This hotel is located in a quiet and peaceful area, surrounded by orange trees. It offers guests one of the best locations in Sorrento and Marina Grande, overlooking the bay of Naples, just minutes' walk from the city centre, beaches, restaurants and bars.

The beach can be found around 200 metres away, as can local public transport links. The bus station and train station are both approximately 10 minutes from the hotel on foot.

In a quiet and peaceful area, this hotel offers a panoramic restaurant (open for breakfast only), a bar and a garden. The experienced and professional staff will gladly supply guests with all kinds of tourist information.

Renovated in 2011, it is air-conditioned and welcomes guests at the 24-hour reception in its lobby. A hotel safe is provided, as are currency exchange facilities, a cloakroom and lift access.

Guests can relax in the games room and TV lounge, and can stay connected thanks to the wireless Internet access provided. For a fee they can take advantage of the room and laundry services, and leave their vehicles at the car park or garage.

The room was stunning! The staff was friendly! The lobby was great, and we were pleasantly surprised with the lobby bar. But, the real element of this hotel that stood out? The 4th floor restaurant!!! 360 views, excellent breakfast, pizza was DELICIOUS! Orlando, the server, was incredible! He took such great care of us the entire time.
If Sorrento city center didn’t have so much to offer, I could have stayed at that restaurant all day long!
Bravo, Regina, bravo!!! We will be back! Forget 5 stars, you deserve 100 golden stars!!

While staying there, there was a terrible ant problem. At first I noticed a bunch in the bathroom, but then I woke up to ants all over the nighttable and the extra sofa bed in our room.
When I reported it, they said they'd send someone up. A man came in and spray stuff all over. No one followed up to apologize... It was disappointing.

Our stay at the Regina Hotel in Sorrento was absolutely amazing! The room was breathtaking — we were upgraded to one with two balconies and the most incredible view of Mount Vesuvius. The staff was wonderful, friendly, and very responsive, making our stay even more enjoyable.

Breakfast and meals on the rooftop terrace were fantastic — delicious food paired with panoramic views you’ll never forget.

The location couldn’t be better — everything in Sorrento is within walking distance, yet the hotel feels peaceful and relaxing.

Overall, it was an awesome experience and we would highly recommend the Regina Hotel to anyone visiting Sorrento.

I recently stayed at this beautiful property and was very impressed. The staff members were super nice and helpful and my room was spacious and clean. Breakfast provided a gorgeous view overlooking the sea and a nice selection of many different foods. Make sure to check out the rooftop bar at sunset. I would definitely recommend this property.

A dream come true.

I arrived late at night, on the bus from Napoli. I had no idea what to expect and even at 2300, the town was lively with tourists. I found the Hotel Regina quite easily, it wasn’t a long walk from the train station. And I felt safe the entire time.
My room was cozy with all the amenities that I needed. I was grateful for the air conditioning.
The breakfast buffet each morning was delicious. I still think about the coffee that I enjoyed there. (I’m writing this in August).
I had the pool to myself on several occasions. Close to shops, restaurants and beaches. I cannot wait to go back.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The night audit, Joseph was awesome.
I needed to do laundry mid way through my trip and the turnaround time was quite quick. I was grateful, since I packed light.
I look forward to my next trip in Sorrento and will definitely stay here again.

Excellent hotel in very convenient location in Sorrento. Easy walk to shops, restaurants and Marina Grande. The staff provided excellent service, the breakfast provided in the morning was a tasty buffet on the 4th floor with an amazing view of Mt Vesuvius and the sea. The AC worked very well thank goodness because it was very hot outside during our stay. We were there four nights and very pleased with our choice. They also arranged airport pickup for us from Naples which went smoothly. The hotel has an elevator.

Enjoyed our 4 night stay. Hotel clean. Relaxing. Staff very nice, rooftop bar amazing. Only little niggle was the steos to get into pool very slippery, you have to be very careful. Perhaps a non slip step would be safer for all. Also the handles were burning hot 🔥 it was difficult to get out so not sure what can be done. But if was scary getting in and out! But would recommend this hotel

I have just completed a stay here and I have to say the Hotel is in a fabulous location enroute to Marina Grande it has a beautiful breakfast terrace with stunning views of Vesuvius and the bay a gorgeous rooftop bar to watch the sunsets and a peaceful and relaxed pool for bathing and sunbathing I would love to recommend this hotel but sadly for 5 of our 7 days there the incredibly loud live music screaming and shouting on the microphone until 11.45pm and sometimes in the afternoon from the wedding venue hotel right opposite completely ruined the whole experience Without this it would have been a strong recommend but sadly this was just awful I for one would never have paid this amount of money to be subject to this level of noise more Benidorm than Sorrento sadly and that is why I cannot recommend this hotel its such a shame so if booking this please beware weddings take place almost everyday here and that includes the music.

