Very nice reasonable hotel to stay at 20 mins from beach in Foley. Older hotel with outside entrance doors but felt safe. Nice pool. Very clean pool. Off main road and quiet. It needs some updating in rooms and maintenance to certain things like plugs etc but overall nice. I would stay again.

I never leave reviews but felt the need to do so this time. Staff was helpful when we got back to our room and the tv would not work. The room worked for us since we were there for a baseball tournament but our room really needed a deep cleaning. They didn’t empty the trash or change out the towels the day before we were to leave. Also the towels were almost threadbare and need replacing. Continental breakfast was very minimal. We stayed here in 2020 and it has gone down drastically in the upkeep.
Glad we had a place to stay but will not choose to stay here in the future.

We did need to change rooms three times for different reasons out of our control- (1st-hot room/next the door would not open and had to get staff/3rd room ok. Beer bottle was frozen into the freezer and frosted al around it in one room so fridge would not work. The upside was the staff was accommodating, office girl was very apologetic due to all the issues we had. The outside of hotel looked good but the inside rooms were somewhat worn and old looking especially bathroom area and toilet rooms.

It wasn’t terrible. The bathtub was leaky and had water stain on the drain from the leak. The lamp shade should have been wiped, there were some questionable spots on it. Some of the towels were stained with dark spots. Cleaning staff could improve a notch or two. Those are the only complaints. Breakfast waffles were delicious. The a/c ran great, which in this summer heat, good a/c is a must. A great location. Friendly staff.

This hotel needs a major renovation or needs to be closed down. Infestation of bugs, dirty was cloth and towels, shower line dirty and the linen was very nasty. The manager on duty that night did get me another room but it was no better and she offered me a refund. I had no choice but to stay cause I wasn’t paying no $300-$400 for one night but never again will I stay here.

This place was fine, for what I paid for it. It was cheap. It was fine. But it was very much a low rent rendezvous sort of place. Someone was cooking their dinner on a camp stove outside their room when I got there. Nothing wrong with that, but not my normal experience at a hotel. I could tell that the place had been renovated not too long ago, by it also wasn’t done very well. The room had that musty cheap hotel at the beach smell when I got there. I’m not sure if it went away when I turned on the AC, or if my nose just got used to it. The mirror over the sink had a piece broken out of it. The sheets were clean and there were no bedbugs. The room seemed clean at first, but then I noticed brown liquid stains on the floor and walls just outside the bathroom. Ew. But I mentioned it at the front desk and they took care of it that day while I was out. But it indicates a certain lack of attention to detail when it comes to cleanliness.
I say all this, but it was fine. I slept well. It served its purpose. I kind of reminded me of cheap hotels I’ve stayed in in Mexico, India, and Nepal. I have a fondness for such places.
It was fine. Just know what you’re getting in to.

Overall, our stay was okay. The location was convenient—about a 15-minute drive to the beach—which was a plus for us. The staff was friendly and welcoming at check-in, and there is a pool on property (though we didn’t get a chance to use it).

That said, the room could definitely use some updating and a deeper clean. We found leftover disposable hangers in the room, and one of the beds had dirt on the sheets, which was disappointing. The breakfast was very basic—waffles, toast, bagels, cereal, and yogurt—and didn’t offer much variety.

One of the biggest issues we had was a cigarette smell coming through the AC vent at night, which made it a little uncomfortable when trying to sleep.

It wasn’t a terrible stay, but with a few improvements in cleanliness and upkeep, it could be much better.

We were there for my brothers funeral, we had 5 room reserved , our son and his wife ‘s room was on the opposite side of the building and left at 2:00 am because of the noise !
The bathroom had had a leak above the tub and looked like mold growing on it . Would we stay there again ? Maybe .

The electrict in the room had all been unpluged. The mini-frdge did not work. An average cleaned room. The breakfast at 830am had no coffe, orange juice, or pancake mix. The fining area was filthy as they have no one working that area. Got 1 lady but she didnt speak English. So sge went and woke somebody up who did. We would not reccomend this hotel. We will never stay here again.

