I recently stayed at Henann Regency & Spa and found the overall experience disappointing.
From the moment of arrival, the reception lacked warmth and hospitality. The staff immediately requested the deposit without offering a proper greeting, welcome drink, or even a simple inquiry about our journey. These small gestures would have made a meaningful difference.
Upon entering our room, I took a quick shower and discovered that the drain was clogged, causing water to back up. Attempts to contact housekeeping were unsuccessful as the phone was not working, and my partner had to go to reception to report the issue. When maintenance arrived, he promptly attributed the problem to hair in the drain, despite the fact that I had not washed my hair.
We were then relocated to the adjacent room; however, the Wi-Fi connection there was consistently poor throughout our stay. It was only the night before our departure that a staff member informed us that certain rooms have Wi-Fi dead spots, including ours. If this is a known issue, appropriate measures such as installing Wi-Fi boosters should be implemented.
At the breakfast buffet, no explanation of the process was provided, leaving us to navigate it on our own.
The check-out experience was similarly unsatisfactory. The receptionist did not inquire about our stay and immediately proceeded to deduct a fee from the deposit due to a lost key card. When I requested a feedback form, her tone was discourteous, and she stated it would be provided

Am not filipino citizen anymore would they give me my room on time) then l follow up many times until they give us a room. They give us a room last room besides the cleaning and storage room. We just didn’t complain anymore so we walk in the stairs everyday seeing the cart of cleaners and some stock of extra beds. Location of the resort is very good. Rooms are spacious, but need maintenance. Main pool, next to our room, was closed, till March 31, for maintenace. This means construction noise during the day till 10pm. We got a different room but this one was in a main corridor which means high public traffic and a lot of noise. Also this room has an internal door to the next room. Altough this door was closed the sound insulation was not present and we could hear every word or neighbors said. Staff is friendly, breakfast is good.

Our suite came with so many wonderful add ons (breakfast served at a more private restaurant, complimentary snacks from 11am to 5pm, and free cocktails at 4-6pm!). I stayed at Henann Regency Hotel from January 6–14 and had a very enjoyable experience overall. The hotel’s location is excellent—right in Station 2 with easy access to the beach, restaurants, and shops, making it very convenient for both relaxation and activities.
One of the highlights of my stay was the buffet breakfast. There was a wide variety of food choices each morning, including both local and international dishes. The food was fresh, well-prepared, and consistently delicious, with something to suit different tastes. The breakfast staff were attentive and efficient, even during busy hours.
The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, providing a comfortable place to rest after a day out. Housekeeping did a great job keeping everything tidy throughout my stay. The hotel grounds and pool areas were also clean and well-kept, creating a relaxing atmosphere.
The staff deserve special mention—they were friendly, professional, and always willing to help, which made the stay even more pleasant.
Overall, Henann Regency offers great value with its excellent location, comfortable accommodations, and outstanding breakfast buffet. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again on my next visit to Boracay.

Staff was wonderful. Some negative points: there are multiple pools on the property, each with kiddie pools but they still allow children to scream and splash guests at the adult pool bar. Breakfast buffet is packed with people and children everyday so the food is prepared en mass so it’s very generic tasting. Best to choose a room package that does not include breakfast and find one of the many breakfast restaurants located close by. Don’t know if this is typical in all rooms but the hot water only lasts about 10 minutes then turns cold. The pool bar service and speed is atrocious and the room service food arrived cold. As well there are very few vegetation options. Most of the service issues are due to the sheer size of the resort and the amount of guests there always. If you prefer a more personal, attentive experience would recommend Mandarin Island a few doors down.

The only reason I have given 4 and not 5 stars is that they had UFC fighting at the pool side bar playing from 10am. So so stay

The biggest issue is the airport transport is more costly then others near a station one, most activities require going to station one as well. Also room booked was not available the first night checked in even though reserved months earlier. They didnt offer anything but to change rooms the following day, most good resorts try to take care of guest if somethiny like this happens.

The rooms and amenities are very luxurious. The transport service was excellent. It’s very close to the beach - there are shortcuts within the hotel to get you to the beachfront quickly. The main pool is big and it has a bar right next to it. Daily housekeeping. Breakfast buffet is great - plenty of choices.

We weren’t made aware that there are water dispensers within the hotel so we were shocked when we didn’t have any water in the room. The lady at reception didn’t mention this to my husband when he came down to ask, but instead just told him where he can buy bottled water. To be fair they have tiny signs in the room but reception should have informed us of this as well. We also didn’t know where to go for breakfast. We had to figure this out on our own. The receptionists just do the bare minimum, I think.

I also left my sunglasses on one of the sun loungers at the beach. When I asked the hotel staff they said they have no idea where it is. The staff at the beach probably didn’t hand it in when he found it, which is completely dishonest and unprofessional from a 5-star hotel like this.

This was our second time at a Hennan in Boracay, Philippines. As it was the first time, this time was no different. From the friendly greeting at the check-in, to the pool and restaurant staff, everything was top notch. The rooms are large, beds are extremely comfortable and the pool is absolutely amazing. We ate at their restaurants multiple times and left each time filled with a great meal. On top of all this, the hotel is a short 5 minute walk to the beach. We will definitely be going back to a Hennan again when we return.

Stayed with my family. It was a great experience and I highly recommend staying here. All staff are accommodating especially Essa from the reception, who went the extra mile to upgrade one of our rooms so the family room and the other room are 2 doors away on the same level.
I will stay again at Hennan Regency when I come back to Boracay.

Property is on the beach. However it is such a large hotel that you have to walk maybe 50 or so meters to go to the beach. Excellent buffet breakfast and customer service is topnotch. Check in was easy as we arrive later after the check in time and avoided the long lines Will stay here again.

Cockroaches everywhere

We booked three rooms for our family vacation recently and its been our third hotel since before the pandemic because the family was enjoying Boracay.I have a high expectation in Henann Regency Resort and Spa so we tried to stay at their hotel. They gave us a poolside room and sea front. Rooms are nice and clean when we arrived but as soon we use the bathroom it became smelly and cockroaches are coming in the vent. There are big and small cockroaches crawling everywhere. Almost everyone are afraid to use the bathroom.
