Mela is was so helpful…she directed us to our parking and even helped us up the stairs with our luggage. The hotels in sorrento are tucked away off the main streets but they are so great! Right off the main pedestrian strip and an espresso machine in the lobby! I really loved it here!

Melania was such a lovely host!! Very responsive and helpful, the place is spotless, bedding is comfy, there is an amazing attention to detail in the room, the common area is well thought of, with dishes, cutlery, bottle opener etc. It is very well located and plenty of parking options within walkable distance! I loved my stay there! The coffee is great and again, Melania is a perfect host, a very nice person! I will come back for sure!

Our room was spacious and had all the necessary amenities and more. The hotel is located close to the main square in Sorrento, close to the train station and to the bus stop. There is a number of great restaurants within a short walking distance. The host is very friendly and helpful. If you have a car they have a negotiated fee with a parking very near.

Palazzo Spasiano was a lovely hotel to stay at! It was very clean, comfortable, and had many amenities. Melania was very welcoming and was so helpful our entire stay with any questions that we had, as well as providing information and help with restaurants, transportation, and activities around the city. The hotel was in a convenient location to explore Sorrento. We really enjoyed our stay, and would highly recommend staying at Palazzo Spasiano when you’re in Sorrento!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Palazzo Spasiano! Our room was just as advertised. It was VERY neat and clean. Melania, the host, was awesome! She was there at her desk everyday, eager to help. When we arrived, she met us outside, grabbed a suitcase in each hand and darted up the stairs. She helped us and other guests coordinate trains, dining, shopping, and ferry times. She made us amazing sunset reservations as well. You don’t get this at every property! For breakfast, she has an expresso/cappuccino machine as well as an assortment of fresh croissants waiting for her guests every morning.

The property is only a 5 min walk from the train station and SUPER convenient to dining and shopping on Corso Italia, the main road through town. It’s only a few yards to the taxi stand at Piazza Tasso (although I recommend walking in Sorrento due to taxi prices). The marinas, ferry, and beaches are a 15-20 min walk but not a problem. You will ENJOY strolling around Sorrento. It’s very lively at night and many of the shops are even open until 10:30. Don’t hesitate to walk.

This property met all my expectations and more. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you, Melania for your kindness and hospitality!! :)

We stayed 5 nights at the Palazzo Spasiano in May 2023. The hotel is in a great spot in Sorrento, close to everything. Complimentary snacks and coffee replenished every day. The room was fantastic and our favorite out of three hotels we stayed at around Italy.

The best part was the service provided by Melania, the hostess. She really mad our stay in Sorrento. She arranged a private transfer to Bomerano to start the Path of the Gods hike. And when our ferry from Positano back to Sorrento was cancelled, she arranged a ride back. We also encountered a rail strike on our last day, so she helped with transportation to Naples. Melania also arranged a full day small group tour of Capri which was another highlight of our stay in Sorrento.

I think you'll enjoy the Palazzo Spasiano in Sorrento.

Boutique and very Chic

Perfectly placed at the edge of the centre square, this small boutique hotel is everything you need for a short stay in Sorrento.
Set at the back of a gated courtyard, a few steps to climb to get to the Hotel entrance.
We were given keys to all the gates and doors and went about very freely
We stayed in the Junior suite, which was very clean, lovely decor and good a size.
Mini bar and snacks were refilled daily
Melania and Alessandro are very helpful and are there when you need them, but never in your face and we were left to enjoy our stay, without any fuss.
I would highly recommend this boutique hotel

Convenient Location & Clean

My daughter and I stayed three nights at this accommodation and the host, Melania, was wonderful. This is not a hotel, it is a privately owned small upper floor property with a living room and three rented rooms. The information we received referred to a \"B&B\" so we thought breakfast was included but there was no breakfast. We were busy doing tours and grabbed breakfast at a coffee shop a few doors down every morning. Breakfast was included in all of our other accommodations during the trip so this was somewhat disappointing. This stay was in the middle of our two week tour of Italy and based on the description of \"laundry facilities\" listed we planned to do our laundry. There is no laundry facility but Melania did our laundry for us for 55Euros which was a reasonable price. We would have preferred to do our own and not be without our clothes/pajamas for a night but it was very kind and helpful of her to do this.

There are two steep flights of outdoor stairs to access the apartment so this room is not suitable for those who cannot or do not want to manage many, many steps. Melania met us upon arrival and carried our luggage up the stairs and we carried them down ourselves upon check out.

