Wonderful place to stay! The staff made you feel like you were part of the family! We really enjoyed our stay. Our room had a balcony which was a nice feature. There are a set of stairs from the lobby to the second floor where the elevator is, so if you have heavy luggage, be warned, you will need to take your bags up the stairs.

We spent 3 weeks in Italy. The tail end of our trip was a 3 night stay in Sorrento. What made the Hotel Mignon Meublè so wonderful was the staff. Carla and Egidio at the front desk were absolutely amazing. One night we wanted to grab a bottle of wine, some cheese and charcuterie. We wandered down to where breakfast was served (obviously it was evening so no one was there) and we were looking for glasses, plates, etc. Both Carla and Egidio came to our aid bringing out whatever we needed. The patio was a perfect place to enjoy our evening. We had mentioned we were leaving at 7 am heading to Amalfi and Positano but breakfast wasn’t served until 7:30. They told us to come down and grab some items to go. The morning staff was preparing but they stopped to help us get coffees to go and made us some sandwiches to take with us.

They were there to help with transportation if needed or suggestions on restaurants and activities. The Staff was so pleasant and easy to converse with and they treated everyone like locals which we love. The hotel was in the center of town but up a small alley so you never heard loud noises. A very nice, clean and comfortable place, we would definitely recommend the Hotel Mignon Meublè.

This hotel is the perfect place for a Sorrento vacation. The location is hard to beat because you are steps away from all the shopping and restaurant. The port is only a 10 minute walk away and a great jumping point for Capri or other tours. Staff was incredible. They made us feel very welcomed and were able to help with restaurant suggestions and other stuff. I would definitely stay here again.

The location was absolutely perfect, making it easy to explore the area. The hotel itself was impeccably clean, which I greatly appreciated. The breakfast offered was decent, although I encountered a couple of issues that impacted my overall experience.

Firstly, I was charged for a coffee after I missed breakfast, despite it only being 1 euro. While it's a small amount, I felt it was unnecessary and disappointing. Additionally, I was approached with an offer to purchase a ferry ticket to the Amalfi Coast, but the hotel charged an extra 10 euros compared to what I could have paid at the harbor. They collected the 10 euro cash without mentioning that it was non-refundable, which left me feeling uneasy about their transparency.

Overall, while the hotel had many positive aspects, these issues affected my trust in their honesty, which is more important than the money itself. I hope this feedback is helpful.

Amazing hotel!

I had a great stay. The breakfast was fantastic as well as the location. Breakfast is served at 7:30am but they will have food out early for you if you have an early morning excursion. Right next to a lovely restaurant and a supermarket with good prices. The service and condition of the hotel and room was great. They also have an elevator so it is accessible. The location of the hotel is on adjacent street to the Main Street. Only issue was that you only get 1 key.

The staff was lovely. The location is easy for taxi drop offs without too long of a walk to the hotel. My main issue was that there were ants coming inside due to a crack in the wall near the balcony door. This resulted in ants infesting one of my bags. I kept the bag off the ground, but ants crawled up the furniture and entered my bag. I ended up throwing away around $200 worth of clothes because I didn’t want to risk ants getting in my other bag.

Only thing is that we were right next to a street that has a market and every morning we could hear them loading stuff, the noise at 7am when vacation is not fun. But the staff is amazing! The breakfast was delicious! AC was working fine the 6 days we stayed there. Has a small elevator and hot water. A little gem right in the heart of Sorrento!

This hotel was a wonderful place to stay for our first time in Sorrento. It was a quick 10 minute walk from the train station and everything you needed in the city was no more than a 15 minute walk. The breakfast was small but each item was delicious (and fresh, a bakery delivered the pastries that morning and the staff was cooking as we were eating), the staff was so kind and always available to answer questions, and the rooms were so cute! My only complaint was that the walls in the room were thin, we could hear the bustling street and other guests within the hotel. Thankfully, that’s not a big problem for me and my partner, but it’s worth a mention for those who are affected by this. I would definitely stay here again!

This hotel is tucked away in an alley a few steps from Corso Italia and with a supermarket next door the location is convenient. Room was small (which we expected) but very clean and brightly decorated. The breakfast was amazing - eggs, fresh cheeses and meats and delicious pastries. Carla at the front desk was a great hostess. The only down fall is the noise from Corso Italia but the blackout blinds help with the light and the noise.

