Needs some updating. Wonderful staff.

The hotel gem is their staff, specially the reception desk. Staff like Andrea made sure that I was as comfortable as possible.
The roooms need some TLC. My room specifically had a particular smell that I could only compare to high humidity. The AC was not too powerful so at night clothing interfere with comfort. The hotel hallway rugs need replacement they look old and generate an unpleasant smell.
The hotel location is superb. Right in the heart of downtown Torre Del Mar and in front of many restaurants. The rooms are spacious and some have balconies. Most of the rooms are no ocean view.
This hotel just needs to be brought to present days’ needs. I would stay again, but I would a request pleasant smell room. I

No AC in the spring, good price and good service

The AC is not on in the spring and the hotel faces a busy street so windows open on a hot night very noisy and full of mosquitoes. We did not get any sleep that night. The following day the staff was super nice. We change rooms to a less noisy area but the AC couldn’t be connected in 24hours. They were nice about it but if you need to sleep in a cool room. This hotel might not be for you if you plan to visitin the spring

Comfortable, accessible hotel

As I was in a wheelchair I was a little concerned about access in the hotel and bedroom but I need not have worried. Apart from a tiny step into the lobby everywhere was flat. The coridor, bedroom and bathroom were spacious with the latter equiped with grab rails at the toilet and seating in the shower.
The bar area was spacious but because of the limited tables for covid looked somewhat characterless. The cost of drinks was surprisingly cheap.
The seafront was only about 50 meters away with numerous bars and restaurants

Great hotel in Torre Del Mar

Torremar Hotel is situated in a pedestrian street in the town centre. Many shops, cafes and restaurants directly outside the hotel.

Beach is a couple of minutes’ walk.

Large, cool foyer with helpful, friendly reception staff. Room on third floor was compact, clean with bath and shower and good air con.

Breakfast was fine with selection of hot and cold buffet dishes.

This is a great hotel if you’re visiting the area. Ideal if you want a town centre hotel within easy reach of all the amenities.

7 Nights in Uncomfortable. noisy room

We booked a double room with balcony for 7 nights. The room was very basic with only one chair despite the fact there were two adults. The room was right over reception, next to the lift facing on to the street and was very very noisy. The balcony was tiny with small plastic chairs and table, nothing like the balcony's shown on the web site. I suspect that rooms booked direct with get preferential treatment as opposed to those booked through Hotel.com. This is not the first time I have seen this occur.

Está cerca de la playa, aunque no puede verse. Es muy céntrico y puedes ir andando a cualquier lugar. Aunque tiene parking privado en el sótano del hotel, no tiene un espacio para dejar el coche un momento y descargar o recoger a los pasajeros, no tiene posibilidad de vado de carga y descarga.

Für unsere Bedürfnisse ist das Hotel gut, wir waren mindestens 5 mal dort.
Was uns immer wieder fehlte, war ein Wäscheständer o. ä. auf der Terrasse.
Ein Wasserkocher sowie Vergrößerungsspiegel
(Im Bad) und Garderobenhaken im Gang hinter der Tür wären wünschenswert.
Die Aufhängevorrichtung im Schrank ist sehr hoch angebracht. Es gibt nur Bügel, die man
In dem Schrank verwenden kann.
Leider gibt es nach wie vor in dem von uns belegten Zimmer eine Geruchsbelästigung, deren Ursache offensichtlich noch nicht gefunden wurde. (Duftstecker inzwischen vorhanden, aber unzureichend!)

Loved how clean it looked! The hotel was very close to the beach which was great and the breakfast was very good. Although I would not recommend their shuttlebus service because there was allot of miscommunication with the taxi company about payment. Besides that I had a great time and it was a amazing hotel for my vacation.
