Front desk was very helpful and courteous and so did the other employees except the bad experience that happened the second day December 30, 2025. Breakfast was being served but it took longer than usual and the server ignored my request so I have to asked the kitchen myself for vinegar. It looks like if you don’t give a tip during breakfast meal, you will be treated like you don’t exist. We’re tired senior citizens who just want to enjoy our stay but that bad experience of getting our meal last even we’re ahead of the other customers. The following days, we ate outside so not to feel bad for the way they treated us.
I gave tips to people who deserve it like the front desk and housekeepers. Josie from the front desk was grateful about it and also the guy who took us to our room. I forgot his name and also the other front desk receptionist who also received my gratitude. Thank you!

Although, the location of this hotel is very good but i would never recommend this hotel with anybody planning a trip to Boracay. The room is old and badly need renovation. Upon check in, they give you a paper full of rules especially fees if their are stains in the bed or the furniture upon check out but when i got in the room, the table was full of stain and dilapidated. When we try to dine at their restaurant for breakfast or dinner. No server came to us for 30mins. Service is poor, facilities is poor. Avoid this hotel.

From the very first time we arrived at the hotel it was a big disappointment until we left the hotel,there were problem on the ac the staffs are rude in a way that my sister in law is a senior citizen and ask them if they can heat up the food for her but the staff said to go to the kitchen. The place is in disrepair. Not kept up. The pool was dirty. And need paint and cleaning everywhere. I booked 2 rooms for 7 nights but left after the first night lost my payment for 6 days. I tried to get help from Hotels.com but the numbers they had for them did not work. Everything at the bar was out of stock or not available. Say it is 4 star hotel but 2 stars is being generous. Free breakfast was almost all gone and what little they had was not good. Upon checking they wanted a huge deposit for the rooms which they say is consumable. But 500 per night per room is way too much when Hotels.com says 1000 per room. Don’t stay here you will be sorry. List allot of money. But moved to a difference to hotel and saved our vacation

So this hotel is located right on white beach. From the map it seems a little far from the action but it is in a perfect location. For the price I think it was a good value. We paid about 2500peso a night, but it was during holy week so things where more expensive.

The hotel is a little dated but the rooms are big and the beds where nice and soft. It also had nice strong water pressure in the shower.

Now for the the minor issues:

Included in our stay was breakfast for 2 people, we had 3 in our group. Breakfast is 600p and definitely nothing special. I only woke up and had it once but it's ok 3/5. You can find a really nice breakfast near by for a little less.

Same thing with the pool. We only used it once and there was no one there. When we went in they asked for our room number and you are allowed 2 pool passes pee day per person. So they wanted to charge another 600p per person. The pool is not that nice so our friend got out. We did not get charged. The pool is a 3/5.

I had dinner by the pool and I got a really decent bacon burger for 500p. It was at least 8 to 10oz patty with American bacon. I would have gotten it again.

My friend local friend came by the hotel 2 days for dinner and drank in our room for a while. During check out they tried to charge us 2000p for her. But we didn't pay that.

Also for having a 3rd person they tried to charge us and extra 1300p per day. We didn't pay that either.

Also there was 8k p refundable deposit which is high .

The staff is all very friendly and helpful. The main roads and the area surrounding it is still full of construction work. But the beach and the view from the hotel is stunning (the hotel is almost on the beach). The pool is a bit smaller than some of the hotels further away from the beach. But with the view from the infinity pool and the sea you don't really care. For the rest: the rooms are clean, the beds are soft, the breakfast is alright, and the bar is well stocked.

The location of this hotel was very good (right on the beach). The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately, that’s the only pleasant thing I can say about this hotel. The room was extremely dated and dirty. There was sand and filth everywhere. The pool pictures are photoshopped. It was actually very dirt and Not maintained. The restaurant had a very limited menu and didn’t seem fresh.
The beach was a few steps away which was there only saving grace.

The hotel was still under construction (renovation) and there was much dust every where including in the rooms. Some hallways including ours was complete darkness at night (no light). bedsheets were smaller than mattresses and while we told them and they changed our room, nothing changed about that. Water sink was clogged and air conditioner was very noisy at nights. For the price, we could have got similar style hotel in a much better condition. The staff were very nice but these were something out of their control and the management was very poor. WiFi connection was also very poor.