This room was not one of those and to add there occupancy rate wasnt were an updated room wasnt available. I was exhausted when i arrived from driving 12 hours and passed out on the bed once i entered the room. I regretted not going back to the front desk

When we got to the hotel, they couldn’t find my reservation. I had actually booked the wrong day! But they were super nice and gave us a room anyway just like we had requested. It helped us out a ton. The room was fine, the beds were comfortable, the air was cold, shower was hot and clean. Tv worked well. Had a small fridge and a little dated microwave, but we didn’t use either. The only negative was there was a spot on the wall that looked like something had been built in and then moved and it was a little dirty with small footprints (obviously a child) had kicked off the wall onto the bed. Besides that we were very happy with the price we paid for the stay we got.

This is a tough review to write as I can tell that the management is striving to provide enjoyable and welcoming accommodations. However I am being as honest as possible. I understood that for the rate I paid ($47.16 out the door) it was not going to be the Ritz… The room that I got was bright and colorful, then a hard stop! The room had extremely limited toiletries (no soap), towels were onion skin thin, and some pillow cases were pretty yellow from use. The room seemed clean, as was the refrigerator, another hard stop. The toilet was disgusting as verified by the attached pictures. The TV setup provided NO instructions on how to make it work given the multiple remotes. IMHO this hotel has the beach vibe where families come and don’t care about anything (party time). If you’re a business traveler I urge you to reconsider. Some other details that could improve the appearance include changing the light switches and cover plates, as they have seen better days. Straighten out the bottom of the door and close the 1/4 inch gap or install a new door. The pool was very nice and is handicap accessible. The hotel has a 99 score from the health department but I think that deals with food handling. The majority of my reviews are pretty positive even under less than optimal conditions but this one is different… At check out the next day it took three (3) different people to print a receipt, which when reviewed after I left was blank… In closing the property has unlimited potential but...

Stayed at the “hotel” for 2 nights in early Aug 2025. Initially we were allocated unit 203. On entering the unit noticed around 20 flies on the curtains. Spent some time hunting them down. After departing and returning a few hours later, even more flies were prominent. Asked for a different room, which we were given.

The rooms are filthy, doors have dirt inside and the two rooms we were in had a strong musty smell. Cannot recommend this hotel.

I know you’ve got the beach close by but sometimes you just want to swim and cool off. Got clean towels each day only emptied trash once. Was an ok choice since most of time was spent not in the room.

Rooms smelled like smoke, sink was falling off the underside of the counter, continuously had to have the keys reprogrammed, toilet seal was broken so the toilet rocked, AC was inefficient so it was hot in the room regardless of temperature setting on the thermostat, had to listen to people running up and down the halls all night. Not at all what I would expect for the prices they were charging (over $200 per night)

I paid for the room twice, but the young man that checked me in was very nice and pleasant. Afterwards, it was poor service and conditions. The room had a musty smell, the linen was dirty, I went to Walmart and purchased linen. The shower water did not flow. The property needs a upgrade and cleaning. At 10am there was a knock at the door saying check out was at 11am. I thought that was very rude since I had another hour before check out. Would never stay there again.

This reservation was for my employee. He had to leave and check into another hotel because the room/hotel condition was so bad, he did not feel safe. There was a stain of a bloody hand print on a chair in his room, with blood still in the crease of the material. The bathroom mirror was cracked and the vanity had a poor repair. It appeared that something bad happened here and the hotel must not realize how bad the image is that they present to guests. Not acceptable at all.

I had it to be pay at property and the hotel took it upon themselves and charged my card anyway before I got there for 1 2nd when we walked into our room there was a big puddle of water which we used one of the white towels to clean it up and then it was completely black so that right there says the room wasn’t cleaned gross the shower door didn’t close all the way the closet stunk like musty body Oder. My husband then went downstairs and there was a sign saying sorry no more room. So, we went to Walmart and bought cleaning supplies and I cleaned the room and sanitized it before we unpacked and that’s even the bed it got sprayed with Lysol. The 2 remote controls for the tv one didn’t work and one didn’t have a back and the batteries kept falling out and half worked. The soda vending machine didn’t work at all the snack machine had 2 items in it plain ruffles and honey/peanut butter crackers and 1 washer & 1 dryer outside. Never again will I ever stay at this hotel/motel again the rating I give is 0 out of 5

