Great amenities, activities and location. Kids loved the pool and playground.
Rooms are comfortable but just a bit dated and the couch in our living room was a bit sunken in the middle. Otherwise a really great spot for what we needed.

We have been staying in Mercure Kooindah Waters for about 5-6 times now. We always chose this place when we visit Central Coast. The 3-bdrm apartment we stayed this time was poorly cleaned. There were sand and dirt on the bed under the blanket. The bathroom smells like someone used it before we entered. Quite a terrible experience this time.

We were really looking forward to a relaxing weekend away, but unfortunately our stay at Mercure Kooindah Waters fell well below expectations.

The room was not up to scratch. The lounges were uncomfortable, the TV kept switching on by itself during the night, and the overall setup wasn’t very child-friendly. It would have been appreciated.

Across both nights of our stay, the hotel was hosting school formal events, which guests were not informed about prior to arrival. This oversight resulted in us having to navigate groups of intoxicated teenagers, and my partner felt extremely uncomfortable using shared facilities while groups of loud, intoxicated young women were present and behaving rudely.

The dining experience was also below expectations. The lamb dish was overcooked and lacked flavour, the prawns were similarly overdone, and the overall standard of the meals did not align with the price point. In contrast, the cocktails were exceptional and were arguably the highlight of our visit.

Overall, our stay was marked by multiple disappointments, from room quality and incorrect allocation to a lack of communication regarding large events on-site. Had it been possible, I would have requested a refund, as the experience did not reflect the quality promoted by the hotel.

Breakfast staff needs improvement big time I had to wait 15mins to even pay to get buffet breakfast I then asked the 1 waiter how long for hash browns and butter she said to me it’s coming just wait, then when the food and butter was topped up she didn’t even give me a heads, I also had to go to the bar myself to order coffees the food was all cold and bacon was hard eggs was slimy looked disgusting best thing there was the hash browns and toast, my last stay food was good but it seems the staff have gone worse
The best staff they did have was the man a woman who brought our room service and if there was an option to give them a tip on card I would have

Had an excellent stay and were sad to leave. Loved the space ,perfect for a family of 4. The master bedroom in particular was amazing ,so much space and a huge balcony opening out onto the water within the golf club. Was serene and we loved our peaceful breakfasts every day. Everything we needed in the room and more,well furnished. The facilities were excellent and we made full use of the pool,gym,tennis and sauna which felt like a bonus. Staff were always welcoming and helpful whenever we needed to use reception. Easy parking and plenty of room. Would defo stay here again when next in Wyong for sports carnivals

Very pleasant stay

Very pleasant stay. Standard Room was spacious and had a balcony. Decent sized bathroom. The gym was equipped with enough machines and weights to do a basic work out. Great customer service from the staff and were able to extend my check out time which was great.

Property was lovely large apartment, is getting a little old and tired and paint peeling outside on veranda area, pool facility is fabulous as is onsite restaurant. The fold out bed the provide is a proper single with proper big mattress so fine for an adult. We were there when a conference was on and unfortunately they were very loud outside your room and in corridor’s all night . Being a golf resort if your in ground level near gold shop and restaurant you get woken up from 5.30 on with people talking heading to golf. Overall really nice place to stay and if conference was not there would have been very quiet. The bird life you see is wonderful

OK resort. Bedroom and lounge area is fine, however bathroom shower with curtains terrible. Water flows near toilet area situated next to it. Buffet breakfast was pretty average and without too much variety especially when you are paying $33 per person. Shocked at how dry the scrambled eggs were. I'd say these were the worst scrambled egg's i have had. Fruit options minimal & small area. Only had apple juice. Coffee was ok. Asked staff whether they had more serviette's. Didnt come back so went to the bar and asked, then got it myself.

Baby on another table next to us left a real mess on the floor, Fruit pieces and crumbs everywhere. You would think staff would clean it up when they saw it, however it was left and other people walked over the fruit to get to their tables. Not good.

Hotel is spacious with good facilities. Just lacks focus on some areas which are important for guests.

The property suited our purposes and was clean. However there was a general musty odour, possibly due to water damage, the bed was uncomfortable, and we were woken early due to noise on the golf course. Staff were friendly and it was close to the venue we were visiting, but we wouldn’t rush back.

A quick one night golf trip and everything worked well. Comfortable 2 bedroom apartment, did self catering for dinner and breakfast. Only issues were limited TV channels- but could use own subscriptions to cast - and nowhere apart from inside to put muddy golf bags.

Overall I think it’s a nice hotel, the rooms could do with an update as I’m not sure they’re worth the price point but it wasn’t a bad experience.
Something to note is being at a golf course, there are regular announcements over the loud speaker which wasn’t ideal at 7am but earplugs helped that.

We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment which was well appointed and clean. It had everything you could wish for in a self-contained apartment. We did feel that the main door leading to the groups of apartments should have been secure in some way though.
Our only real complaint about our stay was the breakfast. Options were limited and there clearly wasn't enough staff to manage things. Examples were no water in the coffee machine, no plates for the hot breakfasts, no coffee mugs, no replenishing of food items up to an hour before closing time (eg. toast!) and a lack of cutlery at times also.

