Did not need the kitchen.
The garage is terrible. It took three attempts to enter before the steel doors close. Ending up damaging my Maserati. On departure l asked a member of staff to help me. After a 7 point turn she opened doors for me to exit, I did the exit doors remained closed and the rear ones closed behind me expecting the exit ones to open. They did not. After pressing the alarm many times they finally opened.

I enjoyed most aspects of this hotel including the location, size of the room, and the shower (good water pressure and hot water). The bed was rather firm and the linens were a bit scratchy (cheap), however, I would stay here again.

Good location, odd lack of kitchen items

This hotel is rather odd- the suites have a kitchenette, but they lack things like a wine opener, a sponge or soap to clean dishes, or coffee grounds for the morning. However, the room itself was a good size and comfortable, as was the bathroom, and the location of the hotel is quite convenient. Parking was a little difficult - you must hit the an elevator call button on the street, and the basement parking spots can be quite tight.

The studio was clean and spacious. The kitchen was basically equipped. A kettle and more cutlery would be better. The bed was average but tended to dip in the middle. The studio is very well placed for all the facimities of Valladolid and was good for our 3 night stay.

405 was a wonderful room overlooking cafes but it was very sound-proofed and with ear plugs you didn’t hear a thing. Staff was lovely and eager to please. Restaurants don’t open there until after 9 so we bought food in a supermarket around the corner and used the apartment’s facilities. We should also have done our own breakfast since there were nice pastry shops all around. You cannot go wrong with this hotel and it’s location.

Very nice apartment suite across from a beautiful medieval church. We had a view of the church from our room, Large apartment suite with full kitchen. Lots of closets, excellent bath and large bed and separate living area. All was spotless and well maintained. Could have used a better TV but that was the only complaint. Conveniently located to dining and shops. Easy underground parking available. Would recommend.

One overnight stay.

A beautiful hotel, our room was perfect. We were only staying overnight on route to Santander but this hotel is quite central for shops restaurants and bars. The setting next to the hotel is so picturesque. It was the middle of December when we stayed here and the city Christmas decorations were outstanding The staff were very helpful, parking was excellent although I had to get out the car to go to reception and ask for directions and instructions to get to the parking area. I would definitely recommend the Nexus hotel to anyone staying in Valladolid. I would definitely like to return some day soon.

Overall the hotel is nice and in a super area. On my end I'm not happy with the experience as I revcieved a room with to individual beds put together instead of a queen or king bed. The wheels weren't locked and the beds kept separating. I brought this to the hotel attention and I asked for a partial refund or compensation (for for what was supposed to be a romantic night with my girlfriend and it ended up being the opposite when it came to bedtime), and they basically ignored my message.

The hotel is superbly located in the center of Valladolid. Even though we had rented a car, we used it only a few times (to visit some wineries) we left it at the parking due to the ease of walk within the hotel.

The suite product is fresh and well done. Later I learned that the owners of the hotel are developers and even own a winery. It’s clear that the are meticulous and do things the right way.

Alfonso and Irene were of great help through out our stay.

Great modern place in a lovely old-world city

This was one of the best hotels I have stayed at in Europe. Valladolid is NOT a tourist town - in the two weeks that I stayed there (for work) I did not meet a single tourist. The only expats that I met were some Brits that moved there because of how charming it is. Old world and lovely, and this modern hotel is in the absolute best area of the town - literally across the street from an ancient church and a block away from an astonishing even-more-ancient cathedral. There are literally dozens of lovely bars and tapas places within blocks of the hotel - everything from snooty upscale to college-age hangouts. The majority are the kinds of places that 20-somethings would take their girl friends on a Friday night or that older adults would sit with their wives on a warm summer evening drinking tinto de verano before eating some tapas. Really a super pleasant place to be. The hotel is very modern with great staff. Only downside is their reluctance to change the towels, but in the 21st Century, this seems the norm. I'll stay there again - every time I visit this not-to-be-overlooked town. Spend a few nights here if you want a chill, authentic, old-world Spanish town. Just sit. Drink some beer or tinto, eat some tapas, and relax at a pace that seems more humane than the rest of the modern world!

I first found this place 6 or 7 years ago and was impressed enough to remember it for if I ever returned to the city of Valladolid. Earlier this week I did and had no hesitation in re-booking. It's in a perfect location and is great for anone who does not necessarily want to stay in a \"hotel\" but rather a high quality \"home from home\" with kitchen/loung etc as well ad bed/bathrooms. There are some hotel services if you need them and also a supermarket (Gadis) just round the corner, if like me you need fresh milk to make yourself a proper cup of tea during your stay! I've never stayed anywhere else in Valladolid and probably won't bother finding alternatives if I come back, it will be a case of re-booking here.

- Somewhat spoilt by penny-pinching management and poor customer service: No proper soap or bath gel provided just fixed installation of all-purpose gunk in bathroom and shower - means you cannot use the bidet; First morning in the shower found the gunk bottle was empty; failed to provide shower cap until asked; oven didn't work, but no refund offered; Instructions for Oven microwave only in Spanish; sent maid to fix oven when should have been technician; no apology or refund for non-working oven; despite these issues they wanted to charge €30 for late checkout; Reception indifferent and answered most requests with a Spanish shrug; for the price they should provide a welcome basket with washing up liquid etc for late arrivals but nothing provided.

