Our room was spacious, clean and towels etc were changed twice each day. The balcony had an amazing view of Capri.

The staff were incredibly attentive and really helpful. Nothing was too much trouble, they even provided a wrap for my wife when the weather turned cold one evening.

I used the gym each day and whilst the equipment was basic, the gym was quiet and there were adequate weights, mats and running machines. The sauna was also great to go in after the gym.

Breakfast each day was great. Very fresh, good selection and again, nothing was too much trouble. My wife is gluten free and they made her bread and cousins fresh each day.

Whilst the journey into Sorrento is a 20 minute drive, the hotel offered a free private shuttle that ran regularly. Most times, we had the shuttle to ourselves and we used this service several times.

The hotel is incredibly quiet and relaxing and if this is what you are looking for, I would highly recommend Relais Blu. We would definitely stay again.

This hotel is well worth the trip. Gorgeous views and a spa feel to the whole place. The rooms are modern and spacious. Good selection of high quality food for breakfasts. A convenient shuttle to and from take us to Sorrento (on their schedule) and the staff was always eager to help. I loved the infinity pool that overlooked the sea and and sunsets.

We had a wonderful 3-day stay at Blu Relai Hotel. Tony gave us a professional and warm welcome, which made us feel at ease right away. Bianca was especially kind and helpful throughout our stay, always ready to assist with a smile. Andrea at reception was also very kind, as were all the staff we met.
The hotel itself is comfortable and well-kept, but what truly stood out was the friendliness of the team – and the breakfast, which was excellent! The view from the pool is also stunning.
We’d 100% recommend this place. Thanks again to Bianca and the whole staff for making our stay so enjoyable!

Not only does this hotel look amazing with the best views of the coast but the staff goes above and beyond. I have travelled all over the world and there are varying degrees of customer service but this hotel that is family owned is above and beyond. I love the personal touch it them knowing your name and things you like. The turn down service. The smiles and the jokes. It feels like home. They have a Michelin star chef/restaurant but they are far from stuffy. The calm is unparalleled. We will be back for sure one day! Thank you for everything!

Relais Blu is a stunning hotel, the view from the terrace and the pool is breathtaking.
The staff are all very welcoming, they are friendly and polite, nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast is very good, every choice you could wish for, all of a very high standard. The rooms are amazing, very large, all with beautiful views.

We loved the Relais Blu. I have wanted to stay there ever since I saw The Trip to Italy 10 years ago. The views from the hotel to Capri and the coastline are fabulous and the hotel decor is beautiful. Our room (luxury double) was very spacious and quiet. The food in the bistro restaurant was exceptional. All the staff were helpful and spoke excellent English (way better than my very poor Italian). We stayed for four nights and loved every minute. We would highly recommend a stay here.

The hotel is decorated stylishly and the staff here are so friendly and take care of your every need. Add the Michelin star restaurant and what more could anyone possibly wish for?!

With a limited number of rooms, that means that the staff is always attentive to your needs and you don’t have to worry about being in an overcrowded hotel.

Fantastic boutique hotel with very nice accommodating staff. Nothing to be missed. The view is breathtaking to the sea and the island of Capri in front. A car is absolutely needed as it is a bit remote. Drive to Naples airport is about 1.5 hours.

Resort and room were very beautiful. Asian fusion dining was OK but would have preferred a all Italian option for dinner.Breakfast was ok. Location is a bit remote so plan on driving or taxi to town for additional dining options. Resort makes a great location for a day trip by boat to Capri. Tour to Capri was affordable and nice.

This hotel was incredible! I have traveled a lot before and this place was top notch. The service was incredible. There are only 15 rooms there so the front desk is very attentive. They booked all of our dinner reservations for us, booked us a boat tour, and we even got free aperol spritz upon arrival. It was a pleasant surprise to learn that they also give free shuttles to and from downtown sorrento. It’s totally worth it to stay here and a little out of the city to enjoy the stunning view and pool amenities! 10/10 recommend this place.

The property is a bit removed from Sorrento, and that is a good thing. It was so peaceful and quiet; the perfect homebase to retreat to after a day of fifhting the crowds on the Amalfi Coast or in Sorrento.

