Staff was very courteous and especially the cook in the breakfast area. She made great scrambled eggs! Receptionists were professional & greeted all guests daily. Plenty of parking in front of the hotel on premises. Across the street was a Mercadona and the opposite direction was an Eroski if one needs groceries. The roundabout nearby made it easy to travel to Pamplona, Roncesvalles & San Sebastián. We were in Room 205 & there was a strong smell of cleaning products that lingered for days.We opened the window to air out the smell. Pros out weigh the one con. Great stay if you’re looking to stay outside the center of Pamplona.

It’s a bit out of the way for the San Fermin Running of the Bulls festivities, so keep that in mind. Front desk called a taxi first thing in the morning (5:50 AM) but it didn’t show up. It’s a 40 minute walk to downtown!

Hotel is not in the best location. Upon entering the room, we got hit with a horrible odor of smoke. We went down to complain and they told us that while we were out, they would put a machine in the room to get rid of the smell. When we were leaving, they then made up an excuse for not being able to provide the machine and only other option was switching rooms. We decided to stay since it was only one night and we had already settled in. That night we hardly slept and I ended up with a migraine due to the smell! Definitely not worth what we paid!

First, I loved how comfortable n clean the hotel was. I was shocked though how far it was from the city. I was looking forward to staying right in the city centre n stroll around but this hotel was way out there n it’s quite a hike to the city. Apart from a nice small grocery shops, there’s nothing to do nearby

Arrived at 9:30 in the evening after long trip up from Spain en route back to the UK. We booked the room about 3hrs prior to our arrival as we were unsure how far up through France we would get. The hotel would not serve us any food even though we had to wait for the hotelier to serve meals to the seated guests before checking us in. There was nowhere else open for food so we went to bed hungry. The room was in an annex away from the main square, which was disappointing. The bedroom was ok but the bathroom was dated and only had a bath. There was a small shuttered window which had a bright light outside all night. The room has pictures of water on the wall. It would be better to have some black and white photos of Richelieu so you felt you were there rather than in a bland hotel room.

Our stay was great. We were in town for the San Fermin festivals. Hotel was a short bus ride from the center of the festivities. Hotel itself was clean, very friendly and helpful staff, and comfortable. The only down side was a smell of smoke in the room from previous people. Local market on the first floor is closing/relocating but there is another one less than a block away.

It was amazing - very large and cozy. All the extras and very clean! We were surprised the A/C didn't work. At all. And so that made it uncomfortable. Walking distance or short commute to major sites. Nice trails. Well equipped kitchen and full sized apartment so plenty of room. Would be great for a week to explore Pamplona and area. Provided the A/C works. That was very miserable for us (we opened the windows to get some cool air at night, but then the street lights and noise came in).

The hotel was well located for a short drive into Pamplona and to get on the motorways for the surrounding area. It was clean, very spacious and modern. There were several supermarkets within a few minutes walk. Parking was limited, but we always found somewhere.
The only disappointment was the kitchen equipment. The facilities were modern and worked well, but there was virtually no equipment to cook with. There was no kettle, no saucepans, no towels / tea towels, one small frying pan. We had chosen the apartment over a hotel because of my diet and we needed to cook. We weren't there long enough to go and buy pots pans etc; so it was a bit of a waste of an excellent kitchen. Otherwise we would recommend.

We had a very large and spacious room with a good size, modern kitchen area and a very nice, modern bathroom.
It is about a 20-30 min walk into Pamplona (if you don't get lost like us!!), but we got a taxi back which only cost €8.
There is a nice large supermarket next to the hotel, which also has a very cheap petrol station with it, which was a bonus if you are on a roadtrip like us (Diesel was just €0.85/litre!!)
In the area opposite the hotel are some nice local bars, which are worth a visit!

Quiet stay for the festival

The hotel is located on the edge of town and was an easy bus ride to the festival, with buses running every 15 minutes just a short walk from the hotel and dropping you adjacent to the arena. Rooms are very spacious and the full size refrigerator was great in the kitchen area. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Pamplona hotel

It was a full 1 bedroom apartment with a grocery store next door. We could cook our own meals. Saving money on eating out. It was about a 10 walk to the bus stop that took you straight to the center of Pamplona plaza where we were to watch the running of the Bulls. Plenty of shopping for souvenirs and more.

The apartment was very nice. As another guest pointed out, there is usually free parking in front of the building. The WIFI was ok, but there was some spooling when we tried to stream TV programs. The kitchen had the basic dishes and pots and pans. There was no salt and pepper. It lacked a decent knife and a spatula.

