Lovely resort, would love to go again

Beautiful resort, away from the hustle and bustle of town centre, peaceful, beautiful views, superb pool and opulent restaurant. Better to have a car, though we used public transport (bus), frequency was low but it was timely and saved us from driving on winding roads. Renting a car would have increased our mobility.

View from the hotel was lovely, it was peaceful to sit in the terrace and watch sunset.

Pool was excellent, kids loved it, it was busy and sun loungers were in high demand.

Restaurant on the premises was great, better quality than some restaurants in the town and at better price and no cover charges.

Staff was friendly and provided guidance wherever needed.

Book tours from the hotel, more convenient at they offer pick and drop from the hotel.

We had an amazing 5 days in the Amalfi Coast. The hotel grounds are beautiful with lots of flowers and greenery and the view of the ocean is incredible. We loved our stay as a family of 4. We stayed in the 2 bed and 2 bath unit with endless ocean views looking over Capri. The hotel staff was super attentive and they were very helpful with every question that we had whenever it was dinner options, taxi reservations and also excursions visiting Capri, Positano and Amalfi. Overall our experience was exceptional and we can’t wait to visit this hotel again.

Wonderful location with great restaurant & pool

Fantastic location overlooking Capri. Excellent service. Wonderful restaurant managed by Tonno and the team. Super pool. A great place for exploring Capri and the Amalfi coast via boat trips which can be booked through the hotel. Just an hour’s car ride to Pompeii.

Americano ‘s celebrating in Capri.

Our stay at Gocci Di Capri was MAGICAL. From Martina, Christina and Mike at reception to the guys at the breakfast/ pool bar Fabio, Andrea, Paolo. They gave us the most warm welcome and were always such a pleasure with a smile on their faces everyday. Everyone was so helpful with tours, dinning off premises, directions and whatever we needed. We will be sure to share this wonderful experience with the most spectacular view of Capri. ❤️🇮🇹❤️

We visited as a family of 6 (2 adults, 4 children) and we enjoyed our stay at Gocci di Capri. The views are spectacular. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment which was quite spacious with a good size kitchen. The bathroom was very tired and the shower was awful. There was also a pipe from the air con unit dripping on to the balcony which created a large puddle everyday. The restaurant was lovely. Food was excellent. The bar did lovely panini’s but only at weekends. There was an issue with the on 3 out of the 4 days we were there which meant it was very murky looked generally dirty which was a shame. Although there were some negatives, we would return as the views are unbeatable and it’s a great base for exploring the area.

We spent 5 nights at the hotel. We had a private 1 bedroom suite that was detached from the rest of the hotel. It gives it a more upscale and exclusive feel. Our friends were staying in the main building and didn't enjoy their experience as much. We often ate at the hotel and had an opportunity to try an array of dishes. We recommend the traditional Italian dishes to the more international fares.
The pool is great. The staff friendly and curteous. They arranged our excursions and were generous with their efforts to make our stay as memorable as possible.

Wish we could have stayed longer! The property and lodging was beautiful and well kept. The staff was excellent - attentive and friendly. Good food at both the cafe and restaurant. I would advise asking them to book a private car or renting one because the bus situation is a little dicey (which can be done with a little patience for understanding the schedules).

The staff was excellent, especially Christina, Mike and the young guy who took care of our check in at night. The staff book our boat tour and car tour. Everything was great. The lady serving breakfast was also nice. The place has excellent views, however our flight was delayed and we arrived at night and driving thru the mountain roads got us lost a few times since the roads are not well lighted. The hotel is on top of the mountain, so make sure you arrive daytime. Great hotel overall with great staff.

We appreciate how spacious the room is with large toilet, bed and separate dining and cooking area. Was also nice to have the large outdoor area as well. Overall found it very comfortable and the staff including bartenders are amazing. Slight negative is that there isn’t much telephone reception and the wifi does tend to drop out sometimes. The view is gorgeous and the restaurant is good and well serviced. But the reception lacked communication and the bar area was not helpful. There are no COVID protocols as claimed.
When arrived our room had not been cleaned. Even though the site states that there is 24 hours between each stay.
We were not told that you had to make reservations for breakfast so the next morning they wouldn’t seat us. The evening and morning of our departure. We had no running water and no working toilet. There was no communication about it and we were not offered water when I had to inquire about what was going on.