Premium hotel and STAFF!! BRAVO!!

The staff and the room were beyond our expectations ... The friendly and VERY attentive wait staff and housekeeping deserve the highest ranking possible. The only two downsides were we were directly below the breakfast area and the floors are a hard marble, so when ANY chair or ? was moved we heard it right thru the floor!! FELT cushions on the chair legs would have been an immense help to quiet the noise transfered to our room. The only other downside was they gave us two twin beds pushed together, and the bed closest to the door had obviously been very well used, and had a noticeable slump in the middle .. causing my back to really hurt after three nights .. I had to switch beds with my wife, and the bed near the window was much better!
OVERALL though, this hotel and their view of the ocean was beyond our expectations .. Our best hotel yet in our 5 week tour of Italy! BRAVO!!!

Good location, adequate breakfast, polite and helpful staff. Waiters at breakfast may get a bit flustered if there’s more than a few families present simultaneously, so please bear with them and they would happily replenish your coffee for a much warmer one !
Please remember to bring your own coffee sachets and face/body cream as it’s not provided. Milk provided for tea on charge.
Comfortable and clean room.
Please do not expect a good shower, it’s a mere trickle and of a poor standard.
Sea view from the balcony is great.
Overall, I’d stay again unless I find another local four star with a better shower !

We liked this property a lot, the setting was great and the people were great (except one cranky guy in the restaurant but the maitre d made up for it by being wonderful and so friendly). The only thing they really need is in room coffee. The coffee in the restaurant is not good but it wouldn't matter at all if you could do Nespresso or something in the room. The front desk was super helpful and the cleaning staff was great.

We did not know we could drive through the “restricted zone” to get to the hotel without a penalty. We had to find out at check-in. They should have let us know. If you purchase a bottle of wine, they do not allow you to drink it on their property. The roof-top restaurant is affordable and has a great view, but the steak is not edible. The fish was very good. The hotel is okay, but next time I’d search for something better.

We had a 20-day southern Italy and southern Spain trip. This hotel was originally the one I’m most excited about, but it turned out to be the worst one.
The soundproofing is non existent in this hotel. I can hear a person talk, cough and snore so loudly, and even when he pees, it’s as if he’s peeing in front of you.
As of the staff, the girl is nice, there’s another guy although didn’t have a chance to speak with him looks nice. But the guy who helped us checked in and out, the one with light eye color, definitely hates his job and doesn’t care about the guests in the hotel at all. Whatever you say to him, he seems numb.
As for the highlight, the rooftop breakfast, in the winter we can’t go to the top terrace. And although the dessert is good, the other food is almost inedible.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Regina. The location was magical and it was well-worth booking a sea view room to look out at Vesuvius across the beautiful Gulf of Naples. Our room was very comfortable, bed and linens were great. The included breakfast had lots of quality options. I loved all the tasty vegetable dishes, lovely cakes, bacon, fresh squeezed butter orange juice. You could also order omelets, fried eggs, pancakes, or crepes cooked to order. Best of all was watching the bay come alive in the morning from the fourth floor breakfast room.

Loved this hotel. We had a great view of the ocean and it was easy walking to all shops and dining. We even made time to take a ferry to the island of Capri. That is a must do to see the Blue Grotto. The rooms were clean and very spacious. This hotel had a great roof top balcony to relax and have a glass of wine.

We were lucky - a small wedding reception else happening during our arrival so once we got to our corner room with double balcony, we were able to open the balcony doors, let the sea breeze flow through and enjoy the live music. Wonderful rooftop bar. Super easy to walk a couple of blocks back towards town to enjoy the Sorrento charm and everything lemons. About three blocks from the lift that takes you down to the sea level beaches and ferry - which is very convenient - we decided to cancel our vehicle transfer to Positano and grab the ferry. Staff was excellent!

The property is nice the staff very friendly. The breakfast was good. Dinner was ok only ate there once for dinner.

Location work good for us walking distance to everything we want to see or do.

The noise from outside was a bit loud by we would stay again.

You won’t be disappointed.

Location and room was perfect, clean and tidy throughout our 3 day stay. The setting for breakfast was truly amazing, seating outside with the glorious views across the sea towards mount Vesuvius was breathtaking.
Only 1 complaint is really aimed at Expedia. Point 1) NO gym facility, which was clearly shown in the photos. When i approached the reception i was told that there has not been a gym for 3/4 years. I showed the receptionist the photo and said while in my gymwear, that one of reasons why i booked was because the gym! Within 5 mins the photo was taken down from the website.
Point 2) Expedia website doesnt provide any facility to complain about any problems. This has made me doubt any future bookings with Expedia. I will wait to see if Expedia respond to my concerns.
