Massage was great but the breakfast included was all catered to Korean guest. I am a morning person and wakes up at 4 am, gym is not open till 6. Why can’t the gym be open early with key card on it. I would like to work out at 4:30 and drink my coffee by the seaside at 6 am.

The place was beautiful, the rooms are clean, and the staff are extremely nice and polite. The massage by the pool was relaxing and the food was tasty.

However, there were too many rules to follow. You have to pay a fee just to borrow utensils of you bring food from the outside, which is frowned upon.

This resort should be fabulous, it looks the part, but thats it. It fail to deliver on customer experience, hospitality or service. Food is disappointing, severely lacking in choice, with not even a cooked to order egg option. Dishes are left open for the flies to walk all over. Often you have to queue outside to get into breakfast. Limited fresh fruit on offer, no oodles etc.
Our corridor to room overlooked loads of rubbish. Cocktails were weak and flavourless and God forbid you complain, they don't take constructive criticism, just demand payment. There are mildly threatening notices everywhere, pay for this, don't leave leftovers or we charge 300php, lose the towel card we'll charge you 900php. It was a horribly uncomfortable atmosphere here and there are better hotels for your money. They want you to email them your booking when you are standing in front of them with it open on your phone, when Expedia of course have already sent them your booking details and you've handed over your passports. Be warned they also want a 2000php deposit each day for incidentals. The nicest staff there are the maintenance and house keeping personnel. The rest need a lesson in hospitality.

Beautiful resort with large pools and great service everywhere we went - felt very welcomed. 2 minute walk to the beach with lots of options for food and shopping; obviously beautiful white sand and clear waters. Lots of people trying to sell things but some activities like paragliding and clear kayaking are worth looking into! Definitely coming back.

no elevator and you have to be psychic

I woke up 4 times on the first night because the aircon kept shutting down. finally, at 4 am, I switched rooms
ruined my first vacation day

the mediocre check in process was a sample of overall below average service. after the expressionless check in person told me the hotel had no elevator, she said someone would help me and then turned away. as i looked around the empty lobby, there was no one

no elevator
no slippers unless you ask.
free water but look for the dispenser, it's there somewhere
only one international news channel; the one i least liked
looking for the way out or into the hotel, use google maps
on the way out or back to your room, be sure you're physically fit. it's faaaaaar

on the positive side, the staff who helped me change rooms was polite and helpful. I forgot to thank him BECAUSE IT WAS 4 AM!

Henann has great but Expedia was horrible! I bought this trip as a gift for my sister and when she got there, there was a balance on the account. Apparently, Expedia did not communicate changes and, although I have paid in full, Hennan shows a balance. My sister had to wait hours and Expedia still could not fix it. Horrible customer service.

I chose Henann Garden this time for my weekend get away with friends. I love that it was close to different shops and easy access to the beach. Location is good if you like the busy commercial beach area (we did, but had enough in 2 days) the problem is the staff and resort policies treat guests as suspects. Checking in they required my fiance's passport for photocopy and told me in front of her that I'm not allowed to switch guests later on! I should have left after they insinuated my fiance was some type of working girl. Staff was always super polite, but wow did they stick to any policy like a prison! An elderly guest asked the pool towel guard to use a towel briefly to dry off a chair next to the towel station and they said a towel card was required!
When checking out, they made us wait in chairs while they checked the condition of our room (isn't that the point of the security deposit), when cleared, I left via the beach exit and the polite security guard that bowed to me every day and who I thought was keeping us safe saw I had a suitcase and detained me to check if I was cleared to leave! They mistakenly said no over the radio and he began to frog march me across the resort until it was reconfirmed. Never would we ever stay there again.

The Hotel itself is clean, large and very beautiful. Unfortunately for those early risers, there is no coffee until 6 am. The rooms need a two cup coffee maker. The restaurant doesn't allow its guest to drink alcoholic beverages with those who are non drinkers. Try and wrap your head around that stupid policy.

The hotel itself was fine nice pools very polite staff. The breakfast was awful but they are in the main catering for Asian people especially Koreans. Adding a wider variety of fruits yoghurt and things like bacon would help to improve things. I am However disgusted that they took an 8000 pesos about £130 deposit from me as cover for any expenses. I didn’t have any as paid as I went along and this has not been refunded to me.

GREAT RESORT IN STATION 2!

I’ve been to Boracay before and stayed at a few locations. Although I wanted to stay in Station 1, I was drawn to how beautiful this resort was. I enjoyed the daily free breakfast because there was a great selection and they change it up every day. I would’ve loved more Filipino food but it was still great. The resort was clean and the service was great from check in to check out I felt at ease. Props to Kuya Ely from the pool bar who went above and beyond with serving us with our drinks and food.

