Great motel for relaxing rooms are good size and spacious very comfortable
As for things to do there is not much the beach well there is no beach just a break wall you have to wait until 530am to walk on the sand
There no beach bar or pool bar and the drinks are expensive for a beer or wine
So if you want to sit by the pool and relax this is the place
If you like other activities than look around at other motels

Excellent hotel with a very French colonial feel. Great staff who can’t do enough. The only bugbear is the location. It’s about 20 mins from Hua Hin or anything really. However the property does offer a free shuttle service 3 times a day.

Delightful stay

A truly delightful place to stay…gorgeous room, amazing staff, delicious breakfast, nothing too much trouble. We stayed for two nights and had dinner in both nights which was delicious. Prices very reasonable. I could and would definitely stay here again. We were travelling so had no need to venture outside the hotel…but there was definitely easy access to Hua Hin or other areas should you wish to venture.

Luxury and Relaxation Style at the Beach

exterior and interior are all beauty of luxury and meditation with a perfect sound of an ocean in a gulf of Thailand. the hotel room is in a very good size with all amenities including a refrigerator, a capsule coffee maker and some snacks to be accommodated all guests to feel like home away at the property.

Our stay at Devasom Hotel in Hua Hin was truly unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the warm and welcoming staff who made us feel right at home. The hotel seamlessly blends modern amenities with old-world charm, creating a unique and enchanting atmosphere.

The brunch served at the hotel was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. We especially loved lounging by the gorgeous reflection pool, soaking in the serene ambiance and breathtaking views. The sight of horses trotting by on the inspiring beach added an extra touch of magic to our stay.

Our room was spacious and beautifully appointed, with a commanding balcony that offered stunning vistas of the surrounding area. Being within driving distance of the famous Hua Hin night market was a definite plus, allowing us to explore the local culture and cuisine with ease.

Located just 2 1/2 hours south of Bangkok, the community surrounding the hotel reminded us of the North Carolina shore, with its laid-back vibe and picturesque scenery. Overall, our experience at Devasom Hotel exceeded all expectations, and we cannot wait to return for another unforgettable getaway!

We had the most amazing stay here. The staff are incredible; attentive, polite and very friendly! The owner took time to make us feel very welcomed and shared her local knowledge with us.

The room was magical and catered for our every need and more! The balcony was so relaxing and our view was incredible. The pool area was fab and the beach was literally a stones throw away.

The complimentary cocktail hour was a lovely touch. We ate most nights in the restaurant and the menu was varied and the food delicious.

We also loved the yoga classes and both teachers were fab!

We couldn’t recommend this hotel highly enough and will definitely stay here on our next visit.

This is a boutique hotel and a beautiful piece of property and quiet and romantic. The restaurant has amazing quality of food, preparation and presentation which is really 5 star except for limited wine selections. Staff were fantastic and very friendly and he full the whole time. Commend the management for special request I made and greatly appreciated their flexibility in helping me out. Also shout out to the restaurant staff for their excellent service.There is a free shuttle to HuaHin which leaves 3 x a day but taxi’ can be found for 150-200 baht. I stayed for 5 nights and the room I stayed in had a gorgeous view of pool and ocean which made for some fantastic sunrises and also one spectacular thunder and lightning show one evening over the Gulf of Thailand. There were free yoga classes 7am on weekends and some evenings. Yoga Instructor Anna was awesome. Only thing I was missed was lack of a gym faculty. Overall I gave this 4.5 stars

The property was very well kept, and clean. The staff member were very pleasant. The environment is very quiet, morning, noon, and night. So after a long day trotting about the city’s main drags, it’s real treat to return back to your suite/villa and just soak in the quiet time! The pools are gorgeous, well maintained. The beach is small, especially at high tide, so well enough for a stroll to neighbouring hotel’s water fronts. Well worth the time/money, and to return time and again!

Devasom is really beyond what we expected. The location is private, the overall layout gives you the exclusive feeling, the interior design itself reminds me of France in the old days - so beautiful and very classy. Room is very clean, the view is spectacular, breakfast is excellent. All in all, I'd love to go back to Devasom and will definitely stay longer every year in Hua Hin, Thank you Devasom for taken good care for my anniversary Wedding date

We live a busy lifestyle and chose Devasom resort after reviewing many websites. It offered a relaxing environment with all the mod cons. It was amazing!
First mention goes to the staff. Super friendly and helpful. The service is first class. Even the owner would personally check on us each day to make sure everything was ok.
Our room was very spacious and well appointed with personal balcony and stunning views. The bar fridge was free (soft drink, juice & food but not alcohol) and restocked each day.
There is a restaurant with amazing food. The breakfast buffet was very generous and we ate more than normal, just to try get a taste of everything.
I highly recommend if you are looking to relax.
Not recommended if you are looking to party.