The view from our room and the customer service in Gocce di Capri gets a 5 stars plus. Luisa and Cristina at front desk were fantastic. But the service in their bar was even better, all of them, specially Giovanna, the bartender, she was spectacular always smiling and attentive. She prepares their house cocktail Gocce di Capri, delicious, if you like cocktails, you must try it. The guys ( I didn’t get their names) during breakfast time were wonderful too.
The hotel could use a little update, specially in bathroom.

We loved this smaller property. The staff was so friendly, our accomodations (a little cottage actually) was wonderful except for the tiny shower, and the on-site gourmet restaurant was fabulous and so reasonably priced. We loved this hotel and it's magnificent location, close to the Amalfi Coast, Sorrento, and with a perfect view of the island of Capri. We will definitely return.

Absolutely stunning views from every corner of the property, and extremely friendly and helpful staff. Location was perfect for what we wanted to get out of our Amalfi Coast experience.
The town of Termini is also just a 5min walk from the hotel and the locals are amazing. We honestly didn’t want to leave!

*the only note I will make, is that the walls are paper thin, so do expect to hear every little noise from the neighbouring rooms. But otherwise, it was a fantastic stay!

The resort has a \" surf-shack \" feel to it, & is run by a young team of enthusiastic girls & guys, we had a pleasant 2 night stay. Our room was really a small villa, with separate large living +bed + bathroom, with a garden / patio area, with a nice seating area. The hotel faces Capri & Ischia, so sunsets were pretty impressive ! The restaurant only opened on our first night, & whilst the service was a little rusty, no real complaints about the food & drink. Breakfast was typical, though was tasy, & enough. we found it a good base, & took an organised trip to Capri, which worked out ideal, being collected / dropped off at the resort. Overall, we really enjouyed our stay there, no complaints.

We loved our short stay at Gocci de Capri. The hotel was perfectly situated in the friendly little village of Termini. The view of Capri is stunning! The service we received at the hotel was the best we received during our stay in Italy. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. My only complaints are that the weather was not great which drew attention to the poor heating in the apartments. The bathrooms were particularly cold and it’s not pleasant having a shower in a freezing bathroom.Also some of the equipment is tired and could use updating. Overall our stay was great and I would definitely recommend but just wait until the weather is a bit warmer. Would have loved to gavectaken advantage of the pool and outside area!! I would return!!

Great views from the apartments and pool area. Good location, as walking distance to a small village with shops and eateries. All staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool area and snack bar are great places to relax. However it was let down by the very dated and damp smelling accommodation. The kitchen in our apartment was very old and tired, the hotels.com photos were clearly taken years ago. General fixtures, fittings and doors were old and grubby. The apartment is clearly overdue a full refurbishment. Also the wild dogs roaming around and swimming in the pool were a real nuisance.

Not what is advertised and not clean.

We were very disappointed the pictures shown online are very deceiving, the beach looks very close but at least a 30 minute drive and our room smelled and had a lot of mold. I would not recommend this property unless you don’t mind being by a pool and breathing in moldy air.

Drove south past Napoli and Sorrento to Massa Lubrense in the Campania region. Residence Gocce di Capri, Massa Lubrense near Sorrento was nice with views of Capri. Christina, our host, was excellent. She was very friendly and took the time to help me with directions, information and even a taste of lemoncello.
The apartment was large but only a small washroom for a family of four. The washroom worked despite the tiny shower, don't drop the soap! The best part of the apartment is the large balcony with amazing vistas. To make things a little easier for guests, perhaps make sure of dish soap, paper towels/cloths, broom, ran out of toilet paper and salt and pepper, some basics. Linens are not changed for a five day stay, but fresh towels were provided. Ask, however, and Christina promptly would provide most necessities. For almost $1200. Cdn. for five days, there should be some housekeeping when on vacation and the basics should be available.
We drove to a market nearby for food and drink as meals were not included. Right out of the gate is a short walk to Termini with a small grocery store, cafe and lemoncello factory. Grocery shopping is part of the fun for us, we tried many different cheeses and meats, the local butcher is always willing to let one taste. Pool closed a bit early, at 7, so we always seemed to be rushing back for a swim. Anyway, after travelling through Greece, we finally had a pool to enjoy and the grounds are very nice.