Great location just off the vibrant Corso Italia where all the shops, restaurants , and fun bars are concentrated. the rooms are very nice and renovated in a blue Mediterranean sea/ Greek isles kind of theme. Comfortable beds, nice furnishings. Balconies overlokking a busy little alley that bustlesw foot traffic from the train station (great people watching from the balc w an aperil spritz). Fantastic service from start to finish. The entire staff were extremely nice and helpful. The breakfast (included) was fatastic! great cappuccino along with a large selection of eggs, meats, cheezes, fresh fruits, cakes, pastries, etc... and the lovely ladies there that see to the breakfast there were just wonderful! bwe dined a few times in the courtyard overlooking a grove of lemon trees next door and another on our balcony. It was a great stay and we will positively be back. Thank you for everything.

Fantastic hotel just slightly tucked away down an alley and just steps away from the main center where there are plenty of gift shops, cafes, gelato shops, bars & restaurants! The hotel decor is colorful & bright. Just a short walk to a dedicated Taxi location. A lovely grocery store right next door. The hotel does require a step up upon entrance & 3 steps to enter the small check in area. The staff are very kind, friendly and helpful with any questions or concerns. Giovanna & Carla - a true asset to this gem of a hotel! To top it off- Teresa bakes some of the pasteries right on the hotel site! Divine!! She also makes a wonderful cup of cappacino - all done with heart, love & a smile! She clearly loves her work! The beds are very comfortable and the room size was adequate with a small but enjoyable balcony . The bed room and bath room lighting was bright and plenty of lighting options. A very clean and tidy hotel property that is one to definitely consider when looking to stay in the heart of old Sorrento!! I would hands down stay here again!!

We loved our stay here at the end of October. Such a pretty property and we had a beautiful bedroom which was also so spotlessly clean. The staff were great and so friendly, particularly Carla on reception who helped with arranging a birthday cake for my son’s 18th! The breakfast is nice too with hot and cold options. Its also so near to everything and literally a minutes walk to the nearest shops, cafes and restaurants. Very handy as there is a supermarket right next door too! We loved our stay in Sorrento and cannot wait to visit again

The room I got was exactly as pictured and so beautiful and clean—plus it had a terrace overlooking the garden and the hills above Sorrento it was a 10 minute walk or less to the key sights, excursion meeting points, and the train station. Absolutely loved our stay here! It’s an amazing area and we walked with our luggage from the train station which wasn’t too bad. There’s so many stores, restaurants and fun places just steps away. The room itself was clean and came with a balcony. The highlight for us was the beautiful kitchen and breakfast area overlooking the lemon trees in the backyard as well as the breakfast itself. I highly recommend going for breakfast because it was fresh, local and delicious (mostly sweet options). We would come stay here again in a heartbeat!

It has a little supermarket right next door and is a 10 minute walk to the train station and a 2 minute walk to the centre of Sorrento. The room was a decent size and had everything you needed. This hotel was in such a great location! It’s also very cute overall. Breakfast was great, felt more quaint than some larger places. I love the garden they have and it peeks into the sprawling restaurant garden next door. The walls were a little thin, I could imagine it could seem a bit loud but I wasn’t too bothered by it. Also the beds were on the firm/stiff side but again, we were wiped from traveling so I barely noticed. AC ran so well, it was the strongest AC I felt the whole trip. The convenience of the location definitely outshines the bit of thin walls for me!

This is the place to be in Sorrento. I am SO glad we chose here! You walk out of the hotel and you're in the heart of Sorrento. Our room was very clean and quiet, and the staff are very friendly with excellent customer service. The bed was very comfortable, AC worked well and we had a great night's sleep every night, even with a busy restaurant nearby. Breakfast was very good on a beautiful outdoor patio. Grocery is in the same building. Will definitely stay here again if ever back in Sorrento!

This hotel has so much potential but falls flat in a lot of areas that created inconveniences for us throughout our stay.