Not best ever experience. Ants in the room, wifi on/off and with speeds lower than my mobile internet. Noisy doors systems, everytime some other door from other room was screaming for minutes. Bar has a limited choices of drinks also. Not a bad place but clearly expected a lot more for the price. Staff was nice, no complain there.

No hot water in shower, pool dirty, can't connect to weak wifi signal in the room, hotel location not great because the path it takes to get there can't fit a tricycle so have to get dropped off half way there and walk with luggages. Also, taking taxi from there is a hassle because we have to walk out to main road which takes 10mins.

Dont stay here, this should be a 3 or 2 star hotel

We stayed in a penthouse suite. The room lights was so dim we had to ask for them to change the bulbs.
Wifi signal in the room was weak, we can't connect to it using two different phones (Samsung Galaxy s6, Nexus 6). Breakfast not that great. We have to ask for a safety deposit box because there wasn't one in our room. The swimming pool was dirty, not maintained, outdated, and half full so no one swimming in it. The worst thing was there was no hot water and not much water coming out of the shower. We told them about it and they send someone to fix it. Next time we shower, it wasn't fixed. Told them again on second day, they try to fix it again, still not fixed. On 3rd day, we can't take it anymore showering with cold water so we left even though we booked for 4 nights because it was ruining our honeymoon. Also, it's far from main road where you get dropped off by taxi so had to walk with luggages for 10 mins before you can get to the hotel.

There seem to be a mistake in my booking, there were 3 of us (2 adults, 1 youth & in my booking at the hotel it only says 2, so they said they need to charge me an additional $40/night for an additional person because the room I reserved was a Deluxe and can only accommodate 2. I honestly didn't know if it was an overlook on my part or it was glitch in hotels.com but there's not much I will not be able to cancel my reservation anymore. So they offered me an upgrade to a junior suite which can accommodate up to 5 people for an additional $70/night. So I agreed and I thought we had solved the problem. However, when I was about to transfer to the junior suite and was arranging for payment, I was told that they still need to charge the additional $40 on top of the $70 because of the additional person. The reason I was upgrading to junior suite is because it can accommodate up to 5 people and they were telling me that Deluxe was only good for 2 people. So in total they would like to charge me an additional $110 a night on top of my existing reservation of $65/night which totals to $175, they are crazy. So I end up making separate reservation for my hubby in a nearby hotel which is way cheaper than what I would have spend in this less than mediocre property. The property is not worth $100. It was very small, and they advertise that there is Wi-Fi, but they knew well it was not working at all in the rooms. A/C was not working well & was dripping to the floor & very noisy.

Only one light in the room, requested facial tissues and iron and they told me that they don't have in the hotel. room was very hot when I arrived around 8:00 PM. Air conditioner was dropping water on the bed. some insects were flying all around the hotel and inside the room and the bathroom.

The room was fine except the wi fi was not functioning and in one of our rooms staff were requested to attend to the room safe, but no action was forthcoming. The pool and surrounds require some maintenance work. Jacuzzi was not working.

I checked in, stayed for a couple of hours, long enough to find a new hotel. Then I checked out. It was the size of a college dorm room. It was dark. My window faced the elevator, you could see through my window directly into the glass elevator. Everyone had stuff hanging from balconies. All balconies faced inward toward each other. Furniture beat up. Air condition loud, water stains. No breeze in corridor. Pool awful. I was not impressed. Staff seemed to be a little young and taken back by me not wanting to stay. I expected a 4 star hotel, presented with and old musty college dorm room!

