the best thing about this hotel is the location which is in station 1 , and is in front of the beach
the room was clean but the bead not that comfortable because is made by old wood so it makes weird noises every time you move your body
the water pressure is very low so is going to take a long time to take a good shower
Also be aware that for the moment there is no swimming pool due to renovation
Very friendly and supportive staff , originally our booking said no \"hot water\" but later we inform the staff and then they \"activate\" the hot water
Another important thing is that they don't provide any toiletries as well no hair dryer

A great budget option for a stay in Boracay

The staff was super friendly and helpful (they can help arrange some tours and activities). I got the Honeymoon Room which seemed smaller than what the pictures online led me to believe. It had all of the promised amenities, but just a bit smaller. Had a very large balcony to ourselves with great view of the beach. The only real negative I would have is the AC was not as strong as I would like. This room was on the third floor and they do not have an elevator, even being a fat American this wasn't really that big of a deal for me but a good FYI for any looking to book the same room. The surrounding area was great with plenty of food and drinking options nearby. Also a convenience store is close by. The area was not very crowded and the beach and the super warm water was amazing.

Place is absolutely garbage, not surprise they reducing their prices in half, the only plus there would be beachfront, water heater and air conditioning are in the room I had but both not working,electric fan old and laud, when booked room have been informed that room is electric fan only , with is fine, but nobody inform me that because I booked non-aircon room I am also not entitled to hot water, baffling me fackt that I had both of them fitted in room, look like owner turn in to maximum profiting, and cut all proper maintenance of these room features, so they simply disconnect them, generally my opinion about this place in negative,its a backpackers spot more than resort and spa,they simply dont understand what is to be Resort and Spa

Nice old style property, needs a major renovation, but overall near the beach and great value for money.
Have had a little issue with aircon but was sorted quick. Staff is friendly and accommodating, will certainly stay there, but if you are into modern style and new euro decors, you may want to reconsider and book something nearby.

Superb First Day!

This resort is situated in Station 3 but in front of the beach. The hotel staff are friendly, the rooms are bigger than we thought. We are in the 3rd floor which needs extra effort in the narrow stairs but overall, it was a superb stay. Not to mention, 7-eleven is just nearby.

*No rags outside the room which is vital to sweep off sand from slippers, shoes, etc.
*No hot shower.
*No hot water dispensers; if you want it for a cup of coffee then you are obliged to pay 50 pesos for a medium-sized thermos or flask.
*Just one blanket for a two-person stay.
*Not allowed to do early check-in's. The earliest is at 2pm.
*No free complimentary toiletries. You ought to buy them before checking in.

Average hotel in Paradise

Boracay is one of the best beaches I have been on. Did not a bad meal and the weather was great. Hotel wasn't bad but it wasn't great. Rooms need updating but overall it was a decent place to stay. The staff were great, and I think that's what makes a good holiday better. Will certainly go back to boracay and would consider this hotel again.

Perfect beach location

Great location right on the beach, many restaurants and cafes in either direction along the beach promenade. It has nice sized rooms and closets. Very clean, highly recommended. No TV's so room entertainment will be your wifi device - but there is so much to see and do in the area. Comfortable bed, the only downside was the very firm and lumpy pillows.

The hotel was nice because it was beach front and for the price of it you can’t beat it. The room was ok it something you can sleep in at night and then go out and explore in the morning. If you are looking for a nice bed, clean looking bathroom and full of amenities. This is not the place.

A great hotel for foreigners and locals alike

The only issue is the lack of Wi-Fi coverage in each room, but for a purpose. The accommodations were well put together, whether it's the activities or the trip to go home. The Staff is very friendly, and the location is in the heart of the location area (that is if you want to be closer to the activities there). This should be the go-to for all foreigners if it is your first time in Boracay.

Decent and convenient beachfront hotel

The given first room has very low water pressure but was replaced with a better one.
However, wi-fi is only available near the lobby, not in the room. Breakfast is basic so it is not recommended to have it for more than once. Beach is just across the doorstep so it is convenient.

Good value for the money

We only paid 1,900 good for 2 nyts. Staff were friendly, spacious room with veranda and the location was perfect. Hassle free and the place was so peaceful. The only negative in this hotel: No TV & landline inside the room & Wi-Fi was poor inside the room, but it's fine since you wouldn't expect quality service for a very cheap price.

