What a lovely clean, spacious hotel. We had a family room and there was a separate area (separate room really but no door) for the kids. Great breakfast with fruit, croissants, ham&cheese, eggs, lots of cakes. Nice area and not noisy. Beds very comfortable. One of the best sleeps this week.

I had a room that the bed is right next to the toilet. The room is very small compare to the price. However, the location of the hotel is near to the ferry port and central. Easy to find once you are up on ground level from the port. If you have luggages with you, please use the lift, do not try to drag it up 500 stairs to the ground level where everything are..

Good location but that’s it

Me and 2 of my friends spent 3 nights at this hotel. We were in Italy for 9 days and this was the most disappointing hotel out of all the places we stayed. The location is good (right in the piazza tassa aka city center) and the rooms were fine, but they offer nothing else. It’s very “no frills.” If you need anything, good luck. The blow dryer in our room was broken and we asked for 3 days to get a replacement blow dryer (because one was promised with our booking). The cleaning crew kept saying they’d bring one but never did. They were then was very rude with us when we said we had to go buy our own blow dryer and they accused us of stealing their converter. The rooms might be fine for 2 people but way too small for 3 and the cot, which the third person has to sleep on, is old and uncomfortable. I’ve been to Italy a few times and there are plenty of other hotels I’d recommend instead of this place.

Very clean and great location. If you are coming from the port, take a taxi. Otherwise you will walk up some stairs and it’s not fun with luggage. There is a lift available but you have to drag your luggage to the elevator. Beat to taxi. Also going back to the airport we took a Curreggi shuttle. Pickup is at the Sorrento train station and you book you tickets on line. Would stay here again lastly it may not seem like the a/c works. But it does. Just takes a little bit of time too cool the room.

The hotel was in a great location, walkable to alot. The communication was poor. When asked about parking, they informed me an offsite parking was available and they had an agreement for 25/day, they didnt inform me which one. Thwy were more concerned about trying to book Excursions with them. They emailed all the time about excursions, talked about them at check in. And in the room. They put signs up everywhere about no food allowed to be brought in room, but dont inform u of that either. Which is funny since they offer snacks in their mini bar.

Hotel Villa di Sorrento is located in the center of the city. Super convenient to the train/bus station (~5 min walk) and the ferry (~7 min walk). There is also a taxi lane right outside of the hotel if needed. The staff was wonderful. I was celebrating my birthday when I was staying with them and they all were so sweet. I stayed in a single room, which was pretty small but all I really needed if you’re just going to be there to sleep and shower. The bed frame was a bit dusty but otherwise room was clean. Would recommend staying here, especially if it is your first time in Sorrento because you’re able to walk around without worrying about parking a car etc.

Our room was ready by 10:30 am which was great. We had room 9 on the first floor. Queen size bed and very confortable. Balcony facing piazza Tessa. There was no mirror in the bedroom area, only one in the bathroom and I wish it has a little table with a chair in the room, hoewever, there was a seating area at the lobby with chairs and desk. Location was extremely convenient, restaurants and shopping all walking distance. Also, if you go in the summer time you might want to get a hotel with a pool. The beach gets very crowded and a pool would have been very convenient to cool off. In general great hotel at a reasonable price!!

After my third time is Sorrento, this is my favorite hotel. It’s not ostentatious. It’s beautiful and in the heart of Sorrento. After eating breakfast with fresh orange juice, we shopped in Piazza Tasso, walked to Marina Piccola to board a ferry to Positano, or spend the day at the beach. Everything was in walking distance.

The hotel was clean and charming. Our ac worked great for these hot August days. We had fresh towels and comfortable beds. Our balcony opened to the main piazza. The staff was friendly and helpful.

We’ll definitely return to Villa di Sorrento.

The room was disappointingly dirty, with black hairs everywhere. I also found mold on the breakfast food. Despite the great location and potential of the actual space, the experience was subpar. Additionally, management attempted to charge me for my service animal, despite my providing government issued disability documentation. Their claim that they had to charge a fee to cover extra cleaning due to animal hair was particularly ironic given the overall uncleanliness of the room in human hair.

There is also much shopping and dining options in the area. Also, it is a short walk to a beautiful view of the bay of Naples and the Ocean. Upon my arrival later that evening the fridge was still broken, I went downstairs to check in since the water I had put in the fridge earlier was hot and unfortunately with the new system some hotels in Europe have, you can't leave the AC ON in your room. It was extremely hot in Sorrento,and the room was like an oven upon that evening. The reception response was that a technician will check the fridge the next morning, no other solution ( I reported the fridge around 5pm)
I can understand a fully booked hotel, but the heads-up to either bring cold water with me and perhaps being offered some ice or cold water would've been nice, but I had to ask for ice so I could cool off and drink some water before going to bed. Since the room was an oven -at this point a working Fridge is a necessity other than a commodity.
I sent an email to Hotels.com that got forwarded to the hotel management. I was approached about it at breakfast. I had a hard time explaining it wasn't a review and even if it was, it's not like I lied but management wasn't too happy about my email and the attitude was rather defensive. This is what I had an issue with, the way I was approached about it. I switched rooms they offered me afree minibar.

This is an ok place, but frankly it is not worth it. They did not give clear indication and advice on parking although the hotel advertised as parking available. We ended up paying for 35 euro per day at a nearby on our own because the parking place they mention is further away and inconvenient to a visitor to say the list.

The location was convenient, the room and the other services acceptable. But really there are better places nearby with better pricing.

Amazing property! Clean rooms and central location. The staff and manager go out of their way to be accommodating to their guests. Also, their breakfast buffet is the best I’ve ever had. They have anything you want and it’s fresh and delicious. Would highly recommend you stay here if possible!

Location Was Perfect !!

Fantastic location for everything. Very walkable to ferries and the main square. Taxi's were pretty much right out front of the hotel if needed. Breakfast was good. Very clean. Restaurants and happy hours are plentiful .. will be back again.

This hotel is clean and convenient from all of the restaurants and bars. The only complaint I have is that the room was very very small and you could hear everything from the next room over but if you’re looking for a well priced hotel, this one is decent.
