We received a warm welcome from the host and were offered breakfast during our stay. There is paid off site parking where someone will drive you to and from the room to get to your car. The location was convenient as well. Room was pretty clean and we had basic amenities. Although there were no tissues or napkins or any extra toiletries in case you forgot something or ran out. The only issue was the room got really cold during our last night and the heater wouldn’t turn on. Overall good stay!

We had a lovely stay at Casa Dominova de Luxe! The place is charming, clean, and perfectly located in the heart of Sorrento. Christina was absolutely wonderful—so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The atmosphere felt cozy and welcoming, and the garden area added a special touch. Casa Dominova is very well situated to everything. As soon as you walk outside you're steps away from the wonderful charm of Sorrento.

The room was clean and spacious with a well stocked mini fridge. Also, the included breakfast was one of the most unbelievable spreads I've seen offered by a hotel. I recommend it to anyone travelling to Sorrento, and when I eventually go back I would love to stay here again.

Cristina was very helpful and attentive to your needs as a guest. She responded very quickly to messages and accomodated an early breakfast for us so that we could take it away on our day trip.
The accomodation is spotless and well kept. The room was large with plenty of space.
It was in a central location, perfect for being in the middle of Sorrento. It was nice and quiet even though it was so central. We never heard any outside/street noise.
The only issue we found was that our room specifically was under the aircon units for the building so noises from that could be heard on and off consistently. The walls were also pretty thin and we could hear our neighbours arguing like they were in the same room.

We loved staying out stay here. The rooms are fun & beautiful. Cristina was lovely, she waited for us delayed by a train strike & traveling 40minutes for us to store our bags for the day. Breakfast was included and there was an amazing spread with a variety of all different kinds or breakfast foods. The location was great too, shops and restaurants outside and a short walk away and the marina/beach clubs less than 5 mins away. Would defiantly recommend to stay here

I was so pleased to have stayed at Casa Dominova de Luxe. The room was very well equipped, quiet, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing too, it was served from 7.30am. The best thing about the property is its location. It is very close to everything, yet quiet and private. I was able to walk to the train station, harbour, shops and restaurants in minutes. We stayed in 2 rooms, 4 adults 1 baby (8months). We loved everything about our stay, from the moment we booked until the time we left - the service was exceptional. Cristina really went above and beyond for us, arranging our transfers, having rooms promptly ready on arrival and having a crib with bedding set up for us as well. The rooms were clean, and spacious. Excellent hospitality, and great breakfast selections. We will definitely stay here again, and we would recommend to anyone we know!

We had an early morning boat ride reservation and needed to leave before breakfast started, and Lina opened the breakfast early for us to make sure we were able to eat! An incredible spread of delicious options and the best cappuccino I've had so far in Italy! This place is a gem!

Impeccable service from beginning to end. Family run, Cristina contacted us prior to arrival to ascertain we knew how to get to hotel. Location was perfect for ferries, beach, shopping, restos and 10 minutes walk to train and bus station. Quiet terrace where you can relax, breakfast prepared and served by Cristina. Quad room was large for 4 adults. Cleanliness and design of rooms was excellent!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Dominova. Our room was the turquoise room - it was clean and nice and bright. Wifi worked great and the breakfast had plenty of options. Casa Dominova is located on a cobblestone street lined by restaurants and shops, and is very central in Sorrento. The most outstanding comment about this property is regarding the host, Christina - super friendly, helpful and attentive. She gave us dinner recommendations and even picked up our laundry because we weren’t sure if we’d be back from an excursion on time. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!!!

This hotel is very colourful and comfy, very easy to reach beaches and ports. Just few minutes to walk from train station. The host Cristina is very nice and friendly. The only thing is the Wi-Fi is not good.

A little gem

What an amazing little gem in the centre of historical Sorrento. The rooms have been refurbished to such a high standard . The breakfast area also had been revamped overlooking a courtyard. The buffet breakfast was beautifully laid out with a tremendous assortment of pastries, cakes ,cheese , ham , cereal and fresh fruit. Was made to feel very welcome by Christina who was so friendly . Was thrilled with accommodation and will definitely return.

