I stayed here based on the reviews I had read and couldn’t have been happier! Staff is attentive and welcoming. The room was cozy and had all amenities I needed. The breakfast was a plus, nothing like starting your day with a cappuccino! Location is amazing, everything I wanted to see was within walking distance. Only critique, and it’s a personal one, is the firmness of the bed. I prefer a softer mattress. Nevertheless, I would stay here again!

Lovely weekend in Florence for my husband’s birthday. Staff at the hotel were very attentive to him.

Good central location and decent breakfast buffet. Room was spacious and a nice large bathroom. Only gripe was no tea/coffee making facilities in the room and we do like a cup of tea on waking.

This is an amazing hotel! I've stayed at other properties over the years and this one by far is the best!! It's in the perfect location to see everything. The rooms are very nice. Their cleaning staff are wonderful. Everyone is so cheerful and helpful at the concierge desk. Breakfast is fantastic!! And the happy hour is over the top!! I'll definitely be staying at this hotel my next trip to Firenze!!!

On front desk Silvador, Patrick and Siddeeq were wonderful. And reliable. We came back to the hotel a second time due to the good nature of staff.

Hotel was pretty good, a bit dated with malfunctioning TVs. I was annoyed that the front desk made a big deal about their happy hour and got back early from sightseeing to relax and enjoy the happy hour, only to learn it was unapologetically canceled for some reason. I also complained about the TV not working g and they didn’t understand the problem. I didn’t want to waste any more time explaining.

Staff was very kind and friendly. My only concern which was extremely concerning..was they arranged to clean out their biological box (aka septic) in the middle of the night and I awoke to horrific fumes which was located below my room window.

4 stars is too much. Pillows uncomfortable. Do not clean coffee maker and do not replace the cups and coffee. They did not talked or offered any breakfast available. Staff was friendly. Good location.

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Starting from the service upon check in. once I checked in, the room was a disaster...this is supposed to be a 4 start hotel but I've seen better hostels. Avoid this hotel...super old, not clean and the staff is unhelpful.

Located in central location. Front desk staff is very nice. HOWEVER, they need to hire better housekeepers. Whoever \"cleaned\" my room, made the bed only. I found hair on the shower walls when i first showered, and they were still there on the second day of my stay. Cleanliness is not a priority to them.

The location is one of the best in Florence. You are in the center of the old city in one of the classiest locations imaginable. Mere one or two minutes walk to everything. Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, restaurants and every shop imaginable are all right there. Uffizi and Accademia are less than 10 minutes away, as is the train station (easy hop to Pisa or Rome). We rolled our bags to the station, it was faster than a taxi! Breakfast was the best I've had in Italy. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Service was great. Only knock is the AC is weak. Not hot, but not really cold if you prefer that. Overall, Grade A hotel and would absolutely stay again.

This property was in a great location. The included breakfast was what you would expect. The hotel backs onto a little street that can be quite loud with voices and vehicles. We were on third floor and it was quite loud throughout the night.

I loved the location . The staff were also accommodating. Breakfast was sumptuous and provided for many options. The only problem I had was the sheets and the bed. The bed was too hard, the sheets were rough to the skin and so thin and there was only one pillow for each person. Most hotels I’ve stayed in Italy provided at least two pillows for each guest.

This is a wonderful hotel. Great location. Lovely staff, nice room and nice breakfast and amazing restaurant staff. The hotel is a little dated from a style perspective - but it is old world charm! The only downside was there was a drip in our toilet that although they sent people to try to repair, it was never fixed. Even with the dripping toilet, we would stay again!

As a solo traveler in Europe, I have found that I can book fancier hotels than I normally would if I am willing to stay in a room that has a twin or double bed. There are often such rooms in older European hotels. This place was spectacular in terms of the decor. I don’t know what you call it, baroque, damask, or what. But the linens on the bed match the chair and the window treatments. There was a turn down service where they put a nice mat on the ground in front of your bed with slippers. Breakfast was very good, but of course the Italians are not known for their big breakfast. There were lots of options, however. The fresh fruit was plentiful.