DEFINITELY not as advertised; WOULD NOT recommend

A lot of amenities advertised were NOT available in actuality -- we booked the penthouse suite and there was no in-room wifi, no microwave, no minibar, no laundry facilities. We booked the airport shuttle and called multiple times to confirm, yet when we got to the airport there was nobody there to pick us up. The shuttle simply never showed up, and we never even got so much as an apology when we got to the property and complained about it. The breakfast buffet was terrible -- a lot of the items available were very poorly disguised leftovers that were repurposed as breakfast food items. The staff were a lot more polite and accomodating to my husband (who is Caucasian) than they were to me (Filipino) -- he got better service than I did, and he would frequently get greeted while the staff ignored me completely, even when we were togeher. The pool was under filled and wasn't very clean, the water seemed barely chlorinated (if at all), several tiles around the pool area were broken/dislodged and would ooze liquid when you stepped on them. There were bits of plaster on the wet floor in the hallways after it rained, and there was animal feces in the hallway that was there for the last 2 days of our stay -- probably because there stray cats wandering around in the place.

Worst hotel ever. The room condition was run down. Even the soap dish is chapped n mirror rusty. Room was sandy! The lighting v dimm. N at nite we wanted to on a small light b4 sleeping.. but none too small.. even e bathroom light can see thru the room cos its a glass panel. If u take shower, ppl in e room can see your reflection. Not good if you want privacy. Buffet lunch was not good either. Bread too hard. Staffs are good though. And lobby facing the beach. With bar playing good musics. For the price its defitinitely not worth it! To access the hotel, you will need to go thru a lane..no vehicle can drop u infront. Though on e way back, the hotel provide staff to carry your luggage n drop u off the main road. There are soveniers shops around the lane n there is a halal filipino shop too! Serving tasty food!

Great location and view. On a beautiful beach with plenty of shops and restaurants. People are super friendly and accommodate your needs. Breakfast buffet was good but could be better with more choices. The hotel needs to be remodeled but for the price and location I recommend to anyone who want to get away and wants to be in the middle of everything.

Pathetic Hotel on Nice Location

Rooms are old, Staff is clueless every time. Funny thing is after seeing the 3 star rating review i dare to go there. Now i believe on your reviews expedia.
If Expedia & hotel are saying they are 4 star hotel then its not true they are not more than 2 star. Better to live in any beach hotel.

There is one only good thing here that is breakfast, have it before or, near to 8-9 because after that you will see small fly and mosquito on fruits and breads.
If you are going to stay here best of luck and good Wishes... :)

Although the location was good the staff was not that friendly. The pool area is not what you would expect for such a new hotel, the water didn't look clean and it was hard to get service there. It was quite over priced for what we received. The service was friendly, however the room was very small, we booked because it had a balcony, something we enjoy using, we double checked that it had a balcony when checking in & they confirmed yes. When we got to our room our first impressions weren't great unfortunately, very poky bed area, bathroom & air con are both out dated, then when I went to open the door i was disappointed it was a very narrow clothes drying terrace that u can only just stand on not a balcony in my eyes so I believe that it should not be promoted as one. It did include free wifi in the room, however because the room wasn't that appealing we didn't spend much time in there. The breakfast was very basis with not much to choose from. We did not stay one night at this hotel, as the first 30 minutes was enough to put us off. We checked out and went to a far better hotel called the Red Coco nut. Main problems were, we had to carry our bags 300 metres through mud and slush to get to the hotel. Then we had to deal with confusion with the hotel staff, they took us to the wrong floor and room. They could not open the room door, and once we finally got into the room, the room furniture was worn out, thread bare, there was no wifi. When I tried to voice our concerns in a polite manner I was told there was nothing they could do to fix any of our problems, and that every one had to carry the bags to the hotel the same way. When we move to the Red Coca Nut everything was clean and worked fine. They even sent a bell boy to collect our bags at no extra cost. On our final departure the staff still tried to argue the point that service was great as the new bell boy carried our bags out of there hotel

Tried to check in with friends and was told my room was booked at another location. When I checked the voucher it clearly was this hotel. The hotel staff blamed hotels.com. As the hotel was fully booked I had no choice but to stay in the other hotel while my friends were in this hotel. In the end I swapped with a friend and did stayed here the last 2 nights. Breakfast was a terrible buffet, hotel is just full of package tour groups making a lot of noise. Shower needed to be fixed in the night and safe did not work. Room looked into a courtyard with another room straight in front. Would not recommend and will call hotels.com to find out what went wrong with the reservation as the booking was made 6 months prior. Really ruined the holiday for us. Station 1 is far better location, with better hotels and service for the same price.

