We really enjoyed the cottage. It was super quiet. It wins the most pillows award in our month-long travels. Easy walk to town and hiking trails. We even had a BBQ one night. Great views as well. Staff was extremely helpful with local bus directions to Sorrento - glad we listened to them and did not drive.

The hotel staff was very accommodating to our needs especially arranging transportation to Sorrento. The hotel was beautiful and very clean. Air conditioning was minimal and we had to open balcony doors at night in order to sleep comfortably. Overall would recommend staying at this property as it was high up in the hills and quiet.

Our stay at O Sole Mio was enjoyable overall. The hotel was very clean, with excellent room service and a lovely garden, though some renovation work and the small pool were a bit disruptive.

Staff were friendly and welcoming, special thanks to Veronica in the hotel reception for her outstanding service.

The main drawback is the location: being uphill, it’s cooler than Sorrento and takes about 20–25 minutes each time to reach town. Breakfast could also be improved, as the constant questions from catering staff felt intrusive rather than relaxing.

A clean, welcoming hotel with great service, but the location and a few small issues slightly affected our stay.

It was lovely to stay out of Sorrento and have views across to Naples and Vesuvius. A couple of mornings we were in the clouds which was magical. We only had breakfast but it plentiful and the staff were lovely! I found the beds a little hard but that was my issue not my husbands however the sofa bed was heavenly. If possible request a room over the entrance to the hotel, it’s not noisy at all and you get a beautiful view. If facing the other way it’s still beautiful but you’re looking at villages down the hill. The pool is small but fine for our needs. I was a little disappointed that the pool boy said we weren’t allowed to bring a boiled sweet to the pool side however water was allowed. Would I stay here again? In a heartbeat!

Best hotel i could book for 6 days of travelling Sorrento and the area. The crew is so thoughtful and helping, they helped us with recommendations for nearby activities. Also, I celebrated my birthday and they helped my boyfriend to surprise me with a flowers bouquet.
Highly recommended. Best VFM and the area itself of Massa Lubrense is beautiful and peaceful, full with classic delicious Italian restaurants.
Would definitely love to go back there!

Traveling from the suburbs of Philadelphia and Washington DC area where we lived 37 year to be in Roma was quite a cultural shock. After 3 days in Roma the hotel O Sole Mio was exactly what my son and I needed to reset and prepare for travel to Sicily. Top of the mountain and amazing view city below the from pool area!

Our room faced north and was above the entrance overlooking the car park. There were no lamps. No proper wardrobe. No dressing table or drawers. The hotel lacked charm and atmosphere. It was clean. The bed was comfortable and the staff mostly friendly. The breakfast was disappointing. Tinned fruit and warm scrambled eggs

The property and our room were very nice. We had a balcony with a view of Sorrento, across the water. We did not get a chance to use the pool, but the area looked very nice. If you are booking tours, I would recommend booking thru the hotel, as they will pick you up there. We made the mistake of booking one tour thru someone else and we had to walk 10 minutes to the bus stop, then take a bus to another city to pick up the tour. We had to get up very early to do this, Franco was wonderful he had to-go bags ready for us with water, juice a pastry and sandwiches. He helped us with the 2nd tour booking which was great and many other things, he made our stay very special! We also had a great experience with Marco and also with the bartender and a nice women at the desk, ( can't remember all the names) that helped us in booking a bus to get to the airport.

It is a clean and brand new hotel and amazing view, staff, facilities, but it is far away from Sorrento train station where cost you 80 euro to get this hotel. If you take bus with 1.5euro you can get the center of Santa Agatha then 15 min walk up heel to get the hotel.

We had a death in the family and so had to return for a few days to the USA. I tried to postpone the reservation, or get a refund. They would do nothing to help me. You likewise were unwilling to help us in our time of need.

Excelente estadía! el hotel es acogedor, comodo, limpio. El desayuno es abundante en un salón con hermosa vista al mar. Sorprendida gratamente, no esperaba tanto por la tarifa abonada. Será mi opción de volver a la península Sorrentina. La atención del staff es muy buena.

Loved this hotel. It was modern, up to date and extremely clean. The pool area is stunning, with a beautiful garden and pool overlooking a cliff and the sea. The staff was extremely attentive and friendly. Our stay included breakfast which was also excellent. This hotel is highly recommended and is a great value!

