The location and views are great and the service was very friendly. The condition of the hotel is good but the decorations are a bit dated. It is all inclusive so the food is good, not great. It is worth the price but the property would be excellent with a small facelift.

We were a bit disappointed on arrival with the dated look of the property and the quality of the rooms. However we had a great family break, the staff were excellent throughout, the food and drinks were good (not great, but good), and the location was incredible. It does really need investment to update the facilities, and would then be a fantastic resort.

Terrible rip off!

Filthy room, halls, etc. AC not working well. Old, dilapidated, and infested with bed bugs. They denied bugs. I showed them pics and video. They denied they were bed bugs, so i brought them one in a napkin. Then they asked to move us to a sister property. I agreed, but then they reneged, claiming they had no rooms left. But they were advertising rooms on line. When I showed them the add, they claimed that was a mistake. They refused to refund our money. They offered to clean our room and clothes, but expected us to stay there and claimed we were not entitled to a refund as it wasn't their fault we didn't want to stay in a bed bug infested hotel. They didn't even communicate with us for hours after we reported the bugs. Only after we filed a complaint did the manager even agree to speak with us, an d he only offered to clean our room. They sent a maid with clean sheets! Disgusting! Completely unacceptable! And they were horribly arrogant through the entire ordeal. Stay away! Stay far away!

Korumar is a beautiful resort with such a spectacular view over the sea . We enjoyed gorgeous sunsets from the balcony .
Korumar is a walkable distance from the Kusadasi center and 25 -30 min driving distance from Ephesus ? The hotel could easily arrange the taxi ride to Ephesis

It is hard to know where to start. We were two females travelling in single rooms. We had asked for quiet rooms and were allocated garden rooms that were besides a busy road. They also had a smell of drains and we asked to change. The other garden rooms were similar and they agreed to put us in seafront rooms after much negotiation to avoid an extra charge. The reception is dingy and unwelcoming, English is not easily understood and it appears it is run by a family who live or are constantly in the public areas. These were all men and made us feel quite uncomfortable. We were unable to sleep in the seafront rooms as the Reception/public area above had noise from people and furniture moving until the early hours. The bar had very few choices of drink as did the restaurant with food. We were told a number of the items get ordered in from the local town. That would take time and was not convenient. We left after one night after highlighing issues with hotel and Expedia. Both have refused to refund the last two nights we had paid for. We were so unhappy we took this risk of leaving with accom paid as it was so unacceptable. Shame on Expedia and hotel!

Overall, this is a nice place, but it may surprise people who are used to cushy hotels.

It seems the Korumar is designed to suit Germans. There were Germans everywhere. It's set up for orderly tourists who don't mind Spartan facilities and like to have things planned.

Our standard double room was half the size of our rooms in Istanbul. The \"double bed\" was two twin beds jammed together. There was only one sheet on the bed, and the spread was a small cotton blanket with holes woven into it. My wife was aghast and demanded two more blankets.

The hotel had one soap dispenser on the wall by the sink, and there was another on the shower wall. Our dispenser was empty, and it also fell off the wall, but the Korumar sent help immediately when we reported it.

The buffet food was institutional, like the food in a college dining hall in America.

The dinner items were acceptable; they kept us alive. The desserts were better than everything else. The impression I got was that budget-minded Germans went to the hotel for food that was inexpensive and abundant, and they weren't concerned about the taste.

At night, we heard drunks talking and laughing loudly on nearby balconies.

The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. If you need local information, they will provide it with a smile.

If you don't mind a little austerity and food that may remind you of your military service, the Korumar will make you happy, as I was. My wife, however, says she will never go back.

Very Disappointing

Christmas 2019 was fabulous but this year was a huge disappointment.
Food was disgusting, no gala dinner on Christmas Eve, restaurant was always very cold, menu was repetitive, menu was uninspiring. Food and plates were always cold, bugets have most certainly been cut as standards have fallen.

The hotel was okay and in a nice location if you were wanting to use it as an all inclusive vacation, but if you were using it as a place to see the city from it is a bit out of the way of everything else. The blankets were also very scratchy and the air conditioning did not work.

VERY misleading and irresponsible

I really have no idea why this property claims it is 5 star quality. The rooms are not only dated, but worn and represent a 3 star hotel, at best. The pictures advertised on the hotels.com profile are very misleading and make the property look newer, cleaner, and nicer than it is.
The bedding in the rooms is thin and scratchy and the sliding door to our balcony would not lock. The air conditioning in the room was a complete joke and even after the hotel staff “fixed” it, we had our own personal hamam. Breakfast was okay. Some dishes were good but others were very bad — this isn’t based on personal preference but a criticism of simple dishes like scrambled eggs (should be an easy and delicious dish but they were repulsive). Again, not what one would expect from a “5 star” hotel.
At one point in my stay I went down an alternate elevator trying to get to the dining room and I misunderstood and thought it was on level 1. When I got off the elevator I was on a floor with hotel rooms, so I was going to walk down the hallway to the main stairs to head to the lobby. While doing so, I saw a sign that said “quarantine floor” and found it VERY alarming that the hotel staff did not warn us NOT to go to the first floor. I am unsure of whether or not any guests were being quarantined at the time, but I found it very irresponsible during a pandemic to make it possible for guests to be potentially exposed to sick people.

