three miles into puerto cervo where all the restaurants are. Getting back is nearly impossible at night after dinner. We so want 400 euro for a private driver for a couple of nights to go to dinner. Great restaurants except the one on property. The staff try but it is at best 4 star at a six star price. There are great restaurants in the area. White villa, Pedri gardens and confusion were amazing. All the food on the resort except breakfast was poor. The beach was an additional fee was dirty and had a Bangladesh person selling you trinkets every 3 min making r and r impossible. No shade to speak of. And no food service on the beach. Not worth the cost and hassle

Spotless. Cleanest hotel ever. Amazing service, quiet location. We loved our room. We already booked a deluxe room but received a further upgrade on arrival. We felt like we had the resort to ourselves. Poolside restaurants were great. The staff was amazing. The pool is fantastic. Just a few suggestions for improvement to earn 5 stars: 1). The pool was completed unheated and freezing. I know cold water plunge is the thing now but it was just not working for me. 2). Transportation. You must have a car here. The hotel info online was misleading. It says they had free shuttle to Porto Cervo but every time I asked about it the staff either didn’t know or they had very limited hours it was available. A 5 min taxi one way is about $30 euro. 3). The hotel didn’t own an iron so if you need to iron anything you have to plan ahead and send it to their laundry service.

The property is beautiful as is the location. Everyone was attentive and friendly. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. Special recognition to Melisa at the front desk who was great! Only negative is that the mattress is too hard.

We had a great time at the CPH Pevero. It was really perfect. The main pool is massive and pristine and hardly anyone around. It was so peaceful. Beach a quick 5 minute walk. Even the most basic food was unbelievable and the staff was so nice even though I couldn’t speak a word of Italian and was so embarrassed. My son loved it as well. We will be back for sure. Thank you.

Not worth the money at all

VERY expensive and just average quality for food, the charge 5€ for a bottle of water, 12€ for room service (yes, if you want something delivered, they charge extra and not tell you about it)

Breakfast was included, but they charge extra (?!?) for fresh juice, waffles, pancakes or eggs other than scrambled

Main restaurant, Zafferano, barely average, and a whopping 100+€ for the menu. You can get a Michellin menu on the island for less than that

Staff is friendly, but clearly understaffed, you can tell they are working lots of hours, same guy on the breakfast is on late dinner. Lots of management issues I was told

Asked for my welcome macarons, still waiting for an answer.

The rooms are nice and clean at least
Pools are very nice, the private beach is ok,a little sargassum, and I had to insist to be driven there (they told me to walk, it was over 35C)

They have a few shuttles to the center, but don’t provide anything more, any 5 minute ride costs around 30€ in a cab

Coffee capsules weren’t replaced everyday, when I asked about it, they wanted to charge extra (not even Nespresso)

Housekeeping would leave one mere bottle of water at night, we were in 2, if you want another one, they charge

Cost benefit not worth at all imo

Property is brilliant and well maintained. Pools, restaurants and grounds all splendid. Concierge was excellent. Rooms are small. We had a Superior room with an outstanding ocean view but it was tight for two people. I could not imagine a standard room. Everything off property - restaurants, shopping, etc is a €20_35 euro taxi fare each way. Nothing is within walking distance except the beach. There is a hotel shuttle but destination is Porto Cervo and schedule limited. Nice hotel but, totally lacking in Italianate charm. If you’re expecting Amalfi coast charm this is not your place.

Great option while enjoying Sardinia

Hotel is very good. Hotel is small and has a boutique feel, but the rooms are very small too. They keep the facilities very clean though. Location is great, beach ok. The pool is gorgeous.

Our stay was amazing! We enjoyed every bit of it. We really enjoyed the breakfast the food was 10/10. The view is amazing, especially the pool we had so much fun. Overall our trip was amazing and we will definitely come back again!

AMAZING! Loved this hotel so much. I am lucky enough to be able to travel to 5 star resorts. I booked this online so I was a bit nervous. My friend told me to stay at Casa Di Volpe, however the prices were exorbitant. I chose this hotel because it was cheaper than Volpe and I am so happy I did. Everything was amazing and top notch. Francesca was the best staff member there he is in charge of the gorgeous pool. We always talked to him and he gave us excellent advice. Would def stay there again. The housekeeping was the best I have ever had. Can't wait to go back

Incredibly nice and helpful staff, nice comfortable rooms (and air-conditioned!) with terraces overlooking the bay. The multi-layer pool built into the hillside provides lots of private spaces.

The property has a few little pools (layered on top of each other) which is nice. It’s a 5-8 minutes walk to the beach but they do have their own area when you get there. The front desk staff wasn’t the friendliest but they were ok.

Superb hotel with very friendly staff - in particular the 2 concierges, Federica and Michele we’re outstanding - nothing was ever too much trouble. We had a beautiful room on the 6th floor with panoramic views of the bay. The hotel facilities were excellent- 5 outside pools in immaculate condition. Would highly recommend

Beautifully landscaped hotel with great staff

The hotel itself is great, if somewhat pricey. The staff are great, they hit exactly the right balance between professional efficiency and friendliness. Breakfasts are perfect, fantastic choice and quality. We had two evening meals in the a la carte restaurant and weren't terribly impressed. Very expensive and the food wasn't memorable. We felt there could have been more in the way of extras, for instance, at night there was a half litre bottle of water provided in the room, to be shared between 2. No water was provided around the pool area. We thought the layout of the gardens and pools was superb. It was always possible to find somewhere a bit private. I thought the way the 5 pools, large and small, all link was very well planned. All this aside, I really wouldn't recommend the area. We were hugely disappointed with Porto Cervo, a manufactured resort appealing to those who only want to buy from designer shops and pay 15 euros for a glass of wine. We had envisioned spending evenings there but we only went once, that was enough. Oh, and a taxi to travel 2 kilometres was 20 Euro.

