Lovely hotel in great location. The breakfast was fresh and delicious with excellent service. The coffee was the best I have had in Valladolid.
The reception staff were very warm and welcoming.

The staff was excellent from beginning to end. Unfortunately their A/C did not work, and they had no solution to the situation so the room was extremely hot and almost impossible to sleep in.
They did not have any other rooms available to switch us to and all we got was a simple “sorry” nothing more.

Hotel has convenient parking @ €17.50. Superior room was spacious and clean. Aircon was quiet. The WIFI was poor in the room, therefore spent time in the bar or lobby to access it. To receive a higher speed you need to pay extra. Most expensive hotel we stayed in during our 3 weeks in Spain and it had the poorest WIFI.

Great location and room with parking

Really beautiful hotel. The lobby is inviting and has very attractive decor. The room was large and well appointed. Very comfortable for sleeping, very large bathroom and a sitting area. Also a nice closet for storage. (Room 302) Excellent check in and good parking on site. The bar was nice in the hotel and had great service. Good location to explore Valladolid. I would happily stay again.

Fabulous staff who were very helpful. The location is the best & our suite was lovely. The minibar is free in the room as well. We felt very safe & the parking was easy after we followed their directions & figured out the parking machine. Across the street is a beautiful fresh meat, fish & produce market starting on Friday. The selection was beyond outstanding. The hotel is perfectly situated to make every historic site easily accessible & walkable.

We had such a quiet sleep in this room! I though it would be noisy but it was absolutely peaceful. The staff is professional and quick. There’s parking available. Tons of places where to go and eat. The hotel has a cool personality so it’s special. Super clean and with views to the street that allows you to have real light and a sweet fresh breeze.

Had a wonderful stay in this beautiful hotel. In between the train station and the historic district. Seven minute walk either way. Room was spacious, bathroom was modern with a large bathtub, staff was lovely. Loreto at the front desk was pleasant, knowledgeable, and helpful. Would stay there again in a minute, if I ever make it back to Valladolid!

Old fashioned hotel, well located. However, my room was not very clean on floors, lamps etc. The bed was very hard a no pillows with feathers in a 4 star hotel is not acceptable. Bathroom was nice, with a big walk in shower.

Excellent medium size hotel.

Every offering of the Gareus Hotel works beautifully. They advertise as a boutique place but the number of rooms are more on a medium size hotel, situation that provides a very pleasant sensation in terms of facilities and service. Location close to the main tourist and dining places allows for walking distance for all needs. Accommodations and facilities are first class, and the the room’s sizes provides mobility freedom including any size of luggage. We would undoubtedly use the Gareus if returning to Valladolid.

One bit of advice if taking your car there to park is that the lift taking your car down to the car park for a large car is \"snug\" fold your wing mirrors in.

Great hotel in central Valladolid

Have stayed in this hotel three times now and have to say it’s excellent value for money. Located a short walk from the train station and campo grande, it’s also only 5 minutes from the centre of town. Lots of excellent bars and restaurants nearby. No mirror in the bedroom and you have to pay for water but these are only minor issues in an otherwise great little hotel.

Great stopover

We were en route to Portugal and this is a perfect stopover point. The hotel is well located, the staff were very helpful in suggesting how to get around the city and our room and bathroom were clean and spacious.
The car lift to the basement car park would be an interesting experience if you're in a big car!

Safe, comfortable hotel with amazing staff

The rooms were very comfortable, but even better than the rooms were the employees. They were amazing when it came to helping us make lunch and winery reservations, which we very much appreciated since none of us spoke Spanish well. There is a garage that was very cool as it is accessible by car elevator. The wifi and shower worked perfectly, and the bed was comfortable. It was also fairly easy to walk to restaurants and shopping nearby. We all very much enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Gareus.

A great room. It is close to the train station with about 10 minute walk. From hotel it is about 10 minute walk to tapas bars and plaza mayor and cathedral. The bar in hotel has reasonable priced drinks. Staff friendly and helpful at check in and for city information.

Ohhhhhhh wowwwwww. This was probably the nicest place we have ever stayed. We got a junior suite on the top floor, under the eaves, and it was gorgeous. We didn't want to leave it, but we came to Valladolid just for the tapas, so we had to force ourselves out. Everything was exquisite, from the fluffy towels and luxurious toiletries to the perfect pillows. We have already recommended this hotel to friends.

Really Smart Hotel

We stayed at the Gareus for three days over Easter and we're very impressed by the standard of the rooms, really modern, clean and spacious....

We stayed in a junior suite on the 5th floor and it was very competitively priced considering what you got, huge modern bathroom (excellent large walk in shower), two televisions (one large in the living area and one small in the bedroom), large built in wardrobe, mini bar, lots of sockets for carving devices, air conditioning, large comfortable bed, sofa, chairs, free water, etc.

Ticked all the boxes and the underground car park was very handy, accessible by lift and only 15 euros per day.

Highly recommend for business of leisure trips to Valladolid.

Beautiful hotel, very well located within walking distance to almost every major attraction. Don't forget to visit the Museo Nacional de Escultura is extraordinary. The only downside to this hotel was as I read in other reviews the extremely hard bed and the pillows some were soft but others were not. They gave me several extra pillows and that helped with the hard mattress. Parking could be difficult for some people, we didn't have a problem.

Nous étions au 4ème étage et pratiquement pas de connexion wifi. Pas de notice dans la chambre pour régler la climatisation
Sinon le restant était parfait,le petit déjeuner de grande qualité. Très bel établissement !
