Our experience staying at Paradise Garden has been awful. From the moment we arrived. We were waiting in a very long line to check in. Despite the check in time being at 2pm, we were finally in our room by 2:40pm. Our room was not to our expectations based on when we were booking, pictures were not as advertised. We had no sea view as advertised. The amenities were lacking for the price we paid for the room. The towel that were given to us were both heavily stained. One of them appeared to have blood stains which we immediately brought to house keepers attention. Our first night the A/C turned off on us and we woke up sweating, then the Wi-Fi stopped working as well. Our hot water both in the sink and shower were out of function. We called several times to get this addressed and their engineering team could not resolve the hot water as the circuit breaker kept shutting off and which interrupted the tankless water heater. I was resorted to taking cold showers while I had a sinus. I am beyond disappointed in our stay.

The front desk staff member, Lien, was exceptionally accommodating and helpful. While our rooms were cleaned, housekeeping only serviced them once during our four-day, three-night stay, and we also had to make do with a single towel throughout our visit. On our first day at the breakfast buffet, we were unfortunately mixed with a \"kagawad\" group, where the food quality was noticeably subpar. Three staff members who allowed us entry even inquired about our room number but failed to clarify that we were in different groups until we had finished. I also returned to the buffet to accompany my teenage daughter who had woken up late, which was quite frustrating. I felt that the experience did not reflect the value of what we had paid for. The second and third breakfasts, however, were satisfactory.

Muddy water coming out of the faucet in bath tub

We stayed in south wing pool view with bath tub.. Rooms 102, 103 and 104.
The water in the bath tub faucets in the 3 rooms are muddy.
We need to pass to narrow aisle to reach our rooms. The aisle is always flooding whenever it rains.
No access on the pool and the pool view is blocked by plants.. paying higher rate in these rooms are useless.

We got another room in summer house 1st floor. It is cheaper. Though it has no bath tub, but it is cleaner and nearer to the grand pool. This is a better option than the more expensive room in South wing pool view.

Check out time is 12nn. At 12nn, i called the reception if we can just do quick shower and one of the receptionist said to not just exceed until 1pm. The 2 other rooms went out before 1pm. My senior mom took a little longer to finish taking a bath and fix her things. She went out of the room at 1pm. My brother who was staying on the adjoining room told the staff that he will just wait for my mom to finish. Because of this, the receptionist is insisting us to pay half of the daily room rates even with only few minutes extension. Im saying few minutes extension because initially, we were told that its ok to extend a little but not exceeding 1pm.

The receptionist said that once we pay for the extension, we can stay until 6pm. I told her that we should leave the resort at 2pm for our 5pm flight and staying in the hotel will never be an option.

After about 15 minutes of arguement, they eventually gave back our full deposit.

Great hotel terrible check in

Loved the hotel! But the check-in made me never want to book again. Two ladies in front were speaking tagalo believing we didn’t understand and speaking bad about us. We agreed to 1800pesos for round trip transportation from the airport to hotel. But upon arrival they tried to charge us 2500 per person. I showed them the confirmation and email but they wouldn’t budge. They at no point showed me paperwork proving the price difference just kept telling me to pay for over an hr. Mind you they made other guests pay but I didn’t budge. The two girls were speaking under their breath about us and once they realized we understood they stopped. When I asked for their name they refused and kept a scarf in front of name tag the entire time. I asked multiple times for their names but they ignored and refused. I loved the hotel and amenities but I was left upset with the check in.

Overall the place was good as expected other than the unpleasantly looking construction surrounding the walkways to our rooms. It doesn’t make you feel relax or on a vacation and it’s hard to ignore everytime you pass by the workers. They could’ve mentioned something about it at the lobby before assigning us the rooms so we have options or even if we don’t.

Great location friendly staff (they remind you about extra charges obsessively). Construction on property and next door from morning to night. Easy walk to beach, restaurants and trike rides easy to catch. Staff was extremely helpful when we needed medical attention having a nurse and driver on site was excellent.

My only complaint is I tried to book a door to door transfer and no one seems to care to take me seriously. We waited at the airport for a few minutes assuming maybe they don’t normally confirm any bookings as I have a room booked so any payments should be settled at the end of our stay.
Then finally queued up to purchase at the terminal instead.
The rest of the stay at the hotel was great. Staff were very helpful.

