El servicio al cliente fue excelente, excepto el Spa. Ayer fuimos 4 personas ( buenos clientes) pero el personal no fue amable, no saluda, mi masaje no se si fue muscular o de relajación. Se acabo el masaje, ofrecieron el turco o el sauna, pero ni siquiera alguien me dijo donde era. Hoy preferimos ir al Hilton para los masajes. Un poco mas caro, pero la atención fue mucho mejor del cielo a la tierra

El servicio en los restaurantes no es malo, es PERVERSO…. Más de una hora para entregar una comida básica, en el desayuno nadie retira los platos de las mesas, el último día, después de más de 20 minutos esperando que nos sirvieran un café, tuve que buscar unos vasos desechables y servirlo yo.
El servicio en la playa es INEXISTENTE…. Es mejor comprarle a los vendedores ambulantes. En serio, no sé si es que tienen muy pocas personas, o que en serio no les interesa vender, teniendo en cuenta que no es un Todo-Incluido. De resto, el hotel está bien, es bonito y aseado, y el personal es amable, la playa limpia…. Pero la experiencia en restaurantes es fatal

Had to call for toilet not working three times, the room floors were not clean, the jacuzzi was not operative as requested, menu was limited and breakfast, they served water pineapple juice…more water than juice, scrambled eggs were overcooked, staff not familiar with services in the resort….and I paid for a presidential suit!…the road to the hotel was horrible

The property is old... breakfeast is repetitive and bad.... no plates or glasses... the typical food that you are willing to eat is all on pay... ruining the experience.... service at the beach is very limited same in the pool really bad and takes for ever. Beautiful property. There are several towers (suites, rooms and bungalows) several restaurants and each one has different menu). I did not have all included, so you will need to put your credit card for food, drinks, snacks, groceries because the hotel is cashless. Everyone was nice from the moment we got picked up at the airport until we were returned. There is great security agents all over the property, and I love the idea of walking on the trails and also having a golf cart available. Beach was clean and not crowded. My youngest had a blast with the kids activities.

Many restrictions but some staff are very kind. Edgardo from Buho Bar makes the best piña coladas in the whole resort. Limited dining food quality and taste subpar for cost. Will need more than 1 golf cart between buildings but they tried their best to make it work. Receptionists Diara and Roslyn at Reservado building were awfully rude and made the stay uncomfortable. Their attitude was horrid and they were constantly on their phone gossiping while people waited on line for assistance. They ignored our good mornings or hellos but other workers in the lobby were always kind. Roslyn and Diara were annoyed with any questions we had about the map or resort services as they were met with eye rolls and indifference. Angel the barman at reservado pool bar was also unfriendly but we worked with Erick for the rest of the trip to try avoid anymore unpleasantries. Imprtant to note most of these resorts hold permanent residents so some owners are quite unfriendly to hotel guests. No music on any beach or pool or public area. Mostly nothing to do before 1030am, as there are no planned events and all pools/stores are closed within tthe resort. Some of the best massages available at the spa however, the chocolaterapia is a great choice.

It felt really safe to be in the hotel. Security guards were very aware and asked questions to make sure that guests were going into the right taxi and only guests were going into the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
I will be coming here for my next time in Santa Marta.

We stayed in the Del Mar building and it was excellent, we had a 2 bedroom apartment that was big enough for 5 people comfortably, the service was pretty good, food at the buffet was just OK, the Italian restaurant was much better, pools and the beach are great, will go back for sure.

Irotama Torres es bastante limpio y grande. El apartamento tenía una vista hermosa al mar y tiene buen aire acondicionado. La piscina es muy linda infinity y siempre hay staff dispuesto a ayudar… siempre con una sonrisa.

Nostros tomamos el bus del hotel o el carrito de golf para transportarnos hacia el irotama lagos donde está la piscina principal.

Lo que más nos gustó fue la amabilidad de todo el staff del hotel, siempre dispuestos a ayudar y muy amables.

The pictures of this resort on Orbitz are a little deceiving. They show a lobby, but there are four lobbies. We took the shuttle from the airport which was great, but we were dropped at a place that didn't match the picture. I thought we were at the wrong place. Don't make that mistake. This resort is great. We have traveled to Santa Marta many times. This was our first time at Irortama and when we return we will be staying at the Irotama. I don't know what to say about this resort, 5 stars, 10 out of 10. We rented a \"Junior Suite\" which was much more than the pictures posted on Orbitz. This is a beautiful resort and I recommend you consider it in your search for places to stay.