Meh. Take it for the location only as it is within 10-15 minute walk from the port. Rather than the double room I booked, I was given a 4 person family room. I was told all other rooms were taken. I found this odd considering I had prepaid. The fridge was leaking, and overall, the room was not comfortable - dark and dingy. Think of it as an above average hostle in terms of comfort.

Overall a terrible experience. It’s a B&B but the breakfast including coffee was worse than terrible. Quality of food was extremely poor and did not have many choices. Grateful there was yogurt which is what we had in the morning. Tried to have fresh fruit but they were over ripe and could not be eaten. After breakfast we would go out and have a cappuccino to start our day. The beds were very uncomfortable, the walls paper thin to the point where we could here everything. No bars of soap, no shower caps, no safe to put belongings in I will never go there again and I will never recommend this place to anyone

Good location; very quiet despite nearby busy pedestrian streets. Hotel staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast in attractive courtyard. We stayed 5 nights as a base for coastal walks in the region. We could easily get into the Lattari Mountains (e.g. the highest summit Molare, and walks from Positano) using public transport. Amalfi is 2 hours away by bus (a car would take about the same time due to the narrow coastal roads) so better to stay in Amalfi if planning to do serious walks there. Package came with a 10% discount at nearby Blue Water restaurant, but check your bill to make sure this is honoured. We found Ristorante Sorrento (as close and along the same street) far more relaxing and staff there provided a better service.

Great stay in Sorrento!

The lady that checked us in was very friendly and helpful. Our room was very spacious and clean. It is in the heart of the old town streets, which was great for eating, shopping and the sights. Very close to train station and getting bus to Amalfi coast about a 10 min walk. Easy to access the ferry for going to Capri about 15 mins walk. We loved that area of Sorrento and would definitely stay there again. The breakfast was fantastic you could pick what you wanted from the menu they gave you and have it in your room at a table or in their garden so was great for getting going not having to find breakfast every morning!

A few days ago I stayed at Casa Dominova. It's located not very far from main attractions in Sorrento, and this is probably the best feature of this hotel . Rooms really need some updates. My room rate included breakfast but it was offered at 8 am which was too late if you had only a few days and wanted to see places around Sorrento.

We were in Sorrento for 2 nights. The 1st nt we stayed at Sorrento Apartments, however it was sold out the 2nd nt, therefore we had to move across the way to Casa Dominova (CD). The location is excellent, 15 min walk from the train station and a vibrant street of shops and restaurants. CD is clean however room is very dated. We left early in the morning therefore did not get to try the breakfast. Okay for a quick overnight stay, however no view, bed is adequate however blankets are made of rough burlap type material. Bathroom and shower is very small. Room had a refrigerator that got cold.

Lovely hotel, very authentic Italian style.

Very authentic looking, perfect location! It is right in the heart of the city centre of sorrento with lots of restaurants to eat at at night! Very nice breakfast and rooms were spacious and clean with all nessisary facilities. Very close by to the beach/dock. It took only a 7 minute walk to the main dock.

Smashing break

The hotel is situated right in the centre of the shopping and restaurants so is ideal for experiencing Sorrento. The room was spacious, clean and contained everything we needed including a safe and large fridge. Breakfast was included and ample to keep us going throughout the day. The staff were all welcoming and helpful. We couldn't fault anything especially the value for money and will definitely use again.

Casa Dominova sign is small so look for address more so than the sign. Hotel staff members are very warm and welcoming. They gave us all the touristy info, a map and the hotel location served our family of 4 well. They arranged Napoli Centrale to hotel taxi transfer which was a breeze and helped us avoid slow train touted to be paradise for pick pockets.

Nice place in Sorrento

We had nice comfortable room with attached bath. The area is quiet, yet very close to restaurants and is in the charming, old part of Sorrento. Everything was clean. Breakfast was quite substantial and included quiche, pastries, cereal, and meats/cheese. Check in was quick.

Buffet breakfast is very basic. Cereal, croissants, toast, juice, and fruit.
Push button machine for Cappuccino, etc., and another for Expresso.

