We had a very good stay here. The hotel is well updated and had good service. There is a decent breakfast buffet in the restaurant with a great view. We didn’t get to use the rooftop pool as it was too cold when we were there but it looked very nice. Everything in Sorrento is within walking distance.

The hotel was great. It had all the amenities and it was super clean! The view from the rooftop pool and restaurant was great! The only tiny issue is that there is no bathroom fan. Great place to stay in Sorrento. 2 min walk to all restaurants and shops in the old town centre. Its a bit far from the ferry port at the bottom of a hill. You will have to take a taxi or bus to get from the ferry port to this hotel. Highly recommend.

Overall hotel was great. Location was excellent, close to everything. We had a family room, which worked with our 16 years old.
Hotel was very clean, staff were very friendly. Included breakfast was excellent. Only negative was some street noise, which may have been more prominent for us as we were on the first floor and facing the street.

Lovey hotel, near everything, and they had a birthday cake waiting in our room for after dinner for my 50th birthday. The room was clean, the air conditioning worked well, the pool was so refreshing after a long day of exploring. The view, it was our favorite out of the 3 hotels we stayed in during our time exploring Italy. Will definitely stay here if we go back!

Excellent hotel, very clean and well maintained. Looks like it has been recently remodeled, so everything felt very fresh/new. Some ongoing construction, but it was very discreet/not bothersome. Only two points of feedback: 1) the restaurant is new and clearly working out some issues. Staff don’t seem familiar with the menu and the quality of the food was average at best. However, with so many great options within walking distance, this shouldn’t be a concern. 2) The pool closed at 7 pm which seems very early. The view up there is spectacular and the pool itself is small but nice, so I wish they would leave it open later.

This is a good hotel within walking distance of the train station, marina, and all the restaurants and shops in Sorrento. The staff is very friendly and helpful with giving directions. Free breakfast is included, and the rooms are air-conditioned. There's an amazing rooftop view. The room was very clean. The only issue was the Wi-Fi would not stay connected, and when it did connect, it was very slow.

This is most definitely a 3 star hotel with 5 star service. The staff were excellent, and Daniele at the front desk was very helpful with travel advice.

The view from the roof terrace is exceptional. We both thoroughly enjoyed her stay here and thought the food was excellent. Breakfast had a fantastic selection of cooked and continental foods. I've read some of the negative reviews around this hotel and do not know what some people are expecting when after all, they've booked to stay in a 3 star hotel.... In our experience, the hotel was excellent and the staff provided a 5 star service. Excellent value for money.

First: The LOCATION!!! Is excellent. But it's expensive.
The hotel/room is clean, but very old style.
Strangely, there is no kleenex in the room. The towels are like a dish towel, but they are strangely effective. You just pass them on you and it attracts water.
The roof spa close very early, so unless you spend you day in the hotel, you can never use it.
There is a grocery right in front that is open until 1am.
Breakfast is good.
So if you can find another one that offer better rooms for the same price, go for the other one. Because this one, you are paying for the location. The room is really ordinary (but clean).

Perfect location for walking the old town of Sorrento. They offer a wonderful breakfast with eggs, bacon, sausages, fresh bread and buns, fruits, cheese and meats, good coffee and juices. There is a roof top lounging area, with a small cool pool to sit in; it has an sea view. The room is small and without a bar fridge, but good AC. There is also a small balcony that you can sit on and watch the locals and tourists walk by. The location is perfect for walking all the streets in the old town and getting to the port. All shopping and eating establishments are very close by; you can shop, eat, and return to your room and start again many times throughout the day. There is a small store right across the street where you can get water, fruit, and wine.

We really enjoyed our trip to Sorrento. Explored Capri and walked the town. Missed the Blue lagoon because of the tides. Gelato was great everywhere! Hotel Tirrenia has great people working there. The desk lady was very informative and I'm sorry to say that I can't find my notes to nudge my brain of her name. Only small nuisance was the traffic noise. When you book ask for a room at the back.

For a 3 star Hotel, our experience was good. Arrived way too early just expecting to drop our bags off to go off to explore and check in later but our room was already available at 11.00. Rear facing and with a partial sea view, the room was satisfactory. The bathroom had a bath and a good powerful shower. WiFi though is OK when connected but it's sometimes difficult to connect and it drops out frequently. Staff friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a good location at the end of the main shopping street. Good choice at breakfast. Very good rooftop terrace with loungers and great views but the rooftop jacuzzi was closed even though all the hotel info said it was open from 1st May. Nice lounge area. Overall, would stay again.

The stay overall was great. Breakfast was good and we also chose to have dinner at the hotel for one night. The dinner was great and it was very good value for money. The location is excellent.

The bed linen/blanket cover could be more comfortable.

The main downside is that it is next to a busy street and the sound proof of windows is not great. If you are not bothered about the noise (like me), this will be a great choice.

You can also take the metro and it stops in Pompeii.
All these places are great and accessible for day trips from Sorrento.

I was looking for the hotel in the center so I could walk to the port and train station, so location was convenient. I think the hotel price is correct however I stayed in orher hotels in Italy with similar price and the standard was slightly higher (cleaner, better breakfast) some refreshment is needed in that hotel for sure. Stuff was nice and pleasant! Overall not a bad experience. Too bad jacuzzi was working only until 7pm. Who comes back to hotel in that beautiful coast before 7, that definitely a big minus to not be able to use a rooftop jacuzzi..

