An excellent stay for a short getaway from BKK. We went during a long Mother’s Day weekend so the place was a bit packed at first. After Sunday/Monday, we pretty much had the entire resort to ourselves. This property is meticulously well manicured. Great dining options on premise. I highly recommend Casa Mare which is their most high end restaurant right by the water. If you are traveling without a car then you need to use grab/bolt which can be tricky as Cha Am is more remote and low key. It’s our first time in Cha Am as we usually stay in Hua Hin and BKK.
There is also a strip of small bars and local restaurants about 5-10 minutes away…and of course a 7-11!
There are 2 hotel pools; one for adults and one for kids. The water seems a bit mucky and wasn’t as clear so I never used it. Other than that, it’s a beautifully large resort and would definitely return.

Great place to relax and make memories

The Regent Cha-am Beach resort was a very comfortable stay in January 2025. We booked to stay for a wedding held in the grounds. The staff were very helpful and arranged cars, helped us book a fabulous cooking class and were happy to help with everything. The interior is a little tired and sadly the spa was not open. The wedding ceremony area and reception was well prepared by the staff and everything looked fabulous. Over our 5 night stay, the food was very good and our experience overall was great.

Great if you like a Cold shower!

The walkways needed to be high pressure wash too many spilled drinks and dirt! The swimming pool water was dirty! No Hot water in our shower! We were put so far away at the back of the building! The front desk staff were nice! The bathroom needs to be remodeled very bad old fixed 100 times look. The Owner is not spend a single Bhat on making the place nice!

It can only get better with improved service

The property has fantastic resources but the staff was not well trained and the hotel did not honor their posted promotions. Most facilities were closed including gym, tennis, and kids zone. Peppina was good for food but the hotel restaurant was disappointing.

It is a quiet hotel with a good swimming pool.It is very close,within a few minutes walk to the local village which has numerous restaurants at reasonable prices and good quality.The hotel rooms are a bit tired and as frequent returners we were disappointed to have to ask for bath robes and slippers which are usually provided! The hotel restaurant is expensive and the breakfast overpriced.Its interesting that if you dont pre book breakfast,you are offerred it at half the price when you arrive and tell them its expensive!Perhaps Expedia should negotiate direct with the hotel for a better price beforehand.Customers bewarned..every weekend hoardes of Thai,Japanese or Chinese descend on the hotel for conferences and parties.These are loud affairs but do usually end at 11pm!

Booked a room in the Regency Wing. Facilities are not available at the Regency Wing as there is renovation work ongoing, 8am to 8pm at night, seven days a week. Noise was intrusive an unbearable at times. There was no warning about the building work either here or on hotel website prior to booking.
Likely that renovations could be ongoing for most of 2020.

The pool would benefit from a good clean, there is algae growing in the shallow pool. Food was lovely! The hotel location is fairly remote so a taxi Is required to venture out but these are easy to come by ! Very pleasant stay

It was OK. I slept well. I wasn’t crazy about the atmosphere or about Cha-am in general. There seems to be a taxi mafia there. Every time you need a taxi you get hit with a 300 to 500 baht charge. There are no meters. It got on my nerves.

We had a great time at the Regent. The Pool is great for kids. The boys swam all day. Location lovely and very relaxing. Room was nice and clean. Breakfast a very nice variety of different flavours and international cuisines. Overall we really enjoyed our time.

Overall the hotel is located next to the beech, near enough to walk outside of the compound for dinner at the local Thai restaurants. The room was great, except the toiletries provided were of low quality, I had to buy my own shampoo and hair conditioner after a few days.

I stayed here with my family on the new year’s eve. Everything was nice except that the tables for breakfast were not enough for guests. With hundreds of rooms and guests, the restaurants are quite small. I felt bad for people who need to wait for the tables :(

We had a villa. It was ok for what we paid. The staff were great-friendly and helpful. Our room and the breakfast were average. Important to remember that it’s Thailand and the standards there can’t be compared to a 5 star resort in Sydney. The beach is pretty unusable but the pools were nice. An older demographic were the majority at the resort so don’t go expecting party central. It’s not Phuket.

The hotel was very comfortable and had guests from a wide range of nationalities. Located in a quiet area but within a short walk there were small restaurants and bars. The livelier areas of Cha am and Hua Hin require a taxi. Hua Hin night market well worth a trip.

Good location. Staff are nice, professional services, they understand inquiries and response quickly. The pool, the garden, restaurant and other rest area are clean and well maintenance.
Massages beside the beach is really good. Thank to reopen Sala Thai. Anyway allow me to feedback for improvement. There are some items require to install and take care of, e.g. the blinders (in case of oil massage), the fan (sometimes no wind), the rain slash protection and last but important is fixing the ceiling is require na kha, there's lot of dust falling when rain and windy.
Overall rate is 95% or more kha and I will be back definitely.

Excellent Resort Hotel Great Location, Quiet.

We stayed 1 week in a ocean front Anavana Villa it was excellent. Short walk to the small town at the resort where you can drop laundry very inexpensively, daily van's to Cha Am if your so inclined but really the resort and small town offer it all with many restaurants, bars, etc.. Next to the resort on the beach is a great open air seafood restaurant/bar with excellent food. I will definitely stay here again the staff bent over backwards to make our stay a memorable event. This resort is large and you can actually get lost walking around, it's totally safe, beautiful, and lovely surroundings on the ocean front.

