Staff was great.. hotel was peaceful.. grounds were stunning.. only one issue was with our door in room 6 reported that hinge was broken and door wouldn't close without lifting it. reported Sunday left Tuesday...We were in room and realised that door wouldn't close on self closure.
Must say wouldn't stop me returning to this hotel, would recommend

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The 3 bed Lodge was spacious for the 5 of us and equipped with the basic essentials for self-catering (dishwasher tablets, cloths, washing up liquid, tea, coffee, sugar sachets etc). The pool/spa was most enjoyable and open from 8am to 8pm, without the need to book, which made it very convenient to pop along whenever we wanted.

We have stayed a good number of times with no problems. However this time we were given a run down 2 bedroomed lodge. We had maintenance men in for the first 2 hours of our 2 night stay fixing the fridge door and a stair gate falling off the wall. When I told reception how unhappy we were they did offer to move us. However, having unpacked and having 2 young children to feed, we didn't think it would be great to move.

This was a comfortable relaxing stay in the lodges. The restaurant offered a good menu and the service was good.
The leisure facility was also good but unfortunately the jacuzzi wasn’t working.
We weren’t able to access the games room either.
Nothing spoiled our stay and we would consider returning in the future.

We've been coming to Duchally for a good number of years. The lodge allocated in this trip was very tired/run down. There was building work going on in the adjoining property and on other properties close by.
Not ideal, but we were only there for 2 nights and still enjoyed the other facilities. E.g. Spa and a dining experience.

The grounds are beautifully maintained and in a stunning location. We enjoyed the landscape, the woodland, the rare breed chickens and the ducks on the lake.
The lodges are well designed and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the house martins feeding the chicks above on the eaves
The kitchen equipment could be improved.
It would be good to have bowls for mixing and for salads, baking dishes, serving dishes, a cafetière, quality kitchen knives, etc. it was not as well equipped for cooking in self catering as most I have stayed in.
The staff we encountered were all super helpful.

Best kept secret, up a narrow road. If getting away from it all is your thing, this country estate hotel & lodges is perfect. Having said that, it’s only 7-8 mins away by taxi from Gleneagles Hotel. Our hotel room (one of only 9), was well appointed. No air conditioning but there was a fan. Nice pool and gym. Good breakfast. The lodges look lovely and we will definitely be back to stay in one.

The property is tucked away in a beautiful, peaful location. We booked a 3 bedroom apartment and it was perfect. Very helpful staff. Great amenities. Nice estate. Family friendly with lots of activities to engage young kids.
Kitchen had adequate cutlery. And was stocked with milk , butter , bread and juice besides the standard coffee station. Full kitchen with dishwasher and laundry machine.
Beds were comfortable. Clean bathrooms.
Some areas for improvement - shower and toilet were a bit hard to operate. Would be handy to keep some salt and pepper for guests to use.

Fun relaxing 1 night stay in a 3 bedroom cottage. Leasure complex good with all you would expect and need for a family. I took the breakfast included option, which was a lovely cooked breakfast, etc. buffet and the kids loved the pancake making machine. The staff all very friendly and helpfull. Will hope to be back one day for a slightly longer stay. Loved the added bonus that you can us the lesuire complex for the rest of the day after you check out, plus the use of the free towels. Only thing is parking is a little bit of a premium next to your cottage, if you turn up later and there are is no electric chargers.

2 night stay in the hotel was excellent! Great hairdryer, mini fridge with complimentary water and shortbread, soft robes and slippers, ironing board, fan and extra heater.
Leisure centre was lovely and only a short walk from the hotel, with a lovely pond and outdoor seating too.
The whisky bar/gatehouse bar had a great selection of drinks and food was excellent (you can also order this to your room which came super fast)
Anna at reception was extremely friendly and helpful
Great location for nearby towns/cities and lots of walking spots

Great place for larger families

The on site lodges give a great hybrid option - hotel amenities and services, but with your own 2, 3 or 4 bedroom lodge to stay in (including with dog if need be). A bit like self catering, but much better (and all the essentials included on your arrival, so none of the self-catering hassle!). Restaurant good, breakfast too expensive so suggest self catering for that part, swimming and activities all great. Stunning location. Thoroughly recommend.

We stayed in one of the lodges and it was fantastic. Really well equipped and comfortable. Would definitely stay again. We had a baby with us, so had planned to get takeaway meals from the kitchen, but unfortunately they don't offer that anymore, but that was the only downside to our stay, everything else was perfect.