Didn't bother us too much as we loved everything else.
Shower is really small, like 70/70, but functional in the end, some sockets next to the bed and night lamps with stronger light (easy to fix) would be good to have. We were missing a fridge in the room but we could get ice bags from the bar and the rooftop bar itself with nice views shouldn't be missed - nice Neapolitan life music on Mondays (wished was more of it).

We loved:
Excellent location, stroll away from Piazza Tasso but away from the crowds -fruit and food store right across, nice restaurant nearby on Corso with great and good priced menu, we were happy to avoid the season crowds in the center.
Beautiful outdoors with sea view, was the selling point for us. Very friendly staff, always with a smile and ready to help.
Room is little small but comfortable, big and comfy bed, we loved the balcony with sea view. Outdoors space is great, nice rooftop terrace with spectacular views, also the ground floor terrace where we found a shadowed garden spot to have our coffee in the morning (plants are magnificent everywhere on the Amalfi coast), nice sundeck too, but we didn't use. Great breakfast buffet, everything you may wish and impressively well managed - exceeded expectations.
We much enjoyed our stay at this good priced hotel, good value for the money.
We'll stay again, definitely recommend.

Fair hotel with lovely view of the ocean. Unfortunately the hotel is very noisy with street noise and sirens as it’s location is next to the local hospital. Breakfast has a wide selection of food, chairs are very soft and everyone thinks they are good to fall through when they sit down. Located at the top end of town so close to all the local shops and restaurants, a long walk from the ferry port.

Location of hotel was good. Room was dissapointing. There was mold on the ceiling and in the bathroom. Our non-smoking room smelled like smoke. There was hair stuck all around the drain of the tub and the safe was broken. Staff was very helpful with directions. We did not complain about room as it was just for one night. Jacuzzi was closed by 8pm when we arrived which was dissapointing as that was one reason we chose this hotel.

We had one of the most spectacular views from our balcony. The staff was very accommodating. The breakfast was very good and we especially enjoyed having the option of eating outdoor by the pool. Making use of the pool on the hot days was a definite plus. Plenty of parking was very much appreciated.

The staff was incredibly inconsiderate and not helpful. The cleaning crew left bleach on the floor and when our clothes ended up with bleach stains, they did nothing. They didn’t even apologize but instead asked why we had clothes on the floor. Customer service was atrocious. Not at all happy.

The hotel location was good (not far from the train station) and the staff were very courteous and helpful.
The hot and cold breakfast was excellent. The room was ok (a little small, like the showers seem to be in Italy).
I found the bed a bit hard, but that is probably only personal preference. The wifi was a bit hit and miss.
But overall, a great place to stay in Sorrento.

Nice hotel at the end of the main strip on Sorrento. Perfect location away from the noise of the main Street but only 10-15 mins walk to everything in Sorrento including the train/bus station. Front desk staff was helpful and friendly. Room was perfect, didn't spend much time in it, but was fine, clean and well equipped. Breakfast was a bonus, although not of the highest quality, but it was included so can't complain (eggs, beans, pastries, coffee, tea, fruit, sweets, cereal). Overall a very good stay, and one of the cheapest options in town makes it a bonus.

Overall Good Place with Some Minuses

- Room was clean for the most part, but there was some dust under the bed and behind the
furniture. Housekeeping mops the usable parts of the tile floor daily.
- Comfortable queen size bed with firm mattress(actually 2-single beds placed together) with
nice firm pillows for a good night's sleep.
- Good Location - The hotel is at the end of the Corso Italia pedestrian mall, so plenty
of restaurants and shops nearby. A 2/3 mile walk to the train station, or a 15-to-19 Euro
taxi fare depending on which cab you get.
- Fantastic Breakfast is included consisting of excellent quality pastries, fresh cut fruit, ham/salami/cheese cold cuts and hot trays of eggs/bacon/sausage and kidney beans in a delicious red sauce.
- Staff speaks English very well and are helpful and accommodating.
- Nice top floor patio with Jacuzzi and overlooking view of the bay.
- Short downhill walk to the Marina Grande where there is a nice beach with warm, clear water for swimming, and restaurants and bars, but again, an uphill walk on the way back.
- Laundromat directly across the street. 5-Euros for a regular size wash.
- 30-inch HDTV had good picture quality, but only 1 channel in English(Sky News).
- WiFi was horrendous. At least a 1-minute wait for each web page.
- The air conditioner blew ice cold air, but there was no way to control it.

Great views, food, shopping area and close to a bus stop. If you want to take the Sita bus to Positano/ amalfi you have to go to the station first and take the bus there. The Sita bus fills up at the station and did not stop at 90% of the stops.
If you want to go to the port from there you have to walk 10min.

Great location, Comfortable hotel

We had a great stay! The staff was friendly, the hotel was clean, the air conditioner worked well, and we had an incredible view of the Bay of Naples from our balcony! The location was excellent. We were in the main action of the town, and only a 10 minute walk to the Marina Grande. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it!

Great hotel with friendly staff. Full all inclusive breakfast buffet. Super location right at beginning of the pedestrian only walking/ shopping area. Liked this spot a lot 😊

Good hotel in a good location. Only drawback Is the lack of plugs in the room. But then most European hotels suffer from this problem.

Not as expected overall, but good breakfast

The breakfast buffet was the best part! The room itself was cramped, there were big sections of dirty walls in the room, that could easily be helped with fresh paint! And by far the tiniest shower I’ve ever had in my years of living and traveling all over Europe.

Fabulous location, friendly staff. Good breakfast choice.
Rear of hotel is quieter and has sea/Vesuvius views. Nice sunbed space on roof.
We would return next time. Sorrento is beautiful.
