The hotel staff was very helpful to include transportation to/from the events in old town Pamplona and to the airport via an on site shuttle or help with calling a taxi.

The room was clean, largely well equipped, and the bed comfortable enough. There was however no tea kettle/coffee maker in the room nor any tea/coffee available on site prior to 8am. This is highly unusual and inconvenient to early risers.

Parking was on site but very tight. Luckily we didn't need to move our car throughout our stay. The hotel location appeared to be in a safe area and was within a few miles of old town Pamplona. The hotel shuttle was convenient for early morning bull run activities and public transportation was very close by.

All in all this was a wonderful hotel to stay at for our Pamplona experience. I do think the lack of coffee/tea service in room/on site/no room service prior to 8am could be improved upon.

The property has a very nice lobby with marble floors and walls.
The room was small and outdated.
I was overcharged and the hotel did not honor the price that was quoted by Experian. I am starting to see a trend with this practice. Through out my vacation. Going with Experian was way costly at the end as none of the providers honored the agreements.

We staid at this hotel during San Fermin's week. Price was very reasonable for the comfort offered considering the timing of our stay. The hotel is located about 25 minutes walking distance from the old town; however there is a bus that runs in front of the hotel that gets you at the edge of the old town. There is lot of pay street parking available around the hotel and if you are unlucky finding a spot, the hotel offers its own parking for just few more euros than the street cost.

We stayed during the San Fermin festival. Although the city center was an absolute mess and very chaotic; Hotel Albret was very clean. The staff was nice, helpful and spoke English well. They were very busy given the festival, but still took care of people in an efficient manner. Overall it was a nice stay.

It was great!! I would definitely stay here again . . . a very comfortable, clean room. A 25-minute walk from the city center but a bus stop only a 1-minute walk from the hotel. Although a bit obstructed, one could actually see the nightly fireworks for the San Fermines celebration from the hotel.

The hotel is okay without being outstanding, a long walk from the city centre. We were there during San Fermin festival, and one night tried to eat at the restaurant but the staff were far too invoked chatting with people at the bar to serve us, after half an hour left to go elsewhere.

The Hotel Albert is located far enough away from the center of town as to be able to enjoy a respite from the mayhem associated with the festivities of San Fermin min. The rooms were clean and the staff was extremely responsive to our needs. The Hotel's cafe served an assortment of reasonably-priced tapas. When I return to Pamplona, I would definitely stay at the Hotel Albert again.

Surpassed my expectations

We came to Hotel Albret to begin our visit to Pamplona during the Running of the Bulls Fiesta. We stayed one night. While the hotel was not in the middle of town, it was a 30 minute walk or so. But, it was half the price of the hotel closer into town. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. The room was clean. They did not charge for the rollaway bed, which so many hotels do. I wish I would have known, I would have stayed there the whole time. A very pleasant surprise.

Best hotel in Mandelbaldea, Pamplona; staff issue.

I have been coming to Mandelbaldea every year for four years. The hotel desk staff does its best for me, and I found one person (Mr. Lopez) who speaks good English. When I give the staff a \"3\" rating I am not referring to the hotel desk staff, only the restaurant staff. The hotel itself is the best there is in the area, and I have been coming to the Albret restaurant because the food is better than the alternatives. I have eaten a dozen meals at the restaurant, at different times of day. The other main hotel in the area does not offer food and I was glad during the rain not to have to go out of the hotel. There are two choices in the Albret for breakfast - the restaurant and a 10-euro buffet in the lower floor. I have tried both. The breakfast buffet that I sampled was excellent and the atmosphere was good. The restaurant is less expensive than the buffet, but also less enjoyable, not so welcoming to international travelers: It is noisy with the clatter of dishes, the staff is distracted and resentful, and - most memorable - one Sunday at lunchtime on a rainy day I was turned away because the restaurant was \"full\", yet there were seats open and I was not invited to sit in the bar area. I had to come back at 3 pm when the restaurant was nearly empty. This was a uniquely alienating experience for me as an international traveler for six decades.

Good location for running with the bulls

We have stayed at this hotel on 3 different occasions when my husband has gone to run with the bulls. It is in a convenient location close enough to walk to the Plaza Costillo or Bull ring but also an inexpensive cab ride (8Euros) back. It is far enough away that you will not be bothered by all the rowdiness of the crowds. They have a restaurant but will also direct you to some other restaurants in that area or in the Plaza Costillo area, depending on your preference. They do offer paid parking but the spaces are quite narrow.

The hotel was very clean, comfortable and welcoming. There is parking in the hotel at a surcharge or there is parking outside which is also charged, but as it was a weekend when we stayed, it was free. It's a pleasant 20 minute walk into the old part of Pamplona, or there is a bus that goes in. There is a bar/cafe with a selection of tapas which was ideal for us when we arrived and in the morning we had coffee and a croissant which was well priced at about €5-6 for two which was enough as a full breakfast buffet is extra. Overall hard to fault, just that for some the 20 min walk might be a stretch.

Very good value for the money. The bathroom was beautiful and the hotel staff was extremely help (with parking and dinner reservations). Very nice for a room which cost ~$100 per night (which included an extra bed for our daughter). It had inexpensive parking (in a town where there is very little available on street parking) too and the bus line to the old town in Pamplona was very convenient.

Not an accurate description--for Hotle Albret

The hotel is very nice--everything was wonderful and as stated in description EXCEPT NO COFFEE POT. All the other amenities pale in my mind since this was an important item for us. The hotel said they NEVER had coffee pots in the room and were at a loss to understand why any listing of their amenities would include it.

Another great stay

This an excellent hotel. Everthing was clean and the staff was very friendly. This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. I love the location because it is quiet and away from the partying in the old city. When I was done partying for the night, I was able to go back to my room and rest peacefully everynight. In the morning I would get up early to run with the bulls. The bus stop is only 100 meters away from the hotel making it very easy to enjoy the San Fermin festival. I highly recommend this hotel.

buenos días la experiencia ha sido muy buena pero deberían mejorar en el baño la accesibilidad los tornillos que sujetan la barra abatible tienen que ser más grandes tipo tornillo barraquero y la silla de la ducha yo le daría unas vueltas haber si se puede poner algo más seguro para mi es un poco endeble y queda un poco alejada si quieres coger la alcachofa de la ducha pero es humilde opinion otra cosa que cambiaría es el acceso del parking es bastante difícil y más si vas solo debería poder abrirse con una foto cédula es fácil rebajar a \"ras\" la rampa
