We showed up an hour after check in time and our room hadn’t been cleaned yet and wasn’t ready. We were offered another room but was warned beforehand that it “smells musty”. We were told it would be at least another hour until our room would be available. Temps were around 100 degrees and we had nowhere else to wait, so we ended up burning our one key cash just to get a room somewhere else. There are a lot of great reviews here, and it’s unfortunate that we can’t leave one. Hopefully our experience was a one off.
Chris
Having the courtyard was awesome ... let in some fresh air from both sides of the suite!

Don't book this place
The place was a disaster. The room had a foul odor, furniture was old and the bed was way too soft to be comfortable
Cory
For what it is and how affordable the pricing was we honestly enjoyed our stay, the rooms are gated off with doors that you have to have your access key to enter. Our stay was very quiet and we felt safe. The room was clean and all the appliances worked just fine, if you are looking for a basic clean place to stay this is it. The room had all your basic furniture and appliances, couch, tables, stove, microwave, and more also had cooking pans and dishes as well as utensils.
Tearges
Being 83 year old having to use a cane to walk, I felt I should have been given a room on the first floor, especially since the facility did not have an elevator. They didn't have accessible rooms also. Maybe they should have a ramp for disabled people. Fortunately for me there were some kind people staying a the hotel, who help me with my luggage
Catherine
Accommodations were large and the presentation of the place’s exterior was nice, but that’s where it ends. The unit was OLD and dirty. I question the housekeeping. The toilet had a dirty ring inside the bowl before I’d even used it. The carpet was buckled with tears. There were no amenities and I spent 2 nights and never saw management. There appeared to be MANY long term residents and it was apparent to me that the ratings online were OBVIOUSLY OVER RATED. I wouldn’t go back.

I love everything about Affordable Suits. You have a nice kitchen and living room. Mike P. Where I stay is a wonderful person and is always helpful.

Definitely affordable! But as always, you get what you pay for.
PROS
-Conveniently located
-Affordable
-Pleasant staff
-We didn't spend much time in the room during the day, so it was adequate for what we needed— a place to sleep.
CONS
-Front office not staffed 24/7. Our bathroom sink was clogged. It wasn't bad enough to need immediate attention, but there was no one to report this to in the office when we checked out. The remote to the bedroom also didn't work; again, not something that bothered us but it would've been nice to be able to let someone know.
-Cleaning not up to par. Room had a musty smell. A deep cleaning of the carpet and upholstery may help with this. Doors and sides of appliances could use a wipe down. Floors were sticky (possibly from cleaner that hadn't been diluted properly?) and carpet was stained. Sheets had stains.
-No utensils in the kitchen.
-While the room itself was nonsmoking, other guests smoke in the courtyard below. The area under the stairs seems to be a popular spot, so it's impossible to escape the smell.

Love it and plan to be a bit longer
Fonda
We liked the affordable suite that included a mini kitchen. The inner courtyard trees and porch veranda added character.
Rob
Great value, spacious rooms, great location, fantastic and helpful staff.
Anthony
A well priced respite
The room was fine for a place to sleep while on a long trip. I don't have any problem with the hotel aside from the fact that there were dirty dishes in the sink from whomever stayed there before us. If you're used to Hampton of Comfort Inns, this is not the stop for you. For the price, it's fine--a place to sleep.
Joel
Friendly, affordable, very spacious.

The place is a little dated but it’s clean and safe.

While we only stayed one night, the place was a bit dirty - stains on couch and pull out, dead fly on window sill, and, overall, seemed a bit rundown.
However, the staff was very responsive. Gave us more clean towels and sheets/pillows for pull out. The bed in bed room was comfortable. For the one night we needed, was ok, but would not stay there for an extended amount of time. Overall, was dirty.

The rental had cobwebs and dirty walls. While the kitchen and bathroom were clean, the remote was sticky and there were holes in the bedding.

The room was clean and spacious and with kitchen and laundry made our stay very enjoyable
Juanita
The price is worth the stay. It could use some deep cleaning. It wasn't dirty. Everything was good except the sleep sofa. When we opened it there were food and wrappers and it was dirty. I will be staying again. The good was way more than the bad.

Manager Mike was amazing. I left my keys in my room and he was available after midnight to make me a new set.
Theresa
It was fine for what we needed, which was a place to sleep for the night.