Great hotel, amazing location & views

We had a great stay at this Hotel, lovely room with balcony with amazing views overlooking the bay. Staff were all friendly & helpful. As well as the large pool there were a few more small ones with seating around but more secluded, great to relax and have a quiet read. Location was perfect for what we wanted, easy access to the beach and main port around 5 minutes drive away. One small negative was that there always seemed to be lots of wasps around at breakfast time whizzing past your head and on to your table, but won't let that stop us giving top rating for this hotel.

Beautiful hotel in lovely setting, would go back.

The hotel itself is lovely, set in the hills surrounded by trees and just a very short walk to the hotel's private beach where you have the use of the hotels own sun loungers, towels and umbrellas which are helpfully put out for you by the lifeguard (its the same at the pool too). Our room was on the 4th floor at the back of the hotel overlooking the 5 interconnecting pools, which are beautifully clear and clean. The room was clean and spacious, though somewhat lacking in storage space for clothes but we didn't really mind. The towels and sheets were changed every day. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly, all except the reception staff whom sometimes needed to be asked things 2 and 3 times. Otherwise it was lovely. Expensive (as with everything in Sardinia) but lovely. Would go back.

Relaxing and spacious hotel

Visited in early May. Hotel was very quiet which suited us. Pools are beautiful but not heated; hotel should heat pools as they weren't used by anyone. Hotel has lovely grounds but has little sporting facilities.. it would benefit from tennis courts and activity classes ( e.g. Yoga, Pilates). Deluxe room was tiny; much smaller than we anticipated. Little details could be improved( e.g. Tea spoons in rooms and proper hair dryers). Breakfast choices were excellent but dinner options/menu was below 5 star. Staff were excellent and attentive.

Quality Porto Cervo Hotel

The Hotel is first class with excellent facilities. We were received very well on arrival - our luggage was taken from us and sent to our room and we had a welcome drink on the terrace. We were also give a free upgrade to a room with a sea view. The room itself was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. It was serviced twice a day. The pool area is truly spectacular. The staff were all friendly and polite. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Nice but over-priced hotel

A lovely hotel with welcoming staff. My criticisms are the lack of an iron in the room (despite requesting, we were advised to use the laundry service, for which, presumably, there was a charge). The breakfast lounge is a haven for flies and wasps, which spoilt our experience. Taxis were expensive (don't expect the hotel staff to tell you if the restaurant that you, naively, booked a taxi for is only 40 yards down the road. Also they're not good at predicting the cost of a taxi- we were assured that the cost of a taxi to the airport would be 90 Euro max- it was 111 Euro in no traffic).

Long weekend away

I stayed in the classic room which was a good, pleasant spacious room, however the TV was surprisingly very small, to which they were accommodating to change to a larger screen. There is a night club during peak times to which they play very loud music till 4am, with no consideration to guests. This was very disturbing and annoying. Fortunately the manager changed my room the next day to the opposite side of the hotel,
The room service charge an extra 12 euros on top of anything ordered to the room, which is bit too high compared to other hotels.
There is absolutely nothing to do walking distance around the hotel, except a small beach. No cafes, restaurants (other than within the hotel) , shops, supermarkets are near the hotel. A car is a must. Taxis are very expensive and not very practical . That made it a bit boring and is a big shame. The best thing about the hotel was the pools and hotel grounds which were very pleasant. Generally a nice hotel and pretty location.

Resturant staff is terrible. They ignor you for as long as they can, then they are rude and very slow to deliver even a cocktail. Service at breakfast is the same, they need more staff at peak time. Food is just ok.

Affordable luxury hotel in porto cervo

Beautiful property with full amenities. Gorgeous views of the Sea. Pool area is really well done, with multiple pools and cute enclaves. Very convenient location to the restaurants as well as the port. Rooms are simple and clean, could have been slighter more luxurious for the price.

Friendliest staff ever

First time in Sardinia and had a great time thanks to one of the most helpful staff i've seen at a hotel in a long time. They managed everything for me from dinner reservations to car rentals to boat excursions to painstakingly providing directions when we were lost.

The hotel is also great. Spend the extra few dollars for a room with a sea view - it's totally worth waking up to it. Would definetly recommend this one.

Fantastico ma... spiaggia più brutta del mondo

Nulla da eccepire se ci soffermassimo solo sulla valutazione dell’albergo ma il giudizio va espresso sull’insieme del complesso e poiché viene citata e lodata la spiaggia, bisogna giudicare anche quest’ultima. La struttura è bellissima, pulita e ben tenuta e, come in tutti i 5 stelle, le camere vengono rifatte 2 volte al giorno e viene sempre lasciato un piccolo e apprezzato pensierino (acqua e cioccolatini). Un po’ scomoda la vasca rispetto alla doccia, numerosi gli appoggi in camera. Presente un discreto pacchetto Sky. La colazione è semplicemente superlativa; c’è di tutto e di più e il personale è pronto, cortese e disponibile. Stupende le 5 piscine collegate tra loro, tranne quella con vasca idromassaggio. Ed ora arriviamo alle note dolenti: la spiaggia. E’ la peggiore non solo della Sardegna ma del mondo. Piena di posidonia a riva - per i primi metri - e sull'arenile. L'odore emanato dalle alghe in putrefazione è nauseabondo. Si tratterà pure di un fenomeno naturale ma ci sarà pure un modo per renderla accettabile, visti i ricchi introiti della zona. E’ evidente che non è “colpa” della direzione dell’hotel, ma qualcosa va fatto. Sicuramente noi non torneremo ma ciò è dovuto solo alla orribile spiaggia.