I have stayed here 3 times and it was the first time I was given a standard room with no tv. In addition, the mattress and pillows were super hard, causing me to have back pains during my stay. Breakfast was terrible..same thing every day. Eggs, ham and bread. On one occasion breakfast was cooked in advance, and sat there getting cold while they waited for us to arrived

The room that I booked was a standard room.It stinks . The wall, ceiling is in pretty much bad shape with black marks or could be mold, base on he smell. No hot water , you have to pay extra . No shampoo, no soap. There was a bug crawling in the shower . I had lots of bug bites.I mentioned this to the staff , they don't seem to care. Why would they? They only work there.
The disturbing smell of the room didn't seem to go away even if it was cleaned everyday.
The bed is a thin matress , furnitures are old. The tv is tiny just like a computer monitor. I have to move the bed close to it so I can actually watch a show. No chair , no table . Outside the room are 2 chairs and a tiny centre table. I have no idea what is the other room look like.
Mine is pretty much disappointing . I could have check out quickly , but it was non- refundable .So I sucked it up and stayed my booked 4 nights . No coffee .
The staff killed me with their friendliness. One of the reason I stayed.

The over all experience was good considering the relatively low prices of the room. The bad thing was there were not lift and we had to take all the heavy luggage ourselves to the first floor. The booking was inclusive of the breakfast. However the morning breakfast only included cereals, fruits, cakes, fried ham and choice of scrambled or fried eggs.

We arrived late and the staff welcomed us, they even upgraded our room to a much bigger one and very near to the reception area where the wi-fi connection is. The location is perfect, fronting the beach. The staff are very friendly and helpful since I am with my mother who is a senior citizen. They took care of her whenever I needed to go out. The breakfast is the same everyday, they could have improved it by offering other kinds of breakfast like Filipino meal, etc. Nevertheless, food is okay. The room is good, the bed is a little hard. Overall, it was a pleasant stay at La Isla Bonita.

Difficult to beat this hotel on location as it is right on the beachfront of station 3. A few nice lunch and dining places within the area. Sad for the terrible wifi (0 connection in the rooms and poor speed at the reception), lack of sunbeds on the beach (promotional photos show a few sunbeds in front of the hotel), and the fact that using a room towel on the beach seems to be a crime there. I also asked once for room cleaning but was forgotten and had to wait until the next day. Nice friendly staff. I can recommend this property but they wouldn't need much effort to make it better...but probably just won't do it

Despite the huge vacancy of this hotels they don't allow early check in. We showed up 7:30 am tired and ask ....d receptionist blatantly say \"no\" -and no options was given. We have to go bk at 12nn and check iFat that time they will have mercy and let us check in a room we paid for inadvance and won't be using it anyway since we will be out for activities.
We use d hotel just to sleep for 2 nights and we check out 5am. The bed sucks it makes annoying noise when u reposition even slowly. They don't offer to clean rooms.. I guess u need to ask.
Staff is not that accommodating, but friendly.
Id still recommend this place for friends who just needs some place to sleep in boracay.

My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights in one of there honeymoon suits. It was a great stay with our own sun deck over looking the beach. Hotel is a little worn in places and the pool was not in use....but the staff definitely made up for this...they were so friendly. We would certainly come back.

You get what you pay for

Okay lets start with the Good.
The location is good, its just in front of the beach. The free Breakfast is just Okay. Air Conditioning is good. The price is low compared to most beachfront hotels.

The Bad
Wifi is not good, only available in the lobby. The rooms are blocking the signals so you have to go out if you want to enjoy your internet.
Customer service is so-so.
Our rooms were not even cleaned once, we stayed there for 4 days
They dont have generators, there were power outtages in the island during our stay and it was really hot and hard to sleep.
There is like only 1 available wall socket for charging your gadgets.

The Ugly
There are no Safety deposit boxes inside your room. You have to leave your valuables And ROOM KEYS at the front desk.
The faucet water Stinks like sewage.
Even the drainage smells like sewer, We got woken up one night just because of the bad smell.

All in all.. its an alright budget hotel.