Had booked the \"Presidential Suite\" for 4 days. The hotel is very poorly kept, the staff cluless. The room was your regular motel type room with outdated beaten up furniture. Absolutely nothing special about, the AC did not work for two days. The breakfast is the cheapest stuff you can get in a 2 star hotel. They still charge 250 USD a night which is a big price for the Phillipines. Stay away. Unless you expect 2 star service and property...

The penthouse room was huge and very nice. The location is perfect and beach front. The safe box did not work and was not bolted to the wall. The water pressure of hot water need to be fixed and pillows need to be fluffier. Overall the standard of the resort compared to the price was okay.

Very courteous staff, clean, quiet, comfortable room. There was some construction going on in the daytime so not all areas were finished but this didn't distract too much from the overall quality. Beach bar was a great place to watch the sunset. We would stay here again.

The hotel is not very old, but was never finished properly and is under remodel. The restraurant was closed. A simple breakfast was included in the meeting room. Rooms are fair size and good appointments, but plumbing leaks. Some rooms have flat screens. Air conditioning has led lights that stay on all night and can be disturbing.
They charged for a small bucket of ice in the room.
The happy hour is from 3 to 9 pm on the beach at 2 for 1.

In my opinion this hotel is overpriced. On the plus side the rooms are clean and in pretty good condition and some of the staff are very friendly. But being in front of boat station 3 means you will have many boats coming and going during the day. This means more beach sellers approaching you with stuff to sell and people being loaded and unloaded from various boat trips on the beach literally right in front of the hotel. This goes on almost constantly throughout the day. For us that meant that we would go somewhere else on the beach everyday. Hardly the point of a beach side hotel. Also expect this hotel to have many asian/chinese guests.

The Crown Regency appears to be one of the newest properties on White Beach, the top tourist spot in Boracay. It is at the quieter end of White Beach but only a short walk away from all the nightlife. The public areas of the property are unimpressive and the restaurant is tiny, but this is hardly an issue as White Beach is the dining and drinking epicentre of the island. The penthouse room we stayed in was huge - it could probably have been marketed as a junior suite. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was adequate with all the amenities you would expect at this pricepoint. I was a little disappointed that there was no balcony (the standard rooms all have small balconies) and no view, but again, relatively few properties in White Beach offer beachviews, and in 30 seconds' walk you are on the beach anyway. One positve of this is that the room was very quiet. On balance I would probably stay there again if the price was right, but there are several other properties I would probably choose first if the availability was there.

The service was great but we had to change rooms three times due to building maintenance, and poor internet access.

Ask if the reservations are complete before staying here.

Crowne Regency Beach - Borocay

Hiya there are major building works going off next door to this hotel and its very noisy from 7am. Staff were all very young and didnt have a clue! Very noisy. A long walk to boat station 2 and 1.

Never Again

This review is not about Boracay. I would go back to the island in an instant, but I definitely would not stay at the Crown Regency Beach Resort.
1. Nobody was at Caticlan airport to pick us up as previously arranged.
2. They double booked us. We reserved the Presidential Suite and was told it was not available the first night. Offered $20 in food/drink/services.
3. Put us in the Penthouse suite. Got to room and the AC was not on. Waited 20 minutes but it never got cool. Had to change rooms.
4. Had to ask for key to small refrigerator.
5. Breakfast was small and food was never hot.
6. Accidentally broke glass at breakfast and they charged us 150 Php!! Can you believe that?
7. Bad odor throughout.
8. Construction ongoing. Didn't really bother me but I heard a British couple complain to which the front desk staff replied, \"Do you want me to go over and ask them to keep the noise down?\" Seriously? Did you really just say that?
9. Very low water pressure. Hot water? Hopefully!
9. So much staff but they never seemed to know who was doing what.
10. Tried to raise the price of previously agreed upon airport transfer fee. Had to print email to prove agreement.

Summary: Felt like a customer, not a guest.

Never again.