Dislikes - bar looked run down needs reupholstered. Chair fabric ripped. Looks like it needs a good deep clean. Tables scratched badly.

Took over 24 hours to heat up, tiny electric heaters on full. Maintenance team very helpful but did admit it will take 24 hours to heat up no matter what lodge we use. Had to sit in jackets for the day.
Ensuite bathroom has mould in the shower and extractor fan. Paint coming off walls. Windows do not close properly.
2nd bathroom has mould in the extractor fan. Paint coming off walls.
Bedroom - mattress needs replacing can feel all the springs. Window does not close properly.

Would not recommend lodge 701 at all.

Second time staying as a family in the lodges. Beautiful place, with nice pool and quiet gym area.

We did have a bit of an issue with double payment being taken, but this was refunded as soon as we made the manager aware.

Meal was nice and very well presented (though we were the only people eating so not much atmosphere). Staff all very professional and polite.

Sure we will be back again at some point.

Overall good stay, however lodges and all facilities you can see and use, they are all tired and need referbishment. Sadly in my opinion it is overpriced for what you get. Moreover they have nerve to let you know that electricity is capped to 10£ per day. You are already charging me a lot of money for the stay. I don't come to SPA to think about if I gone over electricity cap. This is unheard of in Europe, especially in Luxury Spa you are trying to aspire. Hospitality industry is only going downhill in UK in recent years and most UK hotels are now years behind the world.

I stay in many hotels throughout Scotland (business). I dont tend to leave reviews but made the exception on this occasion.
Only stayed for one night, and arrived fairly late but managed to use the spa facilities.
Spa was clean and relaxing.
All of the staff were very professional and friendly.
Rolms were excellent and I could not fault anything as it had everything the room would need including a shoe horn in the draw!
Very spacious and comfortable bed and pillows.
Breakfast was also very good.
Would definitely return to this hotel when next nearby on business.

OK for a short break. Staff on the most part are very welcoming and polite. The leisure centre is very good and staff very helpful. The bar is a bit hit and miss, usual stuff, unclean tables at times, having to wait to get served etc.....it seems to be the way of the world these days. Entertainment was interesting. Breakfast was fine, standard fayre, not excellent in terms of quality and wasn't very hot, just warm. We were served one morning and asked if we wanted toast with our coffees, next morning we weren't asked - just lacks a bit of consistency.

This is a very lovely property with easy access to the highway and close to Stirling without being in the city. Our apartment was spacious and very clean. All the necessities provided including laundry detergent. Would definitely stay again.

It was ideal for our party of 6 adults and 2 small children for 3 nights.
The grounds were well cared for, as was all the facilities in the pool, spa and children’s play sections.

Nice enough hotel, good condition etc. spa is good. Buy service was awful, arrived at 9pm, told bar was open until midnight then told to leave at 10.30. No bedsheets on one of the beds, night porter dumped a pile of sheets in the room and we had to put them on ourselves.

The hotel did eventually (after an hour of discussion) give a discount but it ruined what is a decent hotel otherwise.

Booked as a last minute getaway. Lodge was comfortable and clean but a little tired and possibly in need of updating. Staff at check in/out, dinner and the pool were all friendly and helpful. Bought food for lunch and dinner, found to be pretty average and not great value for money. If we returned we'd most likely eat in the lodge instead. The inflatable slide and football were definitely a hit with the kids, they also loved the pool!

Lovely set up for a family gathering. Lodges are nice - some parts have been updated and others less so but still nice. Bar / restaurant staff were very accommodating. A little bit isolated so unless that’s what you want, then be prepared to drive to other things. We drove to Crieff Hydro for the kids activities and came back to Duchally early evening. All in all, great short break and would definitely go back.

We had booked twice in a row. The manager tried to charge us £50 to clean the room. We were advised on arrival that we would be charged for extra electricity usage. This is not a hotel. It is short term rental lodges with no daily cleaning. Kids shouting in the playground next to the lodges until after 10pm. I would never stay there again.

The property doesn't deliver on the description and photos. It's noisy, with kids shouting until post 10pm from the playground in the evening, football crowd type singing from the bar until later. The rooms are too basic, with tight shower space, limited supply of shower gel, no conditioner and uncomfortable mattresses and pillows. On arrival, the receptionist, Ruby, didn't want us to have a door card per person, citing a shortage. We had to ask for the manager before she conceded. It was an awful start. I wouldn't stay here again. Overrated.