Let’s start with the pros: incredible staff ! Friendliest, most helpful staff- they were there to answer any question, were lovely and welcoming etc. I asked for milk in the evening and they were so happy and accommodating to get it for me. The location is top notch- you are in the centre of everything

Cons: cleanliness is not where it should be- curtains were stained and smelled of dust, poor air conditioning relative to other hotels during our stay- we woke up in the middle of the night from being too hot. It appears the “powerful” air conditioning option is set for a certain time and then shuts down which was super irritating given the heat. Very poor wifi. Breakfast was very sparse with options and frankly low quality. Rooms need renovation with inconveniently placed outlets throughout. Example: if we wanted to make a coffee the only workable outlet was in the bathroom.

Given the price of this hotel, I expected more- but again a lovely staff and great location if those are the primary decision factors !

Superb Sorrento Hotel

The Hotel Mignon is one of the best small hotels we have stayed. A beautiful boutique hotel in the centre of Sorrento’s old town. Excellent location for walking into town and superb shopping and array of super restaurants. The staff at the Mignon are magnificent too. They will help with any request you require. All the rooms are incredibly colour coordinated in blues and white. The bedrooms are spotless with a wonderful power shower.

This hotel was absolutely wonderful in terms of location, cleanliness, comfort, and overall style - really quite beautiful. The only comment I would have is that the breakfast was quite sparse. Many options of pastries if you are a sweet tooth, but for someone like me who likes a savoury breakfast there were not many options - especially since I am allergic to dairy, there were no eggs without dairy. But I know we are in Italy and eggs for breakfast aren't a norm so the fact that they were even an option is great.
Over all experience was really good, I would just like more breakfast choices.

We sat out on the patio having a glass of wine on a Friday night. We were the only people. We could hear the laughs from the restaurant next to the hotel. It's famous for being in a lemon grove. We had a lemon tree in the garden too. It was just perfect as we felt part of the atmosphere but we weren't in the restaurant. It was an absolutely beautiful Italian experience. I’ll start by saying that all the staff from front desk, security, cleaners, and restaurant server, were above excellent. The breakfast was very generous and the server was very caring in providing me with pastries to go as I had early starts each day. The front desk very helpful in making recommendations, lining up car service to Ravello, as well as helping me sort out a credit card issue of my own making. That said, the room I was provided with, while very clean, was very sparse and positioned above / near a restaurant and car park that attracted a young party crowd with mopeds / scooters. The outside noise level was beyond reasonable and I asked to switch rooms several days in a row however each day they said they were fully booked (one room did become available however I was advised I would find it worse). I was very disappointed and did not sleep much while there. It was a shame because the hotel was otherwise well located and the staff were wonderful (I believe it is family owned and operated). I’m not sure if it was the room specific or the hotel overall has a noise issue, however I would not book again at that price point.

This is a nice little property tucked down a relatively quiet street in the heart of Sorrento. The hotel has a nice \"vibe\", being very relaxed and friendly and I immediately felt welcomed at the hotel. Breakfast each morning was lovely and the view from the room was pleasant.

The room was a little tired - marks on walls, bathroom a little outdated - but was clean, tidy and generously large. It was also well-equipped and provisioned.

Overall, a great little hotel in a wonderful location.

We booked and paid for 5 nights at the Mignon Meublè, but my wife suffered a stroke 2 months before out trip so we had to cancel everything. Unfortunately this hotel is brutally serious about their no cancellation policy - there are no exceptions for any reason. We asked if we could pay some sort of a rebooking fee and get a voucher or credit for say 4 nights at a later date (sometime in 2020) but they refused to even do this. They would not do anything. They had our money and if we could not use the rooms on the nights we booked that was our hard luck. So be warned. If you stay here do not book far in advance. Frankly I would stay somewhere else: anywhere else. These people are bankers, not hoteliers.

cute little hotel close to the train station and port of Sorrento! decent breakfast spread, room had a little balcony as well which was a plus! Walls were thin, I could hear everything going on outside my room. Nothing fancy but convenient place to sleep overall.

Perfectly located. Literally steps from main thoroughfare; Via Italia. Rooms were clean and well organized. The staff very helpful; although we did have to wait a few minutes to check in as the attendant had just stepped out.

“Magnificent Hotel Mignon”

Paulo and specially Enza were helpful about every aspect of our trip . We did not have any issues for eleven days that we stayed there . Enza was extra ordinary and assisted us in arranging and booking all of reservations for the events that we attended. This was our third trip to Sorrento and by far this was the best hotel we ever stayed at . Thank you again Enza .