We were placed into a room on the top floor that was not ventilated at all and therefore was stifling to say the least. I had to ask for them to do something about the air conditioner that was not working. They did place us into a lower floor but it was frustrating to have to ask. We booked dinner at the restaurant through front desk only to have to stand and wait while the staff member tried to work out why we were not booked in and couldn’t provide us with a table. After about 10 minutes she did find us a table but it was unprofessional and unorganised of them to confirm they had booked it but then be told it wasn’t. We were then told we couldn’t have the room for the entire stay and that we would need to move last night so when we packed everything into the car to move rooms we were told last minute at the front desk that we didn’t need to move and that someone should have called us. No one called us or communicated! Either way we won’t be staying at this one again.

Overall, most things were very good. A good asset is your staff who were unfailingly helpful, friendly, courteous and welcoming.
We enjoyed our room which was spacious, clean and modern. We opted for the 'eco' choice and passed on a refresh of towels during our two night stay. Best to have more towel-rails available if you're encouraging this option. And perhaps some new towels and one of the two was rather threadbare.
We had two breakfasts and one dinner during our stay. The breakfasts were a 'treat' with every possible option on offer and the hot breakfast choices were varied daily - well done! We had one dinner in the dining room and this was a treat too. Danielle made us very welcome and was helpful with the menu and professionally attentive. We loved the broad range of menu options, quality and quantity of our meals and the presentation. Again, well done.
On both evenings we opted for a stroll in the streets adjoining the property and this was peaceful and easy. We were a bit disappointed that we (not golfers) were not permitted access to the course pathways as we would have loved to explore more of your beautiful landscaping.

Overall, a relaxing and very enjoyable stay! Thanks.

Very nice 1 bedroom villa in beautiful surroundings of a golf course. Well equipped and furnished except the washing machine was unusual and the shower was over the bath. Lovely bar and dining facilities, pool and tennis courts but we did not use them during our two night stay. Easy access to shopping and cafes of Wyong

We did not like that the shower was over a bathtub. I had to assist my elderly family member in and out of the shower due to high tub walls. One of our bath towels was so thin it was see through. The rooms were advertised as joined but they were two separate rooms with a common hallway.

The area itself is quite picturesque and lovely. My room wasn’t very tidy upon arrival and I needed to get housecleaning to give things a quick clean after finding some pubic hair in the bath area. They were on to it quickly. I went for a snack and they were out of ingredients for a few meals and cocktails. I then waited for a while and the person who took my drink order went home for the evening and didn’t end up placing it though. This was fixed up along with my food once I followed it up after a big wait.
Breakfast was nice and the staff at the counter were friendly.

We had a lovely one night stay at this property and were treated like royalty the whole way. Although the two bedroom units are a little dated all the furnishings were still in pretty good condition however a bit of a re-paint and re-carpet wouldn’t hurt. The food was lovely, room service was prompt and it was really nice to see a return to buffet breakfasts.

The area is lovely, the outdoor pool was also nice. A little disappointed with the apartment. The shower head was broken, the balcony could use some cleaning and the dishes and cutlery were still wet and in the dishwasher.

The breakfast and the restaurant staff were lovely though and really enjoyed the breakfast experience.

My husband and I absolutely loved our time at this Mecure hotel. Nothing to fault there. If you are a golfer, they have a beautiful course or if you need some pampering, there is a spa on site. Highly recommend.

For the cost of the 1 bedroom apartment I was disappointed. The accommodation was quite run down.

1. Door knobs nearly falling off
2. Smelt very damp, even when we aired out the room and used spray
3. Pillows and bed were extreamly hard
4. The lounge chairs had stains on them
5. coffee / tea was in a zip lock bag
6. Generally all furniture was just dated.

We were looking for a nice place to stay for my birthday, and this place just didnt hit the mark for the cost .

Excellent facilities with good sized gym and lap pool. Spacious room and quiet location. Friendly,professional staff.
Only issue we had was the quality of the room service meal. Advised it would quicker to get room service than wait for a table in the restaurant, I ordered at about 7.30pm and the meals came at 8.20pm. They were supposed to be hot, but obviously had been left standing for some time before they were delivered. Just warm at best.

It’s pretty disappointing to travel up from Sydney for the wknd and pay $299 a night for a room that has a shower in a bath tub.
You need to find your way through dark car parks to your room.
Because of a wedding they couldn’t Serve food at the bar but the restaurant was sold out although you could order room service... just weird.
I didn’t see any value for the price that we paid.

Reserved late and got last room standing. Large room, clean and conveniently located. Room appeared to be a transition state from or going to wheelchair accessible and quiet adequate shower flooded the bathroom. No shelving in bathroom for toiletries.

Curtains in our room were mouldy, discovered just before we went to bed. I shifted the sheer curtains to discover the main curtains were heavily mouldy. Due to moving the curtains the mould smell was strong, struggled to sleep through the smell, woke with sore throat. Then noticed mould around base of toilet next morning. Reception smiled and said thanks for letting them know. They would have been aware that some sort of flooding had occurred in this block of rooms. Disappointing for an expensive hotel. I emailed management, no response. Hence my review.
