Breakfast was horrible all 3 days we were here.

1st day Breakfast:
Biscuits and slop gravy, with little specs of sausage in it. No bacon, eggs, sausage or "Full Breakfast" they advertised. Continental at best.
Juice machine was off. I had to ask why. They turned it on, but it gave me some nasty watered down residue that I dranked and had to spit out. They then had to clean it out and did a lot of steps to make it drinkable. Coffee was Cold or leftover

2nd day Breakfast:
Potatoes and something that looked like frozen chicken bites or nuggets. Batter was falling off from being previously frozen. No Eggs, bacon, sausage or the "Full Breakfast" they advertised. Coffee was cold or leftover

Went outside around 2:00am Monday morning to smoke, and the same overnight rep from Fri, Sat, Sun , who failed at making a "Full Breakfast" for guest 3days in a row was sitting down washing dishes and had already put out the Breakfast that starts at 6am. That's 4hrs it will be sitting there.

What got me was they have now combined the leftover Biscuits and Gravy from Sat morning with the Sun morning Potatoes and Chicken bites together to appear as though it is a "FULL Breakfast for Monday morning's guest. 😆 What a Joke.

I only booked with this hotel because of their pool and the so-called "Full Breakfast" included.
What a let down. 😠
Thank God there are a few restaurants nearby to go to.

Room was clean and recently updated. Smart tv but not hooked up to internet so it was inconvenient for trying to stream Netflix. Still being renovated so large dumpsters in the parking lot. No noise while we were there though. Jetted tub was nice after a long days drive.

Visiting family. Hotel was convenient to their location (4 miles). Restaurant had some worker absentees which slowed it down. The front desk staff was great! Very people oriented, always smiling. Even with the minor inconvenience with the restaurant, it was a great stay and will go back.

They raised the prices for the area because of all the contractors here working the storm. This property was not worth $197 a night. The hotel has a smell. The carpet is filthy. The bathroom in the room wasn’t the cleanest. The rags and towels need to be thrown away and replaced with new ones.

Better couches

Overall, the stay was really good and for the most part comfortable. Only a couple grips about the room...the couch was super uncomfortable. The back cushions didn't have any give as well as the arm rests. Also, there were no USB ports for multiple devices. Other than these, I'll give it a 9.3.

Don't make the same mistake I did

We chose this hotel due to the ratings here and a previous nice experience at a different Best Western. I did not realize they are franchised and this hotel was run down and completely unsatisfactory. There was a hair in the bed when we went to lay down the first night. The tissues and toilet paper in the bathroom was very cheap and thin. We were there for the holidays and were told that there would be no housekeeping or complimentary breakfast for two days of this our stay. We made a reservation over the phone for a rollaway bed and it was not mentioned that it would be an extra fee until we showed up for check in. The "gym" is a few dumbbells and a treadmill that was out of order. We sincerely regretted staying here and felt completely misled by the rating this hotel received here.

Overall, the property was nice. Breakfast was decent. We did have a few issues with cleanliness though. The floors were sticky when we got there, and the bathtub did not look clean the water in the tub did not drain well and the toilet seat was ready to fall off. These were quickly rectified though. A problem that was ongoing, for whatever reason, they did not want to give us toilet paper. Every day I had to go ask for a roll at the front desk.

The 1stbroom that I assigned had not been cleaned after the last guest. The desk clerk seemed genuinely shocked and embarrassed. The 2nd room had been cleaned but there was a decent amount of deferred maintenance overall. Tiles in the bathroom were cracked. It appeared that border tile had been removed from the bottom of the bathroom wall, but it had not been cleaned and painted. And the toilet sear was crooked, like it was off by about an inch.

Staffing was awesome during the check-in. They also matched the next night stay with what was offered through online due to miscommunication, otherwise, I would have had to go through online process. So as a customer, I was pleased. I also received a nice large room for the price I paid ($104.00) The only thing I didn’t like was the workout room. They only had a treadmill, dumbbells up to 50 Ibs, and a bench, the workout building was about 9X9 room. The parking area was also little too small. Otherwise, my two night stay was great. I didn’t do much exploring, but the area was centrally located to other activities and Fort Gordon within 5-7 mile radius.

We booked two rooms. When we entered the room(s) they smelled like mildew. Room two was the worst. Room one the toilet had “residue” left from the last tenet. I had to purchase cleaning products and gloves to clean it. The A/C would not work properly and so the room was always warm.

All this could have been overlooked if not for the fact that I saw TWO roaches in the bathroom which is two too many. Otherwise the staff was nice enough.

Not quite Average

The hotel was okay until we entered our room. It smelled of cigarettes and was very very humid. There was a big smear of bright pink nail polish dried onto the bathroom floor. Also, there was grey and white mold on the slats of the ac vent. My wife used a wash cloth to wipe most of it off. I took a picture of the nail polish and went to the front desk to show the "in Training" attendant Justin what we discovered. He noted it somewhere, so that we would not be held responsible. The bed was nice and the sheets seemed clean and fresh. I felt like the whole place needed a deep scrubbing. Breakfast was on par for the price point of the room. So, overall, it could have been better, but I have been to much worse.

Clean, quiet, easy access to elevator, and the pool looked nice and inviting (I didn't use it, but several other guests appeared to enjoy it whenever I was walking by).

No real negatives other than the AC was on 63 degrees when I checked in, so it was very cold in the room, but given an Augusta summer, this wasn't so bad.
