The room was clean and spacious. The spa facilities were very good. There was a slight issue with Crust restaurant as we were there with a few friends and some of the meals would take ages to come whilst others had finished their meal. this happened a few times during our stay. We had to chase the waiters for the orders, and we think the staff or kitchen at Crust was not adequately staffed with trained staff. In one of my salads found hair and it was not good. Otherwise, all other facilities were and service was good.

The staff is excellent , specially Jocelyn. She anticipated all of our needs. Incredibly helpful and friendly. The room is spacious, clean, and excellent proximity to the beach. There’s tons of common area and swimming pools that makes things feel not crowded at all. Fantastic bath and body products, great amenities. The only flag is that there were two days in our stay where we had limited access to some of the facility, especially the infinity pool.

We paid quite a bit of money for our stay (the room service is also surprisingly expensive, with one liter of local bottled water costing almost $7!). We had high expectations, having had pleasant stays at the Lind in the past. However, our experience was terrible this time.
1. Unlike terrace rooms, the rooms on the ground floor have no soundproofing whatsoever. The very loud noises from housecleaning and other guests can make resting or sleeping impossible until late at night.
2. Also due to that and to lack of policing, the shouts coming from the pool can start from around 7 am and continue for most of the day, making relaxing in one’s room very difficult.
3. Due to very frequent (almost daily, in our experience) external events occupying the common areas of the hotel, the Infinity Pool is often hijacked after lunch and for the rest of the day. These “events” produce astonishing levels of noise, easy to hear hundreds of meters from the hotel. You may need to go to the beach like everyone else to admire Boracay's sunset, or just to stay sane.
Based on our experience, by far the worst value in the entire island of Boracay.

the check was a bit of a hassle it took quite some time to get in the room the reason being it was not ready but they did give us complimentary basic 60min massage so it was okay. but they sure do are strict on the check out time of 12 noon. nonetheless it was an amazing stay!

had a wonderful time staying at the resort — the location is beautiful, the staff is warm and attentive, and the overall vibe is very relaxing. However, I believe the guest experience could be even better with more dining options available on-site or nearby.

During longer stays, it would be nice to have variety in food choices, especially for those who don’t want to leave the resort often. Adding a second restaurant with a different cuisine, themed dinner nights, or even light snack and café options during off-hours would really enhance the overall stay.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay but hope to see a wider range of food offerings on my next visit!

We were assgned a room on the 2nd floor but we booked a sea room. Informed them and they moved us to 4th floor just like the one in their ad. Readily obliged and resolved.
Staff are genuinely warm and friendly.
The beach is right outside of property and clean. Sand is like stepping on memory foam, soft, firm and not grainy.
An overall wonderful guest experience!

We had a great stay at The Lind! Their airport transfer service was excellent. The pools were fantastic, and we loved their semi-private beach area. Great location. They offer a shuttle service to D'Mall (where you can buy souvenirs and there are many restaurants). Or you can walk along the beach to get here, also a very lovely walk. We had a very nice room with beach front view where we were able to enjoy the gorgeous sunset every evening. The breakfast buffet was delicious and had a good variety. Dinner options felt a bit limited. They need a fine dining restaurant. The hotel had guests with children, so it's not an adults only atmosphere. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others. PS - you get freebees, like flip flops, key chains, a tote bag!

If there was any criticism, it would be more extensive menu at the restaurant but not a big deal as so many options in other nearby places if you dont want to eat in the hotel... 5 star as always

The overall service was great. However, my family did not really enjoy our stay for 2 main reasons. First, outside food is not allowed, and the hotel has limited food choices. We had to go out and find food. Second, during our stay, there were wedding events every single day. They party until 10PM, so all of us including my toddler was awake until after 10PM because we can hear the very loud music and very loud people in our room.

The service here was pretty good. I liked the extra effort they made at the pool with little treats and how they’d bring water. The food was also good (I’d have to say better than Shangri La) and I liked that they had different themes nights tho it was a bit pricey relatively. They had a great drink menu and a wide range of cuisines / dishes.