This hotel is up on a mountain top overlooking the ocean with beautiful views. The restaurant has good food and the breakfast wasnt that great. The transportation to get to the hotel took us 5 hrs to figure out switching buses waiting couple hrs for next bus etc which was very frustrating. I have only positive things to say about the staff and the size of the room was huge! But the thing that was most irritating which will not make me come back is transportation. Theres only one bus stop around the hotel and it stops running at 6pm. So you have to leave where ever you are enjoying to catch the bus back by about 420pm. Theres no buses no taxis nothing. There is absolutely nothing around the hotel so you have to take a bus about 20 min out to sorrento.

Residence Gocce Di Capri - a very tired Hotel

Booked a 2 bed SUPERIOR apartment for 5 nights at £200/night. They had an apparent computer issue so offered a 2 bed COMFORT room which was a country mile away from what i paid over £200/night for.Dark and dingy and no sea view from the bedroom.
They admitted their error, but did not have another Superior room after 90 minutes i was offered a villa - Very nice you might think, but do think again.....!!
1Km away and offered a quick viewing. VERY rustic it was better than the comfort room, aircon just in the lounge, nothing else.
No offer of milk or bread or anything for the morning, but after 1 night it didnt matter as i had no intention of staying. Mosquitos, Spiders, bugs, the shower totally flooded the floor and didn't drain until the following morning, paddling in 50mm of dirty water. Bed linen smelt old and musty, pillows were a disgrace. Left in the morning and went back to the Hotel to ask for something else. A worker at the Hotel runs his own Villa rental company, they offered his 2 bed 2 bath 10 minutes drive. No pool, this is one of the main things we wanted to do, RELAX by the pool as we were on holiday. This Villa was fine, but we could only have 3 nights their, then we had to change back to their Hotel for the last night.
All-in-all this Hotel & its management should be ashamed with their exceptionally tired and run down Hotel, and there was no compensation for the 1 1/2 days running around by me changing accommodation.

Amazing views, wonderful staff, great value.

After a somewhat hair-raising drive from Naples, we were warmly welcomed by Claudia. Claudia and her colleagues were wonderful throughout our stay. Always welcoming, happy to advise on activities, would remember and check the following day how we'd got on, booking tours and fixing any problems - witnessed them going above and beyond to resolve a problem for another guest with a lost item in a previous hotel. Everyone we met there had good English. The rooms are clean and comfortable - some of the kitchen items were brand new and unused. It was perfect for a good value three-star but may seem a little basic for people expecting more. The views were amazing - you can sit on your balcony, at the restaurant or by the pool with views of Capri and the Bay of Naples - watching the boats or the sunset. I believe all the rooms have the same view; the angle for the view of Capri is better closer to reception, bar and swimming pool. It was a good location for us to drive to visit Pompeii, Herculaneum, Sorrento and Capri - I think would be difficult to do with children without a car. Wifi was 3 euros/day or 15 euros/week for unlimited devices and it worked really well in all areas - at times better than home! The pool is unheated and so was cold in early April but that didn't stop our children! It could be cleaner but they were cleaning each day and we believe it only opened for the season the day we arrived. A really enjoyable holiday and would recommend.

Great Hotel with Amazing Views

We arrived way before our official check in time but it was not a problem for Marco the owner. He had us in our room within minutes, which was clean and tidy but not what we ordered. Still not a problem we were upgraded to a two roomed apartment with balcony with a stunning view of Capri.

All the staff are very friendly, helpful and spoke amazing English compared with my Italian highly recommended.

Can't Beat the View

The view of the ocean and the Island of Capri were gorgeous. This was a really nice hotel with a very nice pool, which the kids loved. Great hotel for kids/families. The restaurant was great - we ate outside overlooking the view and the sunsets. The Pizze de Gocce was delicious - cheese, sweet onions and bacon. Reasonably priced compared to other spots in Sorrento. They had these awesome gelato truffles for dessert - highly recommended, I wish I had tried more of them. The room was great in terms of space, and we really enjoyed the patio. It had pretty basic furnishings, but was comfortable enough. The staff was great - very helpful and friendly. I didn't realize when I booked it how far it was to Sorrento proper, and it cost $50 euro for the car transfer. If you are looking to explore Sorrento itself, this may not be for you. But it was a great and beautiful place to relax, enjoy pool, and look out at the view.There was also a little town a 10 minute walk away with a nice view, bar/gelateria, and restaurant.which we enjoyed walking too. You could also take lots of hikes and there was a beach a bus ride away.

the view by it's self is worth the price

the unit was very clean and the owners and staff couldn't have been any nicer.the location is at the end of the amalfi Peninsula which made for a little longer drive to get to, but the view was worth it,1 hour to Pompeii, 25 min to sorrento,1 hour to the town of Amalfi(it took us 2.5 hours, lot of pics),but best of all,was to come back and sit on the deck with a bottle of vino and look out at the isle of capri,PRICELESS!!