The room was disgusting. Bed sheets had not been replaced, but the beds were made. There was hair from the previous guests in the shower and all over the bathroom counter. The yellow chair had grime built in the creases. The sink did not drain. They took our towels and swimsuits down off of the rail and, when we asked about them, we were told that it was against the rules so they locked them in a storage closet and laughed. The best part about the stay was the lady at the front desk when we checked in. At least she was kind during that interaction. There are also a ton of long term guests everywhere with personal items outside (chairs, clothes, coolers, grills), so our towels hanging on the rail to dry and being taken without anyone reaching out seems sketchy. We were also only given 3 towels for 5 people to stay. There were no other rooms available anywhere so we ended up having to stay. Overall, if i could give it negative stars, I would.

Cleaning team needs a refresher

Room lacked proud of maintenance and upkeep. Trash had remained of previous guest, room floor had not been mopped, not even spot mopped , has both area in front of night stands were sticky as in front of fridge. Also the advertised breakfast, feature more of the uncleanliness, coffee was not an option.
Could have been a good basic room, if only more focus on room recovery

Paid over $200 a night for a King bed, expected that it would be clean and comfortable.
Here’s what I encountered: 1. Towels and washcloths were damp and appeared used with dark smudges. The front desk promptly gave us clean replacements. 2. The Kleenex dispenser was dirty with numerous snot dried handprints. 3. The bathtub drain wouldn’t stay in an open position. I took a shower with a bottle cap from a bottled water lodged underneath it to hold it open. 4. There were dusty spider webs on the ceiling over the vanity lights along with a large spider. 5. The front door was filthy on the inside. 6. The ironing board cover had numerous dark spots on the bottom half. 7. There was a large empty space and there were three screws sticking out of the wall where an armoire had likely been at one point. The only place to hang clothing was on 2 extended hooks on the wall with several hangers provided. 8. The outside grounds were dirty with cigarette butts and litter.

The next day I spoke to the front desk about all the issues mentioned above and was asked if I wanted to check out and offered an apology. I promptly explained that I was seeking a resolution. I already knew there were no vacancies anywhere nearby. I was politely told that someone would come to the room and address these issues. Everything was taken care of except for the cobwebs and spider.

The bed was comfortable, the AC was cold, water pressure was good and the shower was hot. Staff were courteous and prompt.

Please don’t get rooms here the ac leaks outside of the room, the room is super dirty stains on walls, on towels, on bed linen and pillow cases, hair on the bathroom floor, bathroom dirty dirt on the toilet, room smell like cheap motel
Incense. I used a third party company so they would not refund me but it’s ok this review will help someone this place is poorly ran, the glass on the doors going into the hotel is dirty with spots not wiped this place is ran down don’t waste $100 like I did now I am driving 3 hours back home.

My room was on the second floor. It was spacious but there was a slight sent of smoke. AC was broken, had to be moved to a new room. Bathtubs were not cleans, the floors were not clean, one of the refrigerators did not work. Staff was nice tho

The only thing i like was the hospitality from the housekeepers and the front desk manager. What i didn't like was that the room wasn't bright enough to say they had 4 lamps and a vanity lamp. The shower water was hard to adjust for me. Its just not what i though it would be coming from the pictures i saw online, And the price we payed for staying. Thats why we checked out before our vacation was over. It looks totally different from what we got. Should have gotten an Airbnb from the get go. Ive stayed in several Days Inn and it never looked like this one.If you're looking for a one day stay or you just passing through Alabama thats the place to go only to lay your head down definitely not for a vacation stay.

The floors were wet, air conditioner didn’t work, TV didn’t work. There was sand in the bed & there was no shower curtain.

The room was not very clean at all. The towels that were given me daily had black marks all over them and were stained. After getting out of the shower and walking around, my feet were completely black on the bottoms. Ice machine did not work. Very noisy at night