Booked Emiates flying to BKK with 3 nights at Regent Cha Am. Really unbeatable rate for this hotel after searching through all agents. Room rate came out at HK$300 after deducting the ticket price. Room rate does not include breakfast which is understood at this price. We paid 400B for breakfast per head at the time of check-in noting that the restaurant is the finalist of a competition. No regret for the variety and taste of food available in the breakfast. Unfortunately, we had to pay 600B++ when we want to take the breakfast the other morning. We had given up breakfast at hotel and go somewhere else like small restaurants outside Novotel Hotel or PTT gas station with small restaurants, at 1.7km north along Route 4 from the junction you turn east to the hotel. I stayed at this hotel 6 years ago. Good experience like breakfast, swimming pool, beachside and spacious room makes me come back with 2 other families. We requested connecting rooms. It turned out 3 rooms interconnecting with each others makes us feel very excited and convenient without going out of the rooms.

Given that there was reconstruction of main swimming pool, which we knew of in advance, the resort was impressive. Huge tracts of grounds with gardens, lake, long beachfront and 3 other pools to partake of in the attached Regent properties. Beach pony rides for the kids and several good - and reasonably priced- restaurants, both within the resort and in the neighbourhood. Regent runs its own hospitality school, so service was there to match. Kids club was actie and allowed us, as parents to partake of the excellent - and again reasonably priced - spa facilities.Definitely returning to this haven of relaxation. Take the villas - well worth the additional pricing.The numerous frangipani trees make it a fragrant mini - paradise.

Some places say \"close to the beach\" but are surrounded by shops, requiring a taxi to get to the actual beach. Not this place! From the lobby to the ocean is about 150 metres, with most of that holding the main swimming pool.
There are facilities for conferences, or just lie back. Get a massage if you like.
Instead of arguing over mini-bar prices, there is a mini-mart [great idea].
Trips to nearby Hua Hin let you buy souvenirs or other goodies, and they have a range of optional activities.

I wondered why they had several cats wandering around - then I saw one catch a green snake. Keep the cats!

The [free] shampoo bottles we quite hard to open. I have arthritis in my fingers, and wet hands make things worse. Bring your own container, or buy from the mini-mart, and transfer contents before trying to open a bottle in the shower.

A large open hotel with lovely grounds but empty.

We have stayed here twice. It's very quiet in August and not all the facilities are available then. The two huge pools are great. The grounds are great. We would have liked more facilities and greater choice of restaurants. The Regency wing is where we stayed.
We booked two junior suites but got two Regency rooms which were pool facing and smaller.
There were lots of large groups for corporate meetings during August and little for families to do.
We asked at reception and they did organise two craft sessions eventually for about an hour.

Still a good getaway

The hotel's been around a long time, and although some of the structure shows its age, the sea-view room we had was modern, clean and comfortable. The grounds are well maintained and the mature trees and landscaping are uncommon in many modern hotels. The bathroom was a design common in newer hotels without a bathtub, but this was not a problem for anyone in our family. The beach was a disappointment as it had washed into the Gulf of Thailand in a recent storm, but there appears to be some renovation underway. Low rates, but no breakfast included, which is unusual for these types of resort hotels. I'l stay here again.

This was my second visit to this property in 3 years my wifes first visit
I enjoy the hotel to relax and unwind I like to walk on the beach also
the ladies who do the massage do an excellent job and are more professional
than the ones on the beach although more expensive
We had an up grade to a chalet room which was a bonus thank you
I would like to offer some constructive criticism the hotel needs externally painting although not dire but needs attention this is best done continually and would give a better look to the walls and would freshen the place up

Very nice reception area but reception staff not as helpful as elsewhere. Rooms a little dated with grouting needing redone in shower but cleaners did their best. Very close to lots of restuarants and shops, etc. Nice touch that left minibar empty so you could use fridge for drinks bought elsewhere.

Overall great hotel!

Enjoyed staying at this hotel except a few things:

- Beach had no benches or shade to hide from sun
- Breakfast is not included when booking the hotel. Had to buy it separately upon arrival

One other problem which was, thankfully, resolved to my advantage. When I booked the hotel the confirmation email mentioned \"Free High Speed Internet in the Room\". However, when we checked in they said no free Internet will be available. The only option was to pay for it and it is quite expensive. So, I had to print the confirmation email, show it to them and after that they let me use Internet for free. No apologies were offered.

Also, they did not say or charged us anything about our second kid during check in, even though we only mentioned one kid during booking.

Great hotel, great location! Highly recommend it!

Good for the price

The main problem I had was, when we arrived they said that we had garden view rooms and not sea view, though the description on hotels.com clearly stated sea view. They wanted to charge an extra 30 USD per room to upgrade to sea view. I had to log on to the internet to show them their own hotels.com page where their description stated sea view. They quickly fixed the issue but did not apologize nor offered any complimentary services for the mistake and disagreement.

Fine but a little out of the way

This proved to be a lovely resort on a lovely beach and the service was excellent. It is situated between Hua Hin and Cha-Am so luckily I had a rental car to make it a bit easier to visit town at night for the markets and nightlife. The shops outside and the lakefront section of the hotel were closed and undergoing renovations but this only affected the aesthetics of the place and not the practicalities. The lobby, pools and garden areas are first class and there is a good security staff present for your safety.

Stranden vid hotellet var inget vidare man var tvungen att gå ca 1 km för att komma till strand som hade servering. Själva stranden där var fin och ren. Frukost var bra och trevlig personal. Hotellet är slitet och behov av renovering. Hotellets egna restaurang hade ok kvalitet men klart överpris.

リーズナブルにプールとビーチを楽しむことができました。スタッフもフレンドリーです。

ただ、洗面台の蛇口をひねると赤茶の水がでてきて、かつ、排水がほぼ流れず、澄んだ水を使用できるまでに相当の時間がかかりました。
歯ブラシやスリッパもありません。

Unterkunft und Umgebung sind wunderbar, ausser dem Strand ausserhalb des Hotels, der ungepflegt ist und leider erodiert.
Essen, Wartezeiten und Bedienung sind verbesserungswürdig.
