The Leone Blu Suites room we stayed in was lovely.. High ceilings,very spacious, classical decor with walk in robe and ensuite.. Very comfortable bed and associated furniture.. We very much enjoyed staying in this room, so so comfortable.. The staff from the very friendly and helpful reception personnel to the very attentive and friendly breakfast staff made the stay at Leone Blu Suites a very pleasant experience.. Location is great as it is in walking distance to most of the important sights around Florence and has plenty of nearby restaurants cafes and retail outlets.. Well done to the staff of Leone Blu for making our stay such a memorable and pleasant experience.. Thank You !!

Unreal experience. It’s like living like royalty although there are some minor quirky things on account of the property being a local treasure but the staff are amazing and take great care of the guests. Such hospitality is not common these days.

I've stayed at a lot of hotels, and am in love with this one. It's a beautiful palace, which made it one of the more unique hotel stays we've ever had. The breakfast room was beautiful, as was the view from there. And the staff were all so kind and amenable. Highly recommend this place!

They also offered two very large rooms for guests’ use and had an ‘honesty bar’ where you could poor yourself a simple drink for a small fee, allowing us to take in the rooms, grandeur, and setting, while sipping some refreshing.
I cannot imagine returning to Florence without thinking to stay here as my preference. It elevated the trip to something it otherwise wouldn’t have been.

Absolutely beautiful and unique time here. The staff were top-notch; helpful, kind and discreet. Breakfast had everything you could want including delicious cappuccino! It was a little warm in the room at night but that was a small issue compared to all the many positives of this property. They have very light aromatic oil sticks in the common areas; a wonderful aroma wafts by you at times. Nothing strong; just very nice. Housekeeping daily at your convenience. I highly recommend staying in this beautiful place! Oh and it’s very walkable to … basically everywhere.

It was like staying at a museum. Striking. I wished my room had more outside light but other than that it was great. The bathroom is nice and renovated. The reception and host was incredible so attentive and friendly. The location of the hotel was so great right on the river and you can easily go to the other side where more of the restaurants I enjoyed were located.

We had super great experience staying here. Reception lady I don’t know how to spell her name. She is really nice friendly and gave us information where to go and history about the city and the hotel. Very useful and interesting. If you need anything she’s there to help. River view room is fantastic we also saw fireworks at night. And it’s convenient and walking distance to most of attractions. Highly recommend for this hotel.

This hotel was extremely charming and in the most beautiful location. Room was spacious, and the paintings and carvings on the ceiling were extraordinary. Bathroom was large and clean and quite comfortable. The women in the Reception area was friendly and courteous and extremely helpful. Food was delicious at breakfast. We love our stay at Leone Blu Suites. The location is awesome and closed to everything, easy walk from train station. Most of all, the view of River Amos is just unbeatable. Upon arrival, the reception was great, attentive and efficient. We are a family of four, the loft suite was roomy, great decor, big windows opened to river view and plenty of privacy. The breakfast was good too. We were surprised given the central location, it wasn't noisy at night.

Could be better...
The hotel has a privileged location with fantastic views, but our stay was not very good for the following reasons: We stayed in the \"Pandolfo\" suite and the wooden windows do not adjust well and let the noise and cold from the street through. In the bathroom, the extractor communicates with the street and that is why noise and very cold comes in. On the second day, when we arrived at the room, it was tidy and left the empty bottles, used coffee and glass cups on the counter. They also did not replace the used complimentary coffees. It's a shame because for small details the stay that could have been fantastic was less good.

I wanted a memorable hotel stay while in Florence and I definitely found it at the Leone Blu. While it is listed as only a 2 star hotel, I have stayed at 5 star hotels that were not as comfortable or friendly. Andrea, at the front desk, was extremely amenable. Even during Covid, the staff was there whenever we needed something while still keeping social distancing. We booked the best room at the hotel which was in line price wise with the cheapest rooms at the 5-star hotels. The room was two stories with large airy spaces, including a childrens room with two twin beds that we did not use. All this within easy walking distance to all the major sites. Will stay here again when back in Florence.

My mom and I had a wonderful stay! I couldnt shut up about the view and she couldnt shut up about the breakfast. Everyone was SO accomodating and willing to help with every request. Only confusing part was figuring out how to get in the first time. Would stay again 100%.

There is no sign to tell you where to find theReception desk once you arrived in the lobby, the lobby is a empty grand room. There is no front desk after 10 pm you need to swipe the key card otherwise you won't be able to Pass the main gate/ door which is locked after 10pm. The room with a river view is also facing a main traffic street, the windows are single layer old window, you can hear the cars and motorcycle passes by very often, good luck if you are a light sleeper.

Booked Leone Blu Suites for a recent trip to Florence. The room size is very big, even had a walk in closet. The whole vibe of the place is more of an apartment rental, which we liked. Location was fantastic for main tourist spots or crossing the river to a quieter side of Florence. The people who worked there were very friendly. Would stay again.

The room was absolutely beautiful! We had a view of the river and the ceilings must have been at least 20 feet high, just incredible! The women at the desk were so friendly and helpful, we loved everything about it. The only thing that is a little confusing is that it is not a hotel you can walk into the lobby. You have to ring the bell on the river side (not on the circle where you get dropped off). After you are checked in you can get in easily so only getting in the first time can be a little confusing. The breakfast was included and was wonderful. Their desk was right outside our door but we never heard anyone from our room. I highly recommend this hotel, it is luxury all the way!
