The kitchenette had everything you need to make a light meal. The room was spacious and very clean. The room had AC which was surprising! Excellent location for exploring Chania. The rooftop terrace was a wonderful oasis to enjoy a glass of wine and unwind. I would stay again without hesitation.

Palazzo di Pietro is a hidden gem - a delightful property with many fascinating elements. It's spotlessly clean. The owner, Eleutheria, was extremely welcoming and helpful, and gave great guidance for interesting things to do, places to eat etc. There were many small touches which made our stay wonderful - we would definitely want to stay here again if re-visiting Chania.

We had a wonderful stay. The service and location are both excellent. We hope to be back again someday. I also want to thank you for your help before our arrival regarding parking our vehicle. Parking just outside the historical walking district was complicated for us, and your guidance made things much easier by directing us to the nearest free parking.

We loved this hotel! We actually extended our stay for an additional day. This hotel only has 7 rooms and Eleutheria and the ladies who prestar this hotel were amazing! Be advised that there is no parking around this hotel as it's in the pedestrian district of Old Town Chania so do your research about parking beforehand! Also, there is no elevator so I would advise not taking a large suitcase (as I did). I really felt like I was staying in someone's home here and I can't recommend this hotel enough! We rented a car but it stayed parked the whole time as everything is walkable. Also, Greece has lots of cats! If you're allergic, be prepared.

The Venetian history of the building is incredible. The room was comfortable and beautifully decorated. Location is perfect for exploring Chania. The advice of our host for things to do and see never missed the mark. The only negative was car parking. You can’t drive in old town and there is limited parking nearby. Be prepared to walk to and from your car.

A few minutes walk to the old town port. Pleasant and knowledgeable owners involved with operations. The rooms are immaculate and romantic decorated with fresh flowers. Champagne, raki, and fresh fruits are supplied at arrival at no cost. Nice spacious bathroom and bathing accessories. Excellent room airconditioner and a great refrigerator w/ freezer to keep water frozen during those hot days when traveling to the various beaches/excursions. A balcony with table and chairs to observe the street action. Parking is available by Talos square a few minutes walk from the establishment (driving at the old town is limited). Restaurants, shops and supermarkets are nearby. It is a great place to enjoy the old town ambiance in Chania and watch the spectacular sunsets. The owners greet you upon arrival and provide all information needed to make for a wonderful stay. We would stay here again!

This is a beautiful place to stay. The host and staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about the town and its history. It is in an excellent location close to the old harbor. They have a wonderful garden space on the top floor. Our room had a kitchenette and the fridge was stocked with water, fruit, and other drinks. The bed was very comfortable. Everything was perfect. Palazzo di Pietro was hands-down our favourite accommodation of our trip. It is such charming place with wonderful staff. The decor is rustic and lovely, and totally fits into the aesthetic of the Chania Old Town area. I adored the four-poster bed and all of the unique touches in the room. The owner checked us in and took the time to explain the area and provided a map and recommendations. We were welcomed with fresh fruits and a bottle of wine. The property is well situation in the centre of Chania Town Square. The space (room 6) is self contained. Front desk staff are amazing, welcoming, informative. In our room, on arrival, we had fresh fruit, water, juice, wine, toiletries. Very clean and comfortable for two. I will say however that because there is a restaurant below it was quite noisy in the evening until about 11:30pm. So if you are early to bed, like we were, that was a small issue. But not a deal breaker for the comfort, location, amenities and great welcoming staff. Very good value and would stay there again.

This property was great! Family-owned for centuries with unique rooms for every guest. The place is right in the heart of Hania. For that reason, a taxi won’t take you to the door (so keep that in mind), and the beautiful rooms are older so you could hear your neighbors. Host have great recommendations, and you cannot go wrong in the Old Town nearby! Definitely would recommend!

We’re so glad we stayed here! We had considered many accommodations, and decided on Palazzo di Pietro because of its traditional vintage charmz We loved this family run hotel. Check in was very welcoming, and included a map full of local sights, in addition to recommendations for dining etc. Staff was helpful throughout our stay - arranging a taxi pick-up for our departure day, etc.
The owner was kind and thought of so many little details. There were arrival treats and lovely departing gifts that made our stay feel special - a fridge stocked with fruit and beverages. They provided a water heater, tea and coffee, cups, mugs, plates, and utensils. Great set-up for eating your leftovers.
The bathroom was well-equipped, with basic toiletries, cotton rounds, a small wash tub and clips for hanging clothes on the clothesline of our balcony. We loved how many things were provided, and seems great for anyone traveling for an extended amount of time.
The top floor has a rooftop terrace with a view of the water.
The hotel is conveniently located in Chania - close to great shopping, sights and restaurants. (Next door Steki had the best mussels we’ve ever had - we’d go back to Chania just to get another plate of them!)
A heads-up to anyone with physical limitations, there is no elevator. We were on the third floor, and it felt like a hike to our room, especially with bags, but worth it!
Best of all is the adorable black cat who lives there. We would stay again and do recommend!