The positive is it is situated right at the beach and the staff was friendly and accommodating .

The cons are the summer house was surprisingly dated but clean enough . The bathroom needs work especially the ceiling.. looks moldy since we had the ground floor room. Water could be seeping through from the top floor. Seems like every little thing has extra charge such as bathroom towels. They will charge you if you stain the bedsheets - like what? Anyways Boracay was lovely and at times crowded but that’s to be expected.

i was placed way in the back. outside, it smelled like sewer. in my room, if i don't use a bug spray before i leave in the morning, my room would have full of mosquitoes & ants. the toilet seat kept slipping off every use & i had to fix the toilet seal that traps the water in the tank myself. yeay!

My fiancé and I planned to be here for 2 weeks. Upon arrival we were given a room completely different than what we paid for.

Once told, they moved us to a cheaper room for the same cost without reimbursement.
This building had no AC , and the AC in the room took an entire day to cool down. (Which required us to stay in the room because the ac in the room only worked when in the room. And remember the building had no ac running, so anytime we left our room would heat up immensely)

We had roaches in our room and the patio was an amazing smell of sewage.

DO NOT DRINK THE WATER HERE, including the complementary drink as the ice is not good either. They do not serve clean water.

We only ate at the property and after our second meal( which was break fast) we both gotsick with diarrhea and an upset stomach.

After the second day we had to leave the island to seek medical attention because of their lack of care.

I made the property aware of everything because they told me they would only give my deposit back if I told them why I was checking out early. I asked for a refund and they said i would need to call Expedia since I booked with them.

To reiterate we stayed 2 days out of the 14 days booked. Even though we were put into a cheaper room they refused to refund anything to Expedia.

When Expedia tried to get the property purposely did not answer the calls and choose to not give the refund back.

I would never stay here again. I lost over 900$.

Traveling with seniors could be challenging but I was really impressed from the start. The shuttle
Service from and to the airport was such a breeze we were treated lime VIPs! Breakfast buffet was good with lots of choices. The only thing I would suggest is perhaps golf cart service around the huge property for the elders. They had a wheelchair which was never offered. The room was nice but was way in the back of the property, again a wheelchair would have been nice. Other than that they made our first time in Boracay awesome we are considering coming back! Thank you!

I love Paradise Garden. It is an awesome resort. The food, the grounds, the staff, the swimming pool, the beach, awesome. The problem was the Tryst Restaurant. The staff at this restaurant was not good. Many times they forgot things when we ordered them, or brought the wrong thing. They were nice and attentive, but not good with the orders. And the food is the most important thing when you go to a restaurant. Also, they were inconsistent with orders, meaning if you ordered something one time and you liked it, and you ordered it again, it would be completely different the next time.

If you are in a cheaper room which means you have to go to the buffet for breakfast which is a push and shove contest with the literally hundreds of Chinese and Korean group booking guests.

Disappointing and poorly managed

Location is great, the overall facilities are ok although a bit tired. Everything other than the physical venue was very disappointing and frustrating. Check-in took half an hour and required me to email them a copy of my reservation twice - showing them the printout was not enough. There are two small pools, but towels only at one of them, 5 min walk away from the other one. No towels at the beach, have to go take them from the pool first. Had to bring a receipt for the beach towels before they would exchange them.Other things that matter and are very easy to do were also a mess - like bed not made up properly, restaurant staff completely disorganized - was run after and accused of not paying the restaurant bill, 5 minutes after it was settled, and I was one of only three tables with guests at the time.
Overall this could be a much more pleasant stay if the policies were changed and the staff better trained... Would not recommend.

Hotel was under renovation, so lots of noise, materials and men working. Aside from that we loved the spacious room that we got, the buffet breakfast was wonderful and the staff was very warm and polite...the hotel is located on the beachfront, so it's a short walk to all of the top attractions on the main strip.

This hotel is perfectly located on the beach just a short walk from the busy Station 2. I would say the location is perfect within easy walking distance. The beach down this end is quieter and cleaner.
Unfortunately the staff at the hotel are very unaccommodating. The hotel itself is fine. One other tip for Western visitors, don't bother paying for breakfast, there are many food options just outside the hotel on the beach side. Overall I loved my stay in Boracay.

I found the staff very friendly and helpful. The facility has a great pool . I was there in the rainy season and it was nice to have such a nice pool. Access to the beach is nice. When compare to other hotels that I observe on my walk along station 2 and 3 I felt Paradise was a good choice, The off season rates were decent.