Not great, the room is not clean, hairs on the floor, soap/toothpaste on the sink. I would not have mind so much with outdated stuff: bed, bathroom very old, no chair by the table, not cold enough air condition, if it was clean. I did not even ask our room to be clean the second day, I don't feel they would do a good job anyway, our other company asked to be clean as they will be extending their stay. The front desk are nice and accommodating except for one who ever priced us if I haven't ask when we first arrive the price if we extend another night for one room. We complained the next day about the water it stings so much to our eyes and the odor is unbearable we have to finish quickly with our rinsing. The sting by the sea water is bearable than their resort water. The one best thing with this resort is by the beach, though it is quite a ways of walking to station 2, where all the fun/crowd is. This is quite good for resting as there is no noise around if the air condition will not turned off and you wake up sweaty! I would not recommend this resort with the price I pay.

True Gem - Great staff, clean rooms - loved it!

I booked this hotel for 3 nights and ended up staying there 3 weeks. It was an amazing find at a very reasonable price. The staff is made up of 10 beautiful girls who are always ready with a smile to help and assist. The room is cleaned daily, the bathroom was spacious and made out of granite. I really enjoyed my stay there!

The staff are accommodating and didn't ask for a deposit which is good because we didn't have cash when we arrived. That saves us the hassle from going to an ATM and withdraw money. They had the room available for late check in and allowed us to stay an hour longer when we checked out. Overall assessment is OK. We just didnt get that much chance to stay longer and assess them further

Nice Location, Terrible Hotel

You're right on the White Beach but that's as good as it gets. The hotel is run by teenagers or people in their early 20's and they have one housekeeper who sleeps most of the day. Our room was cleaned once during our 7 night stay with one sheet change and I had to hunt down the housekeeper to give us more toilet paper. Room was dirty and the bathroom was just bad. Great location but I think that's why they don't care about taking care of the place because they know people will stay here regardless if they clean the rooms or whatnot. The WiFi isn't free and they charge you 200 pesos a day to use it at the front desk. Everyday and all day long it was just used by the hotel staff to watch videos and play games.

Terrible hotel. Had no soap, the water smelled bad, the AC didn't work and staff were rude. When I wanted to leave the room to go to the club, the security accused me of not booking online because he didn't know how to use the Internet. Incompetent and terrible service. I'd never stay here again.

This is one of the first reviews I have ever left, but I feel I have to to stop people making the same mistake as us. We really did not think alot of Isla bonita, I can not even beleive how much we paid to stay in such conditions, if I could get a refund I absolutely would.
When we arrived the man on desk was terrible not helpful in the slightest- just took our name then showed us our room- which when we entered smelt so unbelievably of damp and mold, was dark, dingey, the bathroom floor was still wet with dirty footprints on- the quality of everything was terrible and dated, the beds were hard, the pillows were covered in plastic ! for pillows ! and in the morning it was so dark and sad (despite being really sunny outside) you couldnt see anything without turning the lights on. there were only two plug sockets, so you have to choose if you wanted the fridge, tv and whatever you wanted charging.
I was so shocked with the state of the room after all I booked it because of all the good reviews on here ! Maybe there are better rooms, so I asked to switch rooms but the two others they showed us were really similar. we settled on another one in the end because it at least had daylight, but it was a single bed ( we were a couple) and so much darkness in the corner of the room with only one lamp. So was so dingy and grose in the evenings.

Not the best, but far from the worst.

Staff are very helpful, can set you p with any activities you are looking for. They are all local and can tell you what to avoid on the island. Hotel itself is fairly clean, but some ant issues. Internet does not work in the rooms, only in the lobby and is very slow.

Hardly qualify for ONE STAR hotel !

Hotel staff are the exception, yet the facility hard to accept being in a resort. Super thrifty people could deal with it !

Good location. Ok for price.

This was a decent place to stay for the first night. I found something better for cheaper for subsequent nights nearby (but i dont reckon you'd do much better online). I had a mosquito issue which took a bit of work to fix (involved getting spray and stuffing clothes in holes to stop them coming in in the night) but after that no problems.

While location is fine, the rooms aren't great with very poor lighting and a hopeless shower. Staff are fine but don't change your US$ here (worst rate of exchange I saw) and the highest priced massages. Also, breakfast is worth skipping:get something around the corner.
