Several very important things:lack of sleep because this hotties in between of two major roads and it’s very noisy due to motorcycles,also it’s very smelly and polluted.Rooms are extremely small.Pillows are square shaped awful,small distorted.Lots of huge mosquitoes.Breakfast is very limited and bland.Just terrible.The location is misleading,yes it’s close to the sea but the access to the water is rocky and wild.The staff is unfriendly,trying to pretend that they are welcoming but acting like doing you a favor.Very disappointing for Best Western,we stayed with them in other places and had totally different experience.

Hotel was in the quiet area of town which suited us but was a long walk to the shops and sandy beach. Lovely view from the balcony, private, stoney beach which we swam in every day, beach towels provided by hotel.
The only issues we had was the ants, many on the balcony and some in our room and bathroom. Cleaner was very good at cleaning them up, also expresso machine didn't work properly, reported this on our second day but nothing was done about it. Staff were very friendly, helpful and polite

This was one of the better properties in the area and not too far from the downtown. Beautiful view into the ocean and overall clean rooms/renovated facilities! Parking is about a 3-5minute walk from the hotel and it’s not free. There is also not enough spots for all the guests! We got lucky for one night and the other we had to find street parking.

The location on the sea front is superb. Just a little ways out of town. Choose a superior sea front if you can. The balcony is a must. Great vibe down this end of town. Super little restaurant next door attached . Great staff.

Me and my friend had1 night stay at this hotel in a charming town Menton. The hotel is located right by the sea shore, so we've had a nice balcony with the sea view. Its a walking distance to restaurants and places to visit and enjoy in Menton. The beds were comfortable and people who work at this hotel were friendly and helpful.

It was amazing and my wife and l tried to find faults but couldn’t, especially for my wife not to find one fault it’s unheard of, if I’m going to split hairs l would say the lift was too small, staffs were helpful as our fridge wasn’t working when we arrived it was fixed same hour, amazing hotel opposite the seafront with an amazing views, will stay there again and recommend to anyone 10/10 for sure.

One of the many things I liked about this hotel was its position one mile from town. This made it quieter than the beach bars further up the strip. Also a very handy 10 min walk from Carnolès Gare a trip of say 50 minutes from the airport Gare. Sea view rooms are a must and a balcony even better. Generous minibar was refilled with beer, fruit juice water, crisps, kikat and sprite each day. Coffee and cake available also each day from 2pm.Restaurant next door was super with a great fixed price menu for us. Nice to dine locally after a very busy day. Great breakfast selection and indoor and outdoor spaces to enjoy eating it. Lots going on for this hotel, will return next year for sure.

Wouldn’t stay here again, called before we booked to make sure they had availablilty and we were told yes. booked for a couple nights and when we got there they said they oversold the rooms and we had to leave our before our second night and find another hotel, we refused and checked in. The second morning we were woken up by the front desk asking us if they could help us find another hotel, I told her we weren’t leaving and that we were sleeping and they can find themselves another solution that it was unprofessional on their part.

The hotel and the location of the hotel was outstanding. For the most part all the staff was very pleasant to deal with. However we had to pay to park at a off site spot which was a little inconvenient. The next day day we asked could we leave the car there for and hour or two while we looked around the city. That’s when one lady wasn’t very nice or accommodating. And told us that we couldn’t and only granted us 30 minutes. There were only 3 other cars in this parking lot with room for up to approximately 10 more. Their check in isn’t until 3pm and
they weren’t expecting anyone until after this time but we were still told no.

Our family enjoyed our staying at this hotel.
Location was super, looking over the ocean and very convenient to walk the entire length of the beach in Menton.
Hotel is very well maintained and clean.
Checking in was a breeze. Front desk speaks French, English, and Italian.
Room is extremely clean and fresh. Shower pressure is strong and temperature is very sufficient.
A 10/10 rating from us. Oh... one small note: hotel didn't provide conditioner so if you must have that for your hair, be prepared to bring your own.

Great service but where is the beach?

The location is convenient if you are visiting Monaco. The service is great. Although, I did leave with a bitter feeling about this hotel. When you look at it on Hotels.com, it kind of makes you think that the hotel has its own beach (photos and location on map), but it’s not the case. They « recommend » some sort of beach club 5’ away by foot. You must pay to access it and it’s quite expensive (20-30 euros for two people). The staff was great, but I was a bit disappointed about that given the relatively high price of the hotel.

I am very disappointed in the manor in which this hotel has been advertised. All immediate photos show a beach and state private beach. What is not noted is this is open to any bookings, at a cost of 30euros per sunbed and no preferential or reserved space for hotel residents. Based on the price I was expecting this to all be included

A Wonderful Experience

My girlfriend and I arrived at the hotel a few hours too early to check in, but the friendly staff at the reception offered us two beach towels, some drinks, and said, “your room will be ready in thirty minutes...”

Thirty minutes later we were given a great room facing a park, with a view to a mountain, the evening sun on the terrace, and felt refreshed by our afternoon dip in the nearby sea.

If only the characters that just overcharged us for a “studio apartment” in Roquebrone could live up to similar standards, we would be happy. After writing a late night message to the sketchy owner asking for some towels, as the bathroom didn’t even have a hand towel, let alone hand sanitizer (COVID 19?), I remembered my wonderful experience from a few days ago...and decided to use his WiFi to write this review.

The hotel is perfectly located right on the sea front with an entrance there and also on the main street to the other side. The bus from NCE stops right outside which is great. Quite simply the hotel is immaculately clean, the staff are polite and helpful. We were upgraded from a mountain view to a sea view with an L shape balcony. The breakfast buffet option is excellent and well worth the price. We will definitely be staying here again very soon.

A moment in time in Menton France

We were looking for a pleaseant headquater for four days while visiting the French Riviera before Heading to Barcelona. The Prince De Galle not only was perfectly nestled we felt in love with Menton. The hôtel restaurant is excellent and the staff wasn’t Shy of recommending others like La Trattoria or L’Artiste nearby.

Perfect place to stay in Menton

This hotel is situated right on the promenade and within walking distance of much that Menton has to offer. We found free street parking right in front, which I understand was lucky. The room had a view of the water and a mini-bar of complimentary beverages. We ate at the hotel restaurant and were pleased to find delicious local specialties. The front desk could not have been nicer. All in all, a wonderful spot!

Really nice hotel, great room and very comfy bed! We booked a mountain view room but there was a main road and a mountain in the very distance so wasn't as great a view as it sounded. Main road also meant it was very noisy during the day but mostly okay at night. Easy journey into Monaco, we used uber as the best way to get there. Would stay here again but would get sea view room, although there's also a main road that side of the hotel too so not sure if the noise would be any better, but view would be great!