The two room suite was very spacious, well maintained and clean. Pools are great and the resort has plenty of space and activities.

We required gluten free food (Coeliac) and staff were always very helpful in making sure they understood what was needed. The only downside was having to explain someone different at every meal what gluten free meant.
There is a mall with restaurants, supermarket and pharmacies very close from the resort.

Modern buildings. Excepcional customer service, good food, great location, beaches in good standing( except that at this trip I noticed many street vendors selling at the beach )
This time, only 2 pools were opened. The available access for sauna and turco were impossible (3 days) waiting list reservation !!
I was a little disappointed because I pay for all inclusive.
In general it is a good place for vacations,

The staff is tremenous. This is our third trip to the property and it has outstanding personnel. Yudy the waitress in El Buho is the best, the waiter on the 16th floor Inajel is great and the room service snd housekeeping is 1st class. We stayed in Del Mar. With the coronavirus we were limited in facilty use, but the pool and food was great. Latam cut our trip short with flight cancellation, and the gym and sauna were closed as well. We hope to return in the future and hope management will provide compensation for us having to leave 4 days early. This resort is 5 star.

Writing a good review is not enough to explain how awesome this place is. We got an ocean view room on the 8th floor. Spacious with a balcony, fully equipped kitechen, nice clean bathroom, and super comfy king size bed. The hotel is located in Belo Horizonte, a town in between the airport and Santa Marta, in a resort complex that includes other hotels. As a guest, you have access to the gym, the pools, and amazing restaurants of all the hotels in the complex. I recommend including breakfast with your stay. The buffet is great. Colombian food, comfort food, fruit, juice, and of course good Colombian coffee. Also dinner at Piso 12 at Irotama del Mar is great during sunset. Get the grilled fish, you won’t regret it. Irotama Reservado is close to a shopping center called Zazue, where you can buy supplies. Spend your time at the beach. The calm warm waters and charcoal color sand in front of amazing mountains make this place beyond magical. They also offer tours to Tayrona natural reserve beaches. if no tours are available to purchase at the hotel, take a bus (cheaper at 1,800 COP) or taxi (20,000 COP) to Santa Marta. Go to calle primera and take a walk along the pier you can find people offering tours.

The manager at the desk (Miguel) is very nice and friendly and speaks English. the staff is warm and very kind to everyone. The rooms are large and well kept and deserve to be 5 stars as advertised. the morning buffet is typical Colombian food and great. the beach is close with proper chairs to sit on, and hut type tents to shade you. the Bar is close for comfort and the bartenders make great drinks. A Very affordable vacation at the beach that you will enjoy. the scenery is breath taking.

The resort is a series of buildings and grounds interrupted by properties that do not belong to the resort. It is a maize because of city zoning, a very well kept maize. Food at the different restaurants is great and activities are many. Beach does not have as many vendors as Cartagena Boca Grande.
However, hotel tends to nickle and dime guests. You have to sign up for insurance per person.Front desk gives you a piece of paper in plastic to hang around your neck so you can get a beach or pool towel.The wind was blowing our first evening evening so my piece of paper blew away. when I requested another one, front desk indicated I had to pay $10 US for it. In the end I had to pay the amount because I did not provide the paper when I checked out. Also you may not leave until Mini Bar is checked

Overpriced relative to quality of offerings

The hotel was nice, but we were very dissapointed with a number of areas. First, no one spoke English. This led to a misunderstanding that the meals were not included in our package (only breakfast). Second, the food from the restaurants was very bad. We ate much better in downtown Santa Marta. Last, the beach is public so we were constantly bombarded with people trying to sell stuff. Overall, this was not worth the price paid.

Nice large room and everyone was nice and helpful. Large pool cool use a few tile replacements and sides felt a bit slimy. Maybe I am too particular. The exchange rate from dollars to pesos was lower than the other hotels I went to. No English spoken at reception but they called someone who was very nice. If I spoke more Spanish and didn’t exchange mi at there pretty perfect. Felt very safe and protected there.