Fantastic setting but service let it down

Decent hotel. Fantastic cliff top views and sea pontoon is exquisite. Beautiful setting. Pool ok. Buffet dinner was good but was pricey for Turkey. Staff were rude in general. There is nowhere to get food between 3 and 7 except for room service which was very frustrating when we arrived at 3.30 for check in.

Goed: er was parkeerservice, hulp met bagage, inchecken ging gemakkelijk, geweldig uitzicht, veel bedjes om te liggen bij het zwembad (niet rennen om 7 uur voor je handdoek), sefir restaurant is een echte aanrader (geweldig eten en top service voor €10 p.p.
Het eten in de buffetzaal was iedere dag verschillend maar wel kwalitatief goed, voor ieder wat wils en wisselend.

Slecht: schoonmaak was vaak tot 15:00 uur bezig (betekend lang wachten op je kamer), minibar is maar 2x bijgevuld, personeel was wat afstandelijk (behalve de ober bij sefir restaurant). Ook eet je in de avond buiten, liepen er agressieve katten die je dan ook kunnen aanvallen als je vis op je bord hebt (werd niks mee gedaan).
De bedden waren keihard en ook zat er geen slot op onze voor- en achterdeur en hadden wij wel wat geluidsoverlast van de drukke weg voor het hotel (landzicht).

Gasten waren voornamelijk turks en duits. Niet veel nederlanders (vonden wij niet erg)

Girişde ve çıkışta resepsiyondaki arkadaşlar çok kibarlardı. Otel zamnının en güzel otellerinden ama bir tadilatı hak ediyor. Havuz çok güzel ve temiz. Yer bulmak biraz zor. Şezlonglar sabahın ilk ışıklarında doluyor. Tek hoşuma gitmeyen konu plaj bölümü. Deniz derin sığ bölgedeki taşlar denize girecekler için mücadele istiyor. Denizin taşlık ve derin olması bir dahaki konaklama için beni düşündürdü. Kahvaltı öğleyemeği ve akşam yemeği açık büfe olmasına karşılık süper. Hatta şöyle söyleyim japon mutfağının efsane lezzeti sushi yapan bir şef bile var. Tebrik ederim harikaydı. Masalara su bırakmıyorlar. Bu bi eksi. İçecek servisini garsonlar yapıyor. Buda servisi geciktiriyor. İçecek için park barlar yapılsa ve misafirler buradan destek alsa çok daha güzel ve hızlı olur. Denize önem vermiyorsanız konaklama için çok güzel kaliteli bir otel. Gece animasyon da var mutlaka katılın akşam 21:30 da başlıyor. Personele herşey için teşekkürler.

Keyifl bir tatildi.

Çalışanların hepsi çok nazik ve yardımseverdi. Her türlü destek talebimizde ellerinden geldiğince destek oldular. Odalar genel olarak temizdi. Bizim kaldığımız dönem otelin sakin olduğu bir dönem olduğu için ortak alanlarda zaman zaman çok temiz olmadığı dönemlere denk geldik, ama farkettiklerinde de hızlıca temizliyorlardı. Genel olarak otelden çok memnun kaldık. Yaz için denize ulaşım biraz çetrefilli gibi gözüküyor. Biz deniz döneminde gelmediğimiz için o da çok etkilemedi.

Korumar oteli inanılmaz bir deniz ve koyun hemen dibinde konumlanmış bir otel. bir zamanların efsane otellerinden birisi ama artık elden geçmesi gerekiyor. Tahmin ediyorum her şey dahil konsepti ile müşterileri mutlu etmek adına kaliteden biraz ödün vermişler. bu efsane oteli bu şekilde görmek üzüntü verici. ama yinede otelin konumu, denizi o minik koyu inanılmaz sırf bunlar için bile bu otele gidilir. bizimki bir günlük bir deneyimdi. kısa zamanda yanlış yorumlamış olabiliriz, otelcilik ve restorancılık ciddi bir emek işi, kimsenin emeğini kötülemek istemeyiz

Das Hotel an sich war schön, die Zimmer waren sehr alt eingerichtet, müssten renoviert werden. Essens Auswahl war gering und nicht sonderlich schmackhaft. Es gibt keinen Strand abschnitt da dass Hotel an einer klippe aufgebaut ist.

Wir fanden das Hotel wunderbar. Das essen, die Mitarbeiter, das Meer die Freizeitaktivitäten, der Pool, die Shows und die Bars waren super. Wir waren nur 5 Tage dort aber haben uns fest vorgenommenen wieder hinzufahren. Es war ein gelungener Urlaub. Die Auswahl an Speisen im Restaurant ist sehr groß und die Mitarbeiter sehr zuvorkommend und immer freundlich. Allein schon die Lage des Hotels war ein Traum. Für uns gibt es nichts auszusetzten.