A room with no balcony overlooking a chicken farm and dump. When checking in, told have to eat all food on plate at breakfast or be charged extra fee, constantly questioned by security if staying at the hotel, when checking out all room charges broken down into taxes and fees but sum does not equal total amount actually charged.

Super Services and very friendly staff

I had a wonderful time with my partner. The hotel was very clean and the staff was so helpful in every sense of the word and I would definitely recommend anyone to this hotel. Apart from the above the transportation back to the Airport was well coordinated.
The bottom line is that I was more than impressed with everything is this friendly hotel and we are looking forward to another visit this year God willing!!

Hotel has no Hot water in the Bath tub and the room is small for been a one bedroom suite, over all the Hotel is good its very clean and has outstanding security everywhere. Feels very safe. The resort was peaceful and very clean, even over the Christmas period when we stayed. It's a stones throw from the beach and main footpath which has all the local bars and restaurants. It is also only a 15 minute drive from the harbour where you land on the Island. Friendly staff and relaxing atmosphere.

Paradise Garden: Good location, grounds

We chose the Paradise Garden for it's location- right in the middle of White Beach, the centre of the action, but set back far enough to avoid the noise with nice, sparse grounds and a great pool. The service is OK, the rooms quite basic (think one set of lighting, few extras). As for previous reviewer talking about being 'offered' various unsavoury things, we didn't get offered anything (at all on the island) so this is clearly incorrect currently (2011). Good hotel for a short stay. If you are with a partner, and you want a quality hotel with great service, views etc then go well away from main beach to elsewhere on the island. Downside is you will have to get a 15min taxi to shops, restaurants, shopping etc. This hotel is ok for a short stay where you are going to be out on the water mostly, not hanging about the hotel.

1. internet is extremely slow and a lot of interroptions,
2. food is not as good as the hotel itself
3.funny to see their translation from English to Chinese in the bathroom. As a Chinese, I could not understand their translated Chinese if I don't know English.. Suggest them to redo it so that we Chinese who does not understand English can understand.

I was at the hotel for 4 nights.
I had a one bed roon suite, it really need to be up dated, the Kitchen looks as if it was from a 1950s TV show. But none of that matters becouse you are not allowed to bring any thing to your room to cook, \"so what good is the kitchen?\"
The staff was very nice and did every thing they could for you.
But the rooms really need to be up dated and get some new TVs, one would thing if you were to get a one bedroom suite, there would be a TV in the bedroom, there is none

Stayed 3 nights and absolutely loved it. Perfect service from charming young staff. Very good food offered with 3 buffet meals per day (lunch & dinner at the beach; no charge for breakfast). Very nice large swimming pool. Sun-shaded lounging on the beach. Good security staff. Highly recommended. (Tip: take mosquito repellent with you to Boracay no matter which hotel you choose because the little monsters will find you there.)

Needs to improve their customer service a lot! Specially upon arrival, to make customer feel comfortable and welcome. They just gave me a glass of juice without any say. Staff needs to be more warm and helpful. I have to ask all the time what activities are available. Staff must be more informative to their customer!. I did not find this at all.
Although I was able to join a group to do Island hopping upon my request.That was nice.Staff needs to be more be helpful and vibrant.

Breakfast buffet was free but food that needs to be warm was cold,although the breakfast area was at the garden area and was comfortable.

A good 3 minute walk to the ocean front was very nice and relaxing for me, even though I prefered to be closer to the ocean. I liked that.

It was a quiet place to relax untiI you go to the ocean front and entertain yourself.

I will rate this hotel as a probaly a 2.5 to 3 star hotel.
The rate should be a little lower.

An OK place to stay if everywhere

An OK place to stay if everywhere else is fully booked!
Me and my boyfriend (we're from Europe) stayed at One MGM, because all of the other hotels were fully booked. The hotel is located at boat station 3, a few mins from the beach. The resort stretches towards the beach.The resort has a lot of tall trees but the place looks neglected in some parts. The breakfast was disappointing but I suppose suits the palets of locals or Koreans (sweet sauasages, rice, carbonara, DRY rice, a \"selection\" of fruits consisting of only water melon..what about he infamous sweet mangoes?!?!, sweet bread, marmalade..no jams, pasta, not very appetising salad bar...). Also, for dinner you have to walk down to the beach where there's a buffet overrun by locals. Also, the rooms are big, but the bathrooms, furniture and decor are very old fashioned. Beware of building works...!!There's not a good reflection in the price you pay. I suppose you're paying for the acres of ground they own and hardly maintain.