Devasom Resort is truly a luxury hotel with the most beautifully appointed furnishings. I have yet to see so much classy details in any one place. It is a haven for couples with your every wish catered for. The restaurant staff, under the very capable, friendly & intuitive guidance of Oui , was excellent. Breakfast however, could have been better, especially for those who need to have Halaal friendly food. There was no salmon nor slices of cheeses, beside the fingers / wedges on the cheese board. Also, for such a small establishment, one doesn't expect breakfast to be cleared 5 minutes before cut off time...maybe 5 minutes after?
We had enjoyed supper there on 2 nights & the food was tasty & well presented...well worth the money spent.
The grounds staff keeps the grounds impeccably clean while housekeeping staff is efficient & non invasive.
I had the pleasure of meeting the owner of Devasom & one can immediately see how this place could be so stylish & successful. She is such a serene, classy & friendly woman.
Devasom is far away from other attractions, but there are 3 daily shuttles to town. However, if absolute relaxation is what you're needing, then this is definitely the place to book.

my stay at devasom resorts was top notch in all ways. the property, though small, is extremely beautiful. bcos it is small, it is very homely also. the ambience is very dreamy...i love the fact that its only 24 rooms. it makes the place less crowded which i prefer. food is very good too. excellent breakfast. english speaking staff is a blessing. it is located right on the beach. the infinity edged pool is perfect to relax in morning as well as evening. one can spend hours reading by the pool or the sea on the chairs, or even better sipping cocktails...free hotel shuttle provides easy access to the heart of the city...i m definitely going back soon...

Heaven on Earth

We had one week’s stay at the Devasom, wish it could have been longer. From our arrival until we left we could not fault anything about it. It is an idyllic setting, only a small hotel and everyone was very friendly. It is very classy but not overly so and lovingly overseen by a very caring and interested owner to whom it is a credit. It is a good fifteen minute drive into Hua Hin but the hotel provides a free shuttle several times a day. Breakfast was excellent as were the evening meals, although we only ate there a few times as there are plenty of restaurants in the city and we like to have a change. If you are looking for a relaxing break then this place is Heaven on Earth.

Perfect holiday hideaway

Booked this resort for a weeks winter sun after reading the very favourable reviews on a number of sites and was not disappointed with my choice. The Devasom resort is located 6kms north of the city of Hua Hin and a 2.5 - 3hr taxi ride from Bangkok International airport. It is very well run small boutique hotel which provides a perfect setting for a quite, restful holiday which will appeal to all those not wanting the hustle/bustle usually associated with typical Thai holiday destinations. The main hotel building and garden 'bungalows' have been tastefully designed to imitate a colonial type theme and really hits the spot. Set in well established and maintained gardens with well proportioned swimming pools I could not fault the level of service , commitment and attention to detail the proprietress and her staff show to their guests.

Extremely relaxing oasis in Hua Hin!

Loved every minute of our stay!

The hotel is small and intimate and the owner and staff have thought of every detail to make your stay as peaceful and relaxing as possible.

The hotel and grounds are stunning - your immediate impression of the hotel as you pull up the view through reception, of the pool and then out to sea.

The hotel does offer a shuttle service in to Hua Hin, however if you’re there simply to chill out and relax - you shouldn’t really need to leave! As the shuttle times were quite limited we ended up using a taxi, which we thought was reasonably priced too.

We stayed in one of the bungalows. It was a great size, well laid out but did lack some easy chairs inside that would have been the icing on the cake. However there is a big window seat which was equally relaxing to sit and read in when we’d settled in.

The restaurant serves a mix of local and international cuisine and is of a very high standard. We were there specifically to switch off and didn’t want to leave as the food is extremely reasonably priced compared to UK pricing.

We had a Thai massage which is the only spa facility on offer, it is done by local specialists who come to the room and offer either 90 minute of 120 minute massages (Thai only). After going through the rigours of the massage we felt rejuvenated, if not slightly achy! Well worth it and good value too.

The owner Rasri welcomes the guests on most mornings and evenings and is delightful.

Couldn't have wanted more fun this spectacular place. Not just the setting but the staff, good and overall vibe of the place was just perfect.

Went here for a relaxation focused holiday with my mum and we had a ball. The boutique resort is executed perfectly with lots of attention 5 detail without feeling harassed at all.