I think the service could be a bit more proactive and consistent. Check in was a bit odd but I think I had someone who was a bit off. They didn’t give me a tour or explanation of the property, just told me my room wasn’t ready and then nothing else.

I traveled alone and sometimes that throws people off for some reason. I did notice I got treated differently than couples and families. One thing I really did not appreciate is people (and staff) saving beach chairs for people who didn’t use them for several hours like 4 . The beach isn’t big and only certain chairs get sun.

Overall I would stay here again. The spa treatment was very good, also much better than my experience at Shang tho the facilities aren’t as impressive.

PROS: Quiet area. The hotel is at the far side of station 1 which is away from the noise and crowd of station 2. It gives you a sense of solace when swimming due to minimal crowds. The walk to station 2 by the beach is ~15 mins (or you can use an etrike for quick convenience). Staff are all very friendly and accommodating. They kept all areas clean round-the-clock and amenities well stocked. Their airport pick-up and drop off is a HUGE stress reliever.

CON: After riding the van from the airport to the check in area, just prior to the boat to boracay, we were told to sit and asked for our IDs. After a few mins, it was time to ride the boat, or so I thought. The boat left without me but they took my bagagge. When the tourists before and after me have left the premises and I was alone, I sensed something was wrong. I asked around and asked how long the wait is and they said 5mins. Then I heard one staff exclaim a shocked expression before approaching me. He claimed he called me for the boat ride which was a LIE since I’ve been sitting in the same chair. Considering the check in area is small, I would’ve heard it. Plus, I heard them when they asked for my ID, why would I not hear him for the boat ride? I don’t want to stay forever at the check in area, let alone be separated from my luggage. As patient as I was since mistakes happen, he kept insisting that he did call me which increased my irritability (the jetlag and lack of sleep did not help). Thankfully my bag was secure.

Disappointing: No Refund After Natural Disaster

My airline canceled my trip due to Typhoon Carina, so we couldn’t make it to our reservation. We returned to the USA feeling very frustrated by the ruined trip. The hotel won’t refund our unused reservation and is only offering a rebooking option in two months, even after I explained that we live in the US and have no plans to return to the Philippines due to our negative experience. To make matters worse, The Lind Boracay seems indifferent to our situation. While I understand that hotels typically don’t refund canceled bookings, a natural disaster seems like a valid exception. I recommend considering Crimson Boracay instead; I've heard they provide excellent service. The Lind seems like a poor choice.

Our room was beautiful with a great view of the beach and sea.
The food was good.

Negatives:
We stayed at the resort 6 nights, of which weddings took place on 3 days over that period, taking over the resort. The resort isn’t really big enough to host both weddings and normal guests in its grounds.
The general service level was quite poor. The staff are friendly and welcoming but lack a degree of competence. Examples would be: orders from the bar/restaurant either taking a long time or not coming at all, tables not cleared and information communicated to the front desk not registered or ignored.

Hotel has so much potential as the backdrop for a relaxing vacation. It is a top notch facility- beautiful, well maintained, great location, it even offers unexpected delights like serving lemonade while waiting to check in.

But you just can’t quite relax at this hotel due to the rigid guest rules (for example hotel has a no guests policy for the pools even if they are willing to pay a fee and sign a waiver), and the staff pressures you if you arrive at 2:01pm for a 2:00 pm shuttle to the airport (even if you arrive so early you end up waiting at the airport for two hours before your flight).

Also the basics are missed everywhere: no secondary privacy locks on the hotel room doors, sanitizer at the elevator but none at the serve yourself breakfast buffet that has no bathrooms or sinks nearby to wash your hands, a consistent lack of available clean towels next to both of the pools across two days, someone mopping the lobby yet no place to wipe your feet when coming in from outside rainy rooftop deck areas, resulting in dangerous (slippery) and messy conditions when walking on front lobby tiles. On multiple occasions it took over 40 minutes to fill a basic food drink order, and served my burger to a different table. In the middle of lightning rainstorm they didn’t even clear the rooftop pool of visitors to keep them safe (I observed this from my room). No convenience store, no outside food allowed, even from local restaurants! not somewhere I’ll stay again.