Hotel was clean and spacious. The air conditioning was broken in our room, so we were quickly moved to another. Despite range extenders everywhere, wifi seemed spotty on some devices. Close to food markets, Kitchenette a Godsend. Helpful staff, even when there was a language barrier. All in all, though very enjoyable and easy to get to downtown Pamplona from the hotel. I would definitely stay there again.

Perfection in Pamplona

This was the last hotel we stayed in on our tour of Northern Spain and, whilst we initially hesitated about staying 3 nights in a city, we are really pleased we did. The hotel is just a 15 minute walk from the city centre and Pamplona is a lovely place to visit - plenty to keep you occupied for a few days, and busy, but without the hoards of tourists you find in other popular cities in June.

The hotel was easy to find (although we did initially turn into a supermarket instead of the first right turn at the last roundabout!)and there are lots of supermarkets nearby (a relief for us as some of the places we stayed in were miles away from a supermarket). The accommodation was the best we stayed in. The apartment was extremely spacious and every effort had been made to reduce noise and light - even the kitchen stools had rubber bottoms to reduce the screeching noise of wooden chairs being dragged along the floor (which we had plenty of in other hotels). It was extremely clean and the beds were very comfortable.

The only disappointment was that the \"balcony\" in our room was not actually a balcony - it was a balcony for drying clothes.

Note - Our satnav (Garmin) only located the hotel by adding \"de\" into the address provided, ie Avenida de Villava.

Beautiful apartment

The apartment was fantastic, very modern and clean. The beds were extremely comfortable and the shower room very large with a large shower enclosure. Although it was about 25 minutes walk from Pamplona centre it was an enjoyable walk through a large park. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The supermarket which is situated below the apartment did have a rather strong smell but the Mercadona is a short walk from the apartment. Having travelled by car it was good to have parking outside the hotel entrance which is free or you could pay for parking if there were no slots available. I would have no hesitation in recommending these apartments.

Cannot go wrong!

I just spent 3 weeks at this hotel and am planning to use it the next time I return to Pamplona which I will. This hotel has it all. The room was clean, quiet, and fully functional. We used the kitchen each day to cook breakfast before we took off to visit friends and relatives. The washer was very convenient even though there is no dryer. Hanging the clothes out to dry was no problem. We hung them out in the morning and they were dry when we returned in the evening. The staff was always friendly, helpful and punctual. The room was cleaned every day even around our schedule. The supermarket right next door (within 30 feet) had everything you could think of and opened 9am to 10pm everyday but Sunday. It also had a 24 hour gas station for our rental car. Getting places was easy with a main street in front going to central Pamplona or another street on the side going to the old part of Pamplona and the train station. We were there after the San Fermin festival and the city was clean and tranquil. The only thing missing was a restaurant near by but this minor and it was never a problem. Wifi was somewaht slow but I was able to read the daily newspaper from home, check e-mails and Skype with family. I highly recommend this hotel. Like I said I am planning to use it every time I am in Pamplona.

It is difficult to fault the amenitities, however, we were expecting a balcony view over the surrounding mountains, as I believed we had booked one. The room we were given was on the first floor over-looking the supermarket petrol station! We were only in the area for 3 days so changing would have been a hassle. The walk into Pamplona takes about 45 mins and is a rural and urban mix - not unattractive though. The supermarket next door to the hotel, though a surprise at first, became an added bonus. Our Sat Nat only managed to get us within 800 mtrs of the appartments and took a couple of drives around the block - the name of the appartments only appears at the very top. Yes, we would use the hotel again but would ensure that we weren't on the first floor over the car park.

We had a very pleasant stay here. The accommodation was so clean and spacious and the kitchen and washing facilities an excellent idea especially as there is a supermarket just next door!
It is about 10-15 minutes walk from the hotel to the Centre of Pamplona but the very helpful staff would organise a taxi if required.
We would certainly stay here again and wish that there were more of these hotels in other Cities!

You have a nice little grocery down stairs where u can purchase food for bull fights, your San Fermin outfit, wine, laundry soap, etc. We loved the bus stop two blocks away and liked how quiet it was after a long day and night. We stayed in these apartments during San Fermin. It's a 5-10 minute drive (w traffic) to the bull ring, but this also meant it was quieter and safer at night time and didn't smell as horrible as the city centre!
The apartment was nicely furnished with a lovely little kitchen and basic appliances. It's right next door to a supermarket too which was perfect as we were able too prepare our own meals when desired.
The free wifi was a big help too since wifi has been sporadic in Spain!

We are a family of five and stayed at the San Fermin Hotel. We were very happy with the hotel it is new and comfertable. The room is very spacious. There is a good supermarket below the hotel were you can buy all groceries. The only problem is finding the hotel for some reason it did not show up on our GPS.