I upgraded my pool view to pool access for two nights and I absolutely loved it. It was great to have the pool right outside my door and not have any restrictions in using it. The rooms were spacious and the bathroom had a tub and a separate shower.

Overall, my stay was pleasant and I highly recommend this resort to everyone.

The room was immaculate with a great view and a TRUE balcony to hang out on and enjoy a morning coffee or evening cocktail. Even with the location being right in the midst of Station 2, while their and hanging out poolside you feel very much like you are in a relaxing quiet environment. The onsite restaurant offer a lot of good menu choices for very reasonable prices as well. Room service, house keeping, check-in and all staff were great.

Day poring rain sent girlfriend to pool towel bar and was refused towels cause we didn’t have pool card , 6 people were using the acre size pool area and sitting at the pool bar soaking and freezing , demanded towels and finally got one , day two went to beach stayed till 11:30 an returned to un made room , called to have service , room was cleaned and towels removed but not replaced , woke and showered realizing we didn’t have any bath towels , used old wash cloth for drying , at check out I reported this to upper Managmentt and was Repeatedly denied my side of the story them telling me that I called for replacement towels the morning of the shower when they fully well aware that they just took my jowls and didn’t replace them manager was rude and she did not consider the guest first and foremost I’m a westerner and they call that a five-star hotel I give it Two star for service

This was a very beautiful resort with easy access to the beach. The front entrance is located in a rather off-putting area, but inside is clean, comfortable, quiet, and beautiful. The staff was super friendly - always a nice smile and greeting. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a variety that will appeal to all cultural tastes. The dinner buffet was much more oriented toward Korean tastes, but there is a little something for everyone if you aren't too picky.

You get the best of both world, tranquil garden then you fancy the beach you just go out of the hotel complex and there you go the BEACH! Location was great! Front Desk Check in and out, very painful!

The front desk personnel check in and checkout was awful! Very inefficient, very poor process, staff communication skills are very poor. Elena kept asking the same questions over and over again. Hotel takes 2000 php per night as a deposit and keeps your deposit up to a month to return.
Checkout with Jen took over 30 minutes and I missed my shuttle to the airport/port. I asked Ramual to hold the shuttle for a few minutes, he refused.

Great property, great location. The hotel was amazing with an awesome pool in the middle with a side bar so you snack on some munchies while you swim or get a nice cold drink.

The only downside was they did not tell me if we lost our towel cards it would be about $18 USD. We luckily found our cards but was very upset when they told me if we didn't find it we would be charged.

Booked a Direct Pool Access and wanted to amend my booking into 02/21 instead of 02/20. I contacted Expedia and spoke to Will who insisted Hennan had to agree to it before Expedia can change it. Hennan responded 2 days later and informed me that that request should be made through Expedia. I lost one day of reservation because Will refuse to honor my request.

The property: The lobby is small, front desk is meh. But the bell hop are very helpful. Housekeeping is excellent, they always come upon request. They came into my room with a fruit platter and a welcome letter from their GM. The resort staff are very courteous, always greet us with a smile whenever we pass them by. They have 4 pools, never swam on the two but it looks nice. However, the pool in the Direct Pool Access room needed updating - the steps are peeling.

The room: Spacious. Nice view of the private pool. Bed and pillows are so comfy. It have like 5 cartoon channels which kept my toddler preoccupied for a little while. The bathroom have a bathtub and separate shower, both need some serious deep scrubbing and regrouting. Also they have this weird toilet seat which reminded me of airline toilets. BUT wifi is super fast & AC is very good. But room service is slow. My food came cold multiple times. It is near the entrance of the property which is a long walk from the beach. However, though not beachfront, it is close enough compared to Hennan Lagoon. If you want the beach, dont book Direct Pool Access.

Breakfast buffet with unlimited bacon - 'nuf said! :) Eggs, cheese, omelette, cereals, pancakes, waffles, noodles, rice - buffet is a good mix to suit guests from all over the world.

Swimming pools are great, they have 6 or 7 of them, I think. If you need a beach towel - resort will provide it for you. If you're coming from a country with different power sockets and need an adapter to charge your phone - resort will provide it for you.

No matter how small the problem, staff is very serious and professional about making your stay pleasant. For example, there was a time during our stay that aircon stopped working. As soon as I called housekeeping, they were immediately on it! They resolved the issue in less than 10min. Excellent teamwork and professionalism. We haven't had any problems since.

Overall, excellent hotel and I would love to come back one day!