Stiinky room
The room was overall very clean. But the little German Cockroaches showed their faces too many times. The furniture was so old and worn I didn't even sit on the sofa. The outside door lock was broken so I had to go around to the front to even get inyo the building. The smell was the worst! It had the smell of a room that has had pets or smokers in it and they used a room spray to try to cover it up. All my clothes, and luggage smelled so bad when I got they went directly into the washing machine. The hotel has so much potential with all the space but it needs a huge update!
Frank
Worth it.
It was good. Great value for the price.
Lori
Nice place!
It was very clean. We got there past regular check-in time, but I contacted someone and was told where to get our key. We were headed down to Florida and just needed a clean place to lay our heads, and this fit the bill perfectly. Clean, no nonsense. Even had a kitchen, which we didn't need, but available nonetheless!
TANISHA
I like that the property is closed in where you have to have your card to get in. The floor in the room was not clean. looked as if it hadn't been swept in 2-3 days. The tub had strings of hair in it and also the bed. The cleaning of the room could have been better.
Antwan
I love it there

Notification frustration
Very difficult initially to get our late arrival considered by the property. Several phone messages later in the day, we received a return call telling us the procedure for late arrival. Very frustrating though during a 3-hour wait while on the road and not knowing what to do.
Jasminda
I needed a quick place to sleep. They open at 8am. I was traveling and got there early and the front desk staff allowed me to check in early which was nice. It’s a furnished room, it’s clean. No frills just a room
ROBERT
there was no staff for the evening and overnight hours. The bed had no blanket, just a sheet and a paper-thin coverlet. I was unable to contact any staff to get a blanket so I spent a cold, uncomfortable night. The room phone had no directions on how to operate it so, even thought it was blinking when we entered, we could never figure out what the message might have been. When we arrived, in the pouring rain. there was nobody to check in with. Our keys were left in an unsecured box that anybody had access to. We got soaked getting to our 2nd floor room and there was no elevator nor baggage carts to transport our baggage to the room. When we left the last morning, during office hours, the office was locked. My wife's keycard stopped working at one point and she was locked out of the building (and she did not have a phone to call me).
Brandon
Another great stay, no issues!
Suzanne
Pefect for our needs on a nearly two week stay!
Ryan
We got in late the staff had the keys set aside for us to pick up. Room was very nice and clean

Very nice great value safe location nice set up nice bathroom. My only issue was two pillows per bed . I rent two beds at hotels due to needing extra pillows. Normally there are at least 3 per queen bed. When I stayed 2 months ago the manager gave me extra pillows but considering it was Sunday when I checked in and the staff needs at least one day off.
Adrienne
Definitely recommend!
Adrienne
Great Staff. Definitely recommend for long stays.

Property was conveniently located, and we felt safe there. The suite had needed appliances but was not cleaned properly. Stove top had food residue and bathroom floors had not been swept or cleaned. Room could use a deep clean. Overall, would stay again as price was good.
Christine
Michael, the general manager was excellent. Nothing was a problem for him.
We left our luggage with him because we needed to drop it off early and he accepted it all and transferred it to our room without any issues.
He was so helpful when we need a cork screw and showed us how to use the laundry facilities. He made our stay effortless.
Thank you Michael

Terribly dirty. Stayed for the masters. It was quiet and in a decent spot. Bathroom and room was gross.

Had potential
Thank you to Michael. Made me feel welcomed.
Unfortunately, my stay was not what I had expected it to be. The walls are either fairly thin or my upstairs neighbors were just extremely loud. Someone was playing with the dog at random times during the night. Woke me up at 02:39 am, 3:00 am. Next day at 1 something a.m.
The place was spacious and well designed just a bit outdated.

Absolutely the best value anywhere! Immaculate! Courtyard on lower level, and patios on upper level, with tables and chairs. Full size refrig and stove with oven. Separate living/dining area and bedroom. Amazing price!

Manager very friendly and professional

Clean and quiet
Can't beat it for the price. Everything looked clean. Hall floor from Bathroom to Kitchen was sticky. Everything else was good and it was a nice quiet stay.

Would stay again
We found the property to be a great place to stay as we went through Augusta. It is pretty basic but reasonably comfortable and the staff we met was wonderful.
The only real complaint we had was the limited dinnerware and cookware. For example, no spatula for making eggs, only one ceramic coffee cup, no sharp knives, etc. this was important as we are on the road with restrictive food allergies. Being forewarned we’d plan accordingly. It was a bit noisy on the first floor (lots of thumping above) so I would request second floor next time.
We would book again going through Augusta. We felt the property was an excellent value for the money.

This was my second time staying here. I come to Augusta for bowling tournaments and the beds here are amazing. Rooms are great. Always clean and quiet. Ronald, the gm, is AMAZING and very nice! Will continue to stay here when I'm in town!

Over all good.
We enjoyed the stay. Everything was clean except for the kitchenette area. It did need some attention and deep cleaning. But we didn't have to use it. And unfortunately, the beds were terrible to us. Too hard for me. But it did serve its purpose.