From the moment you walk through the door into the calm, air-conditioned lobby, the experience gets better and better. The reception staff were all friendly, helpful and multi-lingual. The lifts were new and the corridors quiet. But the rooms were the crowning glory in this new, glassy block on the outskirts on Pamplona. The fittings are of the quality you'd expect in a very expensive hotel and the decoration modern, tasteful and well-finished. And they have proper, silent air-conditioning.
It is situated in Burlada, which is a bit like Slough without the charm, but only five minutes from the centre of Pamplona. If you raise your eyes from the traffic, you get views of the Pyrenees. There's a big supermarket underneath and you can order room service from local take-aways which is useful as the rooms are so lovely, its hard to leave them.
This hotel deserves every recommendation.

AH San Fermin was total luxury. The convenience to the bus route, next-door grocery store, and private kitchen helped make our trip relaxing and enjoyable. Hotel was better than expected. very spacious and comfortable, even though by a main road you cannot hear any noise once inside. all equipment was very high tech in kitchen. there is a supermarket next door which was very practical to pick up shopping. I would recommend this hotel to anybody wanting to be just on the outskirt of Pamplona (about 20-30mi walk away) with an easy access to the Pyrenees routes! Hotel staff was welcoming.

The hotel was excelllent. The only downfall was a non functioning phone in my room. It turned out that I needed it after having my wallet stolen at the festival of San Fermin. The front desk let me use their phone but I was hesitant to tie up their only desk phone. So they offered their cell phone. It didn't work (I was trying to call the U.S.) but I appreciated the gesture. Overall, the front desk was superb with their directions, advice and overall help.

Unexpected brilliance

I choose this hotel because it was the cheapest available in the area during the San Fermin festival week at the start of July. I was very suprised when I arrived. We arrived 8 hours early as we were going straight into Pamplona (about a five to ten minute taxi ride away costing 10 Euros). to ask if we could leave our car in their carpark. I know this wouldn't happen all the time but they checked us straight in.

The room was massive. Bedroom, living room/kitchen and bathroom. All very spacious and very comfortable beds.

Una opción excelente en Pamplona

Un apartahotel muy bueno para alojarse. Los apartamentos son muy amplios y tienen todo lo necesario (cocina, lavadora, nevera,...), las camas cómodas y el baño bastante bien. Cuenta con servicio de limpieza diario. Tiene recepción 24 horas.

Hay que tener en cuenta que no está en Pamplona sino en Burlada, un municipio ubicado al lado de la capital. Pero las conexiones tanto en coche como en bus son buenas. Hay parking gratis y parada de bus cerca. Tiene varios supermercados cerca, lo cual viene genial para hacerse la cena.

Por poner una pega, al desayuno le falta variedad, lo veo caro para lo que se ofrece (correcto, pero sin más) y el horario podría ser más amplio.

Die Idee ist gut: die Zimmer sind kleine Apartments mit Küche, Wohnzimmer, Waschmaschine... Leider riechen die Zimmer nach einem sehr starken Reinigungsmittel. In unserem Schlafzimmer war es so schlimm, dass wir dort nicht schlafen konnten. Zum Glück war das Personal zur Stelle und hat uns nachts ein weiteres Apartment gegeben - zum Schlafen.

empfehlenswerte Unterkunft für Pamplona

Das erste Apartment mit Terrasse, das wir bekamen, war von der Einrichtung her super, mit viel Platz und großer Terrasse. Leider war der Wind hier im oberen Stockwerk sehr laut zu hören, so dass wir um ein anderes Zimmer baten. Dies wurde uns auch ermöglicht - es war optisch nicht ganz so großzügig wie das erste, aber für uns die bessere Wahl und auch sehr gut. Die Betten bequem, die Einrichtung mit allem ausgestattet was wir brauchten.
Leider gab es in diesem 2. Apartment einen unangenehmen Geruch im Bad, offenbar vom Abfluss. Mit geschlossener Tür hat sich dies nicht weiter in der Wohnung ausgebreitet, aber es sollte behoben werden. Wir haben es aber erst bei Abreise gemeldet, weil wir ansonsten mit allem zufrieden waren.
Die Angestellten waren alle sehr nett, insbesondere beim Check-in. Das Frühstück war gut.
Inkludierter Parkplatz in der Tiefgarage auch sehr angenehm

Séjour sympatique! Nous avions pris l’appart hôtel avec terrasse, très grand avec une grande salle de bain. Au top! Super, propre et les employés très aimable, sympas et souriant malgré la barrière de la langue.
