The property is located in a good neighborhood. But the AC and heat don’t work.

The rooms are stuffy and no air. The staff asked me open the windows and they couldn’t do anything.

I feel sick as it was cold outside.

Je t’aime le Hôtel Claridge! I miss it already. It felt like a new place to call home. Filled with the sights and sounds of Paris where the clouds performed each day and night to create backdrops for the rich architecture and iron wrapped patios perfect for an evening glass of champagne or morning tea. The lobby was filled with helpful and friendly faces that greeted us warmly each time we passed through. I wish I could have packed the staff with me they are such beacons and of hospitality and gentility. Spacious breathtaking room for three women with our luggage. Huge, extremely comfortable bed and extra rollaway that was also very comfortable. Lovely bathrooms, inspiring patio over looking the streets and steps away from the taxi stand, metro, designers, shopping, and don’t miss restaurants. Exceptional! A true Paris gem!!!

Nice period feel about the hotel, friendly staff who greeted constantly. Only one small lift for 6 floors, but wasn't super busy so never had to wait. Had a small room which was the spec we chose due to budget, but given how quiet the hotel was it would have been lovely to have been upgraded to a nicer larger room as a courtesy. We had larger rooms either side of us and on that same floor for instance which didn't seem to be used (we went off peak during the week).
Another big gripe for me would be the poor AC function. We had an AC unit in the room and it was boiling, and apparently due to it being a centralised system the most I could do was have it turned off via reception, but I couldn't have it blow cold air to have a nice 19/20degrees. Even with it turned off due to the all the pipes and surrounding rooms I was still roasting nonetheless. For a premium hotel at the minimum I would expect a fully functioning AC system in the room, and allowed to cool it down if I want.
Otherwise nice decor and clean, probably will not use again though unless the above was fixed.

Location was brilliant the staff was really helpful the view was nice but one bad thing which i personally suggest the hotel should look into is when a guest check in they will find a bottle of water but the water is free in most hotels around the world and it is replaced everyday by the room service i asked for water and i was being told that there is a charge of €7 for a bottle of water apart from that the stay was cosy the bed was comfortable just one thing if the hotel should consider changing is the policy of water

We enjoyed our stay. We had a second floor room which was very nice. It faced the street which made for some noise at night including deliveries but we did not not ask for a change. Breakfast was good for a couple of days but pretty much the same. Location was great with reasonable walks to the Seine, Arc, Invalides etc and located near a couple of metro stations. Service was good although as a rule we are pretty non demanding travelers.

For being small, everyone seemed to take pride in their work. The location was convenient to shopping, restaurants, attractions, and the metro. They could not have been nicer or more personable at the Hotel Claridge. It is a true classic, tall ceiling pre-war style hotel that puts you right in the middle of everything Paris. Access to the buses and trains are minutes away.

The hotel was very nice and very conveniently located to all all the shopping, however, I was very disappointed when we were given a room on the sixth floor where they had remodeling going. There were boxes of floor tile right outside our room door and on the hallway. They were changing the floor on a room a couple doors down from us and we could smell the fresh paint and cement. The smell was bad and since my daughter has asthma it was not a good situation. We only spent two nights at this hotel and both nights we left the bathroom window opened to get some air in and to help with the construction smell. I don’t know if they run out of rooms and that’s why we were given a room in the construction floor or what that was about. I just wish they would had notified their guests letting us know their hotel was under remodeling. I think it was very inconsiderate on their part.

9/24-9/27/2023- To our delight the rooms are similar as pictured on their website. The rooms in Europe tend to be small compared to the USA hotel rooms. Our room was wonderful, we were very happy, the room was spacious, it had a small balcony we sat out at night with wine. The views were of the city. The hotel and its grounds were clean. Our room was always cleaned when we returned. The staff are welcoming and friendly. When we checked in, we attempted to speak French, the staff quickly and graciously spoke English, we were very grateful for that, I wish we could speak such a beautiful language. The hotel is located walking distance for any of the must sees in Paris. The hotel also is close to Underground stations, all of this made our 1st time in Paris a very enjoyable trip. Many thanks to everyone at Hotel Claridge Hotel!

The location of the property was exceptional in that you were within walking distance of both the Champs d' Elysees and the Seine and a bridge to the Latin Quarter on the Left Bank. The staff were very helpful and accommodating with the exception of two people in the breakfast room toward the end of our stay. The man directed me to get my own milk for my coffee, despite being the only couple in the breakfast room. The other staff quickly supplied both my coffee and a small pitcher of semi-skim milk.

