Food was great, lots of choices on their buffet breakfast. Cleanliness is superb. I really love this property as you can get away from the chaos of beach front. Beach is not too far as well. The only thing that needs maintenance and improvement isthe shower area by the pool, otherwise, our stay was perfect.

Stayed there for 4 days 3 nights. Close location to everything. The breakfast buffet is excellent and they serve different everyday. Beach is 3 minutes walking distance. I’m not a fan to those beach front hotels because it to noisy and crowded. The hotel is just a little bit outdated but it’s very quiet.

pretty nice place and the people who work here are amazing. A little bit of a walk to the beach and even further of a walk to D mall but it’s pretty safe overall. The room was good, Ac and tv working properly. One thing i was kind of annoyed by was the shower. The Shower faucet was not functioning properly so i was showering with cold water for the whole stay.

a 3-5 minutes walk property to the beach. overall the place is awesome, safe, clean and had a very attentive staff. we stayed 2 rooms good for 6 and was huge, ac was cold and water pressure was no complains despite being on the 3rd floor. food from buffet breakfast was excellent and restaurant have delectable food with reasonable prices. pool was large enough and safe for kids. definitely would recommend if your ok to walk a few meters outside property to the beach.

Check-in was pretty quick. The lady at the desk was pleasant. The room does have this huge keychain, and a metal key is a bit difficult to carry around. Either way, the room is nice and spacious. The safe isn't bolted down, just a grab and go style. I don't travel with many values, so this didn't affect me much. The doors need weatherstripping to close the huge gap. It has a good location to and from the jetty, also not too far from the beach.

Our stay was supposedly overall great except for the front desk supervisor who gave us a hard time checking in to the Preferred suite that I booked where it showed a kitchen where we can do a light cooking. She denied all the suite amenities until I showed her all the features and pictures that made me picked that unit. We got the right unit that I booked eventually! Great breakfast buffet. Very great stay! We’ll surely back to this resort!

I have visited Boracay many times but this is the first time to stay Boracay Tropics. It is a nice facility.
We stayed on third floor. No elevator.
We tried hard to keep sand out of room, but difficult when in a beach town. It would be helpful if there was a foot wash at the bottom of the stairs.
When we arrived Aklan, there a person with a sign reading "Boracay Tropics" but not our names. He knew our names. We got in. He stayed with us all the way to hotel. He saved us a lot of time. It was great. I thought it was great the hotel offered this shuttle service. I have had it before with other hotels, but not all. However, when we arrived the hotel they told us the "fee" for this service. It was nowhere on the hotel website or stated anywhere in the hotel confirmation.

Nice and Peaceful Hotel Resort

Like before, the place is peaceful despite it’s location (road side & station 2-3).
It’s also nice that it’s near Station X for additional choices in restos.
The downside is, their wifi is super slow. But, that’s my least priority since I am on vacation.
I love their heated pool and super accomodating staff.

Sick from the Bottled Water

The bottle water that the hotel provided made us sick. We thought that since the bottled water was providing to us by Best Western that it would be safe, We were extremely careful with the with water elsewhere but thought the water the hotel provided would be safe. This turned out not to be the case which spoiled our entire stay at Boracay.

Hotel room and grounds- especially pool we're NOT as shown in pictures. Floors of room dirty. Roving dogs howled all night. Broken toilet, zero hot water, no elevators to third floor. Bad buffet. Front door rattled all night and fire alarm battery chirped for two days. No room cleaning unless you ask. Three guests but only two towels ? No blankets also. Also room price was quoted in pesos but deducted in Baht. That cost me 50% extra ! Not worth the price ! Poor location for Hotel. Staff was nice.

Where do I begin? We stayed in this hotel on Dec 13-16. The service was awesome! The breakfast buffet was excellent. They tasted well and had varieties of food to choose from and were different daily. The staff was amazing! Very helpful and were always smiling. They will brighten up your day. The location was perfect! It was 5-7 min walk to the beach. As soon as you walk out of the hotel, you cross the street and there are a lot of restaurants to choose from. The only thing I did not like was the flooring of the room as it was a little bit slippery. We definitely enjoyed our stay and will stay here again if we go back to Boracay.

Decent hotel in pretty good location

Upon arrival the hotel staff greeted us with iced teas for the family. Very friendly staff the entire time. Free breakfast for adults was actually pretty good! Can't complain about the food.

The room itself was clean and the AC worked great. However the beds and pillows were horrible. The mattress was like sleeping on a trampoline (hard and springy). I couldn't sleep very well at all for the 3 nights we were there. I complained to the front desk and they had housekeeping put a couple extra mattress covers on it but it wasn't enough to soften the bed. I appreciate the effort but it didn't help.

The pool wasn't as refreshing as I had hoped for. It felt like it was hotter in the pool than it was outside and it was HOT while we were there! I just wish there was a shallow end to the pool for kids. Or even a small kids pool.

The hotel was doing some maintenance while we were there so there was a strong odor or paint everyday when we went to the pool.

As for the location, it is on the main road going through the island. Just a 5 minute walk down an alley to get to the beach. Or a short trike ride to get to d'mall. Plenty of restaurants and little places to eat as well as little stores to buy water and snacks.

I gave this hotel 3 stars just because of the lack of comfort in the room. The staff was very kind and the location is good if you want to be away from all the craziness of the beach.

We had a super late arrival of almost 2am and the staff upgraded our room complimentary since they had availability. Hotel facilities and especially the pool and grounds were much smaller than I had expected.