We had a magnificent stay at Relais Blu. Everything about it was amazing from the room, to the restaurant, to the gorgeous infinity pool. But if I had to pick a highlight it would be the staff, who were so welcoming from the moment we walked in. Any request made was not too inconvenient and instantly attended to. If you don’t have a car,just be aware that it is a little inconvenient as it is about 30min by car from Sorrento, but the hotel can organise transfers to Naples or Sorrento (at set rates). Otherwise, the hotel is an amazing place to stay and relax, with some shuttles that will pick you for various activities. Thank you for a memorable stay!

This place is the deal! The greeting service was amazing with parking valet and curtousy drink and accompanied site visit. The room was clean, spacious and offered a perfect view of Capri Island. The pool was amazing with the same view and bar service. The sunset supper and breakfast are unmatched. The service, presentation, taste and overall experience make this place a must stop! Only negative could be the distance from other Amalfi sites but well worth the trip! We will repeat one day and refer the place to our friends.

Way overpriced - fake luxury

At this price bracket you would expect genuine luxury and genuine attention to detail and the guest experience.The reality is quite different. Staff don't appear to be well trained or committed to your wellbeing, rooms are in fact quite basic and have the charm of an aparthotel, lacking flowers or other finishing touches and are not even properly aired or provide even a simple kettle and tea, for that matter. It is primarily a business operation designed to sell itself well online and make profit. That was the vibe.

It isn't frequent that I rate with perfect marks, but Relais Blue certainly deserves it!
The facility is modern, very nicely designed. Many seating areas with magnificent views.
Rooms are spacious, very convenient, perfectly maintained.
Food is great, at both the Michelin starred chef restaurant and the Bistro.
But above all, what really made the experience so special, was the staff.
They were not just professional and efficient. They generated atmosphere of warmness and friendliness, really doing their best to help with action or advise, always caring to make your stay perfect.
We left after staying 3 nights, and immediately wanted to come back.

We have just returned from Relais Blu having had 6 fantastic nights there. We were welcomed with Prosecco and given a room upgrade which was a lovely surprise. The room was very spacious with the bed facing a picture window. It had a lovely big bathroom with shower and whirlpool bath and full size luxury toiletries provided, bathrobes and flipflops for the pool. We had a lovely balcony which you could have breakfast on if you wanted room service. The views from our room no 105 were amazing. Beautiful views of Capri and amazing sunsets in the evening.
The manager welcomed us to his hotel personally which was a nice touch.
The hotel staff were friendly and efficient, nothing was too much trouble. All the duty managers we dealt with were very helpful when we asked for advice regarding travel and sight seeing.
The food was gorgeous and plentiful. Breakfast was buffet style but you could also request cooked breakfast if you wished. In the evening you had the choice of the brasserie menu or the gourmet menu which is cooked by a 1* Michelin chef.
There is a lovely pool with great views and comfortable loungers with towels provided.
This is a great hotel to stay in if you don't want to stay in any of the bigger towns on the Amalfi Coast. You will benefit from hiring a car as the hotel is not close to any major towns but the location makes up for this. This is one of the best hotel stays we have ever had.

We really enjoyed our stay at Relais Blu. It's really a hotel that's built on it's view, which really was incredible. Whether you were by the pool, having dinner or waking up to it, it never failed to amaze.
All of the staff were brilliant as well - both welcoming and helpful.

It's in a quiet area, which is what we wanted for our stay. There's not much in the immediate vicinity but it's close enough to some of the local ports and towns to travel out to, which the reception always helped to organise.

The rooms could do with a bit more character, but that's a minor point.

Relais Blu is a fantastic place to stay. The hotel is modern and pristine, the rooms very large, and the view is of course amazing. The service was excellent, and staff eager to help when our flight was delayed and travel arrangements changed. Because the hotel is small, at times we were the last couple at the bar or restaurant, but the staff was still eager to accommodate. The restaurant is Michelin quality, much more modern than traditional Napolese cuisine, and the perfect compliment to more-hearty local restaurants.

We traveled throughout the Amalfi Coast and we very much enjoyed our stay at the Relais Blu. We stayed here, then Positano and then outside Amalfi. The Relais Blu was by far nicer than a comparably-priced hotel in Positano.