A bit disappointing

My wife and I were looking forward to a weekend in Paris to celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary. I emailed the hotel a few days before our arrival to ask if it was possible to have something special arranged, no reply to my email.
At check-in, I explained that it was a special weekend for us, if possible for an upgrade, we'd booked a deluxe room, I was told the hotel was fully booked (although we saw only 2-3 other couples in 2 days. The receptionist told me that he would have a bottle of wine sent to the room, nothing was ever sent.
The hotel is in a good location, however the rooms are far from soundproof, as we could hear our neighbors quite clearly.

Due to Covid I was unable to travel. I requested a refund and was denied. I was aware that it was a nonrefundable reservation, but due to travel restrictions around the world I believe an exception could have been made. They got my $200, but no more. The hotel looks lovely, but I will never stay there.

Hotel Claridge was excellent. If you have ever dreamed about how a French hotel would look with chandeliers and old world charm then you need to stay here. It is gorgeous. We had two adjoining rooms with the kids and for the price it was excellent. It is also walking distance from Champs de elysee. We will totally come back. It was clean and fancy and so affordable. There is a grocery store and lots of restaurants nearby.

The staff was so sweet. Let us check in right away & rest after our long flight. Our room was spacious & we could open our window & look down into the street. I could also hear the lovely sound of church bells. Love the location. Just a short walk to the Seine & Eiffel Tower.

My only hesitation in giving excellent rating to staff was one super grumpy woman who couldn’t wave the cost of a bottle of water once I told her I had been woken up twice early in the morning by knocking on the door... she could have done a little kindness, surely! Surely.

I’ve traveled to Paris many many times and Hotel Claridge was by far the best out of all the hotels where we have stayed. Not only is it a gorgeous hotel with stunning classical French decor, abundant windows and balconies in what seems every room (our group had 3 rooms and they all had balconies), you cannot beat the location. It is centrally located in between the Eiffel Tower and the Champs-Elysées. There are plenty of restaurants and shops as soon as you step outside. It’s one block to the Champs-Elysées and a 15-20 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. We also took a lovely walk to the Louvre from the hotel. I highly highly recommend this hotel. We were beyond impressed with the location, the building itself but mostly with the staff especially Laurent. They went above and beyond to accommodate our group of 8. We will definitely be returning to this hotel on our next visit.

Great location and a beautiful hotel with champs Elysées just a few minutes walk away. Great staff to help you check in and out and so very helpful. Would highly recommend to stay here especially in suite 54 as it has an amazing corner balcony with great views!

Great Hotel-Affordable Luxe!

I stayed with my two kids and we had the best time. The experience was one of a luxurious boutique Paris Hotel but without losing an arm. My kids felt like royalty and so did I. Breakfast was superb. Service was very kind and helpful. We arrived very late due to flight delays and they even gave us food to calm our hungry spirits. I’d go back there in a second! Loved this hotel! Thanks to all the staff.

The property had the AC system down due to be in the month of May and not in summer as they said, we need to sleep with the window open due to the temperature in the room, having the window open to have better temperature in the room caused received the noise of the busy street where the hotel is located

Staff was wonderful and allowed us to spend all the time we needed resting in lobby after our stay was over and we waited until time to leave for Chunnel. My wife sprained her ankle so that was very nice. I did order a glass of wine. Lots is Parisian charm

The Claridge is a lovely traditional style Parisian hotel. The pleasant difference was our room was quite a bit larger than a typical room in Paris.
The only inconvenience was the weak WiFi. The location is very good as it is only one block to the Champs Elysees, and the staff was most pleasant and helpful. We will stay there again in the future.

Our Favorite Hotel on the Right Bank

My family has a long history of staying at The Claridge whenever we need a Right Bank location in Paris. My first visit was in 1963, and throughout the intervening years, this hotel has maintained it’s upscale ambiance and excellent service.

Had a very bad experience with this hotel the sprayed our room with a kind of detergent anti mosquito and the smell was terrible couldn’t stay in the room for more than 5 mins! Plus had my 3 year old with me... they offered us another regular room but no one was available at night to help us move our 3 luggage bags and my son’s crib!! Had to do that alone! Not to forget that i left 2 small bags and a tax free envelope on the reception to send to my room.. they sent the bags and lost the envelope!! Very irresponsible staff!

Very nice hotel gives you the feel of real Paris .

Great location , close to all the great fashion Maisons and to the Champs elyesse. Wonderful period furniture. Best thing about the hotel is its friendly and efficient staff especially Claude who was so helpful and accomodating in every way possible. Will certainly stay there again next time I'm in Paris.

Not worth the amount of money paid. Air Con not working and room very hot. Central Paris Low level room next to very busy road so couldn’t leave window open. Hotel staff slow at responding re us being hot took multiple requests for a fan.

Wonderful Visit

The hotel is charming and fun. The room was a nice size - enough space for our family of three to move about comfortably. Great location just a few blocks from Champs Elysees, and about equidistant between Eiffel Tower and The Louvre. The best part was the staff.