Residence Gocce Di Capri has to be experienced to believe! My mother, sister and I stayed for 5 days in September 2014. The apartments are spacious, clean and comfortable with modern romanesque decor. The Hotel appartments sit high in the hills of Massa Lubrense which overlook the Gulf of Napoli and the Island of Capri. The grounds are beautifully kept with archways of vines and a variety of flora that cover the walkway from the apartments to the restaurant, open bar and swimming pool. Our experience was incredible - we were lavishly attended on by the most generous, helpful and friendly staff. They really went all out to make certain our experience is unfogettable.
We came by bus so they picked us up from the stop to bring us (with our luggage) to the hotel. The nearest townsquare is 500m away and the walk there also delivers breathtaking views of the Gulf. The town square is very quaint - equipped with a lookout, lively locals and a limonchello tasting gallery.
We absolutely loved this place and would recommend it for both families and couples. The sunsets are heavenly and the apartments are private so the your view of the Gulf is uniquely your own!

This hotel was beautiful. The rooms were very spacious, we had a full kitchen and two separate rooms with full private bathrooms each. Though it was cold during our stay, the pool appeared very clean and we would have definitely used it had we had better weather. If
You have a car, then the location is great for visiting the Amalfi coast, the island of Capri, or Vesuvius/Pompei. If you don't have a car then the hotel offers some reasonably priced day trips to most of the surrounding tourist locations. We only ate one meal at the hotel but the food was good and it was reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend staying here for a few nights if you can get a decent rate for the room. Beautiful view of the island of Capri and Naples.

I usually rate hotels on the amenities/cleanliness/services they provide. I add a 0.5 star if I get a good view. Pros: view of Capri and golf of Naples is amazing; breakfast is decent and plenty, though not free. Cons: rooms are very outdated, old walls, need refresh paiting in certain areas, appliances, cabinets in the 1 bdr comfort apt are old, a/c unit is from 20 years ago. Another big thing: rooms are very cold at night and heating doesn't work because it is May and it should be \"summer\". But up in the mountains where the hotel is, air is fresh and cold. So if you like sleeping at 74F as I do, you will get maybe 65 here at night. Staff is aware of the cold rooms, but nothing gets done about it. At most I can give this hotel a 2.5 star rating (0.5 for the view of Capri). I'd suggest they go to Naples to hotel tiempo to see how a proper 3 star hotel looks like, new and fresh. Internet comes for a fee also.

The stay was OK, the room was big and clean but we had problems with water in the bathroom. The view from the hotel, and not from inside the room, is stunning. I don't like the fact that you need to pay for wi-fi access.

A Little Slice of Paradise

Two words - beautiful location! Unencumbered views of Capri and Ischia. Beautifully landscaped, great pool, well appointed suites, private terrace, Perfect . We stay as a family of four. Hard to find with GPS but so worth the effort. Go to the Piazza in Termini take the small road by the bar and go up the hill, pass the autobody shop, round the corner and at the top of the hill on the left hand side you will see the small sign. The restaurant served great and reasonably priced food and as an unexpected delight served each of us a free Limoncello at the end of our meal. The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome.

Sunset over Capri

The GPS had a little trouble pinpointing the hotel's location, although it did get us to the right street, just not the right end! We travelled as a family of 5 and were given a spacious 2 bedroom apartment,with a kitchen, bathroom + ensuite and a fabulous balcony complete with table, chairs and deck chairs overlooking Capri and a view to Naples. The on site pool was fabulous and we ate dinner at the restaurant both nights we were there, although you could buy groceries and do your own meals if you chose. All staff were friendly and helpful and it was like being at a resort rather than the next stop of our Italian trek. We were pleased to have stumbled on this location, which is set in a village on the hills above Sorrento, as it was a relaxing 2 night stopover after the hustle and bustle of Amalfi. It is a good base for a day trip to either the island of Capri or a visit to Pompei. We would recommend this hotel for couples and families alike.