Jewel of a hotel in the heart of Valladolid.

I arrived in Valladolid very ill after a difficult travel experience. My husband went to a nearby pharmacy to get a wonderful medication that, with 36 hours of sleep and a bowl of \"cocido\" - a broth soup prepared by the small bar next door got me back on my feet. The hotel was SUPER COMFORTABLE, great curtains that kept the room dark as I slept and recouperated, great AC - Centrally located - wonderful garage for our rental car. The room included a small kitchen and sitting/TV area...Loved the hotel and would highly recommend it.

The concierges and the other people in the hotel were very nice and diligent. I just think that coffee maker was promised and there was not one in my room. In addition the room was consistently hot. I had to spend money on buying coffee and I think that it is not fair.

Door card failed 4 times had to go down to reception. No double bed. Single bed brake on wheels was not locked so rolled away from wall. Warped laminate flooring. Poor grouting in WC. No cutlery in kitchen.
Passive aggressive and sour reception staff the morning of check out. The hotel is trying too hard and results in being irritating rather than welcoming.

Great place to stay. Location is wonderful, near everything. We walked everywhere, never moved the car. The room itself was facing the street, had a balcony and was very comfortable and roomy. We stayed there 2 nights and would have liked to stay longer. Very nice for the price.

Our room (102) was spacious and clean. With a Fab view of the church opposite. I had heard of complaints previously about noise from students being so close to the uni, but I didn't hear anything (although we did go during Uni summer break) but heard nothing from the locals either.

Nice touches in the kitchen / mini bar with a frozen pizza! Only gave it a four in cleanliness as housekeeping didn't clean our glasses and there is no washing up liquid provided.

Beds were super comfy. We asked for a double, but it's two twins pushed together and made up as two separate beds. That would be my only real gripe.

Fabulous little supermarket just around the back of the hotel to stack your kitchen with.

CONCLUSION: Fab hotel would definitely recommend!!

Weekend away from Madrid. Hotel is very centrally located close to all bars and sights. Wonderful room,spacious and well appointed. A shame the bar didn't seem to be open as we would have tried the hotels own wines. Some late evening noise (Saturday night only) but this is the price you pay for such a good location. Will definitely return to this excellent value hotel.

An excellently well appointed and comfortable apartment - and surprisingly big compared to what I was expecting.
The reception people were friendly and had local knowledge which was a help.
A wonderful place with a glorious view from towards the Cathedral.

I would highly recommend and will certainly re-visit on my trip to Valladolid.

Amazing hotel!

I've traveled all over Spain and this was BY FAR the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in at this price point. Coming in under $80, this was a suite. Full functional kitchen, sofa, desk/table, etc. Nice sheets, clean room. Large shower not typical of a European hotel, and a large room. My room looked right out onto a church located behind the cathedral. Walking distance to shopping, cathedral, Plaza Mayor, dining, grocery store, and Cervantes Museum. 30 min walk from bus station, but cabs and city buses available. Hotel does room service and wine tasting. Safe location with added security of having to be buzzed into the building. Will stay here again next time I'm in Valladolid.

Very nice

Located at a quiet spot steps away from a supermercado, a nice fruteria. It also is only a short distance away from the Cathedral, Plaza Mayor and many restaurants. It is a very well appointed hotel, surprisingly so even if it is a tiny bit dated. Our room has all that is needed for a small apartment. All the furnishing is thoughtfully placed. The front desk was very friendly and helpful. We could stay there again.

The location of the Nexus hotel is excellent; a healthy walk from the city tourist traps, close to the Cathedral and the University, as well as museums and other attractions. While the \"King\" bed consisted of two extra-firm twin beds pushed together, the balance of my stay with Nexus Valladolid was a delight. Kind staff were available and willing to help with my needs (taxi, late-night wine sales, directions, recommendations, etc...), and the in-room kitchenette made my stay feel more of home than hotel. I will recommend Nexus to any wishing to visit the lovely former Capitol of Spain.

A very nice hotel

I stayed at Nexus Suites and Hotel for 2 nights in May, for business. The location is pretty much in the city centre, a stone's throw from the cathedral. The hotel is as the photos depict - excellent condition and very well decorated. The room was well equipped although I would have preferred to have some coffee available in the room. Only a small matter though.
Staff were friendly enough and I was able to store my suitcase after check out, while I was in a meeting.
Overall a nice hotel, which I would recommend.

Friendly staff, nice rooms, good location.
Also the bed and the shower were good.
The wifi was a bit annoying because you need to put the password in every day.
The bar area looks a bit un-inviting. Also, when we wanted to try the Nexus wine, the bar area was soo cold that my wife didn't want stay. If the airconditioning wasn't set so cold then maybe some people would actually use the bar area.
