I had very little time in this hotel as it was just a bed for the night before an early flight from nearby ALC. It served the purpose well. There is a small front desk at the entry that isn't staffed after 10pm. Fortunately the hotel staff contacted my the day before. I needed to arrange a very early taxi and they took care of this for me. All in all I was satisfied with the interaction, although having a staff member around might have been crucial were there a problem with the taxi or any other issue.

Excellent for an overnight stay as it is 5 mins from Alicante airport by car, especially good for early morning flights. Paco on reception was extremely friendly and helpful. The twin beds were very comfortable, the room and bathroom were very clean. We didn't have time for breakfast. Fully recommend.

This hostel was convenient, as we didn’t arrive in time to catch the last train to Valencia. It was small, but that is what we expected. Room for literally two twin beds and a bathroom. Located on the edge of town. We walked around and didn’t feel unsafe at all. The staff was very accommodating and helpful, they even called us a taxi. Would stay here again for a quick overnight.

The owner Paco is the nicest person you will ever meet and will help you in anyway possible on where to go or how to get around and Marta his assistant and manager is such a great help with everything you may need help with and she shared some traditional spanish breakfast things with me, she is a sweetheart! And pretty too! Highly recommended Hostal Pansimar and minutes from Alicante city center by bus...only about a 15 minutes ride..will be back to stay there when i come back to look for an apartment in Alicante! Spaniards are the best❤

I have given Hostal Pensinar 5 stars as it is great value for money. It's in a good location for the airport, is clean and has lovely friendly staff. It's within walking distance of a large natural beach and is situated in a little town with several bars/restaurants. It's probably not ideal for a prolonged stay, but for a day or two before flying home it's perfect.

The hotel is well sited for an overnight stop en route to or from Alicante airport. It was adequate for this and is reflected in a very favourable rate. Due to the very recent storms and floods, the air conditioning did not work which made for an uncomfortable night, temperature wise. The manager was very apologetic and extremely generous in wishing to offset this.

Stayed here for 1 night arriving in the evening and needing to get straight to the airport in the morning. The receptionist was very helpful, the room was spotless, very clean, small but comfortable with hot shower. Taxi was available readily to and from the airport €10 each way. Did not explore immediate surroundings, but the room was perfect for my requirements - recommended.

An overnight stay after a late arrival into Alicante airport. Taxi ride only 10minutes. Arrival and check in was easy and fast with the person on reception able to answer all our questions. The room was lovely and clean, comfortable bed, good shower and good WiFi signal. This is a 2 star so no kettle in the room but breakfast was available if desired.

Needed somewhere close by to stay while work was being carried out in our apartment. This ticked all the boxes as it was about 100 metres from our apartment. It was lovely to be able to stroll back in the evening and get showered and changed ready for our evening meal. Would definitely stay here again and also recommend it to people visiting this area.

Lovely little hotel, the Receptionist, Amanda, made us feel very welcome, happily arranged an early call and a taxi for our early departure to the airport next day. The hotel has a lift, our room although “compact” was very clean and comfortable. Reception is manned 24/7. There are plenty bars/cafes/restaurants just a few minutes walk away. A good hotel at a very good price. It was close to the airport. My flight was in late so it’s proximity was a big plus - a €12.50 taxi ride.

Does what it says on the tin, well priced, convenient for the Airport ( 15 Euro set charge by Taxi at any time ) which is why we wanted it. In Elche, not Alicante town, a cosmopolitan working class suburb with lots of restaurants and bars within easy walking distance .
Hotel / Hostal is modern and clean and basic. Staff friendly and welcoming, all spoke English during our stay, and very helpful. Rooms clean and basic, no Tea / Coffee facility, but TV & Hairdryer and Power Showers. We had a slightly noisy night, but it WAS a Friday and this is Le Continent, socan't complain about other peoples lifestyle................Would definitely stay again.

My first visit to Hostel Pensimar I was very impressed. A friendly reception on arrival and a nice fresh smell in the hostel. I have used a number of places in Alicante this is the best. It’s in a quiet location with easy taxi access to the airport. I had a small breakfast and was only charged for what I ate. Very friendly and helpful staff. I will return.

I was delighted with my stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The receptionist spoke fluent English. The Breakfast was served in a very friendly way. The prices are affordable. There is a lovely Bar/Restaurant nearby tor going out to dinner as I just had an overnight stay. I would not hesitate to stay again and/or to recommend this Hostal to friends.

The stay was very nice. Its a clean and well kept hostel/hotel. The rooms where cleaned every day and it was very much spotless. I enjoyed the breakfast: strong good coffee, fresh pressed orange juice and croissants. I even had greek yoghurt some days.
There are plenty of small nice restaurants in the town of El Altet, just 1-2 streets up from Hostal Pensimar so food was all around - and a grocery store as well. The beach is 20 min walk away, a great way to start the day with fresh air, waking through nice neighborhoods. The bus takes you to Alicante in 15 minutes and cost less than 2 Euro! ;) The staff is nice and helpful. Will def be back!

Just a transit-stay for 1 night, and arrival was 01:20 at night. But that was no problem since they sent me an access code for the main entrance door and my room. Very practical! And I had a good nights sleep. Nice room and bathroom.

Marta i receptionen var superhjälpsam och trevlig. Rummet var enkelt, men med en skön säng. Toaletten var modern och fräsch. Hittade ett jättegott tapas runt hörnet. Åt ingen frukost då vi åkte tidigt på morgonen med taxi, som Marta ordnat och som kom som den skulle. Allt var perfekt, då vi bara skulle sova några timmar innan vi flög hem. Kommer säkert tillbaka!