Not a place to stay in October

Unfortunately the weather was terrible when we stayed here and therefore we could not use the outdoor pool. We had thought there was an indoor pool as well. ,There was very little else to keep children entertained and the hotel owners had no suggestions. Accommodation was fine, spacious with decent self catering facilities. Restaurant on site closed after our second evening there . Wifi saved the day and was reasonable at 15 euro for the week. Amazing view of Capri from room. Probably more suited to couple travelling than for families.
Expensive for just accommodation -breakfast cost extra.

An amazing place to relax and unwind

Probably the best thing about the hotel is it's position high in the hills with stunning views of Capri and across the Bay of Naples. We found the staff extremely welcoming and friendly and made our stay really memorable. Although some of the rooms are need of a little updating and TLC, we found the views, location and staff more than compensated for this. We felt the hotel provided excellent value for money in relation to all aspects of our stay. When booking it is worth requesting one of the apartments on the upper level as the lower apartments had restricted views. We found that the hotel provided the perfect location and surroundings to relax and unwind.

Amazing location and friendly helpful staff, onsite restaurant really good for fantastic pizza at only 5-6 euros!! Our room was ok, a bit tired as was the hotel site in general but functional and clean. Overall a good stay and would probably go back.

Beautiful views, excellent service

The views from this hotel were spectacular. The staff and service was excellent. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are like small apartments rather than hotel rooms. Largest bathroom and best shower we had on our 8 days in Italy. The location was a little hard to find, and it was on top/side of a mountain. The drive up was beautiful, and the views and staff make up for the out of the way location. It was definitely worth the visit.

Peaceful and very relaxing

This is an oasis of peace in a pretty chaotic area. The main tourist areas are pretty crazy e.g. Sorrento, Amalfi coast. The apartments have everything you need, the balconies are wonderful places to read and watch the sea change colour. The pool is great and the restaurant does good affordable meals. The local village is small but friendly. The best way to spend your time is walking down to hidden beaches ad swimming in the glorious sea.

Stunning vista

Though fairly remote location, the view of capri and the Sorrento coast make the extra 30 minutes driving worthwhile. The grounds and rooms were well kept and clean, and the kids had great fun in the pool. The restaurant and bar were being renovated when we visited, soon to be reopened, so can't comment upon them. The small kitchen is well stocked with utensiles for self-catering. The managers were very helpful and accommodating.

Gorgeous Getaway

A bit secluded and hard to find, but absolutely gorgeous with one heck of a view. Before we arrived, the staff knew us by name and made our stay extremely comfortable while we were there. The cozy little apartment had a fantastic view of Capri and the Sorrento coast and the pool, bar, restaurant, and all ammenities provided by the hotel were top notch. Getting to nearby tourist attractions, beaches, diving, etc. easy enough once you get the bus schedule down. Would definitely recommend for any romantic getaway, what a value.

Ein absolutes Schmuckstück, ruhig gelegen, mit atemberaubendem Blick und unsagbar freundlichem Personal. Wir hatten ein riesen Apartment mit 2 Terrassen, 2 Balkonen und aus allen Zimmern Meerblick. Un bon hôtel résidence dans un superbe cadre

L'hôtel Gocce di Capri est relativement éloigné de tout mais le cadre et la vue sont superbes. L'hôtel dispose également d'un restaurant
Un parking gratuit est mis à disposition des clents
La piscine et grande et belle avec suffisamment de transats

Les chambres ou appartements sont spacieux et bien aménagés avec une belle cuisine et disposent de beaux balcons
La literie est très confortable par contre il n'y a pas de rideaux occultants
Le personnel est sympathique et très serviable

Seul problème rencontré le dernier soir avec l'organisation d'une soirée privée qui a privatisé la piscine et généré du bruit avec une musique très forte jusqu'à minuit

À part cela nous avons passé un bon moment au Gocce di Capri

El lugar es hermoso y el personal muy atento siempre estuvo pendiente de todo y nos ayudaron en muchos aspectos, Pero el hotel es muy retirado y el transporte es limitado por las horas los taxis super costosos deben trabajar para tener un transporte del hotel para que sus huéspedes no tengan problemas con los transporte publico o taxis .