Best Customer Service I have ever received.

This was my first solo trip, so I wanted a known hotel that was close to the action. My choice was perfect, I have never received such warm hospitality. I was met at Caticlan airport by a hotel rep & taken to the hotel. I received a really nice welcome drink (I don't know what it was but was lovely) & taken to my room. My room backed on to the pool area which was beautiful, but the main door faced the street. There is (what looks like) a new hotel being built directly opposite the hotel, work starts at 7:30am & can go on to as late as 10pm - it's not too offensive, but something to bear in mind. Also it is particularly noisy when it rains. The hotel organized excursions for me, it was walking distance to the D & E Mall (you don't realize how close until you get your bearings) take insect repellent with you as due to the amount of trees & especially in the rainy season there are gnats & they tend to follow you in when you open the door to your room, but the staff did come and spray the room for me. Breakfast was OK, nothing special & there were a lot of flies - the hotel is clean, just those annoying flies that feel they have the right to join you for breakfast. I ate in the breakfast most evenings, service was quick & with good variety. I cannot fault the place, would stay there again & recommend. Truly, lovely people.

Good location for the beach

The staff need training. We had great service from Jay (at breakfast), Rae (day spa) & the building cleaning lady. Lots of restaurant staff with no idea what to do.

We spent 12 nights at this hotel. Lots of staff but they seem to just stand around. We weren't once offered any bar or food service around the pool and we spent 4 hours at the pool every day. Head into the restaurant and there was always at least 6 staff just standing at the bar area.

Maybe it's shyness or just lack of training and supervision.

Also our room balcony. You have to climb the chair to sit on the chair, it's that small.

This hotel has the location and staff to be a first rate holiday venue.

A hotel with a western style and approach

This hotel offers standards comparable to western hotels and at a reasonable price. The rooms are large clean and well maintained and the pool areas is very comfortable to relax in. The grounds and facilities are kept in excellent condition but the internet was sometimes unreliable or slow. The restaurant has an excellent breakfast service that covers all tastes. The other meals are well presented with good size portions and a wide choice. The food prices are very competitive and I found them to be good value. The staff were always friendly and very helpful.
The hotel is a short walk from the beach which is not a problem as you are away from the noise and tussle of the beach area. The walk is very safe even at night as you pass the local police station. The big issue with the hotel is the building work going on at the back. to one one side and on the opposite side of the street. Expect a lot of construction noise from early morning to late in the day coupled with dust and sometimes smells. The constitutions nearby are a long way from completion so the issue will be there for many months to come. While not the hotels fault the hotel and the booking site should warn people of this work.

Nice hotel short walking distance to the beach

About a 5 minute walk to beach front. Away from the night party noise. Construction site going on next door (both sides)early morning noise to wake up to, although there is a lot of construction going on throughout Boracay.
No kids club even though it says on the website, only one restaurant with bare menu to choose from, need to go onto beach front for a meal of variety.Many choices at the Buffet breakfast with alternate varieties each day.
Would recommend to stay if you don't mind the walk each day, if travelling with young children it can be tiring walking each day.
Room service was available every day and anything requested to staff will be attended to.
Overall good quality and value hotel for price paid.

A lot of rooms had twin beds rather than one big bed which is strange.
Breakfast menu is average.
Had a lot of construction from other buildings when I stayed which was really noisy but I guess it shouldn't be a problem in the future.
It is 5min walk to the beach which really becomes a pain as you have to walk past a lot of touts, construction and its hot. Would pay extra to be closer or on the beach if possible.

Easy access & excellent service

Hotel is located at the busy main street, so it is easy to get on & off by tricycle. It is a walking distance to the White beach by a passage outside the hotel entrance. As there is a police station on the way to the beach from the hotel, it feels much safer after dark. Hotel services were great. All the hotel staffs were nice and helpful. Although the hotel needs some improvement in soundproof from the noisy street & loud guests in the hallway as well as softer pillows, other than that overall facilities were quite satisfying. Especially, the pool was quite nice for a quiet rest.

Very clean and nice resort, though small. Beach is 10 minute walk down a muddy path. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Needed to change rooms because of construction noise and got an upgrade. Also, they were helpful with the airport transfer to Caticlan. However, they were not helpful with regard to activity planning. You are on your own there.

Priced Right.

Excellent staff! Complimentary drinks (iced-tea) upon arrival and ease of check in. The Dormitory Room where we stayed was large with a mini balcony, AC and Cable TV worked perfectly fine. Distance to the beach wasn't too bad, probably a 10 min walk or less. Complimentary breakfast had a nice variety with unlimited coffee/drinks. We checked out early (5:30am) to catch an early flight out of Kalibo, the staff had even pre-arranged for a take out breakfast which came in handy for the 1.5 hr drive. They also assist transfers to Jetty Port if needed..

A quiet garden with pool away from the beach

The hotel facilities are a bit dated (several years old) but they've managed to maintain it well. Breakfast buffet offers variety, and attentive service. Garden is well landscaped, and pool is clean, and a favorite of the guests even during rainy days. Was uncomfortable with many mosquitoes inside the room that kept me from sleeping well at night.

Rundown hotel with friendly staff

The hotel room was old & rundown but clean. Rooms need urgently some renovation. Room was very noisy, construction noise during the day, street noise at night.
The advertised playroom was just an empty room, no toys or anything to play with. Pool tiles were very slippery, my son fell couple of times. Overall, the hotel is rated way to well in my opinion, even though staff was very friendly, I would not go back there.