Disappointment in a beautiful town

We were given a suite room suitable for 4 guests, although we were only 2 adults. The bathroom was down a hall from the bed, although still within the suite. The queen bed was lumpy with springs sticking into your back. There were ants on the bathroom floor. The toilet seat had a large crack in it. There were no bedside tables. Lighting was poor in the room. Upon complaining the next morning, we were offered a different room, which we gladly took. The bed was still lumpy. The bathroom was so small, it was difficult to move in there. There was a mirror falling out of the bathroom cabinet door, which had been taped in place. The ant problem persisted. The office is attended for a few hours each day, not consistently. The breakfast was a very nice offering in the pleasant outdoor courtyard, but it wasn't ready at 8 a.m. as stated, more like 8:15. When we were ready to check out, we were delayed in our plans because no one was at the office until 9 a.m. The bright paint colors cannot disguise what is an urgent need to remodel each room with new bathrooms, updated lighting, new mattresses, better wifi service, and better office attendance. We felt this hotel was a big disappointment in a wonderful location close to everything in Sorrento. We stayed 4 nights as scheduled because of the excellent location, secure setting, and fair price, but I don't recommend it until it has undergone a remodel.

The hotel is centrally located which is excellent for exploring Sorrento. The staff were excellent- friendly and always happy to answer any questions we had. Our room had everything we needed beds comfortable, TV, Wifi and was spacious and clean. Breakfast provided was everything you could want to keep you going till lunch and beyond. This accommodation was great value for money and we will definitely use again.

Convenient location in Sorrento

A set of rooms in a convenient location in Sorrento, providing a good base to visit Pompeii and Herculaneum.
We were met by a friendly receptionist who explained everything. We had a family room which consisted of a large room separated by a half wall and with a separate bathroom. The room, linen and towels were clean. Breakfast was served in an outside courtyard and was plentiful and varied, if being ready at varying times during our stay.

Excellent location near many restaurants and shops. 10-minute walk from the train station and 5-minute walk to the port to go to Capri and Amalfi Coast. Clean hotel, air conditioning and Wifi worked well, but the breakfast buffet, included in hotel rate, is limited. Front desk is not manned all the time and you need three keys to get to your room: one key for the main door for the building, one key to enter the hotel, a third key to enter your room. You have to carry these with you all the time.

We loved Casa Dominova and Marianna and Anna made everything so easy. We had easy access to everything and arrangements for transfers were done with ease. Breakfast was quite nice and we were satisfied. Our only complaint would be the shower. It was quite small and we often ended up turning off the water as we used it because the handle would get bumped. In all of the places we stayed in Italy, this room had the best bed!

We had 4 lovely days at cash dominova while we explored sorrento, Capri and the main archeological sites. It took us a little while to find the hotel although this could be more to do with our map reading skills than the directions! Rooms are clean, homely and quite basic but everything you need is provided. The receptionist was lovely, very helpful (sorry I forgot your name) . Our only slight disappointment was that the garden was not yet ready to breakfast in so we are in our room. Nice pastries! .. Would definitely stay again as very reasonably priced for the centre of sorrento.

Great location, great price!

This little B&B is in the heart of the Sorrento shopping district, but also just 2 minutes from coastal views. We found Sorrento easily accessible from this B&B walking distance from the train station.
Although Casa Dominova is placed next to restaurants and shops once inside our room there was silence, no issue with noise.
Marianna was lovely, she made us feel very welcome and was very helpful.
The hotel is reasonably priced, I would be happy to stay again.

We used Sorrento as a jump off point to see the ruins at Pompei and the Amalfi coast. The hotel is located inside an apartment building complex. There is no 'lobby' so we had to wait for someone to arrive when we first got there, which was after check-in had ended. Breakfast was fine but room was tight and small bathroom

We were disappointed. We chose this hotel because of its great location and previous reviews but we found the b&b to be very deficient. The room was very small and the bathroom was almost non-existent. The shower was tiny (we couldn't even close the shower doors because it was so small and you had to sit at an angle on the toilet because the space was too small for your shoulders. The breakfast was pathetic. We had to send the cappuchino back because they forgot to put coffee in it. There was a cup of yogurt, but otherwise there was just pre-packaged melba toast. There is no breakfast area in the hotel so they bring a tray to your room. However, there are no chairs in the room so you have to stand while eating breakfast.