Have a great experience. Hotel was charming. Only thing I wish I knew was the shuttle runs every 2 hours so when we arrived by ferry, we had to take a taxi which was 80 euros. Otherwise a great trip to a darling area.

I had a terrible experience with this hotel. We had to stay in Sorrento even though we were staying in Furore because of unfortunate events. When we tried to checkin, receptionist was not welcoming at all and chose not to help us at all. Our passports were in Furore but we had other identifications that he refused to accept. At the end our other host spoke to police and convinced them to accept our situation and only then the receptionist had to check us in. Also the location is very far from the center and there is nothing around. I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Sole Mio. Staff were very helpful and kind throughout. Our room was great, tidy and a good view of the town. Parking was easy and the town was walkable with lots of dining options. Would recommend taking the drive to \"Il Panorama\" restaurant, best in town and best view. Don't waste your time eating dinner/lunch at the hotel, it was sadly disappointing and quite pricey. Better dining options in town.

We have chosen this hotel because of free parking option. The parking is just in front of the main entrance and is decent. The reception service is nice, the receptionists are helpful and polite. The same cannot be said about the staff at the restaurant. They are rude, impolite and inattentive. They just put some junk food on your tsble and disappear. They do not react to your orders, meaning that they bring what they want and go away. The food quality is below the average: coffee is bad, no meat, no cheese, no fruits, no hot food. I have never been to a 4* hotel with such low breakfast quality (corresponding to 2*).
The rooms are well maintained, room service is good and the pool area is ok.
Still, does not meet the standards of a 4* hotel, therefore my recommendation is to choose from other options, unless parking is your main necessity.

The hotel was not a real 4*. What made it so was the pool and pretty, well kept garden.
It was spotlessly clean and the staff were super, very helpful.
Breakfast, although plentiful and some of the items very good, the fruit juices were not pure and the coffee from a machine was revolting . There were no tissues in the room, no bottle opener and a plug socket did not work. The wash basin was slightly blocked and when leaving very early for the airport, there was no water as the pump had been turned off.
The garden that was over looked from our balcony was unkempt, as were parts of the back of the building.
In my view it was not cared for as it should have been. Oh and reception for WiFi was non existent the higher up the rooms were.

We had the 2 bed apartment called Stella. It was lovely and typically Italian. We love the town and although the hotel it is at the top of the hill for us it wasn't s problem. We go in to town 2 or 3 times a day and get great fresh produce to cook back at the apartment to eat on or patio. Would definitely return.

The stay was fine - and breakfast was included in our pricing. The breakfast was average though - with replenishment of eatables taking inordinately long.

The property location is not far from the town centre - and local transportation.

Cons - They charge 2 Euros (per towel) for borrowing towels at the pool. This is not advised at the time of borrowing the towels - though it is mentioned in the fine print.

Lovely hotel a short distance from Sorrento

We were let down by a well know American site that provides bed and breakfast platform, their specialist support and the host, meaning that we were unable to stay in the accommodation that we had booked for 4 nights.
Very fortunately, this hotel provide a 24 hour concierge so we rolled up there at 3am. We ended up staying our entire 4 nights at this hotel.
The hotel has sea views from both directions. It is charming with polite friendly staff a beautiful carefully tended garden and swimming pool and pizzeria.
Parking was freely available in the hotel's private car park, which is a massive bonus in this part of Italy :-) :-)
Breakfast was included, there was a good selection of cereal, fruit, yoghurt, breads, scrambled eggs, sausage and streaky bacon, and pastries.
The rooms were clean and ours had a good sized balcony.
The location just outside Sant' Agata sui Due Golfi. It was a short walk to this small busy town, not too touristy, with many locals and walking distance of some great coves for sea swimming.
Buses are to Sorrento are easily available.

Hotel bom na cidade de Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi. Hotel com ótimas instalações. Atendimento excelente. Time de recepção e restaurante bem atendimentos. Chegamos tarde e eles ajudaram a pedir uma pizza bem gostosa. Esse hotel é distante de Sorrento, cerca de 30 a 40 minutos. Para quem quer ficar no centro não é uma boa opção. Mas, o hotel oferece transfer gratuito em vários horários do dia para ida e volta. Quarto e banheiros grandes e confortáveis Próximos de dois restaurantes avaliados pelo Michelin, sendo um deles com 1 estrela. Tem piscina. Café da manhã poderia ser melhor.
