We had to move to another room because we found food in the fridge post cleaning and the door to our room would not shut correctly. Breakfast was mid according to our kids. Front desk person was best part of the stay. Rooms were 2 star and the place needs to be updated by a professional as it is dated and starting to fall apart from wear and tear.

Overall good stay for the amount payed. If you look extremely close to details of chipped walls chips in paint and into nooks and cranny’s you might see something not pleasant to the eye, but if your looking for a good nights rest decent breakfast to save from restaurants, doing some laundry, taking a dip into the pool and enjoying cool AC with wall thermostats this is it. Me it was the perfect find I liked it

Room was clean and comfortable but my wife saw a bug in the bathroom. A group of guys checked in the last night we were there. a lot of loud noise, door slamming and banging on doors.
Furniture is worn and needs to be updated. We have stayed here several times. This was not the best stay we have had.

The Breakfast was good. Unfortunately the pool was closed all 8 days we stayed kids were bummed. Staff was outstanding. Rooms were adequate but would not walk on the carpet without shoes. Was not pleased having to explain the smell of weed when walking in the halls to kids.

Room wasn’t ready at check in time, then we were given a dirty room & had to wait longer.

I understand mistakes happen. But the attitude we got because we arrive AT checkin time then attitude we got again once they were told the room was completely dirty is what gets me upset.

There is a certain basic expectation from budget Hotels but then there is below expectations… First room I got placed into looked like the party room several broken and missing features like someone had partied hard previously in it.

I did bring it to the attention of the front desk and they did move me to a different room.

Also not the best area there was a-lot of shady happenings going on in the parking lot even during the day.

The room was not in hotel quality standards. There was hair on the bathroom floor trapped at the door threshold, the tile on the bathroom floor was loose and badly caulked. There were dead bugs in the room. The overall condition was poor. I would not stay here or recommend this property to anyone. As I was checking out and asked for a printed folio, I was told the printer wasn’t working and there was no sign of any empathy or anything as the message was delivered bluntly and I was told because I booked third party, they can’t do anything for me and the only thing they know is the commission they get from the third party. I felt like I was penalized or judged for not booking directly with the hotel. Thank you.

My overall experience was incredible like it is every time I stay at Comfort Suites near Camp Lejeune. The only issue I had this time around was the people around me. The doors to the rooms are heavy so if you let them go they will slam, and the people across the hall from me and the people next door to me were constantly letting the doors slam. Around eight am there was nonstop door slamming and the people above me on the third floor were making a lot of noise as well. I understand that this is a hotel and there will be noise but it was nonstop from eight am until 11:45 pm. I've never had this problem before on any of my other stays here so it was just a bit of an annoyance after the first few hours. Other than those around me the rest of my stay was top-tier as always.

One more chance

I only stayed there for two days. The service was wonderful. The cleanliness was off no hot water. I spoke to the front desk once but nothing changed but when I was checking out. I spoke to the manager and she supposed to send me a discount or something. I haven’t received it yet but all and the service itself was good but the hotel was not. They just reopened so I’m gonna say that I’ll probably give them another chance.

It was a awesome stay with awesome breakfast until housekeeping lied and said they can’t come in your room with the do not disturb sign on the door but then came back and said they got a report of a broken window and that we were smoking in the room. We were on our way to church when the police were called. I will NEVER stay here again. I don’t appreciate being excused of something I didn’t do especially when it was me and my children in the room, one who is diagnosed with asthma.

The hotel was okay. The staff was very accommodating and understanding. Sometimes that’s what is needed to make some reviews better. One thing that I could not understand if I am on the second floor. The doors are not closed off at the bottom and we had a cockroach roach that came into our room. I do understand they have them in the area, but how does it get to your room on the 2nd floor.

Disappointing!

This is a very noisy place to stay. You will need ear plugs if you plan to sleep. The walls are so thin you can hear conversations in the next room. If you are on the bottom floor you will hear thumping of foot traffic from upstairs all night. And slamming of doors every five minutes. Our bathroom was very dirty. The door had ground in dirt and dust all over it. Clearly the place is only cleaned to a bare minimum. The carpets are very stained also.
There was basically no breakfast items available when we stayed. Not even a tea bag!!! I paid for a place that had breakfast. This place was absolutely terrible. I was told they had delivery issues so their breakfast items were not available. Perhaps take breakfast OFF your list of services so guests are not inconvenienced. The corridor stank of weed from undesirable individuals lurking around the back entrance and parking lot. Big waste of money!!

The hotel was not clean. The young lady that checked us in was very nice. The room we reserved was a King Suite. Well the suite had adjoining door that leads to another room. I always inspect the room to make sure It's clean etc. I noticed the adjoining door wasn't locked. So I tried to lock it and the deadbolt was lower than the hole in the doorjam so when you turn the lock it would stop & hit the lower part of the threshold. So for safety reasons I didn't feel safe and I called the front desk to change rooms. As we were going to the other room my boyfriend killed a huge roach in the lobby. So we get to our room and the carpet is nasty but it wasn't a bad room. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was ok. Could have been cleaner. Also, there was something on the wall by the trash can. If I was to come back to Jacksonville I would not stay at this hotel ever.

The cleaning lady was rude; all I asked for towels and she had a smart comment. When I checked in the room was so dirty they had to give us another one. They were stingy with the towels, which was dingy. The flooring was awful. Food from the last occupants was still there. Items were left in the fold out bed. I will never stay at that hotel again. But, you get what you pay for. I wouldn't advise anyone to stay at that dirty dingy hotel.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly overall but some housekeeping staff appeared to be not cordial. Hotel was clean but needed some overdue maintenance:elevator trim not finished;hall carpeting old. The pillows and bedding were very comfortable. The shower curtain was in disrepair, old, missing magnet to adhere to tub, and too short to prevent water from spilling on floor. Towels appeared to be clean but have been in service too long. Breakfast was sufficient. Overall, I would probably return for a short stay.

Will not stay again. We travel to Jacksonville at least 3 times a year and this property was a disappointment. On arrival we where told we could not use the pool, one of the amenities we where looking forward too as it is generally 90 degrees or more during the day in Jacksonville. We asked for more towels on our first morning there and where told they didn’t have any at 10am with a hotel full of people they had only just started washing towels. Our room was never cleaned in our 5 day stay. The stairwells where dirty with cigarette butts and the carpets where filthy. Will not stay at this property again.