We have been to Sorrento several times. There are many better places to stay for the same price or less.

Great location in the Centro Storico

The Casa Dominova occupies the ground floor of a block of apartments, located in the Centro Storico area of Sorrento. The premises are not permanently staffed. The owners e mailed me a few days before our date of arrival to ask what time we were arriving. There is a button outside the entrance which dials a phone link, but when we pressed it, we got a recorded message. The helpful restaurant next door kindly dialed one of two alternative phone numbers for us, and we were soon checked in.
The premises are smart and bright. Our room was of a decent size and overlooks the garden. Everything was clean. There is an ensuite toilet and shower. There is a fridge with a small freezer compartment. We were provided with a kettle and tea. Wi Fi works well. The owner is helpful. I thought that it was good value for money.
A continental breakfast is bought to your room. There consists of a croissant, cake, a yoghurt, fruit juice, and tea or coffee.
The fridge is connected by a long lead to the socket under the desk. This leaves just another socket by the door, and another in the bathroom, to operate or charge other devices. More sockets, or at least a multisocket extension, are really required.
The only seat in our room was an awful rickety stool which was hard and uncomfortable. Other rooms appear to have the same furniture. There was a chair in the corridor so I “borrowed” it for our visit.

Small but clean hotel

Because there seems to be one other guest besides us, breakfast menu was very limited compare to other hotels we stayed. ( although she brought the breakfast to our room ) and no staff was around during evening hours. During busy summer season, the service should be better. Nice little hotel in the middle of old town.

Great B&B, Great Value, Great Location - Excellent

Casa Dominova B&B was ideal for our stay in Sorrento and we highly recommend it. It was great Value (a lot cheaper than some places we looked), centrally located – it is right on the narrow streets of Sorrento where all the shops and restaurants are, literally a 3 min walk to the slope leading down to the Port and a 5-10 minute walk to the main train station. The room was big and clean with Air conditioning and even a little kitchen area (although we had two electric rings but no pot/pans to use on them) but the fridge was really handy (under counter not mini fridge), we made rolls for day trips out and brought large bottles of drink to decant into our smaller bottle for travel which was cheaper.
The Breakfast was continental and served in a lovely courtyard - you wouldn't even know you were right in the centre of Sorrento. Breakfast included cereal, croissants, doughnuts, yoghurt, Fruit, Only thing we really missed was Toast. They offered tea and of course Coffee! You could have cappuccino, latte or even a triple espresso! All very nice.

They do not have tea/coffee making facilities in the room so bring a travel kettle if you want that sort of thing.

It is ideally sited to explore Sorrento, Pompeii, Vesuvius and the amafi coast.

Great place to stay in Sorrento.

This was a great place to stay, right in the middle of the action, restaurants and shops all around. People were very friendly. Staff in the hotel were great. We had a little difficulty to gain entry but once we found that owner ran a restaurant down the road and around a couple of corners, then all was fine. I would certainly stay there again!

Great Hotel in the centre of Sorrento

Really great hotel/B&B right in the historical centre of Sorrento. Few minutes walk from everything. Staff really friendly and helpful. Clean, comfortable and spacious room looking out onto a courtyard with lemon trees. Nice breakfast with decent selection served in pleasant courtyard. Overall a superb place to stay!!

Nice hotel in the middle of town

Clean B&B, nice people, great breakfast on porch . Once you are out the door, you are in the middle of action: restaurants, small stores, beautiful view. There is a big garage 5 min away, where you can leave a car for several days for about 24 euros per day.

In the heart of Sorrento

We absolutely loved Casa Dominova. It is in the heart of Sorrento, surrounded by restaurants, shops, and cafes. The room was comfortable and spacious. Our host was extremely helpful, providing us with a map and restaurant suggestions. We were a short walk from the railroad station and most of the sights in Sorrento. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Location, location. location

The location of this hotel cannot be beat. It is right in the middle of all the action, close to restaurants and shops, and a short walk to the beach and views. Breakfast is in a beautiful garden. The only problem was a lack of clean towels, soap, and shampoo. Other than that, the room was clean and the staff friendly.

