It is very far from the centre and the buses are every hour but we just used uber, costing £6-13 each time.
Breakfast was ok, not much choice.
Staff ordered a taxi to the airport for us and it tuned up in minutes which was good.

Sehr enttäuschend.
Alte, stark abgenutzte Möbel und dreckige Wände. Das Bad erinnert an ein Wohnmobilbad und die Tür ist nur eine Schiebe-/Hängetür. Durch die Feuchtigkeit im Bad, ist vieles bereits aufgequollen oder aufgeplatzt. Das Bad generell sehr schlecht (kaputter Duschvorhang, Lüftung funktioniert nicht, alles wird nass, man kann nicht mal trockenen Fußes auf die Toilette gehen). Zudem keinerlei Steckdosen am Bett und kaum Möglichkeiten Handtücher zu trocknen.
Besonders schlimm: Blutflecken am Griff der Badezimmertür (die gingen abzuwischen) und seitlich an der Bettdecke.
Ehrlicherweise habe ich im Ibis Budget nebenan bessere Erfahrungen gemacht.

So this was a mix stay for me. I usually don’t give bad ratings, but the staff was friendly and attentive, but the tables outside were always dirty. It seems like no one really takes responsibility for cleaning out the garbage can and cleaning the tables off between patrons on a regular basis. Although the lobby has been renovated, the rooms are sadly outdated.

Overall a good stay.

The room was a comfortable temperature and the beds were comfortable but the waterproof protector made them overly hot. Also the protector made the top mattress slide about so much that I nearly fell out as it ended up overhanging by about 20cm. The shower was fantastic. Overall the room was very good though. We were disappointed that the restaurant didn't have a lot on offer from the advertised dinner menu so we went out to eat instead. The Romanian girl on check in was really helpful and friendly.

hotel very handy for Alicante Airport hotel is a little worn but comfortable and with free car parking whilst you stay no long stay, food on site but would say avoid at all costs the staff left a full tray of raw chicken out next to a tray of clean glasses and other food we also witness lots of food cross-contamination whilst staff were cooking the food it was the worse ever so avoid

the place was very clean.....but very basic. Breakfast was 2 cold meats, one type of cheese, friut, yogurt, bread and croissants. The eating area was small. There wasn't anywhere comfortable to sit and read. This was the hotel, the budget would have had less i assume.
An hours walk into town. Close to airport €6. Maps in the hotel would have been useful; all the information had to be by using QR codes!

Great room, clean, quiet and comfortable

The room was the same good standard that we have been accustomed to and why we continuously book the Ibis Hotel Alicante for our overnight stays after flights from the airport.
On this occasion the staff at reception and at the bar and breakfast were not as welcoming as normal, we felt there has been a change in management possibly? The staff did not seem as happy as before.
However the room was very clean and we enjoyed the sea view to wake up to. We will definitely be returning.

Property is not clean carpets a dirty, there are tiles on the hallway by a room they have mildew, they have sanitizer dispensers by the elevators there are empty, the toilet seat was broken loose I had to let him know, air conditioner button broken let him know manage or tell me that I couldn't change the temperature in the room I said that's not correct, that the button was broken the only thing they only give you 2 for showering they don't give you any towels for your hands and face

Property was ok. Staff was ok. Manager is not very nice or helpful. There are no vending machines and I wanted some water and she rudely refused saying it was closed. I then went outside to sit in the patio adjacent to the parking lot. She quickly appeared even ruder stating it was also closed. Also the a/c couldn't keep the room cool.

Ok for only short nights.

Bad experience overall. Reserved 2 rooms (with double and twin bed) first room given was only double. Then a second room was given also only a double. Then a third room given, also a double.., on the 4rh try was correct (one of them at least) then we accepted that the second wouldn’t be what we reserved as they simply didnt have available.
Front desk staff tried to help the situation, but a rude manager/supervisor didn’t make the situation better
In one of the rooms the TV wasn’t working, so had to change remote control and still didn’t work. It was fixed afterwards.
Overall ok if you want just a bed to crash one night… otherwise not recommended!

On my second day.they served baked mashed potatoes as a suitable teplacement for fries.Its NOT.
Apart from the ingredient..a fry is not baked mashed potatoe. The only commonality is the ingredient.

The waitress was unresponsive..I had to return to the desk, 3 times...She did point a the \" t and cs\" on the menu..which any judge would laugh out of court.

They never addressed the situation to a mutual satisfaction.

I paid.as i didnt want to be kept waiting even longer than the meal had taken to eat..i didnt eat the fake chips.

Very dissappointing..

Hotel is fine for a short stay, far from city center but we knew that already. There’s a strong smell of sewage in the room, so strong that it woke me up in the middle of the night. Breakfast was ok and convenient for the $8.50 we paid. Gated hotel with no clear way to go in without having a code but you don’t have a code until you check in so if you get there late not sure if you have to ring a bell or something. If you’re planning going to the the sites, I would recommend maybe pay a little extra and stay closer to city center that way you can save on transportation. Ride from hotel to train station was $17

Great stop off

Ideally located for me and what I needed. Breakfast was buffet continental with very limited choice, definitely not worth the additional payment. Buses run right outside the property in both directions and very cheap to use.

Alicante in one direction and Urbanova (beautiful beach resort) and the airport going the other way.

Not really a \"bar\" just a small break out area to sit with a beer. The beer garden forms part of the car park.

Ideal stop off if you don't need anything, including a shop. It's very remote. But close to main arterial routes.

Hotels.com or Ibis issue?

When I arrived at midnight they said that I had no reservation . We were very tired and just wanted our room. The man in reception said that despite me booking in Jan( I showed him the itinerary number and email) with hotels.com) that apparently hotels .com had not booked it with them . They appeared to have no record of my booking. I was then charged €70 for the room instead of the €55 that I had booked it at with hotels.com. I was travelling with my daughter and we were both very tired so I just paid it as we needed a room.

All in one body hair hand wash in dispensers that’s it. if you’re looking for a real glass a bar of soap look somewhere else
It’s a place to sleep but you’re not going to want to stay in your room for more than that.
I checked in at 11:30 at night. All staff was very young, and it looked like they were having a get together as opposed to working. I felt like I was interrupting as opposed to being served.

Perfect for a late arrival. Arrived at 1am and they still made us a pizza. Only downside was the bathroom shower leaked and made the rest of the bathroom wet. Other than that no complaints.

Good location if travelling by car,on arrival staff were friendly, room was basic but the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was adequate with freshly squeezed orange juice, good coffee, cold meats, cheeses, boilled eggs and a choice of breads. I would definitely stay there again

Six day trip down through France and this was by far the best stay. Juan and Anna Maria were outstanding in every way. What a shame their boss’s let them down BADLY. They must have known how many were staying, Juan and Anna Maria really did need some help and support from some others on duty. The company failed miserably.

Very Disappointing Restaurant - Rooms Far To Hot

We chose this hotel as it said there was a restaurant but all it had was a food and drink area next to reception staffed by a rather unfriendly barman who told us we could only have pasts or pizza. We ate elsewhere. The room was far too hot and the air-conditioning had been switched off. The receptionist was friendly.

Ibis are good family friendly /dog friendly hotels. I e we’re disappointed in this visit as we had booked two rooms as a family travelling and one room wasn’t available yet at check in time. I understand it was high season and we took the one room and left all of our luggage. We returned tired at 7pm and the second room still wasn’t cleaned and available to us . This was disappointing.