Overall Relais Blu very much surpassed our expectations. The hotel is beautiful and has incredible views of Capri and the Naples Bay. The service was all great, both leading up to our reservation and during our stay. The restaurant was a pleasant surprise - the food there was absolutely delicious and some of the better food we had on our trip. The location is a bit far from \"anything\" so it has to be the type of place you're willing to just hang out and relax, or take day trips from (as you aren't going to just run down the street for lunch or to do some shopping). My only mild complaint would be abut the pool, as the staffing there was inconsistent.

This hotel is amazing. The management, owners and staff really make you feel at home. The rooms are clean and beautiful, some with the most incredible views of Capri. The service is truly top notch, on par with any hotel I have ever stayed at. The patio are both wonderful for a drink in the afternoon or breakfast looking at the sea. The restaurant is magnificent and low key. The bar makes great cocktails. Overall, Relais Blu is an excellent alternative for the wildly expensive hotels on the Amalfi Coast.

If you are looking for a great place to rest and relax for a few days, it will be hard to beat the Relais Blu. The views from rooms, terrace, dining area, pool, etc. are all fantastic. The main dining area is pricey with above average but not excellent offerings. The wine list is very good. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff work very hard to please. The biggest knock on the hotel is the lack of access to anything else but the hotel. Without a car, you are not on the bus route and nothing is in walking distance, if you want to just kick back and have a great property, it would be a great choice.

This hotel is simply wonderful. We saw the images on the website and it was even more spectaculer in person. The hotel is super clean, zen and relaxing as we wanted and the view itself worth the price we paid. Staff is verry welcoming and friendly. The only thing I thought could have been better was the food. It was ok and sometime not. I would have expected more from such an exquisite place. But don't get me wrong, having breakfast on the terrace and drinking your capucino while admiring the island of capri makes you forget about it. This hotel deserves its super great rating.

Gorgeous site at the tip of the Sorrento peninsula

We booked for seven days, and as this is not our usual form of holiday, were a bit nervous about committing that length of time to one hotel. We need not have feared. The hotel was beautifully situated with views of Capri to the left, the Bay of Naples in front, and Mount Vesuvius to the right. It was cool, almost minimalist, which suits us, and very spacious - even when it was busy we never felt crowded. The swimming pool is in the beautiful grounds up the hill, so doesn't disturb the tranquility of guests in the hotel. The room was well appointed and kept immaculate. We didn't hire a car, but still did trips to Herculaneum (taxi/local train) and the Amalfi Coast (boat). The local beach club will send a car to pick you up.

Great for relaxing and sunsets

We chose this hotel to have a relaxing few days at the start of our Italian holiday. We didn't really need it to be near the Amalfi Coast as we were going to Ravello afterwards. We were initially tempted by the stunning views from its terrace and these certainly didn't disappoint as the pool area was fab and also the sunsets. The price for the truly amazing views is that the roads are quite twisty to reach it but I certainly wouldn't let that put me off! Food was also very good. We really enjoyed the hotel but about 3 days would be plenty due to its location.

Best view in the region!!

Very clean, very modern, and very relaxing. Pool has fantastic ciew and surrounded by nature. You feel like VIP because there is only 11 rooms, so you will be lucky to see more than 20 people on your entire stay. Great staff!! Just have the patience in driving to the resort.

Great for couples and that special weekend away.

We stayed here over our wedding and it is a great hotel. The views from the dining terrace are amazing and you won't find any as good anywhere else in the world! Staff are superb and couldn't help more. Shower and bath were amazing and make the room. Breakfast was also brilliant and the prosecco was an amazing touch. Only thing I would say negatively was our room had a little damp in the bathroom which when you spend so much and the rest of the hotel is breath taking, it does let is down and is my reason for it dropping to a four. Had an amazing dinner here too with outstanding food and probably the best meal of this style I have had. Well worth eating here one night, even if you don't stay!

Breathtaking views and the best service!!!

In our last trip to Italy we've been from staying in a boutique hotel in Venice to a unique Aruvedic Spa in Tuscany and the experience at the 'Relais Blu' was the most outstanding one.
The service is in the hands of true service oriented staff and owners themselves in very close contact with the guests. Always accommodating guests needs to the fullest. The hotel has the most spectacular view of Capri Island you can see from their beautiful terrace or from just your own bed every morning. Being a chef myself I must say that the restaurant serves a well sorted variety of dishes worthy of any top of the line hotel or restaurant. Amazing wine list and great sommelier assistance.