Overall, for the price we paid during off season this was a very nice and clean accommodation. It was made better by the lovely hostess but I would recommend that they update the listing to be clear about the breakfast, lack of laundry facilities and stairs to access the apartment.

The best in Sorrento

The best! Palazzo Spasiano was clean, inviting and perfectly located in Sorrento. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted. The property is secured with a key-entry iron gate. The staff, Melania and Anna were welcoming and extremely helpful. With only three suites, the ambiance was homey and comfortable. Lots of stairs to get to the rooms but well worth it.

If I could give Melania x10 5 star reviews I would. She is so lovely, everything was in excellent condition, she was so accommodating and went out of her way for my stay. She organised airport transfers for me, gave me recommendations on where to eat and where to go to the beach. She went over and above to make my stay welcoming to the point I cancelled my flight and accommodation in my next destination, so I could stay another night there! This was equivalent to a 5 star hotel - the property and the service. Location is perfect! You’re footsteps away from everything. I can’t recommend this property enough and I am so glad I stayed here for my first time in Italy - a stay I will never forget thanks to Melania. I would recommend her and the property for a personalised and unique experience in Sorrento - one you would never get at a hotel.

Room was immaculate clean, spacious and only a short 5-10 minute walk to everything you need in Sorrento (i.e. Train, bus, ferry boat, restaurants and entertainment).

Melania is a fantastic and caring host that makes everything to make your stay perfect. Great suggestions on places to visit and even organized in advance our transfer from Naples to Sorrento.

In all, a great place to stay and have as base if you are traveling the amalfi coast.

I stayed for 3 nights at this B&B
The host is very kind and give me a lot of information about my trip plan around Amalfi coast, Capri island and Pompeii and so on. Especially she gave me a precious advice of tracking the path of the God.

This B&B room has a high ceiling and is very clean, cozy and lovely decorated. Bedding settings are excellent. If you plan to travel around Amalif coast, Pompeii and Capri, this B&B is the best place for your trip schedule. These attractions are within 1 hour by bus, train or ferry.

You can arrive at this B&B via Curreri Bus from Naples Airport in 1 hour, and you can go to Sorrento station, Sita bus terminal, ferry terminal within 10 minutes by walk from this B&B.

Also Romeo is a big pleasant for me during my trip.

Before I arrive at Sorrento, I have no plan without booking this B&B, however the host Melania and her dog Remeo organize my trip plan and dining reservation and so on.

If you plan to travel to Sorrento, Amalfi coast, Pompeii and Capri, the only thing to do in advance is to make a reservation to this B&B.

A quaint mini-boutique hotel tucked in behind the Main Street in Sorrento. Close to everything! e.g. the Supermarket is a few steps away. Yet, the location is very quiet! Everything in this hotel is beautifully designed and brand new! If you are ok staying in a property without an ocean view (you will pay more than double for that ). This is a great alternative! We loved it! 😃

Melania was a most gracious and wonderful host.

The accommodations were marvelous with a great view of the street from our balcony. The bed was extremely comfortable. The bedroom was well appointed and decorated. The bathroom was splendid and very clean.

They even included a cell phone!

The location is very close to the train station, restaurants and shopping. Melania even arranged for private tours for us.

I would, without any hesitancy, recommend this property to anyone visiting Sorrento!

Unmatched hospitality!

Melania, the owner makes this place AMAZING. Her hospitality is unmatched. That is truly what makes the stay. The location is fantastic. Only 1 block from the main square in Sorrento. The property is kept immaculately clean.

The difficulties are that there is no elevator, and there are 2 large flights of steps to get into the property. Although there is not someone at the front desk that often, Melania gives her number so you can message her at any time with whatever you need. We checked in late (10pm) and she was there with a happy smile to greet us and show us our accommodations in great detail. One more note is that the bed is not comfortable. However, I found this to be the case in every hotel we stayed in during our time in Italy. Even the 4-5 star hotels. So I'd concluded that this is just how Italy is perhaps? Maybe Italians like a really firm mattress?

There is no restaurant on property, but she has vouchers you can use at 3 local cafe's for breakfast. Be sure to mention if you have food allergies, because she will go out of her way to accommodate them! We were not aware of this up front, and I mentioned to her once we'd arrived that my friend and I were gluten free. That next morning, she had went to buy us gluten free muffins for breakfast since the cafe's do not have GF options. Simply amazing service!

I would stay here again for sure!

This B & B is new on the listing with contemporary decoration that makes it very cozy like home. Location is on the main street close to Piazza Tasdo and the train station.
