Overall a great experience at the Palazzo Tasso. This hotel is right in the middle of everything: shops, restaurants, street musicians, gelato... The facility and the room were immaculate. All three ladies at the front desk were really friendly and helpful. The shower was great and the Dyson hairdryer was a nice touch. The bed linens and towels were nice (although there's no pillow-top mattress, but hey, you're in Italy so who cares). They even had an elevator (operating between 8am and 11pm) which was great when you've been out walking all day. The room was larger than most European \"budget-friendly\" hotels I've stayed at, which was a nice surprise.
The only reason(s) we didn't give them five stars is because what's GREAT about their location may be a challenge for some people... There's no easy way to get to the hotel from the train station so there's a five- to ten-minute walk over serious cobblestone, navigating tourist-filled sidewalks to get there (we only had one bag each, but if you have more than that it could be a problem). The street noise at night didn't bother us (see note above about this hotel being in the middle of everything) but it could be problematic for others. We loved the central location of the Palazzo Tasso with a balcony overlooking the main Corso. You could hear the street music throughout the day and it was lively and vibrant. Easy to get to any site in Sorrento and just a few minutes from the Train station. The roads are uneven so even a short walk can be hard on the suitcase wheels.. The front desk staff was SO friendly and they even gave me a small bottle of champagne on my birthday. I treat that wasn't necessary but was super nice. It is a little loud in the room at night b/c of the central location but we didn't mind at all.

A great place to stay in Sorrento. Super close to the center of life in sorrento, and just down the way is delicious pizza spot (Tony and rosys) and some fun bars! The place itself was super cute, and they provided a Dyson hairdryer and the best smelling shampoo and body wash we’ve ever enjoyed (lol!). The hotel managers were super sweet, giving us awesome recommendations and making the process super smooth. Would stay again for sure!!

Prime location in the center of everything. I would definitely stay there again. Breakfast is included in a cafe nearby, full English breakfast worth 15 euros per person.

Some noise was expected due to the location of the hotel on the main road. but a lot of the noises were internal as staff can be heard moving around, cleaning, talking at mornings. Beautiful hotel,well located, very comfortable bed, great shower and hairdryer plus plenty of showergel/soap/shampoo and a fridge with complimentary water. Even a couple of wine glasses provided in case you want to while away the evening on the charming balcony with a fabulous view. The receptionists were professional and helpful. Overall an excellent stay, if a tad pricey, but this is Sorrento!

We had a wonderful at Palazzo Tasso. It is located in the center of the beautiful Sorrento, close to shops and restaurants. The staff is extremely friendly and thoughtful. The rooms have everything you need, with a Illy coffee machine, a dyson hairdryer, ... . This could have been the perfect stay, but unfortunately the bed is really hard to our liking. From the 3rd night on, that became a bit painful. If the beds were as good as all the rest, this would have been beyond amazing. Still very, very good and recommended.

We absolutely loved this place! Elena and Viviana were so kind, attentive, and friendly. We parked at Parcheggio Sorrentino and it was a very short walk away - the staff was pleasant. Elena upgraded us to a deluxe room for my birthday, so it had a balcony looking over the main plaza. Viviana remembered it was my birthday and left Prosecco with a wonderful birthday note in the room while we were at dinner. The room itself was so clean, safe and nicely done. I would definitely stay here again.

Warning the hotel is not reachable by car! I put the address in my google maps GPS and found myself wasting time going around in circles trying to find the place because there is no street leading up to the hotel entrance. The parking is about 10 minutes walking distance away which was a nightmare when you have heavy luggage so you either walk through the streets with your luggage the whole way or try to find the closest street to drop off at the hotel entrance either way you will find yourself traveling with your luggage.

It was in a great location, the balcony was a big bonus so we would watch the activity on the street below and have a place to dry our bathing suits. The staff was super helpful in making tour and taxi arrangements and if we were gone before breakfast was served they would provide a generous bag of food the night before.