Bad service, the personal in the reception is not help ful at all. We needed help regarding our booking and they asked us insted to go and buy a sim card to call the reservation desk at the hotel. This is EXTREM bad customer service. We paif over 300 USD and did not lift a finger to help us.

Regarding the hotel: the pictures are not representabel to how it looks like in reality. It shows pic of a beach bar wich dont exsist.

毛布と毛布カバーが上下逆になっているのが気になりました。
スタッフは概ね親切ですがレストランの一部のスタッフは愛想がなかったです。
朝食はハラルが中心のようです。
ホワイトビーチ沿いなので買い物や外部のレストランには不自由しません。

So lala. Nicht das, was wir erwartet hatten. Zu laute Musik von draußen war im Zimmer zu hören. Unsere Hotelzimmer waren gut, die Zimmer anderer Verwandter jedoch nicht. Die Rezeptionistin Leiterin (Supervisor) war schlecht. Sie verlangte immer einen höheren Preis pro Nacht. Es gab keine Alternativen. Obwohl wir für viele Tage bezahlt hatten, war sie unhöflich und wenig hilfsbereit. Wir möchten uns bei den anderen Rezeptionisten bedanken, die freundlich waren und uns sehr geholfen haben, ein gutes Zimmer zu bekommen. Wir möchten uns auch beim Frühstückspersonal bedanken, das unseren Eltern beim Servieren des Essens geholfen hat.

Slitet och nergånget, dyra priser i sin servering

Slitet och nergånget, fuktskador på väggar inomhus och sliten exteriör. Rätt få solstolar och alternativen var sittstolar. Flertalet pooler varav den ena hade servering i poolen som tog kraftigt överpris på dryck så som öl, 244 pesos jämfört med på stranden där det pendlade mellan 110-150 ungefär. Har bott på betydligt finare hotell med poolbar som tog samma priser som på stranden, 125 pesos. Även restaurangen som tillhörde hotellet som låg nere vid stranden tog betydligt högre priser än de andra. Har säkert varit ett fint hotell under sina glansdagar men behöver en uppfräschning. De renoverar delar av hotellet , och smällde högt med rivning eller dylikt på morgonen vid kl 8 en lördag. Personalen trevlig och hjälpsam dock

Vi modtog først en besked dagen før vores ankomst om, at vi skulle betale 1500 pesos i depositum, men ved ankomst krævede de 5000 pesos. Jeg påpegede, at de havde skrevet noget andet, og vi endte med at betale 3000 pesos som depositum. Vi havde bestilt et værelse, men fik et mindre værelse end forventet, med udsigt til en væg. De viste os flere værelser, som alle havde en muggen lugt, og et værelse, hvor vi skulle igennem en byggeplads for at komme til, og hvor poolen var lukket. Vi brugte tre timer på at se disse værelser.

Værelset, vi endte med, havde myrer næste dag, som også kom ind i vores ting. Vi informerede dem om problemet, og de lovede at sprøjte, men det blev aldrig gjort. Da vi kom tilbage og stadig havde myrer, kontaktede vi dem igen, og de tilbød at sprøjte, men vi nægtede, da vi havde børn på værelset. Til sidst blev vi flyttet til et andet værelse. Inden da havde vi også set et andet værelse, som heller ikke var tilfredsstillende. Vi havde ikke mulighed for at få mad eller noget som helst på værelset. Servicen på hotellet var utrolig dårlig. De påstod at have opgraderet vores værelse, men det var det dårligste sted, vi har boet på indtil videre. Dette er vores tredje ophold på Boracay, og servicen her var langt under standarden sammenlignet med de andre steder, vi har boet.

Hotellet er meget slidt og dårligt vedligeholdt (se eventuelt billeder), så vær opmærksom på, hvad du bestiller, hvis du vælger dette hotel.

Boracay

Väldigt trevligt men stort hotellområde med många pooler att använda. Vi bodde i ett av summerhousen. Seg incheckning men i övrigt snabb service. Stor frukostbuffe. Kan starkt rekommenderas.