What a wonderful property. Right in the heart of Chania’s old city. It feels like the hotel takes you back in time with its antique furniture and wood finishes but still with modern amenities needed for us. The owners were very sweet and helpful for our first visit in the Crete. Their recommendations and knowledge of Crete helped us build memories we wouldn’t have had without their help. When we revisit Chania this will be our go to hotel.

The owner is amazing. My phone had died so I didn't directions to get to the hotel. I found a shop owner that called her and she walked 10 minutes to where I was and walked me back. Each room is individualize and mine had a private entrance. There were lots of personal touches that made the place feel special. I can't recommend this hotel more. A beautiful and quiet and spacious room in the heart of old town Chania. Elefteria is a wonderful host and very knowledgeable about Crete. She lavished us with fruit, rakemolo, beer, water and candies. The balcony is small but sweet. I liked everything about this place and is extremely quiet at night.

We couldn’t be happier here. Charming city with so many potential excursions…western Crete, in October, has the trifecta of smaller crowds coupled with sunshine and lovely swimming. And so much history! Palazzo di Pietro also has a trifecta - old city location, charming historic building and the lovely Eleutheria, the owner. Elutheria thought of everything for her guests, with lots of good recommendations. Parking is the one challenge; we had an 8 minute walk after dropping our luggage from about 100 meters away. It’s a small nuisance, but might be a concern for some.

Palazzo do Pietro is a beautiful little boutique hotel within minutes walk of the old Chania harbour and all its attractions. Tastefully decorated with comfortable beds. This was our most favourite place to stay on our trip. The hotel is stunning and with a rich history that Eleutheria explained to us on arrival. She was incredibly helpful, giving us information and local insights of the town and some great dining suggestions. We loved the fact that we were in a 15th century house and the owner, Eleuftheria, is a descendent of the original owner. It was quirky but updated and Eleuftheria did her best to make us feel welcome and comfortable. We had a Juliette balcony with a little table and 2 chairs. The street was very narrow, there were three restaurants in that street alone. We said hello to guests on the other side of the street who were sitting on their balcony. It felt very cozy. It was charming. There are no elevators but we had no problem walkong up the stairs. At the end, she called us a taxi to go to the airport. George apparently drives many of her guests to the airport. All in all, we loved old town Chania. O can only recoommend.

A lovely property...
We had a lovely stay at Palazzo di Pietro. The innkeeper was waiting for us at our arrival and gave us very helpful information about the city and many of the historical landmarks (as well as providing us with some fruit and wine in our room). Located right in the heart of the old town, there were myriad choices for dining & shopping within easy walks - while we could hear the busy-ness of the city from our room, we appreciated the proximity that it offered. The room was amazingly comfortable considering the age of the property and we enjoyed the roof-top garden for afternoon refreshments. We would definitely recommend this inn to others!

Nice hotel perfectly located in the heart of the city center. Hundreds of restaurants to chose . Clean and lots of perks. Coffee in room with fruit and complimentary beer and soda. Wonderful reception. Safe. One MAJOR problem is description showed parking. We had to park almost a mile away. Raining upon checkout and now way to drive up to office. This is common in the towns in Crete.

I highly recommend this property. The room is quiet, clean and easy access to the harbor. We are welcomed with local fruits, raki and champion in the room. The owner is so nice. She gave us a good introduction to the history of the area and recommendations for shopping and the restaurants at the time of check in. We followed her advice and were very satisfied. When we checked out, she also told us to stop by a nice beach on the way to the airport, we enjoyed it. Quaint hotel in a great location
We spent 2 nites at Palazzo at Pietro in mid Sept and was given a very cute room#8, with its own separate entrance in the back of the main hotel. It's 1story up so be prepared for a climb with suitcase. Although room was very quaint, it is small. We did not mind the stairs and since we were out all day the room size was not a problem. The shower was nice and so was the bed. Our hostest was so gracious and her attention to details in the room made us feel really tended to. She gave us lots of ideas to explore Chania.
The location of hotel is perfect in that coming from bus station, it is not hard to find, it is in one of alley near the church, and so pulling your suitcase there isn't so bad. Stepping out of hotel you will find yourself surrounded by beautifully appointed resraurants and shops. Walking down to the water way is a 2min walk...centrally close to everything. A great hotel for the price and clean.
