This did not feel like a hotel. It felt like a large apartment with multiple bedrooms. This was ok with us, just looking for a clean place to sleep for a night.
Biggest negative for us was the noise. Location is convenient but also in the heart of all the noise (middle of August). Plenty of street noise can be heard until late. Breakfast service started early but also next to most of the room doors so you will get early noise too. So overall, I would recommend this budget friendly option, but perhaps not in the middle of August when street noise is likely at its peak. I would also recommend the property to maybe skip the breakfast option as to provide a quieter environment for the guests in the morning especially during the busier months. Maybe just grab and go options.

We booked a much larger room advertised on the website but when we arrived at 5pm they only had a small room for 4 with a bed they added. They said all the rooms were the same but we saw the large room when we checked out. Given the language issue no one to complain to but we absolutely would expect a refund- hotels.com is also at fault so doubt will use that service again.

No one available at reception till 2 pm. Hence no early check in, no one to help with luggage to the b&b at first floor (14 ft ceilings) no lift or handrails. Online pictures of rooms not available on hotels.com. owner told me we got the cheap rooms, but nothing else was listed. Linen and towels only changed every three days, 20 euro charge for clean linen, but we stayed 4 days, they did not change linen etc. Breakfast is good.

What a cute and quaint little property. It’s right in the middle of a block full of shops and restaurants. Very beautiful very quiet, but the staff is incredible. Particularly the breakfast staff. The two ladies were phenomenal. Very caring and very attentive. This property is close to pretty much everything you would want to go and do or see.

This location is very convenient for going anywhere in Sorrento. It is on the main walking street of Sorento. You can get a taxi from the port or the train station and it will take you to the main square and then you must walk a half a block to the entrance. The hotel is on the 2nd floor of a building that does not have an elevator so you will need to carry your luggage up 3 flights of stairs. The reception is not manned until 2:00pm and so you will need to wait until someone comes to open the door of the property. The room was a good size but there are no windows that look out onto a street. The bathroom has a nice shower with strong hot water. The room was not cleaned regularly and we had to ask for clean towels and additional toilet paper twice. The breakfast options are limited to pastries, sometimes cut-up fruit, scrambled eggs (even though they are fried for you when you come for breakfast, the ladies don't seem to know how to make anything else with the eggs), and a ham panini. The best thing about this place is its location.

Fantastic location right on the main pedestrian street in town. Effortless check-in. We stayed in a large triple room. Check-in was easy, and the breakfast, along with the ladies serving it, was terrific. I'd stay here again without a doubt.

We Loved It
The lodging is small and perfect for our needs. The very best part of our experience was the husband and wife team working as the staff. Breakfast in the morning was one of the highlights of our stay. There are only a handful of rooms, and everyone eats at a common table. The lady of the establishment cooks eggs to order, makes cappuccino, ham and eggs sandwiches, and more. During breakfast I met people from all over Europe. My wife sleeps in a bit, and when I asked for a cappuccino for her, an entire breakfast was delivered to our door.
Rooms were impeccably clean.
The only downside to Casa Sorrentina is there can be a bit of street noise at night.

Right in the heart of town. Tons of very upscale restaurants and bars. A lift from the street level in the town takes you down to the harbor where you can book a ferry to see the stunning old towns hanging from the cliffs. ferry drops you in each town fore an hour.

Next time we will stay in a quieter place and one that is staffed 24/7 and where we are able to call the Hotel on a phone and not have to resort to messaging on Whatsapp. It appears that the owners want to save phone expenses at the cost of convenience to its patrons...patrons who would be willing to pay the extra fee for having these services.

There was a little sewer smell when you flush the toilets. But oh well it's an old building.

This was a good place to stay in Sorrento if you want to be centrally located to everything. Train, ferry, shops, restaurants are all very close. The staff was wonderful and the morning breakfast was really nice. My only complaint is the street noise at night, especially on the weekends. If you're staying during busy season or on a weekend, and want to get to bed before midnight you'll hear a lot of partying in the area.

Antinella and Nancy were the lovingest and sweetest each morning making breakfast and coffee; real gems that took pride in Casa Sorrentina. Ivan was so helpful and cheerful each day he came to work! I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

What a hidden gem. Perfectly located. Comfortable beds and the breakfast is like no other bed and breakfast I’ve ever had. Would come back here 1,000%!

Casa Sorrentina is perfectly located in the heart of Sorrento just steps away from shops, restaurants, and historic sites. A three-minute walk takes you to panoramic views of the water and coastline. We were lovingly cared for by Antonella who prepared delicious breakfasts for us each morning and brightened our days. She is a true gem. Our room was large and comfortable, with a Juliet balcony overlooking the cobblestone street below were pedestrians strolled beneath orange trees enjoying the sites.
Although there isn't on-site parking, there are two garages within easy walking distant. We enjoyed four wonderful days here and can highly recommend it.