The check-in and checkout were slow. Either they just expect you to wait or they need more staff. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay a lot. And if you’re a high-end shopper, you are right smack in the middle of the fanciest shopping district, with Van Cleef and Ariel, Armani, Gucci, and all of the rest of them right there on the same street right next door. Fanciest shopping Street in Florence.

This property is wonderfully located for all options of things to do and see throughout Florence, as well as being easy to reach. The onsite parking was a tremendous convenience for us. Even better than the location was the wonderfully polite and helpful staff. The classically styled rooms were large, accommodating and very quiet. Large opening windows were a plus during the day and well designed with dark curtains for sleeping comfortably. The neighborhood was fantastic with some of our best dining experiences practically across the street. We will look to return on our next trip to Florence.

Very nice hotel. This was our favorite of our European trip. The room was elegant and large with two levels. They have a nice happy hour. Only downside was a temporary plumbing issue that left some rooms without water or reports of murky water. They worked to fix it. I would still go back.

The hotel was centrally located and just a 7 min walk from Duomo and was just about 10 min (by taxi) from the main train station of Firenze Santa Maria Novella. Many great restaurants were within a 10 min walk. The hotel staff assisted us with reservations at restaurants and were very accommodating our entire time there. They always greeted us when we walked in. Their breakfast was very good as well. I would stay there again if I went back to Florence.

My sister and I spent a week here as we explored Florence and the Tuscan areas nearby. The hotel is located in the heart of the city, walking distance to the Duomo, galleries, museums, the Ponte Vecchio, and to tons of restaurants. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel breakfast was fantastic, and on the days we had to leave super early on tours, the staff provided us with a bagged breakfast. The daily happy hour was a great way to wind down before heading out for dinner. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

If you want service before 7am, forget it. Housekeeping does not replenish coffee in rooms, and if you walk down to front desk to get more coffee before 7am you will speak with a snotty old man who you have to wake up so he can tell you no coffee until 7am

Great location - 10min walk from the tram and main station. In the heart of the old city - Uffizzi Gallery, Duomo and Palace Vecchio all 10 min walk max. In the heart of many restaurants and high end shopping.

Great breakfast options, staff very welcoming, spacious and comfortable room. I guess my only gripe was being charged on checkout for bottled water from the mini bar as thought this was free (as only drink in the mini bar)

Other than that a 5 star stay.

The double bathroom suite was especially spacious and nice.

My niece and I checked in and found bugs and ants in every room. I have video of an ant carrying crumbs on the floor. My niece is deathly allergic to ants and we had to leave immediately. I called the property manager and they refused to refund our stay. They claimed that bugs and ants are normal. they offered to spray the property and I said my niece is asthmatic and that would cause additional breathing issues. Bottom line, it was not a safe facility for us to stay at. I did not say there and was charged over $300. In the meantime, I had to find another hotel and spend another $300.

Unfortunately the hotel and expedia had an issue with my booking, I was charged in full for a no show on a booking I didn’t even have a register.
I Won’t recommend any hotel like this, my first sensation once there is dated and old.

Overall I like the hotel and maybe stay in there for the next time I visit Florence. The location is very close to everything, shopping, train station ( 7 minutes walking distance) and other attractions. The breakfast selection was ok, not great, but the staff was very friendly, especially Luka, so kind and always very pleasant. I had some mosquitoes bites at night, I wish they had some repellent for them. TV channels very limited, some no signal

We stayed here for 4 days in March 2025. Pictures of the room on the website are true to what we experienced. Building is older yet somewhat renovated. Breakfast was good. Staff were super friendly. They helped us get around town and made reservations for us at a local restaurant. Location is phenomenal in a safe area. Always felt safe as we walked late in the evening. Train station is at walking distance. Really loved our stay we would definitely return.

Well, I stayed in a single room. It may have been a closet when I told the staff about the lack of hot water and drafty window, which made my room cold. They said it was something everybody in the hotel was experiencing, and the staff was pretty unpleasant in the breakfast area.