Nice quiet hotel next to the beach

Stayed for 4 nights at a room overlooking the hotel courtyard and the sea, and enjoyed every moment of it. Food at the hotel bistro was good and reasonably priced. Hotel is secluded but has a shuttle to town twice a day. However there are a few restaurants worth visiting within 20 minutes of walk from the hotel.

Simply excellent.
A few things to bare in mind:
-There is not really any beach connected to the hotel (although you can swim in the sea straight from the hotel)
-Massage is according to the front desk given in the guests room
-No gym

For us (a couple) these details didn't really have any big impact on our stay. We really enjoyed the service, the villa and the food (great for vegetarians), as of course well as the pool.

We spent 2 nights in the Beach Villa of the resort in May 2016. The resort is a premium one with cozy and classical decorations. We were impressed by details in the decorations everywhere in the hotel and of course including our villa. Every piece of decoration was echoing the theme of the resort - a nostalgic and cozy atmosphere. One more point worth mentioning was the elegant multi-function hall right next to the reception, which could be a great place for photo shooting.

Our villa was right next to a large swimming pool. By the end of the pool, it was actually the coast. It was perfect for sunbathing and chillaxing with drinks to spend an afternoon. The setting of the villa could as well offer great privacy.

The detail minded philosophy was not only observed from the facilities, but also from its customer service. The staff was very polite, helpful and cheerful. They were more than happy to make various arrangement for us. Devasom was merely a self-owned resort. Although there was no backup from any large hotel groups, we thought its standard of service was comparable and could probably exceed the standard from those reputable 5-star hotel brands.

Devasom unique charm

Devasom has a charming simple luxury of its own. A boutique hotel, unique in the comfort given. It is very good for relaxing away from the city buzz. We liked the complimentary mini-fridge of soft drinks and snacks which was replenished daily. The restaurant serves really delicious, well cooked and reasonable priced dishes that it was not necessary to go out of the hotel for meals. The shuttle service is good. The attention received from all the staff is outstanding and our stay was thoroughly enjoyable.

Unforgettable stay at Devasom

Overall, we liked our stay at Devasom. The hotel is well-maintained in very good condition and it looks new as just opening. It is not far from Bangkok and in a quiet private atmosphere. Hotel is not big so it is in good size and not busy with many guests. The design and decoration is very beautiful and make you feel back into the old time.

Room decoration and cleanliness is very good and with full of amenities that required during your stay. They offer free some snack and drink in fridge. The bed is one of most comfortable one.

Lastly, we hope to come back again in one day :)

Hua Hin's Little Gem

Found this hotel delightful along with the owner and staff. We stayed in a beach villa which was extremely comfortable. Food was exceptional although a little expensive!

Excellent view and services

The hotel is quiet, beautiful and relaxing. The room I stayed was awesome. It has nice seaview & nice bed. The service of the staff is good and everyone is having a smile face. There are not many choices of the breakfast but all of them is delicious.

Resort with high privacy

It is not near city center, it has to take tuk tuk to go there. But they have a high privacy and quite environment, make guest can have a relax holidays there. Love it!

small place to relax

the hotel was quite remote and a little smaller than what we have expected, but it's still cozy and the environment is good. Quite a chilled and peaceful place to stay for vacation. The only concern would be there is no gym facility at Devasom which brought a little imperfection to our stay.

We are glad that we chose Devasom for our first Huahin visit. It's a cozy and delicate resort to provide us a very chill stay. The villa we stayed is big and pretty. Only one thing is that the resort is a bit far from the city like with at least 15-20 drive but luckily it's cheap to book a car in Huahin so it's not a very big issue comparing to our lovely holiday in Devasom :)

Perfection in Hua Hin.

The Devasom is perfect. This was our second visit and certainly won't be our last. The staff are wonderful and can't do enough for you, the beach villa we stayed in was beyond comparison I wish I could take it home with me. The owner goes above and beyond to make your stay and nothing is too much effort. The restaurant food is delicious (and I'm really fussy) and the breakfast is amazing. There aren't any negatives about the Devasom it's awesome and I would recommend it to anyone. Can't wait to return again soon.

It's boutique stylish resort

It's great for a private escape. Love the decor. Good breakfast but still more room to improve for more choices. Not many activities or facilities to do around. Good for real relaxing and chilling out.

Great stay in Devasom!

Great stay! Love everything in the resort, but Hua Hin is a place where you need to book a taxi to get anywhere. Though the resort provides free shuttle service, but it's not as and when required, you have to stick to their designated timing to go in/out the resort. No attractions nearby, beach scenery is also so-so, but I love the resort itself. =)