It’s a guesthouse top of a shop without any amenities and services. Climb 2 floors on dirty stairs as there no elevators. Nothing provided except 1 set of towels. Breakfast only eggs, toast and cereal. Though rooms are clean. If you lock out or forget the room keys no one available at site to speak. Expedia must compensate and refund the room fees for incorrectly describing the property as hotel

We love the room and the breakfast! Antonella was really amazing. She took care of every detail for us! The only thing we did not like is that the elevator was not working. We had a lot of luggage and two elderly people in our family and it was really hard to bring them up two set of stairs. Other than that, Casa Sorrentina was perfect for our holiday!!

Our family of 4 stayed three nights here. We had a great time! The room was extremely spacious, very affordable, and the location was right in the heart of Sorrento. Nothing much more you could ask for really. Each morning a lovely woman was in the lobby cooking fresh made-to-order breakfasts that my whole family enjoyed. If we revisit Sorrento we would gladly stay here again

Owner insisted on getting paid at check in (very unusual). Got a room with a window opening to another building's very close wall. Felt claustrophobic.We had to change room the following day with one that has a window on the main street.Sheets and towels are changed every 3 days, or you pay 10 euros if replaced daily. Towels changed every 3 days!! (we complained, and they did not charge us). First day only, they leave 2 small water bottles in the fridge. You get one small water bottle, each, at breakfast ...What a service!!! (but, no water on the other days).The 2 ladies cooking breakfast to order were very nice, but the breakfast space was like sitting in a box. Very busy and noisy street below with hard beat music. A very sweet girl sits at a desk from 2:00pm to 8:00pm, but don't know much.(was expecting info from the front desk !).

This hotel has it all! The location is perfect. You are able to get to the train station or ferry in minutes. It is surrounded by fabulous restaurants, cafes, and shopping. The staff at the Casa Sorrentina wanted to go the extra mile for our family of 4 during our 8 night stay. They were very helpful and friendly. The daily breakfast was fantastic! A variety of items available and cooked to perfection. Our family stayed in the Quad room and it was more than enough space for us. You will not be disappointed if you visit Sorrento and stay at the Casa Sorrentina.

Great location. Major sites walkable. Many eating choices and all kinds of shopping just steps away, yet quiet during the night. Room spacious and new, with ample seating and flat spaces. Roomy shower. There was a mix-up with our room, but grateful that Samuele was willing and able to resolve it the next day. Excellent housekeeping. Room was immaculately clean, and the Signora who does the housekeeping was so accommodating and attentive, which enhanced our stay. (So sorry we neglected to get her name!)

The property manager, Cristiana, was extremely helpful in making sure we got to Sorrento in the best possible way. She had frequent communication with us before we even arrived. Once we were there, she was welcoming and very pleasant to deal with. She made sure we had everything we needed, and gave great recommendations for dining and things to do. Location in center of town and convenient to shops and dining. About a 5 minute walk (lots of stairs) to marina / coast, which can take you to Capri. Service was exceptional and fresh croissants delivered each morning. They also arranged a driver to deliver us to the Naples train station. Everything was so easy thanks to Cristiana at the desk.

Everything was great. Felt like home -- even with a shared kitchen. Coffee maker and breakfast croissants (choices vary) a bonus. Cristiana was very communiative and extremely helpful. Our room was exceptional in many ways. The lighting was exceptional and the suite was spacious. Without a regular reception, communication was not always good. We rented the room including breakfast. It turned out that the breakfast was limited to coffee and a waffle (crepe or brioche) at an ice cream bar. We had to go out and buy groceries to supplement this meagre breakfast! The location of the guesthouse is quite good.

I booked this property for 4 nights in 2020 ! Covid hit and I had to cancel! I contacted the property and was told not to cancel with Expedia so they will get the money and I will get a voucher with them! The voucher would be valid for a year which is in September 2021! In July of 2021 I contacted the property again to tell them that I was diagnosed with cancer and that I was doing chemo and asked if they can extend the voucher till 2022! I got a great response from the person who answered my message and told me yes I will extend it another year and to get well! I contacted the property again in October of 2021 to book 6 night in May 2022! The person who talked to me refused to honor their promise and said the voucher expired a year after the reservation and I even showed her the message that promised to extend the voucher but to no avail! I feel like I was scammed and they will say anything to get the money and then they won’t honor their voucher! I booked with another hotel for 2022 but I don’t think that it’s right that they got the money and won’t give me room!