Great room, owners, and location

My husband and I loved our stay. They emailed us before the trip. The owner is away about an hour for a lunch break, so naturally that was exactly when we arrived. However, they own a lovely restaurant a few blocks away, so my husband walked over there and the husband checked us in. It is a clean, updated, brightly painted little bed and breakfast. Location was just perfect and nearby is the beach and a port that will ferry you to surrounding areas such as Capri (which was not nearly as nice as Sorrento in my opinion). We heard an American family next door complaining about the pillows and room. However this is a beach town. If you are looking for a nicely kept clean, spacious room with friendly and helpful staff, ideal location, then stay here. The price was also great, I would actually rate this closer to 3 star. I would absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to everyone.

Overall good

Great location, but it is noisy all the time. There are restaurants next to it and apartments above, so there was always noise. The room was pretty big, comfortable and clean. However, the attendant was not available in the evening hours. The breakfast was ok, croissants, cheese, yogurt and fruits. Overall the location made it a perfect place for us to stay because it is right next to the lift that goes down to the marina and right in the middle of the touristy area so we could walk around late at night.

Great Hotel with Central Location

This was a great hotel, right near the main area of Sorrento and within walking distance to shopping centers, restaurants, and the port. The hotel was quaint, well maintained, and perfect for our stay. While we did not have any views of the water, we did have a view of the breakfast patio area that had beautiful orange trees, which we loved!

Perfectly placed, clean and welcoming, I'd go back

We loved our stay in Sorrento - and Marianna made us very welcome. Our rooms were always spotlessly clean and towels and sheets were changed regularly. Being in the historic centre of Sorrento added to the holiday - with the sea in easy walking distance, all the shops and restaurants on our doorstep, and our hosts always ready to help with information. The bed was very comfortable - and having a fridge in the room was great. We stocked up at the local supermarket, which gave us a choice not to eat out all the time. The air con worked well too - and the free wi-fi (but we never found an English channel on the TV. Still, who goes to Sorrento to watch TV?). We weren't anticipating a plush hotel - we picked a B and B after all! But the room had everything we needed, it was bright, colourful and comfortable with a lovely garden to look out on and we had a wonderful holiday.

Great location

Staff were friendly and the hotel located in the centre of town. The only drawbacks were that the WIFI never worked from our room and the breakfast was simple, which wasn't a problem in itself but it was when all you wanted was to get a cup of tea. Overall, great location and large clean rooms, perfect for our short stay in Sorrento.

Great Location

Casa Dominova will meet the expectation of most Travellers considering you spend all day everyday exploring the beautiful Amalfi coast region.
The Hotel is clean and well serviced. An extensive Breakfast is served in a serene garden setting. Mostly there is no staff at the residence as it is part of a restaurant enterprise nearby. The staff however can be reached very quickly at that restaurant. If I had one concern it would have to be the walk from the railway station to the hotel over cobblestone rocks. When you have 4 wheel Suitcases which are now common it could present a problem. This is not to diminish the overall experience of this hotel however as it is not their fault. You are located in the centre of Sorrento with all the shops and restaurants within walking distance.

Great Hotel for Sightseeing Sorrento

The hotel is in a great location for walking around the streets of Sorrento. We walked from the train station, and it only took about 10 minutes. They serve a wonderful breakfast in the courtyard, with coffee, pastries, yoghurt and fruit. The staff were really friendly and helpful and we would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Exceptional stay!

We had a delightful two night stay at Casa Dominova. It was our best and most reasonable hotel/B&B stay throughout our 10 days in Italy. The hotel and its staff were very welcoming and friendly. Our room was colorfully decorated, spacious and quiet. Everything, including the air conditioning worked perfectly. The room overlooked a lovely lemon tree garden. We were served a very nice breakfast with great Italian coffee on the patio which was charming. BTW, our first night we decided to eat at the owner's Italian restaurant, da Gigino. It was packed and delicious!
